6801  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: July 23, 2019, 01:57:19 PM
Crimes involving dollar stays still or goes down right? As long as there is a currency exchange the crime will continue. Criminals do not care if bitcoin exists or not, if it helps them sure they will use it but do you really think that many criminals are smart enough to use crypto to use to their advantage? Lets face it bitcoin was created around 2008-2009 times and before that crime was already a thing, not like money laundering or drug dealing started after bitcoin was created.

Hence, it means they will use crypto for crimes, they will use dollars, they will use euro, they will use whatever they can to do their crimes and we will fight against them. Crypto is not helpful to criminals, it is just another method for them to use while doing their crimes.
6802  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: July 23, 2019, 07:48:51 AM
I think it also depends on where you are giving your KYC as well. I mean I wouldn't want to give to a company that will later collect that data in an excel like format and sell it to advertisers and that is the least of our worries, not to mention bad people neither.

Just because you gave your KYC to a company that company can sell it to some money laundering people and in return those people could use your KYC to cash out their bitcoins to fiat using your information they bought from that company. So long story short if your information gets in the hands of some bad people they can do some bad stuff with it. That is why its not about giving your information, its about who you are giving that information to, a decent company can get their hands on my KYC no problem but if a shady one wants it then I am not sharing it.
6803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading competitions on: July 23, 2019, 06:30:29 AM
I really do not like these because it encourages people to do trades they do not really want to do. There are plenty of people that trade just to get into these and people who actually buy and sell from themselves only paying the fee's as a loss that joins into these things as well depending on the competition.

If you do not feel comfortable about a trade then don't do it, just because there is a reward at the end of it doesn't mean you should trade as much as possible. If you are aiming at making more money than only focus on that during your trades and not the amount or not the profit percentage nor anything else, just focus on doing it your own way and if it happens to earn you a reward while you are doing it then great, if it doesn't then don't force it.
6804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 Basic Tips For Currency Trading Success on: July 23, 2019, 06:00:22 AM
That overly ambitious people who are looking to make 10% a day has been around for a long time, they haven't been around for few months now but last year when bitcoin was at it is peak they were all around looking for ways to make %10 a day somehow. I can't believe there are people on this earth that think that 10% a day is something possible. They must be thinking this is some sort of game and not real life because in real life nobody makes that much money.

Plus, educating yourself requires people to study how the market works and how they should react to what happens etc which takes time and most traders are noobs who do not want to spend time out of trading studying it, they just want to start trading right away. These are great tips but unfortunately most traders do not care about these.
6805  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Gamble Pro - Artificial Intelligence Gambling System, Roulette and Dice Game on: July 22, 2019, 02:53:43 PM
I think the problem here is that you do not really understand "why" we do not trust this. You think its working or you even maybe "know" its working so you have no idea "why" we are not trusting it. And I can totally understand that. However the reality is that if you do not accept openly that "because of house edge there is no way of winning in gambling long term" then nobody will trust you, that is plain and simple.

If you went out and said "this system allows you to gamble longer without losing but eventually it loses too because of house edge" then people would believe in you, hell there are gambling bots everywhere and they all accept that simple fact.

However, you keep saying "you enjoy losing, otherwise you would have used our system" sounds like using your system would make us win all the time and we all know its impossible as long as there is a house edge. So come out and say that your system would be better than manual and would have higher chance at winning but eventually even your system will lose because of house edge and people may start looking at you differently.
6806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: review luckynano.com - trusted & good website on: July 22, 2019, 02:22:47 PM
Not gonna lie when I saw the name nano I still feel very bad. I got into nano when it was a lot higher and now lost a lot of money because of it, I am still keeping it on the wallet and waiting for the day it will go up, I should at least move it to binance and put a sell order at high levels just in case it goes up one day while I am not checking, it really happens like dump and pump time to time so maybe I will take advantage of that.

Aside from that lukcynano must be the fastest because nano is literally the fastest coin and it is so instant that when you send money from one tab and check if it came on the other tab it is already there so I am pretty sure if nothing else luckynano must be the fastest casino out there considering nano is the fastest coin it would make sense. All other aspects are personal opinions I suppose.
6807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction on: July 22, 2019, 01:05:47 PM
Another "what will bitcoin price be?" topic, seriously I am sick of these, bitcoin price will be whatever it will be but us talking about it in multiple topics every single day makes no sense at all.

If we are going to just talk about it every single day then mods should open a bitcoin price prediction topic with a date every single day. That way we will have a fresh topic every single day titled like "22nd JULY 2019 BITCOIN PRICE PREDICTION TOPIC" and each day the date will change into whatever the date is and that way we will move into the next topic and continue to do so. We are basically already doing it but there are multiple posts every single day by some people who are... well I assume this one just wants to sell his penmanship to make some money by writing articles.
6808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you think Bitcoin will be by the end of [insert time here]? on: July 22, 2019, 05:33:26 AM
I am pretty sure bitcoin will be above 20 thousand dollars when the halving happens. Not afterwards, I don't know what will happen afterwards, it could totally go a lot higher or lower and we wouldn't know about it, I am just pretty certain that it will be above 20 thousand dollars during the halving, maybe it will actually make a difference and miners will stop selling low so the price will go even higher afterwards or maybe it is not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be so the price goes down, however until that day everyone will think something major will happen which is why people will want to buy whereas they will be afraid to sell and miss out. That is why my prediction is above 20 thousand dollars on early may, maybe I am wrong, who knows.
6809  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: July 20, 2019, 08:17:08 AM
I did not think that this game to have players playing it. At first, I was very confused about why this thread was triggered again but after reading you guys discussing the matter I want to join the game and try to log in on my old account (I still have the credentials). And I have around 0.02 BTC on that account if I remember correctly. I remember I used to play this game when I just started with that fine at 2013 and I have some friends who also there trying to get their hands around Bitcoin but after many failed attempts they left the bitcoin community.
I have seen it before as well but I haven't played it before, maybe I will give it a try. I like the aspect of mmorpg in crypto world but I think we would need like a video or something that is basically someone starting from zero and doing something successful, of course there are other options and other ways to play but showing just one version would be great.

Like maybe a youtube series of someone that has been playing the game for a long time so an expert in the game, starts a new character and shows us the first maybe 10 hours of gameplay on what to do, that way we can actually know what to expect when we join and play the game. I remember trying to understand the whole concept and even downloading the game but failed do anything so I deleted and haven't played at all (maybe 10 min max) so that type of video help would be the best marketing.
6810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING of Bitcoin in a broker or exchange? on: July 19, 2019, 08:56:29 AM
I still think exchanges are by far the better ones, I mean brokers are not bad and they are getting better by the day but if you can't trust an exchange how do you know you can trust a broker, they are far more dangerous in those cases. Plus I think OTC is getting more common these days considering a lot of people realized they had bought bitcoin when it was cheap and now they can sell it but there are issues of taxes and money laundering questioning and so forth which means people want to do OTC and not involve banks.

I don't know if brokers versus exchanges will ever be equal considering exchanges are far better but with the addition of debit cards like in coinsbank the amount of people using those places may eventually reach to a really high number unless exchanges do something like that as well.
6811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC and the $5 hammer on: July 18, 2019, 05:15:24 PM
There are A LOT of places that ask for KYC, I don't understand how people are reacting like there is no KYC asking in crypto casino world when there is a ton of them. The only difference compared to exchanges is that crypto casinos ask it after you win money and not while you are registering which is a lot worse than what exchanges do.

When you are on an exchange and they ask for your KYC they just simply ask for it during registering and you know if they want it or not and how much you can withdraw without your KYC, however if you happen to just play on a crypto casino and win a big amount they tend to ask you for your KYC when you want to withdraw that big amount, they are literally letting you lose without KYC but when you win they ask for it, that is really horrible and unfortunately true.
6812  Economy / Economics / Re: Bill Holter and Jim Sinclair: Gold $87000 per Ounce at Least on: July 18, 2019, 01:26:29 PM
The thing is there could be any type of prediction in gold market and it will never change the reality of the fact that gold will never increase too much too quickly. Now you can assume a dollar pegged price and maybe even say 87k per ounce but the reality is that even if it reaches that price (it eventually will given enough years) the debt and all other metrics will change as well, by that time you will need 250k or 500k or whatever per ounce to do the same.

It means yeah it doesn't matter how high you predict gold will get, it will eventually get there, maybe it will take 10 years, maybe 50 but it will reach there however it will never recover all the debts of USA because that increases at the same time but with a faster rate as well, that is just a wrong calculation.
6813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Local bitcoin trading site doing KYC NOW on: July 18, 2019, 08:47:56 AM
What happened to local bitcoin trading site..do to the sudden implementation of KYC procedure regular traders getting shocked with the limitation of LBC trading... already we facing various issues from government sides, then the sudden KYC implementation gives negativity so the traders are decreases day by day. Finally the KYC procedure not user friendly, If we produce the right id proofs then also getting rejected. If it continues we dont no what happen to LBC next?
I think it is about governments and how much you want to go against them as well. I mean if the government you base your operations in wants your KYC and asks the company to ask for KYC in order to give it to them and then there is nothing the company can do.

What are you expecting them to do tell the government no? That would have big repercussions and they would finally raid the place to get all of the information themselves or close the company down. That is why if a government asks something like that they would have to apply it to their website and follow the rules, otherwise they would have to pay the penalty. These are not anarchy ridden countries we talk about, they are huge and they do not want money laundering to get easier in their nations as well so it is understandable.
6814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 18, 2019, 08:18:07 AM
I do not understand what the alts are waiting for at all. When bitcoin goes up they go down because bitcoin is going up and their worth are pegged to dollar instead of bitcoin so their dollar value is either same or a bit less while their bitcoin value goes down a lot.

When bitcoin goes down they go down with it in dollar value as well for some reason while keeping the bitcoin value same. So with this logic whatever happens to bitcoin the eventual outcome is altcoins going down in price, what are they going to fall to zero dollars? That doesn't happen neither, sometimes all of a sudden out of nowhere altcoin prices start to go up, it is not because btc went up or down, it just happens without any reasoning at all. It is really hard to predict these things overall.
6815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook libra hearing on: July 18, 2019, 07:19:17 AM
The sad thing is if Libra gets super famous then we will not see it in exchanges we use.

Libra could be the real alpha stable currency in the world of crypto and I would love to see it on places like binance for example but without these facebook allegations are over that is not going to happen, we don't know when facebook will be allowed to share its libra outside of whatsapp and facebook neither, I don't know how people will cash out neither, like if I want to send money to someone in USA for example and forward them 500 Libra and say here is your money, how will that person take it and cash it out, nothing is known so far and thats the issue.

I hope that with time they will add it to everywhere and we will be using it in all exchanges instead of the USDT we are using right now.
6816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Government vs. Facebook Libra on: July 18, 2019, 06:08:57 AM
I think facebook must have done their homework in something like this and they wouldn't find anything wrong with it.

Governments job is to check these things out so of course they will have a meeting and see how it works out and how it will be made etc etc but in the end if Facebook has done everything they should have done and there is nothing illegal with it then they have nothing to fear, there is no scenario where government is not checking it out, even if it is by the book and everything is done legally they would have to check it in order to find if there is anything wrong and if they don't then they will just let them work on it. This is purely for show reasons so government can say that they did whatever they can and checked and found nothing wrong.
6817  Economy / Economics / Re: Bomb Token, Runescape Partyhats and Rubber Turkeys — A Game of Scarcity & Desire on: July 17, 2019, 05:32:02 PM
I think this was one of the most well written article I have ever seen about the store of value plus explanations of how it all works. I knew it already but if you asked me to explain it I wouldn't be capable of telling you something this amazing. From the runescape bluehat type of deals to bitcoin and decentralization to the eventual bomb shill, it was all amazing.

I personally was around on the early days of bomb, I even received a bit I think but managed to sell it for couple bucks because I didn't really trusted it. Its still doing fine from what I can see but eventually all bombs will be destroyed by logic so less and less people will have bomb and that would make them even though scarce, unwanted and not cared. Even if one person owned all golds in the world they would lose their value since people would move to something else.
6818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Monopoly of Binance on: July 17, 2019, 03:45:27 PM
They are widening the gap as well, that is the weird thing. They are clearly the best one out there and they are basically controlling whole of the exchange market but they are still looking after getting more stuff, they got into IEO so they could corner the ICO market with new coins as well, they are now going into margin as well to get from bitmex, they are doing plenty of stuff that would eventually get more money from other people.

I am not going to be shocked if they open a casino as well in order to make more money, I know that is irrelevant to exchange but with the speed of improvement I am fully expecting dapps systems, games, casinos, interests, masternode sharing, collective staking and many more from binance all in one website to make themselves the sole survivor of exchange market.
6819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: July 17, 2019, 03:20:16 PM
How does it not affect the project at all. If the bounty manager you hire yourself doesn't represent you at all then why did you hire them to begin with. If you have a bounty manager then they are your representative here and whatever they do is basically what your company is doing.

As the whole project you need to check all of your customers, just like if a coder writes a wrong code and just like how a designer has a misprint, if the bounty manager is doing something shady in order to enrich themselves then you need to make sure you fix what the wrong they did and give the bounty hunters the amount they deserve. Even if its just a temporary position the ramifications could be forever and from your early days it will haunt you forever even after years of operation.
6820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First hand examples of Emotional trading on: July 17, 2019, 08:01:06 AM
A friend of mine bought gup, I don't know which coin is that to be honest with you but the short code of it is "gup", he realized that would be going up soon because the team was good and they were actually working on the product and he said "many ICO's are done where owners just take the money and leave" so he wanted to get involved with a coin that actually worked on. That is the background of the story, now he had that coin in one exchange, don't remember which one so lets call it xchange and it was listed on another one and lets call it ychange.

The price of gup changed 400% in ychange but all his gup was in xchange so he got really hyped and excited and super pumped about it and sent all his gup to ychange instead, he even bought as much gup as he can from cheap xchange and then sent it to ychange. As you might imagine the money didn't transferred that quickly and dude was basically in debt by the time he received the money and the pump was dumped.
