6801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 21, 2018, 12:40:51 AM
Anyone here who's following Carmelo Anthony? there's an article I've seen lately that says he has 7 new potential homes as his choice.

1. Lakers
2. Golden State Warriors
3. Brooklyn Nets
4. Blazers
5. Wizards
6. Jazz
7. Heat

Link: 7 potential NBA homes for Carmelo Anthony once the Rockets release him

Looking for some related news about his potential come to Lakers.

This is what I've found: LeBron James says the Lakers adding Carmelo Anthony in free agency isn’t his decision

Do you mean that I can continue to hold BCHABC and BCHSV and wait for my loss to recover?
Today the market continues to fall, the market is now horrible red.
It depends on how long you can wait but this what's normally happen when someone is in loss with his coins. I've been holding also but not with these coins and waiting for the moment to recover. Yes, the market is in red and no one can tell you when it will stop.

Is there any way other than the transaction that can make up for my loss?
You can convert your coins into stable coins to retain its value in USD.

I found a lot of bounties here? Should I participate in them, how much income can they bring me?
No one is stopping you to join those bounties but many of them are waste of time and not worth to join, why I'm saying this? there are too many bounty hunters that are complaining on how many of them were scams. And with your rank, there are few bounty campaigns that you can join depending on your eligibility.
6803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH STILL DROPPING AHEAD OF HARD FORK on: November 20, 2018, 04:29:38 AM
Guys - CSW's tweet was AFTER bitcoin dropped.
Which means CSW is bullshitting as usual.
His SV is already plummetting.. and much more road to go if you consider that it's still sitting at a market cap equal to ADA whilst most exchanges have refused to list it..!
Which means that the battle is about to end and someone is already winning between the rival of the two forks. Stellar just surpassed bitcoin cash's spot @ #4.

Perhaps the presence of BCHABC will replace BCH, if the BCHABC Coins are very strong, then it can certainly replace BCH. BCHABC and BCHSV I hope to be a very useful coin.
One of them will replace BCH and that's why this civil war is still on going but I guess it's about to end anytime soon. This has caused a lot for the market. We just need few more time until one of them goes on the top and BCH will be totally dumped forever while one of them will be the new BCH.
6804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start? on: November 20, 2018, 03:42:42 AM
Thank you, I feel better now, I will learn more about crypto, and I will not buy any crypto easily in a few months. If the price of BCH is not going back, I will not complain again, this was my own decision and wil not weaken our friendship.
I have started to like crypto a little bit now. Smiley
Glad to hear that.

About the pricing of BCH, it's going lower and lower as the day passes by because people are jumping off to ABC/SV. But until the war against the two hasn't ended, there will be no proclaimed winner. Good luck to set of coins that you are about to consider soon.

I am also a newbie. My friend suggest me to start with altcoin or small trading to learn more and gain experience. You should think about his suggestion.
You can have your choice on where to start with your preferred coin but why start with altcoins if you can get straight with bitcoin?
6805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are bitcoin cash camps dumping? on: November 20, 2018, 03:14:43 AM
I don't have time to monitor all of these drama's and war but that's a good opinion. That's what possibly happening right now, not only the hash war but also a dumping war to support the fork that they are into it.

The collateral damage of this war is also on them and I'm pretty sure they are aware of it. It's just their ego and pride that keeps them going on.

6806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Addiction to tech treatment on: November 20, 2018, 02:34:58 AM
Even without these VR's or supercomputers the fact is we are already attached to our PC's so be it desktops or laptops. And perfect example is our smartphones. Every single thing that we do using these technologies, we get used to it and its going to the point that we can't live anymore with it.

This the reality and sadly happening. There are people also that find it as a solution to escape their real world problems that they can't deal with anymore. Too much usage whether related to technologies or not, does have bad effect.
6807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody Buying Cryptocurrency :( on: November 20, 2018, 01:52:07 AM
Nobody is buying? I'm not sure if you are just blindly looking at the exchanges buy/sell orders. If nobody is buying right now then the price won't even stay @ $4,800. Don't have that misunderstanding that just because the prices are going down, you'll estimate that no one is buying.

Every dip, there's a lot of buy orders that are having this signal on when they should start buying. Investors aren't gone of their minds if they are selling out of panic, they are rushing just to sustain their losses and this is the normal scenario when plummet triggers.
6808  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What exchange is secured for usage and legit for newbies and for all? on: November 20, 2018, 01:20:29 AM
Pump and dump isn't an on going trend and this isn't new in the circle. This is already popular since the old times and even I got into the crypto market. If its about the security of these newbies, there's no secure way of guaranteeing their money to profit as they trade.

There's always risk indicated when they trade and if its about the secured way of keeping their money on exchange is they shouldn't keep that much coins to any of them. I've read an incident that there's a coin got de-listed to one exchange and this trader is complaining about it and asks where are his coins now although that exchange gave notification to all of their users.

webinar was good. I think they recorded it so I'm sure someone will post it when they post it up.
That's good to know. I searched for the webinar and I think I've found it. Some youtubers posted it, no need to know if its paid or not so here are the links:

6810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 100 crypto launches first dapp on: November 19, 2018, 01:27:05 PM
Is there a private blockchain now in crypto's except those blockchain that runs by a private company? At least this project is keep on developing to the point that they are giving their investors and holders the best experience that they can. Unlike those coins that are just more on sweet words but never did any single move with their development.

Anyone who downloaded that Moodada?

I haven't. How does it look? I'm waiting for the webinar later today to watch how they build it. And it looks like they're announcing an ambassador program too
It's private so how should we know?

Can you give an update on what happened to that webinar? I'm not updated with what they are now doing.
6811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somebody maybe virus stoll my ETH :( on: November 19, 2018, 12:48:13 PM
Sorry for your loss, the hacker has been sending all of other wallets ETH to that wallet address.

Would you care to explain and give us some few words on what you did before your ETH was stolen? Did you download any app that required you to enter your private key? or have you received an email that tells you are eligible for an airdrop and redirects you to a fake MEW?
6812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth holding XRP and BTC, or selling my XRP for more BTC? on: November 19, 2018, 12:20:46 PM
I don't like XRP and will never be a supporter of it but for those that are holding it, you might like this news that I've seen today.

https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/11/binance-ceo-hinting-that-he-might-be-willing-to-make-xrp-a-base-currency/

Such news do really affect a coin but don't expect also too much with these speculations. As a bitcoin believer, I'm giving bitcoin more space to my portfolio and has the highest percentage than the other alts.

Note: I also hold eth.
6813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH @ 158 USD on: November 19, 2018, 11:26:10 AM
How long you've been holding ETH? At what price you purchased it? I'm not sure what's the reason of the dump as a whole. Yes, as a whole for the market because looking at other coins, they are also being dumped with higher percentage.

It's not an exception that ETH is dumping today but consider also that the market is on a big correction. I'm not sure if this is cause by the upcoming event on December related to Bakkt's and they are giving a wide entry to have cheaper price for those folks.
6814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another step in my cryptocurrency knowledge quest on: November 19, 2018, 10:52:21 AM
Hi sharon welcome to the forum!

I'm glad that you have been doing it the right way though you are new here. I wish you all the best with your crypto journey through the forum. There's much thing to learn here and you'll be amazed on how you can acquire much information here technically about crypto's and techniques through trading and investments too.

I would warn you to take a look at the scam schemes too (ponzi, high-yield investment program, cloud mining), so you know what type of investment that involves crypto you should avoid.
6815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start? on: November 19, 2018, 10:12:49 AM
Thank you for your help, I now know what Bch ABC and Bch SV are. But now both of them are falling, what happened? I am scared!
Will this market become better next year?
There no one that can assure you if the market will become better by next year. The prices are falling not only for those coins you hold but for every cryptocurrencies in the market, in short the crypto market is falling for awhile. And this can stay for long or its just a short time fall. And what you should do is create a plan and DYOR (Do your own research).

Don't be scared, as I've said if you DYOR then you are aware on what's the potential result of the market. Right now, you have the power to decide to sell both coins you have. You just imitated what your friend done by buying BCH and that's not your sole decision right? buying before the fork is okay but you should also lean on your own decision making.
6816  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I make my bitcoin grow in this s****y market? on: November 19, 2018, 09:36:01 AM
Don't be hasty on this market. This determines on how people should take the bear market before the bull comes back. If you are still quite new to this and you are looking for some way to retain the value of the money you invested then, trade. That's the only way to grow your money or at least get back the equal value.

Choose what you want to do. You can't even bear to hold during this bear market and how you would grow your money with trading if by just simply holding you are losing your patience. Sorry mate but you need to understand that thing, it's eithet hold or buy at the moment. If you sell and look for some other ways to gain profit then choose some other investments not related to crypto's.
6817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hate wave? on: November 16, 2018, 09:48:15 PM
Let them call what they want to call, they can hate and say such words with it because they can see it right now as a threat to the finance industry. About the recovery, yes bitcoin usually recovers after the dip and this is the behavior of bitcoin.

Iam feeling like the hate wave never ends since about 4 years always bad news BUT Bitcoins still standing Cheesy
Most bad news publishers start to buy after the news XD

regards
They will never stop hating bitcoin and calling it with anything that they want to call just to discourage the investors of it. Bitcoin is attracting their customers, depositors and investors so what they should do? taking action like this is their resort.
6818  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web Telegram - dangerous? on: November 16, 2018, 09:10:18 PM
It's not the telegram itself but probably your browser. Check your computer's performance, CPU usage on how many percent was being used. Is it safe to use? well think that someone is using your computer to mine some altcoins, what would you feel?

As suggested just block it.
6819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin or Alt Coins? on: November 16, 2018, 11:00:30 AM
My friend has just begun his trading,Which are best to start the trading with Bitcoin or Alt coins?
Buy and hold bitcoin while having altcoins, choose those that has large volume so you can trade freely and you don't have problems when you are about to sell them.

Is it a good idea to strt the trade for beginners in the bearsih market ?
Bull or bear, trading is recommended.

If so,Which is the better exchange ?
Binance/kucoin is fine.

One thing that your friend need to remind, trade only with an amount that's affordable to lose.
6820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market Situation, an Instrument to Scam Bounty Hunters on: November 16, 2018, 10:30:55 AM
Scam for the project that will not continue and just used those people as free marketing tool to gain exposure for their project. On the other hand, they can't also be forced to pay those hunters because they failed. Most projects that conduct marketing like bounties, doesn't really have a budget for it that's why they will pay you with their tokens if they become successful.

They have allocated budget for some other types of marketing such as in social media's or sponsoring some youtube videos. They will not be advertised if they will not pay upfront. That's the other side of bounties, you won't get paid if the project failed.
