there is any possibility that we can lost our bitcoin although we secure it properly.

If you know how to secure it properly then you dont have to worry about this stuff but most people dont know how. However the thing about Im choosing to secure money in form of BTC is based on the security side and not based it on the investment side

Hmm yeah it's fair enough when I say that we can secure our money in house if we know how to secure it safely right? It's okay if you prefer to bitcoin with your reasons , and good luck for that. Maybe next time you can share to me how secure our bitcoin properly. Seems it will be useful for me in future.
6822  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 18, 2015, 04:09:51 PM
First of all, McD is not even going to replace their (human) employees with robots, at least for the next 30 years. And by that time, the low skilled people will be able to find some other manual job, which suits them. They can't suddenly replace all their 2 million employees in a year or two. For heaven's sake it is impossible to manufacture that many robots, currently.

Yeah actually I didn't say the machine will replace all of human employees in short time, and can you mention the other manual job that suit them ? I think all of the jobs will be replaced by machine too. Because what? Because....
Machines seldom makes mistakes (if they are programmed correctly in the first place). That is one of the advantages, when you replace humans with machines. The chances of error, are reduced to near-zero. The robots will misperform, only in cases of system hacks or any other serious issues.

So, I think the employer or businessman want to get more customers and gain higher profit right? Avoid humans errors with machines.
6823  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 17, 2015, 02:06:25 PM
But, we don't know exactly what will be happened to ex human employees. Lost their job and can't do anything.

A job with the McDonald's is not a high paying one anyway. Most of their employees are illegal immigrants and individuals who do part-time job, such as students. I don't think this initiative will have a sizable effect on the unemployment rates, although in the United States, McD is one of the top employers, in terms of the number of employees.

Yeah, but all of us have known that McDonald's spread their franchises almost in all countries. The situation in US surely have differences with other countries, so not all of McDonalsd's have the illegal immigrants and part time job employees there.

As I had posted earlier, the salary with McDonald's is extremely low, when compared to other jobs. In most cases, people with little or no skills will take up jobs with McDonald's, as they have few other options. This situation is the same everywhere. Go to third world nations such as India, and even there it is the low-skilled people who are getting employed with the McDonald's.

So if the employees will be changed with machines, I think they lost their job. And with the less skills, they can't get any jobs from other employer. They can't do anything and the number of unemployed will raise higher

Wow, it's a big lose to Cavaliers. Like I said before, we can't just depend on one player to bear the team. But, LeBron James is still one of the best player in this season. Anyway, congrats to Warriors, and for OP, you need to improve your analysis about your prediction. Good luck for you.

I don't think so, because no one that will guarantee your bitcoin other than yourself. You can't complain to police or other authorities when your bitcoin was lost if you are living in country where government don't recognize bitcoin. So, if it lost, then it's gone forever. In bank, they can give guarantee to secure your money.

Any Bank will always give a guarantee their customer that they will secure their money no matter what happened, otherwise there will be no one to put their money in the bank (marketing tactics).
In term of solely for security , BTC is indeed a better option ( Im a fan of securing my own belongings ) if you know how to do it properly but in term of solely investment , I would say that BTC is a risky bet for now due to its volatility and it will be much better to put your money in safe deposits as an investment

It's fair enough if the marketing tactics by bank don't make us loss, as long as they can secure our money there. imo there is any possibility that we can lost our bitcoin although we secure it properly. And again, no one can give guarantee your bitcoin in your wallet, except yourself.
6827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 17, 2015, 01:16:18 PM
I recommend bitcoin to all my friends but the problem is they just say 'why do I need btc when I have paypal?'

Bitcoin is better than paypal, we can send money without fee or very lowest fee, we can trade it, we can sell higher in price and buy again at lower price
more place to invest

And if you have known that bitcoin is better than paypal, then you can tell your friends now and recommend them to join in bitcoin. Don't forget to show them what you have gotten from bitcoin, like the profit or easier method in transaction.
6828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 17, 2015, 02:43:02 AM
A few days ago I invited two of my friends who have small online business to try BitCoin, he asked me a series of questions, after answering all of it and show the advantage of using the Bitcoine he told me it was better to continue to use PayPal as payment method.

Maybe your friend think that there are more paypal users than bitcoins, so for your online business, it sounds fair when he said paypal is a better method. I think you need to explain that bitcoin is not only for payment, but it also can be used in investment too.
6829  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 17, 2015, 02:27:24 AM
Basically if you are only looking for a place to secure your money, BTC will be the answer for it and you should put every money that you have to be in form of BTC as an investment because BTC is far more secure than bank

I don't think so, because no one that will guarantee your bitcoin other than yourself. You can't complain to police or other authorities when your bitcoin was lost if you are living in country where government don't recognize bitcoin. So, if it lost, then it's gone forever. 6830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 17, 2015, 02:05:16 AM
None. Bitcoin is, imo, at the stage where it hasn't gotten public acceptance yet. I won't be recommending a currency that's so foreign to them and a bit hard to grasp at first glance.

If you feel hesitate, I think you don't need recommend bitcoin to them, but just show them what you got from it, the advantages and the profit that you have earned from bitcoin investment. I guess they will be interested with it.
6831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2015, 01:57:14 AM
well gambling will lead easy to a loss the most people try it and loose too much soo they make a new deposit trying to get all back

And after they deposit, they will lost again and never get all of the cash back. I think the motivation to gambling is not right. Just do it for fun, and never do that for revenge from your lost.

Signature Campaigns are good but don't you think that it is too time consuming and you are paid in peanuts I mean the volume of payout is not that higher and you need to invest lots of time while posting comments everyday So I believe it doesn't make that sense in investing your time in campaigns.

It sounds ridiculous when you was saying that. So why are you using signature campaign if you feel it too time consuming for you?
6832  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 16, 2015, 06:21:07 PM
It says the location will have a minimal staff to maintain the robots. So it is NOT ENTIRELY run by robots. Just mostly.

Yeah that's for now. But we don't know what will be happened in future right? If you read the post before this, you will find article "Damaged Robot Can 'Heal' Itself in Less Than 2 Minutes" by Wilikon. So, it's be possible to the machines to work alone without human employees helping in future.
6833  Economy / Gambling / Re: NBA -Basketball Picks/predictions 2 Win 1 Loses on: June 16, 2015, 06:10:40 PM
Lebron is my most favourite ball player ever so whether I'm being deluded or not I have to side with the Cavaliers.
Lebron is the MVP of the finals no matter win or lose.
Cleveland to win tonight, it'll be a really close game but I have to go with my heart & say Cleveland.
If I'm honest the Warriors should be favourites but maybe more in hope than expectatiob I side with the Cavaliers tonight.

Yes but as a gambler, we need to think logically based on statistics and history about the team. Sometimes we must face the moment when your favorite team against other team which maybe the opponent is better, and we have no idea to which side to bet. It's be hard to choose but the fans are the only one that know the ability of the team. Make sure before bet, and hope your team got winning. Honestly, in the game tonight I choose Cavaliers and hope them to beat Warriors in the remains game.
6834  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 16, 2015, 05:59:51 PM
Gold is just not useful as a currency at all. Bitcoin is far better, but if you want to hold something physical buy gold instead.

Gold is not a thing that you need to pay what you buy. So, why using gold as a currency? If you want to, sell your gold into fiat, and buy the stuff with that. Gold is the best way to do investment, because the price is more stable than bitcoin. We can't predict how the bitcoin price is in future exactly, but the gold investment that have been done for all this time prove us that gold is the best.
6835  Economy / Gambling / Re: NBA -Basketball Picks/predictions 2 Win 1 Loses on: June 16, 2015, 05:50:44 PM
Cleveland Cavaliers is LeBron James, and what the result Cavaliers will get depend on how LeBron are playing. It made Cavaliers become a not good team, and I think Cavaliers can't get winning against Warriors. I guess Cavaliers can't do anything if LeBron get injury. If a team don't have any superstars, but they can play collectively and have great teamwork, then they can be the champion.
6836  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 16, 2015, 05:40:09 PM
The robots are expensive, but the employers don't need to pay their salary every month or every week. I guess they will just do maintenance once a year, and the profit from machine is higher than the human employee. Smiley

I don't think they will be able to completely replace their human workforce with robots. May be they'll think about replacing half of the staff with them. And a normal employee costs the McDonalds around $15 per hour (that comes to around $45,000 per year). If a robot can replace 5 employees, it will save them $225,000.

Yeah McDonalds still need human to do maintenance to machines or clean it up. But, for chef and waiters positions, I think the robot can do that itself without humans or maybe everyday they need atleast 2 person to do program in the machines and as a restaurant security officer. But, we don't know exactly what will be happened to ex human employees. Lost their job and can't do anything.
6837  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 16, 2015, 07:39:35 AM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

3 bitcoins is a good deal. Have 1 for emergencies, 1 for luxuries and 1 for financial security.

It will be great if the price of 1 btc is 10000 USD, and I don't know when it will be happened. Or do you plan to retire at 2200?  Grin  I think we can't predict how many bitcoins for retire, it depends the price whether it go up or down. We must make sure the bitcoin price be stable, then you know how much do you need.
6838  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 16, 2015, 07:26:47 AM
I also hope it will bring prices down at macdonaldses in comparision with other fast food restourants.

I don't think so. Their prices are more or less reasonable. The only thing is that they should bring more quality and better hygiene to their food. May be they should use more organic food instead of all those processed items. And using robots might be expensive. The cheapest versions can cost as much as a few hundred thousand USD.

We can't expect healthy foods in the fast food restaurants. Something that is really cared by businessmen is how they can earn high profit from their business. The robots are expensive, but the employers don't need to pay their salary every month or every week. I guess they will just do maintenance once a year, and the profit from machine is higher than the human employee. Smiley

It sounds great, but is the OP not Julia Mafalda since he/her using same username here? I hope the exhibition be success and get interested by other artist or entrepreneur, so they can adopt bitcoin too in their business.
