6821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: September 21, 2015, 03:44:39 PM
Even if it is satoshi who is moving those funds... that does not mean he is really back. We want to hear from him, not just to see some blockchain transactions.

I want him to sell his coins, I'm missing those days of $2 bitcoins...

but i seriously doubt if anybody else wants to see that day come.
if you ask me, i consider $2 bitcoin the absolute death of bitcoin which there is no return. i would personally sell all my stash and never even look back and think about cryptocurrencies again.
6822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling like they should keep away? on: September 21, 2015, 03:28:28 PM
All this bad blood is making me want to keep away from the bitcoin scene for a while. Maybe go out and breathe the fresh air. Maybe this was what I needed to stay away from the BTC addiction.

all this drama is and has been a part and parcel of bitcoin. you can either ignore all of it at once and be happy about your whatever amount  of bitcoin you own or look at it as an opportunity and try to take advantage of some of the news that might have effect on bitcoin.
6823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin accepted here.. Just to not be accepted :( on: September 21, 2015, 12:12:42 PM
honestly, i don't blame them anymore. with all the bad media which surrounds bitcoin no business is going to consider bitcoin good for themselves.
and on top of that all these hacks and scams doesn't help bitcoin either. the most recent one was this huge bitpay mess-up.
Yeah it seems it's just one hurt after another when Bitcoin is highlighted in the news.  The Blockchain however is getting a more positive light.

in my opinion the blockchain news doesn't have any significant effect on bitcoin so far. because they are talking about the technology alone and how they are going to use it for their own purposes and create their own blockchain, just like an altcoin.
6824  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 21, 2015, 12:08:18 PM
for the time being even if i could spend my bitcoin buying any sort of online thing , i would be happy. for example if i could buy games directly with my bitcoin and without going through a third party and paying additional fees.

6826  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEED ADVICE] I have a Gambling Problem! on: September 21, 2015, 11:38:39 AM
People,i really don't know when to stop in gambling and to earn more and more i never stop and eventually lose it all...So i always decide that i will not gamble and only earn bitcoins but the thing is i can't stop myself from making bets and gamble daily so i want to ask here is there any way or wallet that doesn't allow me to send my bitcoins for some days? so that i can forcefully not gamble or is there any way where my bitcoins will be secured for say x days means i can't withdraw in that period
Please help me guys?

put aside an amount of bitcoin that you want to gamble and lose and i want to emphasis on the losing part, then invest that much in your favorite gambling site and gamble with that amount.
this way you will never lose more that you can afford.
and also you have to set some rules for your gamblings and always stick to them no matter what happens.
6827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: September 21, 2015, 11:36:00 AM
so far it works on me, don't know why it works on me though i know majority says it doesn't really work Cheesy maybe im just lucky and good thing i know when to stop

define works for me first. are you actually using martingale and your total profit is a positive number instead of being negative?
and more importantly how long have you been playing with this strategy. how many bets, and how much wagered?
6828  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite strategy for dice? on: September 21, 2015, 11:33:24 AM
I have found good strategy at least for now. 85% chance and increase by 900% on loss, recommended balance 0.08 BTC

i thought i had many of these strategies in dice and tried countless other strategies too. but in the end you always should remember that there comes a roll (lose streak) that you are going to lose all the bitcoin that you have earned in the past few days.
6829  Economy / Speculation / Re: No More Rocket To The Moon Ever on: September 21, 2015, 11:30:46 AM
I'd be glad to come back to this thread after the halving. Smiley It's either zero or big, and I choose to take the risk.

i bet there is going to be same stuff going on by that time too.
nothing is ever going to change. it was the same when price was $2 and these guys were talking about "bitcoin can never rise, back to $1" and others saying "to da moon"
6830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions on: September 21, 2015, 11:22:43 AM
Is this some fuc*ed up way of virus spreading?  Cheesy

exactly this.
why don't you post your predictions with enough reasoning here just like any other people that are doing it.
what is the point of this much trouble.!!
6831  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buy and hold a good investment option with price around $230 - Aug 2015 on: September 21, 2015, 11:20:31 AM
Just looking for some opinions.  I know I can make 0.5% on my cash in the bank so I'm thinking to put a small percentage into buy and hold of bitcoins.

What do people think of this as an investment holding for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years?

yes. i think what you are explaining here is a very good idea.
as you already know it is always good not to put all your eggs in one basket, so keep in mind to just invest a part of your money in bitcoin and always keep an eye on the price.
6832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 21, 2015, 11:17:37 AM
My first earning for today.

Dust profit from recently closed ponzi scheme.

you were so lucky that you didn't lose your bitcoin that you have invested. i tried one of these ponzi schemes last month which was new and i just wanted to give it a try for fun,
but they were closed the same day that i started with it Smiley
6833  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: September 21, 2015, 11:12:12 AM
No, and we shouldn't want it to be number 1. If it remains an alternative to the fiat currencies it can remain strong, pure, and independent from government. If it becomes number 1 then governments or business will seek to control it for their gain  and that will lead to the same manipulation we see with fiat currency today.
If the government wants controll they will buy hence pump btc and make users richer so no loss.

bitcoin does not belong only to one country so that a government can control it if they wish to. besides the only control they can have over bitcoin is to make it legal or illegal and also take taxes from anybody who uses bitcoin for business and that is all.
6834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the amount that every Bitcoiner should own ? on: September 20, 2015, 04:50:06 PM
if you are not looking for any sort of profit out of owning bitcoin, then i guess every person should own at least 1 whole bitcoin in his wallet just to be involved.
because you don't wanna see bitcoin rise in the future and feel not included.
6835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: September 20, 2015, 04:41:56 PM
i have recommended bitcoin to another one of my friends this weekend. i did it like the previous one, buy giving him a little bitcoin to start him off and showed him how to make a wallet.
so now he is up and running with bitcoin and loves it so far.
6836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: September 20, 2015, 04:25:15 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

that is just wring. and i don't say this because i have never used drugs in my life. first of all nobody in his / her sane mind is going to announce publicly that he/she had bought drugs. besides associating bitcoin with buying drugs is just bad.
6837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: September 20, 2015, 01:15:38 PM
i used to be quite a greedy fellow but i eventually stopped myself. i mean i would go on an on until i lost all my bankroll and then gave up just for the day and come back another day and do the same stuff.
but i thin eventually everybody is going to give it up as i did.
6838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 20, 2015, 01:03:05 PM
Gambling addiction is so hard to control or forget..

is there a way to erase gambling fully from our life?? its give me more headache than happy..usually because of bad result..

we have all been there it is an addiction and as long as you have got money in your pocket (or in this case satoshies) you can continue on gambling them away and wasting both your time and money.
but you should fight it and give it up if you want to stop your losses.
6839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Greetz from Bolivia, first lame country to prohibit use of Cryptocurrency. on: September 20, 2015, 12:46:00 PM
oh man, that is so bad. i hope here in my country the government continues on without knowing about bitcoin and any sort of cryptocurrency. because i think we are at the risk of it being banned out of pure ignorance.

anyways i wish you best of luck in Bolivia
6840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: for newbies signature campaign 2015 on: September 20, 2015, 08:10:20 AM
^^
i think it is even better not to join any signature campaign until you are junior member at least. because first of all your restrictions are less like the 6 minute restriction for posting and also more importantly you would become more familiar with the forum rules and with bitcoin in general.
