No one talks here about Carmelo Anthony parting ways with Houston Rockets.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25287539/carmelo-anthony-part-ways-rockets-playing-10-games
http://www.nba.com/article/2018/11/15/carmelo-anthony-part-ways-houston-rockets

Does anyone have an idea on where he's going to transfer after he's eligible to sign for a new contract with another team?
That player has a curse (kidding). Anyway, its a good move for the rockets management to trade Anthony to another team. Now the question is who will get him. Based on his performance this season, its obvious thay he didnt help the Rockets but he is a burden to them.
When they get rid of Carmelo they are now in a winning streak, in fact they beat the warriors today.
Melo needs to be in a worst team like the Suns so there is nothing to blame anymore.
Yeah! I've watched that game and they outscored Golden State Warriors. LOL that curse joke! haha. This will affect his rating and probably his upcoming salary based contract. I'm sure that he'll find a new home but it will be hard for him to be on the tier 1 teams.

No hate for him, I just wish him all the best. And if he finds a new home, he needs to show his true potential. I don't know the real story inside the court and bench for him. But I'm pretty sure that he will be adopted by a new team that look towards him.

I would say it as a yes. In fact the whole year of 2017 is in good faith of positiveness and that's why consider all of those months are into bull run. But for this year, don't think that there will be a bull run that will swag its horn on to the market.

Yes, I also think that this year we unfortunately will not be able to see the return of bulls to the market
This isn't the very year that we will live on, there's more years to come for cryptoverse. And there's one more expectation that's being discussed right now and that is institutional adoption. As been said, this will trigger the market to explode next year.
6824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you get latest crypto news? on: November 15, 2018, 11:04:32 PM
I have two youtube channels to watch daily.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnqJ2HjWhm7MbhgFHLUENfQ
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbLhGKVY-bJPcawebgtNfbw

They are into analysis and news though I'm not pushing you to watch them but their words are good to listen. And for crypto news, I usually check now coindesk.
6825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 100 crypto launches first dapp on: November 15, 2018, 10:35:35 PM
Is there a private blockchain now in crypto's except those blockchain that runs by a private company? At least this project is keep on developing to the point that they are giving their investors and holders the best experience that they can. Unlike those coins that are just more on sweet words but never did any single move with their development.

Anyone who downloaded that Moodada?
6826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thai’s Minister Calls For More Crypto Regulations on: November 14, 2018, 07:49:42 AM
Wow that's a good approach coming from someone from a anti-terrorism financing summit.

The realization of supervision must be voluntary by investors.
The government has to act accordingly on what they can see if there's something that will threat and harm their people, not only physical but also financially. I don't see anything wrong with what he said as crypto's are anonymous except the centralized ones.

Made it up to the 9th place. not a bad place for me, though I lose some amount of coins trying to get on the leaderboard. I thought someone was gonna do last minute big bets and all my effort will end up to nothing. Congrats to all the users on the leaderboard. Until the next competition Smiley
That's surprising that up to the last minute you managed to land up to 9th place, congratulations to you zupdawg!

Congratulations to the other winners too.
6828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to make the crypto acceptance universal. on: November 14, 2018, 06:55:22 AM
I feel that you really want that badly, btw where are you from? with those countries that you mentioned, are living on one of it? Making these countries crypto-friendly isn't that easy as you think. Even the strongest marketers won't make it happen because all the decision depends on the government.

Everyone wants to contribute for each country to be crypto friendly but it requires a lot of things before it'll happen.

I agree. Legitimacy depends on the government therefore this is very difficult to predict today  because we can see how the government reacts to the current situation. Everyone who is crypto enthusiasts wanted  universal acceptance but then we need to do something too, aside from spreading nonsense thoughts.
Few chosen countries are very welcoming to crypto's and they give privilege to it and even considered to a create a law so crypto people would have a guidelines to follow while in their country.

Adoption is inevitable like we are in this world that's fully dependent to technologies now. Crypto's are digital money that everyone would love to use because of its very unique feature and solving a lot of problems that we are currently facing. We will be there, soon.
6829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Santoshi lurking on Bitcointalk forum? on: November 14, 2018, 06:34:10 AM
I only know this account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=summary , I think this is true Satoshi, it's just that the account has been inactive since 2010. I don't know about the amount of BTC that Satoshi has, but no matter how much it doesn't matter, because Satoshi deserves it.
Yes that's the account of satoshi and its legit account see the UID, it's "3". Means its the 3rd account created in the forum. He already left the forum for years and we don't know where he is now.

Can't find the said wallet of satoshi but you can search that there were articles that estimated he owns roughly 900,000 - 1,000,000 BTC. And he's even listed on forbes as the 247th richest person in the world.
6830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptocurrency the “Petro” on: November 14, 2018, 05:51:24 AM
No. Inflation on Venezuela is too high and no one is also taking Petro coin as their investment and though it has been backed by the government its worth is nothing. People don't want to take this even a "government" is backing it.

Why? they are in crisis and that's why people aren't taking anything that's being supported by the government there.  If you all have heard the news that this coin is about to be dead soon, no serious interest on it.
6831  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should be done to support newbies? on: November 14, 2018, 05:24:47 AM
Direct them to Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ so they would know the do's and don't of the forum, the house rules.

It only requires them to read for about 10-20 minutes just to know the basics including plagiarism and other common mistakes a newbie do.
6832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best online wallet for bitcoin? on: November 13, 2018, 09:25:30 AM
Can you please tell me what is the best bitcoin for my phone? I heard about Monarch wallet is this good mobile for bitcoin?
What type of wallet is that? I never heard about this wallet. For mobile wallets there is coinomi[1], you can also use blockchain.com[2] mobile app and the most recommended electrum[3].

6833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Projects on: November 13, 2018, 09:01:16 AM
Gone are the days where new coins or new project are trustworthy. Today, new projects is a place for scammers and people have learned the fact that no one wanted to invest with them anymore. There's nothing wrong if the investors are taking care of themselves with such projects.

For trust it will be always for 10 top coinmarketcap
There are couple of coins that shouldn't be trusted within the range of top 10 coins. If you say that its only the basis of what are the trustworthy coin, then everyone invested to it already but no. As you see if you will analyze few of those coins, people are off with some of those coins.
6834  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bad "good" news. on: November 13, 2018, 04:33:34 AM
Friends, the news background on the crypto market has been very active lately, and in a rather positive way, but not every good news is true.
And as a reader you should also identify what's genuine and not. Having a good news means its good so I don't think there's something behind what you are pointing with these words.

How does this affect your investments and strategy on the market? How to protect against fakes?
I'm not buying with any fake news anymore. Before I'm so gullible with some news that are giving bad reputation to the market and it means a sell off will come to me. And to protect against fake news, rely only to those websites that has reputation in reporting events and making news.
6835  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which forum sections allow ICO advertising? on: November 13, 2018, 03:44:38 AM
[1] Altcoins ANN thread, Announcements (Altcoins).
There's also a child board for this section which is the Tokens (Altcoins).

Why not give appropriate info on what you are about post? is that an ANN, a bounty, job related post? But if its on your mind that you want someone to advertise your ICO throughout the forum with each post, it isn't allowed.

Even the strongest marketers won't make it happen because all the decision depends on the government.

Everyone wants to contribute for each country to be crypto friendly but it requires a lot of things before it'll happen.
For example, I live in Ukraine. And it seems to me that for Ukraine it is much harder to implement. Although in my country many people already use cryptocurrency and they like it
Okay for example, Ukraine isn't the only country that has a lot of crypto supporters but the government doesn't say any single word about their stand to it, if they are good and will support it or not but as long as there is no word found from them and remained neutral, crypto folks can proceed with their trades.

The government will notice it if there's a big community found on their jurisdiction for crypto's and after studying if its reliable then all of those things that you want to happen for the sake of crypto, will happen a little by little.

We seem to have a new leader!
Woooooooooooah! that's quick.

Aqp7 do really aim to be at the top spot and I think he can wager more if he needs to do it. Akbar12 seems to be inactive and his wager don't move at all. But if he decides to wager more this is going to be a tough few hours left for both.

Apq7 has taken the top spot I knew it this was always bound to happen, If Akbar decides to continue wagering, it'll spice up the contest, and if a third contender comes along it'll be huge. I have said it before and I'll repeat it all the spots are open, we saw today even the no 1 spot being changed, so if you're waiting for a sign this is it. All the best people can't wait to see the end results, preety sure the table will have many new changes at the end.
He is inactive and I don't think a third contender would come, the two spots are tough but I guess this is a sure win for aqp7.
6838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is keeping your hands out from the current market situation saves your profit? on: November 13, 2018, 01:47:46 AM
Is it safe not to do trades, and investment as of this moment to ensure that no possible loss coming?
Safe for you if you are not comfortable during this moment. But there's no assurance that you can flee from your losses, your current standing still depends on how much you bought those coins compare to the base and current price of those coins.

Quote
Is keeping your hands out from the current market situation saves your profit?
You can keep of your hands and get out of the market for awhile but you can't be sure if your losses will be restrain unless the market recovers after the down. For weak hands, you should stay away and consider if you want to add and buy back or not.
6839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts coin vs BTC on: November 12, 2018, 12:39:11 PM
So, I just think that bitcoin time has come. It's so old coin, which lost his past power and slowly dies and going low. 2019 year would be good for altcoins, so, you should to invest now.
What's the connection of bitcoin if its old enough? bitcoin will never get old and won't die that easily. Where did you get that news that bitcoin is slowly dying? if its slowly dying then it isn't sitting on $6k level today.

This only means that you are an altcoiner holder or majority of your coins are alts. Someone who holds bitcoin with his portfolio will defend bitcoin and while altcoin holders will tell everything bad that has no basis about bitcoin.
