6821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: September 06, 2021, 05:00:12 PM
In my opinion, the excitement around cryptocurrency has not even reached its middle. Interest in it increases every year, but it cannot take off in a minute like a space rocket. This is a long process of getting used to a new reality for a large number of people. Take a moment, buy the best coins at a low price and time will tell who was right.
You said it on the spot mate. It hasn't reached the top of it and there will be more but it has to go a little slow at this phase. But having bitcoin reaches back to $51k is good and quite quick.
The fact that many people are becoming interested in crypto makes the hype isn't over yet, there will be more from the market itself and we'll see how long it does have to take for the next phase of this bull run.
6822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 06, 2021, 11:40:38 AM
Guys, if you don't want troubles you should never withdraw from an exchange to a gambling site and vise versa. It can be allowed today, and tomorrow you'll encounter such a headache during the process, like I did a couple months ago, which I wouldn't wish on anyone. I mean, in the past it was easy, I've done it many times, and I did it in the beginning of this year even, but from my own experience, and from what I read on this forum - don't do it.
Well, that's really true. Before this exchange isn't really showing these messages despite it's on their tos. I guess there's the pressure from the governing agency that they have to be stricter since there are those people that have been taking advantage of this and do launder money.
It's better not to do it, this exchange is really the most popular exchange in our country and that's why they're also tightening their precautions towards such activities that are against their tos. Users can no longer reason out if they still do this.
6823  Economy / Economics / Re: Tulip Mania 2.0 on: September 06, 2021, 10:09:55 AM
They can't accept the fact that bitcoin is becoming one of the greatest assets if not, as a store of value. As for NFTs, it's like the ICO craze a few years ago and likely it's really in a bubble that might burst soon. But with bitcoin, they just have to move on and accept what's on it and have to understand the basic technicality of it that having a limited supply and an activity, the halving which creates a cycle and lessens the reward for miners, in short will create a greater value and pricing for bitcoin in the upcoming years.
6824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be too desperate to make earning on: September 06, 2021, 09:20:32 AM
Being desperate cannot help us earn. In fact it can make us loss because we cannot make a proper plan because of the desperation that we fell.
It will help every individual that struggles. Being desperate gives us the encouragement that we should do better but with trading, this is a hard thing to apply. There's no shortcut to becoming a successful trader and that's why we have to learn from that desperation as it fuels you and motivates you to do better when you're in a bad situation and want to make it better and get out of it.

The only thing that we need to do specially when we are desperate or when we arein loss is to keep calm and have some rest for good there is always another day to start again.
It includes being calm and that's what those desperate people has to remember. Just because they're in a bad situation, they have to remain calm so that they can trade properly and think wisely.
6825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An alternative to Coinbase outside of US on: September 05, 2021, 11:55:38 PM
Well, unfortunately Binance doesn't support US traders, otherwise that would be my choice.
Did you already saw the US version of binance? they're particular with their customers for that domain as it's dedicated for US customers.

How about kucoin? this blog might help you how to buy through their exchange.

6826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recovery Mode activated on: September 05, 2021, 11:24:47 PM
After a massive bear run that shake the market in May this year which could be similar to the 2017 market crash. have you been able to recover your loss?
I don't think that it's actually a massive bear run that we've experienced, it's far from being that. Well that's at least based on my opinion. I don't have that much loss even it happened because most of my holdings were bought before the bull run started last year.

what is percentage of loss have you recovered since the market is gradually returning back to normal. we can not rule out another downfall.
for me, i have only recovered 30- 40 % of my loss.
It is good to know that you've recovered almost half of your loss and you'll recover more of it soon and will have your profit. I'm still good even if the market plummets again but I would say that I'm liking more that the fact bitcoin is recovering again and might go back to its former ATH.
6827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: September 05, 2021, 10:58:08 PM
If you look at the current market situation, it is certain that the bulls have returned as most of the altcoins have experienced very good growth.  although the increase in each coin has not been maximized but I believe this positive trend will continue until every altcoin gets its ATH back.
Anyone who's not yet convinced that the bulls are back then they should start looking at the price of bitcoin. We've got a continuous increase on it. Some delays have happened but it had stayed to $50k and above it. Like how much it is right now, this is how we're telling everyone that the bulls are back when the price has increased again. And as for the altcoins, there have been a lot of those that have also a price hike for which they usually happen whenever bitcoin is also at high.
6828  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest my 10,000 USD on: September 05, 2021, 10:38:18 PM
What if you buy bitcoin weekly with $1,000. Do the DCA strategy since we're at the top and most likely someone who's knowledgeable about the market won't just drop that whole $10k that you've unless you're a corporation that has a long term vision and can go as long as they can with huge amount. I'll split the amount with bitcoin and ethereum, despite the fees to be high in Ethereum, still it's a good investment and you just look at the cycle and history. If you want to invest now, just be aware of the possible dump that might happen anytime.
6829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 05, 2021, 10:13:18 PM
The influence that others can do to those that are not yet gamblers is big. Just like me, if it's not with those people that I've used to watch play card games and with money on it, I won't be curious enough to learn what they're playing. Even if I'm just a kid watcher by that time, I've learned the mechanics of those card games that they've used to play and until I've learned other gambling games too. That's the sad part especially the kids that have been prone to those gamblers, they're likely to have the same experience as me and will grow up as a gambler and hopefully, they'll control themselves.

i guess a lot here have the same story as yours. at a young age, you will really get involve in gambling if people around you are in gambling. the most common game that we will see is this card game. as a kid, you will really get curious how things are working with them because some can sit for hours and hours just to satisfy their desires in gambling. so if you have kids at home, and you don't want them to try any gambling game yet, better start observing the routine of the adults, should not hold any card game or any type of gambling when they are around.
Yes, if you're in a community or neighborhood where it's mostly your relatives that are surrounding you. You'll have that time that you have to do what they also do because it is what you see everyday. That's why as a kid, you have no choice but to watch them since they're mostly doing that everyday. Even if your parents will advise you not to play that game, you'll still be able to watch and learn by just being a bystander whenever they play card games and other games that they gamble with on that place.
6830  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: September 05, 2021, 05:34:41 PM
Since the price of BTC has gotten to $49k, show that anyone that have faith to hold right now will smile before the end of this month.
Don't just aim at the end of this month, there's still a lot of months to be considered and if you have made yourself decide as a holder, it's not just by the end of the year but the next years are going to be the next interesting and major attraction for bitcoin. Because for sure the adoption becomes wider and more people invest on it.
Now, if more people will invest in it in the following years then bitcoin value will grow more as well as its adoption will be more developed too. So investing today even with the current high price is still a good idea as long as you will keep bitcoin for long term. There may be price fall back along the way but we know for sure that bitcoin will never stay in its dip price and will eventually recover again.

Bitcoin investment is definitely one of its kind. You will never find as profitable as bitcoin so invest in it as much as you want and hodl it for a long span of time for sure profits.
It will increase in price and its value will keep on growing for the next years. And that's why if you're aiming to own a bitcoin, you should continually accumulate as many as you can. Do everything that you can like dollar-cost averaging because it's a very effective strategy. You don't have to own a whole bitcoin but just keep buying with any amount that you can until you reach a certain amount that you'll set for yourself. There is a bright future with bitcoin and it has changed a lot of lives already and will change more.

6832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: September 05, 2021, 02:48:59 PM
Back in 4 years ago, yes it was an investment but in my opinion now, it is more like a store value .
It has changed and more likely the upcoming years, we're going to treat our bitcoins as a store of value. Whether it is an investment or store of value, it portrays both of it and any other type of asset that you want to categorize it.

There are now a small room to increase. Not a x100 anymore. More so like x4 - x9 ish. It is still better option to hold against inflation and diminishing purchasing power.
Yes, with the pandemic, many countries have added more percentage to their yearly inflation due to most of them got a bad economy because of the outbreak. And those investors that are silently looking for a way to avoid that inflation or hedge against it, bitcoin is the best option.
6833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin pro tool on: September 05, 2021, 07:27:45 AM
How about being a bitcoin pro HODLER?  Grin
If that's the case then many of us are also pro HODLER since we've been holding bitcoin for a long time because we're all looking forward to the future of it. The higher price that shall happen within the next years to come and it will break 6 digits. But honestly, the technical side of being a bitcoin 'pro', they're mostly programmers, developers and people with in depth knowledge about blockchain.
6834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach 10k? on: September 05, 2021, 06:23:36 AM
Can Ethereum really reach 10k?
And if yes, when can it reach 10k?
No one can tell you what's the exact date and time when it shall happen. We're all having that the same thought that Ethereum can really reach $10k anytime soon. That's what we can be sure of and if not, then that's just another dream to happen for Ethereum soon. But as of this time, we can just depend on its updates and with the continuous effect of London hard fork, things such as this expectation can really happen soon in the future.

Ethereum is at 4k currently.
And it will have to stay there for sometime but as it goes back to $4k again, it has to make it as its new support.
6835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Ethereum keep rising while Bitcoin on a stable mode on: September 04, 2021, 11:36:51 PM
It also includes the other altcoins pair with Ethereum. But with such news about Ethereum including the 2.0, the continuous burning per transaction. Those that have bitcoin also consider buying Ethereum because it's all about how bullish and profitable is that.

Altcoins usually begin to grow fast after bitcoin becomes stable after nice growing period. Money moves from fiat to BTC and then to altcoins. If the altcoin season is long enough, even weak and crappy coins begin to shoot.

That's right, the most money that is coming into the market is from fiat and then converted to bitcoin as usual. Then there's the pair goes for BTC/eth which is true with what OP has said.
6836  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: September 04, 2021, 10:56:19 PM
First of all, Bitcoin price doesn't always go up as we all know.
That's known but in the long term view, it's really expected to go up.

It starts going up generally when there is a good rally or a bull run. Let's say that the price is always going up. In that case, there are still two types of people whose usage purposes are totally different. Or there are three types of people. Some people only like to trade their Bitcoin in exchanges or HODL their coins. Some people like to use Bitcoin only when they decide to buy something. And some other people like to do these things both at the same time.
We're mostly all of those types, when the price is good, we're about to take profits and use it to buy something that we want to. But it all ends up to the one category or type, that most of us who have bitcoin, we're all holders. We are all believing that there's a greater future that waits for bitcoin and we're all sharing the same faith that the price will eventually increase to the price that we are expecting to see. Like with most of the predictions today, high price is literally becoming normal for someone's expectation if it's bitcoin.

I also noticed that both DYIP and NLEX won their first 2 games,

They are really performing well and seem really serious about their campaign. Without Ravena, the chemistry is
quite impressive as they are showing determination and aggressiveness to win the game,

while with Phoenix, Wright continues to struggle, but today, there's no one who can step up and carry the team
unlike the last game, they snatched the game and win.
DYIPs performance and the win were historical. They've never won against the Gin Kings and now they've won with a lot of attraction from Tiongson.
This gives them the confidence that shall boost them for the next matches that they'll have, next will be Black Water.
6838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 04, 2021, 09:42:44 PM
Thanks for the warning.

Coins.ph is one of the biggest wallets/exchanges and just goes to show how dangerous all hosted wallets can be.

Use something like Electrum, it's just as easy to use but you retain all ownership of the private keys. Much safer and you won't be subject to the scrutiny and prying eyes of the government when it comes to your gambling pastime.
For bitcoin transactions, yes, it's always good to go with wallets like Electrum and if your balance is on the exchange, you have to make it through Electrum just to avoid sending directly from any exchange. They've become stricter this time due to the regulations that are happening.

I'm sure with that kind of prompt and anyone who is aware that gambling using the coins.ph is illegal will never proceed, it's a prevention not to be in serious trouble in the future, therefore what OP shared is very useful, anyone who put a gambling platform as the recipient has no idea about the law pertaining to this and therefore not aware of the consequences.
Yes, and that's not just for gambling but on the user agreement, there are many types of transactions that are prohibited to happen if you are transacting with the use of their wallet. Some users might not be aware of those and they keep proceeding until they've been flagged by coins.
6839  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: September 04, 2021, 09:11:29 PM
It is time to hold bitcoin because the attitude the bitcoin price is developing, show that the price is about to hit $100k soon. Since the price of BTC has gotten to $49k,
And with the current move, it keeps coming back to $50k and soon we'll be confident to say that the support is going to be $50k which is halfway to the considered peak that we'll about to see by the end of the year and that is $100k.

As you have said if there were many investors that have bought during the IEO at a discounted price. All of them are only waiting for the right price to dump and you'll likely be catching the falling knives. You are aware of what you're trying to do in here, I'm not an IEO investor but someone who invests and trades can basically see that coming and a good thing you did is to ask what others think if we're in your situation. If I'm on your shoe, I'll just wait until it dips and will rebuy if I still believe and have faith in that coin.
