6821  Economy / Reputation / Re: DTs position Vs accounts/email/socialmedia accounts sellers/boosts on: January 23, 2019, 12:00:56 PM
Most of the account "boosting" services are scams anyway. Noobs fall for them because they are greedy for a high ranked account on fortnite but are not willing to go through the grind by working it out hard. Same with bitcointalk accounts : buying an account means buying the rank which is according to me a transgression and an attempt at future scam because of trades done/social association with other people. This would go out for for other media accounts as well if you ask me.

Just for understand you pow, because i don't want to breack any rules
Account selling is not against the rules. But it is frowned upon. Make that clear in your head.

I'm try to sell my freebitco.in account because i dont use it anymore.  Account is mine, no personale data are involeved (only an email address is needed for create an account) , and if someone will be available to buy it , we will go only trought an escrow and i will sign a message from old deposit addresses.

I'm legitimete to sell it or i risk red tag? Please advise me , because i'm available to delete my annuncement if this break your rules!
Listen to what your conscience says. Even if you get tagged you are newbie here and thus I am sure you will make a new account to participate this forum. But I would not tell you to do that at all.

Thats basically how most scammers operate in this forum. Make alts and farm them to ultimately exit scam someone. Then come back with a totally different persona. I wish theymos would have IP and device checks on this site for scammers but thats not going to happen because the forum does not moderate scams unlike other forums.
6822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: January 23, 2019, 09:06:19 AM
This is a great idea for keeping the sell order instead of losing more value in the market. I don't see there is an option stop-loss option in the present exchanges. So we need to calculate ourselves and start planning them by keeping sell orders.
You can observe the sell and buy walls are obtain an idea about the current trend. It keeps changing because news are being released and paid manipulation is also there.

However which orders to keep and which not to keep is also a tough choice to make. This needs practice and without trading in real one cannot understand the in and out of such orders. Setting a stop-loss is good but then waiting it out is also a good thing. You dont want to lose your coins at the wrong instant because someone told you to dump them. Thats being dumb.
6823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: January 23, 2019, 09:02:52 AM
I don't think we can limit the purpose of gambling in only that two things, for example your case that you are not a lonely person or a dissatisfied person. many people who have fun goals end up addicted because they have the habit of playing here
I would say those who dont have a proper job and have nothing else to think about lead to their brains becoming dull and the devils playground. This makes them take wrong decisions and wanting to make money the easy way without working leads to gambling. This may be associated with a loneliness and dissatisfaction but those things dont fuel the urge to gamble. It can be the opposite too but that is I guess still a good topic for research.

In general a more excited state leads to more gambling and not the opposite.
6824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Requesting a review on a few cloud mining providers! on: January 22, 2019, 08:55:16 AM
Do not believe in any cloud mining provider due to the number of positive reviews. They are paid and often inaccurate, biased and opinionated. You should not form conclusion about any service from reviews. In fact this is true for all sorts of products. Paid reviews are seen in almost every service today.

As far as cloud mining is concerned, most of them dont do any mining and are actually running a pyramid scheme making them a HYIP/MLM which will crash at some point and then the site will say "we are having maintenance"/ "we got hacked" and then one day that domain gets sold off and not a trace in the internet is left except crying investors who put their money in those sites and complained in forums like this one.

Where you should or should not put your money in is not my concern but this is what I have seen being with the crypto space for some time. Legit Cloud mining is done by very few companies.

For a good idea about scam cloud mining sites you can visit : http://www.badbitcoin.org/ The sites you listed are not yet listed in the badlist there but its updated everyday and you might want to keep a look. You will find older scam sites there as well. So its a good tool for reference and research.
6825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must we always Preach about Bull Markets? on: January 22, 2019, 08:44:22 AM
That's how things go unfortunately. It's the same with cloud mining, where so many members here warn newbies about the risks and how it's NOT profitable, yet they invest in cloud mining anyway.
The newbies fall for the confidence scam that these projects employ. They target the niche of new coiners and promote their project for huge gains. Its sad that the name of crypto is being smeared by such scum.

People need to get burned before they understand that cloud mining is wrong, some times even more than once. I'm glad that the amount of YouTubers shilling coins or platforms has decreased significantly last year.
As long as that wannabe get rich quick attitude remains more and more people will get burned. Same happens in the ICO scams and since there is no regulation of such assets there is the rampancy of such events.

The bear market made a lot of them delete their content and leave YouTube. I remember having read an article last year where the SEC would do more to combat them, which I very much welcome.
Agreed. The bear market had a good effect that such low-lifes took down their content but it will not be of anything good for those who lost money. As older members of this forum we must preach about the right and wrong to stop new members from falling prey of such scams.
6826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money with bitcoin price dropping? on: January 22, 2019, 08:37:19 AM
I think you use momentum strategy to get income, no big deal but I'm afraid every momentum has different impact ( not always same ). Use momentum strategy need big money and fundamental analysis to get good analysis. I'll not teach you about it but how about you try it by your self and see what happen. Not always work but you can learn something.
It not always possible to short and get a profit so there needs to be a wait and watch strategy for traders as well. I know it does not sound like a strategy but if you apply it during the bear market you can do recon without having to lose money. Shorting should be done by those who are experts in the technical analysis and not something that I would suggest a newbie to know except for academic purposes.

Indeed if you are borrowing money to short coins you are posing a risk of getting bankrupt as well.
6827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 22, 2019, 08:34:03 AM
It makes sense, when we gamble, we waste time, but we spend that time enjoying ourselves and waiting for something incredible, because every gambler lives.
If you try to do anything else you will essentially be losing time. Time does not discriminate you from doing one thing or other. But the thing you are spending time on does matter. Gamblers who profit from the casino dont call it a waste of time. Those who are owning the casino are not wasting their time and also those who are doing some sort of affiliate marketing for the casino. In other words there is a good thing in everything but we dont realize it often.

Maybe it should be moderate with the time we spend gambling.
Precisely what most people who are addicted to gambling fail to do properly.
6828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market is recovering or just adjusting to the price . news on: January 21, 2019, 02:55:35 PM
These are just small changes like we see everyday. There's nothing different particularly, in this level of price change, there have been bigger changes before.
We should remind ourselves that prices only determine the supply and demand ratio and the raging war between bulls and bears. People speculate over the prices and they tend to be volatile. This is true for every market where speculation of the future price is present. Based on this we also have futures markets.

It crashed from 6k and now is recovering. But there are people who are bearish and selling and not allowing bulls to take over. There is nothing to be fearful about that. It will eventually rise when the bulls stop or they run out of options.

It cannot be called major changes that really shifted the market from the dead point. These are the usual fluctuations that occur almost every day. Therefore, we should not attach great importance to this. Just keep holding your coins.
Major changes would have had a bigger social media explosion. Nothing much has happened till now since last year which can be called such.
6829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 Things Traders Must Do To Be Successful on: January 21, 2019, 08:15:25 AM
I see lot of traders get loss on their money even they use lot's of strategies doesn't work for them. So its better to take a advantage with those mistakes.
See there are traders who realize their mistakes and there are traders who continue to make those mistakes. It often leads to continuous losses one after the other as the person becomes stubborn and fails to rectify them. Hopefully they will and soon change their methods. Its important to be dynamic in being a trader.

Not every asset will give you good returns everyday so something a bit of off-period and putting time to other things helps them cope up with the boredom which I feel is often the cause of anxiety and leads to mistakes in placing orders.
6830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: January 21, 2019, 07:39:34 AM
Yes I can resist myself being addicted to the play by niw and hopefully I can control my willingness to bet within my limits in the future too.If you really love to get adrenaline the play low bets and get the feeling of excitement for too long.
The rush is addicting for sure. You can feel the palpitations when the high multipliers are hit and you feel your fingers go numb and ears blocked. Setting up a stop limit is a good thing to keep a control on these. You would not want to "overdo" is because thats what leads to addiction. Once you get a medium to large sized win you should stop.

Keeping a log record of what you win what you lose will also be good. It does not need to be discrete but a daily profit or loss amount should give you an idea whether you are wasting time and money or making it.
6831  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: January 21, 2019, 07:35:41 AM
I think it won't. Eventhough is not yet well adopted by the world. Many people are using, investing and trading bitcoin. Many people believes in bitcoin. That's why it wont fall into ground that easily.
That makes the crypto market volatile and active at the same time. The belief in bitcoin is there because of its properties and the advantages it has over other modes of transactions. Falling to the ground is way offlimits because there are people who are bagholding and are going to buy more if the prices drop.

You think people will stop if bitcoin price reaches 3digits? They will buy loads off the market because they know the potential in it for future and a past experience of having missed out.
6832  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about merit system on: January 20, 2019, 10:49:13 AM
I see so many people that they still doesn't have merit with more than 100 activity or some people have more than 300 activity but they haven't even 5 merit. I think at least they deserve to be a member rank.
So my suggestion is very simple: exchange our activity with Merit.
So they can be at least a member rank.

So this means people will invest in raising their activity and then use it gain merits. This would no different from the previous system where only activity was the yardstick for ranking up any account. Merit was introduced to stop farming these account to rank up ultimately ending up in signature spammers or being sold.

Merit does what was it was intended to do. Give a recognition to the people who contribute. The only problem here is that merit sources dont visit boards that are active with redundant posting.

Feel free to keep this thread open and people are going to troll you even more.
6833  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat, Banks and the future of Cryptocurrencies on: January 20, 2019, 08:50:12 AM
I think banks won't be able to do that. because most banks are now made up of entrepreneurs' capital and they have no power to decide to destroy a big market like crypto. I think they have only one way: close cooperation between blockchain technology and banks.
Banks are made like that but dont forget that big money holders are also gradually entering into cryptocurrencies and are enthusiastic about them. This makes it bullish surely but that does not mean that the banking system will stop. It will be there and more partnerships will happen which leads to adoption of blockchain based technology.

In the future blockchain tech will be something of a force to be reckoned with and maybe the governments would allow legally transacting bitcoin. Very bullish so to speak. Grin
6834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: January 20, 2019, 08:45:06 AM
we have to still believed to this market till goverment legalize bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.although it will take long time dont lose our confidence about it.ten years ayo we face the same condition too.
You need to stop shitposting for a bit and learn better English to be able to post without blabbering incoherent words.
Governments wont legalize crypto. Its supposed to be a cultish thing and will remain like that for years. Though looking at the attendees at the World Blockchain Summit I was pretty impressed seeing that crypto was able to unite cultures and people of different generations crossing all international borders. Even then investors should care more about the money they have and less about how much the bear market has effect on the projects. Its a bad time for the ICO projects but there will be good times as well.
6835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETF Decision make a negative impact? on: January 20, 2019, 08:41:24 AM
yes, I am afraid, this will bring huge negative impact on crypto industry and market.
It already did have a negative impact when the markets crashed previously though I still doubt it was only because of ETF denial/delay. This gave new strength to the bears and we saw what happened to the market as it crashed from 6k back to 3k and now roving around the 3.7k mark. How much people are enthusiastic about future seems to be less important to the people than the short term gains.

This is not what I expect from the hodler community and its sad to see things escalate like this. You all are supposed to be hodl through thick and thin without caring about ETF approval.
6836  Other / Meta / Re: Should trust be moderated? (Poll) on: January 19, 2019, 07:06:49 PM
Looking from both sides of the coin you will soon realize that trust being moderated is similar to turning the DT to a hub of scammers with nobody to speak against those colluding or those protecting the scammers. There needs to be people who call out the possible darksided members as well with proper evidence obviously.

What can be done is a modification like reduction in the weight-age of trust ratings left by people who are long gone from the site. This is based on the idea that these red trusted throwaway accounts wont ever come back when making more drama. In a few years the "effect" (if you "feel" it has any) would degrade.

In the meantime you should put these sockpuppets in your ignore list. Wink
6837  Economy / Lending / Re: loan 0.7 btc please help on: January 19, 2019, 01:04:25 PM
give me please loan 0.7bitcoin  to buy miner
Why dont go to the bank and tell them that you need some money to buy a new hardware? They will believe you but not give you any response unless you pledge something valuable. If you are willing to start mining you should be having an idea of risk vs reward or maybe you are too dumb to even comprehend that.

returnet after 250 day
Fact that you cant even speak proper English makes me wonder if actually have any guts to go to bank. Sucks to be you literally. Grin
6838  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: January 19, 2019, 10:27:44 AM
As majority of the users mentioned, I too feel this to be the right time to make an investment into bitcoin. As the price of bitcoin is found low compared to its peak value, investing at this moment and having patience will get the best profit long term.
But the mistake people do is that they end up buying when its at the all time high. Like for instance do you see social media buzz around bitcoin or altcoins in the news or twitter or facebook? No because bitcoin price is not high right now and nobody knows about it anymore. This is the effect of manipulated prices pumping the media full of news thus pumping it even more.

The big mistake is that people buy at the all-time-high and not at the low. So this is indeed a good time buy than wait. Moreover the ones who are holding should be emboldened about it because it is the weeding out time for the wannabes and not nerve-strong hodlers.
6839  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin even work in our current system? on: January 19, 2019, 09:08:59 AM
It sounds like the current system is heavily flawed and easily manipulable. If the economy is stimulated by people taking out loans, then it sounds like it can burst at any moment.
Banks work by giving out loans and people feed banks with loans because they need money. People dont get paid properly - how long do we have to listen to this? Its relevant from the time humans existed. People are never happy with anything given to them and will continue to call every system bad. Even a bitcoin based economy, if that ever comes in future will face the same problem.

The difference lies somewhere else. Its in the human mind being biased about themselves and those who are self-righteous thinking they have the VIP-benefits. This wont be solved by bitcoin is itself. It needs more discipline in the minds and a strict legal system.
6840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the right time to explain about bitcoin to others..? on: January 19, 2019, 09:04:20 AM
First now the price on the market is quite low, and if you explain that the price has fallen very deep maybe they will immediately know the risks in crypto investment. it's much better than he knows at the end, and it's good if they see the price progress that will gradually rise
We may be able to find out people who would be willing to put in their money into the market during the bear trend. There are people who are looking for this opportunity. Though the future is still grey in some places, for bitcoin though there is always a bright future. We have witnessed what happened to people who tried to break the system, so called bitcoin-gods like Rog Ver and his shills. They did that for their own gains and propaganda.

We should teach the good things and bad things about bitcoin and let people make their own decisions and conclusions. That would lead to a healthy growth of the crypto space.
