yes, you are right but there are some of the altcoins that do not get the effect from bitcoin price. and if bitcoin price is up or down, this altcoin is just stayed in the price level and only up and down if there are many people wants to invest this coin. but for the other coins will follow wherever bitcoin price goes and will adjust their price with bitcoin price too. and it is because bitcoin is lead the altcoin in cryptocurrency world and bitcoin itself is moving because of supply and demand and the news is out there.

I don't know but maybe bitcoin cash needs a long time before it can take place of bitcoin. people still choose bitcoin in the first place in the coinmarketcap and they don't see that another coin that can take the place of bitcoin. but if bitcoin cash can show another value that different than bitcoin maybe people will choose bitcoin cash as the leader. but so far, people still stay with bitcoin and they really make a big money from bitcoin.

it is better to stay away from the ICO if you don't have any good information for each ICO because this will makes you lose your money. you don't have to participate on any ICO and it's better to stick with what you do right now. but you can find the news from each ICO from many websites including in bitcointalk so you know which ICO that you are interested and you want to join with the ICO. we cannot always find the best time to sell high because the price can go to the high price without any notice and we don't know the time to sell. the only things that we can do are just placing an order sell in the price that we want and we let it sell by automatically. but sometimes this does not work because the price cannot reach the price that we want and we need to wait for another time. I think we cannot see when the last bitcoin is mined because it still too long to wait it will happen and maybe our descendants that will see and use bitcoin.
