6841  Economy / Lending / Re: Want 1 BTC Loan for Gambling on: January 11, 2019, 06:39:49 PM
My business : I'm pro gambler, I 'm the specialist of the roulette, I will bet  1 btc on the zero and make   36 BTC and give you 10 BTC, im a professional ,I already done that many time
If you have already done that "many" times why not just do it once again? Grin You surely have some cash to spare and if you dont why bother asking for a loan on a forum like bitcointalk?

You can just walk up to your bank and tell them that you need some cash because you have some Fullproof (& Foolproof) method of making money for a casino without making the casino go bankrupt. That some good example of successful parasitism << obviously you are too dumb to know that actually means.

The lows some people can attempt to go to for couple of coins. Roll Eyes

6843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: January 11, 2019, 08:40:59 AM
BCH is not a threat to bitcoin. They should rename this BITCOIN CRASH....Biggest roller coaster out there in the Crypto world! Roger Ver  has serious scam records for a years
Rog ver is a liar who lied about BCH being the real bitcoin and claimed to be the biggest bitcoin "god" out there. He does not understand the nature of cryptocurrencies and has no feeling for its ideology.

If the Bcash shills would actually do some research and stop being brainwashed they would also know the truth. But honestly if they even realize the truth they are still doomed because they took the koolaid and kept on buying BCH when it was down just to pump their bags. Now even if they know that Rog Ver misled them they have nowhere to go and nothing to get out through.

It sure sucks to be one of them Grin
6844  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: January 11, 2019, 08:35:04 AM
as an example today is Venezuela, where there is a severe crisis, so their fiat currency is worthless. then they use crypto for a solution. indeed, this time has not shown results, but I think that the country will prosper if the price of bitcoin soars. and this is also what the bitcoiners expect, waiting faithfully to give hope later
You are using Venezuela as an example but there are more FUD news regarding it than good news. Only natives of that country would be able to say whether it is having a good impact or bad impact. We have seen how to economists of the world have explained the situation to become worse with crypto but it may have been just speculation.

A crypto-based economy is a longshot idea even today. In a economic crash the source of buying or selling crypto is again fiat currency so they will lose value as well. Its not going to be a opposite side movement but a same side movement.
6845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: January 11, 2019, 08:30:33 AM
If one could have predict the top and bottom he/she could be the richest trader. I believe this is the right time to purchase and hold coins.
Thats true but thats also their luck. They were lucky to get into something that would become big in future so they did enter into it. But then there are big fails as well. Those who put in huge amounts of money into some altcoins but they could never break even. In that sense it becomes a bit of gambling as well.

Quote
If you have already bought some coins and those are giving you 15% loss , do not get panic such short dd is unavoidable during trend, wait for the market to recover.
This is relevant in todays price chart. Bitcoin took a >10% dip in price today and other altcoins dropped by more than 10%. Someone has dumped their coins in the market and its back to the previous support level of 3600 USD/btc. Some weak hands or some FUD news - cant really stamp any to the reason.
6846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 10, 2019, 12:08:50 PM
yes I agree with you for bounty hunters I think there is no need to do KYC unless the project can be managed seriously it might not be a problem., KYC is more appropriate for large investors who match the acquisition of prizes as well.
You guys are living in fool's paradises for sure. Yeah big investors are the whales and whales never show their real faces in public because they know they would be attacked then by robbers and criminals. What they do is they take up someone else close to them to do the KYC and then grab the tokens and run away. Seems like a story to you? No it isnt because in many time they will offer the KYC doer some price and would themselves enjoy the impersonation and get the tokens for themselves.

The bounty hunters in this forum need to get new jobs. Stop running after every new shittoken being printed out there and get a proper real life job.
6847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC never approve Bitcoin ETF? on: January 10, 2019, 09:46:22 AM
I think that in the near future, when only the top coins remain, and the cryptocurrency will be used as a means of investment, and possibly investment, then ETF will be approved.
What happens in near future we can only speculate. We know that bitcoin will remain the biggest and most market capped coin out there but will a ETF be accepted? I think we are over exagarating it too much now. Since last year this ETF buzz has started and every-time the ETF gets delayed there is a market crash happening. I think this is just more FUD being pumped into the market even if this sounds paranoid.

Stop thinking about ETF for a minute. If it happens and get accepted well and good. But the higher chance is of them not getting accepted.
6848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: January 10, 2019, 09:42:48 AM
Two years is enough time for you to figure out how to be good in trading.
This is again dependent on a person's learning capability. I would tell them to play it safe and study the older charts as well. They can reveal a lot more on the "trend" than just 2years charts. Again it does not mean that just studying them will make them skilled in trading. It needs practical after the theory.

Quote
With this bear market, I think you should stop trading for a while, Hold your asset and wait until the market bull then start trading again and figure out how to be good at it. DYOR more, two years is way too long to understand it.
One can always buy the dip whenever it happens and stock up unless they are feeling bad and not willing to put in more money. For those who have been with the market for long understand the importance of buying at the dips.
6849  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin even work in our current system? on: January 10, 2019, 09:38:08 AM
If this happens in the future, developers will create applications or applications that will help you perform the desired tasks. As the world changes, people become more intelligent, and they will turn the impossible into possible. What makes a profit will materialize.
Depending on app for everything is not a good way to live. Your bodies will start to rot. Yes bitcoin is a good financial method for future with some advantages over fiat but that does not necessarily mean that its all going to be app-centric or anything like that. I know about app development and lunching them to run on some cryptocurrency blockchain but then again most of these projects dont have any future.

Consumers and customers are now prefer to use digital currencies because of its uses. The bitcoin will work in our current system because it can beat inflation. Most of the economy who experiencing high inflation is now using bitcoin for them to beat it.
Inflation needs to be controlled but then did the governments ever did anything to stop it except giving false promises? I doubt they would ever accept crypto to replace fiat completely.
6850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the right time to explain about bitcoin to others..? on: January 09, 2019, 11:37:47 AM
If you do not show any proof that you earn money from bitcoin they may think it as a scam but it is not a scam and tell to them that bitcoin is very good kind of investment.
I dont understand why people are referring to money earning methods to bitcoin. I believe it is because of the prevalence of bounty hunters in this community more than actual bitcoin holders.

Quote
However, if you introduce at this current rate of market it depend to the people if he will invest or not.
If the person you are introducing it to does not like high risk investments and is more of the conservative type about their money then it will never have any effect. They are not bad but they have a different mindset.

Quote
You should explain it in every detailed so they will get interested on it.
Explaining why it is unique is important as well as pointing out the advantages of bitcoin over other modes of payment.

Quote
You should also tell to them that this time is the good time to buy and invest in bitcoin.
Try not to give financial advice because you will become liable in the future if they lose money. Give a non-biased lecture and tell them about the pros and cons.
6851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: January 09, 2019, 10:26:15 AM
At first, inexperienced traders shouldn't think about profits, they should spend their time to gain as much knowledge and information about trading. After spending a month or two, they should start trading with a small amount, as they gain more experience they should increase their investment.
In this market a few months on experience is nothing. One should study the 5-6year charts of bitcoin and altcoin prices if they want to get a general idea on how the market works and what drives the market. Once they have done that  they should move on the more technical analysis. Then determine what strategy is good for them. Long term or short term depend on personal choices and also how much time they can afford to give to their investments.

everyone will definitely need to understand what is trading because we don't know about trading in the starting show in experience will not help you to trade more profitable Bunny so make your experience more quicker and easier this will help you to get more profit in the short period of time.
Trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It needs practice and insight from the trader. Its not everyone's cup of tea and not everyone can make money from it.
6852  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: January 09, 2019, 10:21:14 AM
I believe that crypto is still profitable, and in my opinion, surely those who benefit from crypto are people who want to work hard, and want to survive until now. even though the situation has not yet opened, they still believe.
It is because people have a belief in the future economy being based on crypto and the properties of crypto that make it unique and important for the future. Those who dont find the importance would not bother to look into it but there are people who are actually putting in money into buying more crypto during every bear cycle. They are stocking up their share of crypto and they would not do this if the future was not good.

Whales and financial analysts know that in future there is going to be a boom in crypto adoption so they are going into it.
6853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: January 09, 2019, 10:17:32 AM
When we start  , we won't really know if it is addictive or not that's the sad part. Anyone who is addicted to drugs would have started having drugs saying , ' let's try it out , it will be a one time thing ' . I guess the same applies to gambling too , knowingly or unknowingly we will get addicted.
That is why people are made aware of the bad effects of their vices so that they can start getting rid of them. Its the job the of the elders to make sure the younger generations dont make the same mistakes as them.

Even though they are getting addicted they want to take the risk and try it and for them stopping would not be an option. They would eventually stop if they are going to run out of money and end up in debt. However if a family depends on them then its going to be bad for the family too so this should be reminded to them.
6854  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto cafe (North America) seeking investors and knowledgeable individuals on: January 08, 2019, 10:45:43 AM
More information on this new business to come.
Nobody is going to be interested in your "crypto cafe" unless you tell us about it. Just posting a title and saying that is coming soon and that soon might be ages and you will long gone with people's money. What lacks in this forum is transparency and legitimacy of projects. Scammers are there to steal people's money with fake promises and the investors have nowhere to complain to.

If you are running or going to run a legitimate business I would suggest you to post some details about your project (at least), how you intend to use the collected funds in the development, marketing and partnerships of the project and if it has any demand in the market that you are trying to sell your service too.
6855  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: January 08, 2019, 07:29:32 AM
I don't think the effect is too big, because bitcoin is not tied to the bank. and vice versa, the fall of the bitcoin market will also not affect the global economy, unless bitcoin is officially made a legal commodity to be traded.
Bitcoin is obviously not tied to the banking system. The fall is because of a selling pressure in layman terms what may have pushed that to happen is another endless debate of several reasons being cited. Now this is unregulated so we cannot have confirmed news of what may have caused it. However during the time of the crash there were crashed in stock and commodity markets as well.

This reciprocation between the traditional market and the cryptocurrency market does not seem to be related. I think we are still new to how far they can be related. Maybe in future bigger crashes in stocks might show uptrend in crypto. Only time will verify the same.
6856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC still have the hope to apply ETF? on: January 08, 2019, 07:24:55 AM
We almost had it, the longest period of stability ever where the price sat at 6500 dollars for many moons. However, this hope was destroyed by greedy BCH creators, thanks Craig Wright and bitmain for ruining everything
The best way to overcome this situation is to not get involved with the trolls on social media and BCH shills. In time when prices fall buy more bitcoin that will support the levels of price and you will be able to stash up more for the bull runs in future. Thats how most traders take advantage of the FUD and do good to their stacks of coins.

Not until February ending before I start to doubt if we will ever see ETF getting approval but for now its still early ,January is looking good with a good start ,I'm sure 2019 will be different
I dont think anything is happening till spring or summer this year. Still there was a bit of green movement yesterday followed by a dump. There bears are looking good at this time even if the bulls are trying to move up.
6857  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin even work in our current system? on: January 08, 2019, 07:17:12 AM
bitcoin can never be used for a loan system or as loan capital, bitcoin and blockchain technology only as intermediaries to make your transactions safer, faster and certainly will require very little cost, if you implement bitcoin to apply loan capital then it will giving a very high risk.
Why not? We have had some ICOs doing this already. Namely Nexo is one before SALT went off. But then the long term value of these projects is very low since we saw how SALT fell out and now people are making up stories that Nexo was built from what SALT had left and that investors of SALT were scammed and so on. Who is correct is very difficult to say.

However a peer to peer lending system based on altcoin backed or physical backed collateral is possible and we have some lenders on bitcointalk who do this as well. Though the default rate is also very high still they manage to be very good loan sharks.

Today its more entrepreneur effort..Maybe this will become a large scale business one day.
6858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: January 07, 2019, 07:47:48 AM
Keep on learning, its the key for everything and of course it will give you more chance of making money as you can now trade without worrying. Newbie traders should not take any shortcut because trading is not just about buying and selling, its more on market timing.
Thing is that newbies often tend to go for some shortcut and they lose the money in the process because they are not ready for the grind. There are scammers out there promising people of huge returns from their "methods" and people actually fall for them and lose their money in the process.

Trading is very risky that even professionals suffers loss and hardtime doing this. Of you are a newbie, try something with a very small amount to calculate things and prevent bankruptsy. Try also trading weekly to observe the flow of the market and have a better view on what you will do next. After that, you will realize that its not that hard if you are really willing to learn.
Professional traders dont rely on the speculation. They do but they also rely on fundamental and technical analysis. Those who are day-trading are obviously doing it full time and they are experts in this field. Though its not possible to sustain that as a mode of earning initially some are able to and I would consider them as very talented.
6859  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: January 07, 2019, 07:44:09 AM
Currently only Ethererum has increased very well, because Ethereum will experience Hardfork, while BTC prices tend to be stable. But Bitcoin will be the arrival of ETF in February, if the ETF will be approved by the SEC, I think a Bull run will happen, hopefully.
Ethereum hardfork is coming this month and we are hopeful of the price to rise as well. We already saw it crossing ripple and now it is back on number 2 on the coinmarketcap list. You can obviously hope for a drop just after the fork is complete because some people will dump their coins taking advantage of the situation and making the news sell.

BTC does have an ETF to be announced but lets stop being optimistic about those being accepted because none of them were and everytime one gets disapproved/delayed the market crashes.

I only trust trading analysis, when the bull market starts, there will be analytical proofs, otherwise everyone is free to expect. During 2018, we heard tens of times about the bull market, all were wrong.
Technically there were a lot of "fake"/"paid" signals to show a bull market is coming. Thats why you should never take those advice for granted. Wink
6860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: January 07, 2019, 07:39:48 AM
I am still confident that investing in the long term in the cryptocurrency market is a very good idea.
That is basically the reason why people in this forum has come together and have been talking and sharing ideas. Long term is a good choice for the young investors who are strong willed and are able to hodl for the next 20-30 years at least. Be busy with your normal lives and keep stocking crypto in your pockets as life goes on. The end result will be very fruitful. Cheesy

I agree. A lot of ideas has been released  with just different names of the altcoin. Those coins are just doing the same and effective marketing is the only way to make their project survive and of course continuous progress.
Effective marketing does not come into the effect of HODL. I dont think thats relevant to this discussion. Properly marketing something does increase the demand and generate the growth but thats for those who are going to exit soon and not hodlers.
