I agree on some comments above, it will be good if you can share more information as to why you think crypto will fall. Of course you are free to speculate, it's just better to provide data if possible.

I participated in a lot of airdrop and received over 100+ (and counting), but not all of them has real real value. I missed a lot of pumps from Q4 2017 for tokens like ACC, BLUE, HAT, SGR, and others.

Can anyone clarify what this term means? I was wondering if it should really be spelt as "HOLD" or the meaning of "HODL" is really crypto-related. I already tried searching threads that explain this but was unsuccessful. I was very curious since I began reading discussions in bitcointalk and I usually see this term but I just understand it to mean 'hold' which means don't sell yet your coins. Please correct my misunderstanding if any. Thanks for your time.
I had the same thought when I was still new to the world of crypto with all these terms such as HODL Until I read a thread explaining how the HODL cam about.

What was your basis for the two-year market recovery? Good thing you mentioned the change in fundamental analysis. The market is changing faster than ever before.

Is the portal alpha released already? Would be awesome to try 😁

I am also waiting for the result of this meeting. We'll just have to wait for it to happen. Regardless of the outcome, I think this a huge step for all cryptocurrencies.

Why ether wallet is important in Joining some ICO?
Because a wallet is needed to receive tokens. Where will they send you the tokens that you bought from their ICO if you do not have a wallet?

What are the driving factors for crytpocurrency valuation?
Scarcity? Utility? Use? Demand? Network? or am I off base already?
All you mentioned are factors in determining the price of any cryptocurrency. I think Demand is the most important of them all. If there is a high demand, prices tends to go high.

So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it. How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?
It's a tough call. If it's me, my actions would depend on my current situation. In an ideal situation and provided that I still think it's a good project, I'd rather wait for it to bounce. Strong hands and stable emotion are needed to survive.

That is the general trend but as you saw it already, it is not always the case. Ultimately, the price of Eth is determined by the market. More buyers usually leads to higher prices.

I am really looking forward to EOS as well. I just do not see bitcoin running on EOS. It is not bitcoin anymore if that ever happens

Many altcoins will definitely die. Majority of them have no solid product and team behind. The competition is tough here. For a project to stand out, it has to be relevant.

Best advice to give. The question now is how to spot a get-rich-quick scams. Many fall victim to these scams simply because they do not know how to spot one.

Hi all, I had managed to join 4 bounties that were recommended to newbies.
Since there a quite a number of bounties in this forum as well as other sites, may i know what are the things to really look out for to justify to join which bounty? Thanks alot
Treat the bounty campaign as if you are going to invest your money in that project. Note that you basically get rewarded if the presale and/or ICO of that project is a success. So it is important that you understand the project and if you think that it is good, then go for it.

i want to ask to you , what should i do before i decide to holding a coin ? a part from the clarity of the developer thanks you before , and i hope you all can understand what i said Aside from the team behind, learn the basics about the project. What is it all about? What is it for or what problem is the project trying to solve? Is it relevant in your opinion? Those are my basic guides. You may add some.

During last time do a lot of bounties and get some different price. its near 17 numbers and all price according to the market no more then 350 USD for all... What you should recommend to do with this coins?
Allow those projects to grow provided that they are good in your opinion. It is normal to see the price of start up projects low but it will increase over time. It is important that you follow these projects and be updated.

According to recent recearch, 56% of 2017 ICOs fail. And you know what? That's OK. 90% of startups fail but the rest grow so high that they compensate venture investors 90% loss and provide very high profits.
So the basic rules with ICOs are very simple: 1. Do the research before you invest 2. Diversify, diversify, diversify 3. Ignore news and HODL
44% ICO success rate is good in my opinion. I agree 100% with rule 1 and 2. You cannot really ignore news, it is still important to get updates from time to time.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?
I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.
I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?
I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning that into riches (the obvious dream).
For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
I started with way less than your initial investment. I don't think there is a "best amount to invest" into crypto. Still the best thing is to invest what you can afford and also invest time learning about crypto.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I do not agree with this but I do not blame the management for taking these steps also. We are aware that some are taking advantage of bounty campaigns by registering multiple accounts, so this is probably the reason why companies require KYC.

You can listen to the opinions of these so-called analysts and experts on crypto currencies but don't take their word for it. These analysts and experts makes a lot of mistakes.
