https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5077069.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111040.0

6864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best ICO in FEB 2019 on: February 12, 2019, 07:53:04 AM
I have to say that its getting harder and harder to find good ICOs which host bounties. The few promising projects out there are of course overrun, so you wont get that much stakes that taking part in the bounty is worth the effort. Very hard times, hope the market turns soon Wink
It's not so hard as long as you keep yourself from the latest updates regarding a new ico. Fetchai and bluenote have become the best ico in these days. a lot of people have talked about that dude and you can try to see that.
Of course, I didnt say that there are no more successful ICOs. What I meant is that it is very hard to

1) find the few promising ICOs out of hundreds of unsuccessful projects
2) take part in bounties of such projects due to the fact that they are often overrun
3) keep yourself up to date with promising icos, cause even projects listed on bountyhive/bountyplatform.io/... are often unsuccessful these days.
6865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ☛ Signature Bounty & Merit System on: February 12, 2019, 07:47:20 AM
I think its a lot of work to track the merit-status of the postings. Bounty hunters usually write hundrets of posts during an ICO, the manager would need an automatic system to analyze and count those posts. But its definitly a very good idea and worth a look at!

Merit data are public and I do not think that it's too hard to collect merit data. It could be realized by simple parsing of registered participant's profile or by using unofficial open API: https://github.com/mprep-btc/Unofficial-Bitcointalk-API/

Ya, there are definitly ways of tracking it, but the bounty manager has to do all the work to eg. write the code to retrieve the data and I think thats the cause why its not that common

Wuhu, gewonnen  Smiley

(was ich doch stark hoffe Grin)

TL;DR: Welcome back, qwk Wink

6872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto trading bots - 3commas, cryptohopper. on: February 09, 2019, 10:14:22 AM
Are all of these bots actually subject to a charge or are there also free bots available?
Since you've tried multiple bots, do you have any recommendations?
The first bot I used was a self written balancing bot (it tries to balance out fiat and BTC based on a rate, e.g. 60% / 40%). But it wasnt capable of any trading strategies so I tried some free trading bots out there. The by far best bot is "Gecko Trading Bot" in my opinion. It is very easy to set up, has a self-explanatory UI and a lot of trading strategies built in. I would give it a try if you are interested in it. Just load your favorite exchange with some BTC (I was trading 0.1 BTC back then) and let Gecko trade. Some of the trading strategies require a lot of historical data, so it may last 1-3 days until Gecko trades the first time!
6873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10% Of Ethereum DApps Are Used On Any Given Day on: February 09, 2019, 10:08:20 AM
It is because most of them are useless vaporware and even if there are a couple of usable ones, it will make ETH blockchain useless again. We already seen what happened to ETH when too many people used cryptokitties last year. ETH devs were literally begging to people to not use it and that wasn't even a useful dapp that was a retarded game.
Exactly this. Only a minority of the DApps out there have a real use case and the community to be used, too. The vast majority is simply useless or didnt manage to gain attraction of the community. I always compare it to the current startup hype. Only a few are able to survive the first 3 years, the same applies to crypto projects in my opinion.
6874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for a seed to close a deal on: February 08, 2019, 06:25:45 PM
Why don't you try to get in touch with angel investors? There are sites ranking the crypto currency angel investors out there and let you contact them directly. I am sure you will be way more successful this way than with this thread in the altcoin section of BTT ;-)

Good luck!
6875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bullish trend has commence! on: February 08, 2019, 06:18:20 PM
I wouldnt count that much on a single green day. I agree that it is very good to see a lot of my coins green, but I am sure that the bear market isnt over yet. It may even be a bull trap to lure all those "I will buy bitcoin sub 3000" guys into buying BTC too expensive.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us, if a bot cannot make profits during a bull market and only gives you 30 dollars after all its costs are taken into account then what it is the point of having and using that bot?
Well, I did it merely just for fun. Bought a raspberry pi3, set it up and tried a lot of different trading bots with a lot of different strategies. I learned a lot and it wqs fun as long as it lasted, but you wont get rich with it. All in all I wouldnt invest in any bot, I think you even wont break even ...
6877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex About to Drop Support for Monero on: February 07, 2019, 06:30:53 AM
Well, look at who owns polo ... its wall street driven. Monero has a negative touch due to the fact its a very common form of payment in the darknet. So I guess the wall street guys dont want to get connected with supporting a darknet coin - To be honest, they would have to cancel BTC traiding pairs then as well.

6879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suddenly disappearing token on: February 06, 2019, 06:27:30 AM
Have you discovered some token were disappearing within the market at this period. Such as Bitboost just suddenly disappeared away from market without prior awareness. Should that be? Is that not a cheat?
Do you really mean "within the market"? A lot of (dead) coins get delisted from major exchanges these days, but this doesnt mean the development team stopped their work. Although its very likely ...
6880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: (TON) Telegram Open Network - are you ready? on: February 06, 2019, 06:24:05 AM
1.7 Billions raised..  So you will need its marketcap to increase in another a huge amount of 1.700.000.000$ to get just a 2X ICO price.. In other words, the potential of growth has no interest for me. no thanks.. i will stay out
Exactly thank you very much for highlighting this fact. Its very unlikely that this coin may raise another 1.7B, making it a very risky investment.
