6881  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: April 09, 2018, 01:58:19 PM
The people don't hate Muslims, for the most of them don't even know what it is. It is just a built enemy in order to legitimatize invasions and wars against some other people which aren't even Muslims, by the way.
If you point out something and convince the people for it to be the enemy, the worst thing in the face of the earth and then you describe them towards a religion, then the sheep will follow. The people need an enemy. They don't want to see their own rulers as an enemy, so they make another one. And, of course, if you convince a country's population about the idea of a thread, even when it is based on a big lie, or have no arguments, they will see the government as the great protector, and all the military spent as something "necessary"...
So no, people do not hate Muslims, they just have been brainwashed.
6882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get Merits on: April 06, 2018, 09:27:24 PM

Not that I disagree with the rest of your post, but wasn't the merit system implemented because it was too easy for people to join and become higher ranking? And when it was implemented, didn't everyone who already had an account get 100 merit instantly, even if their posts weren't very helpful? I see plenty of people with spam-quality posts and exactly 100 merit. No one is really complaining about not being legendary, but the requirements to get to even 'full member' status are very difficult.

Yes, but I just have mentioned how difficult was for many people to achieve a high rank. Let notice I was talking about earning money here in the forum. In order to be able to work here with a good profit, it is usually needed an upstanding rank. In my previous speech, I was meaning how difficult has been for us all to become respectable members, we have been here for years, asking and answering questions and a big etc. Now, there are too many people seeking money instead of knowledge around here. And that's one of the reasons why the merit system had to be implemented. I was answering a person begging for some recognition before even making a research on this forum, being part, making good contributions and so. For, lately, this is the normal situation: people with no interest in the forum itself, but on the possibility of earning a few dollars.
Regarding your question, when the merit system was implemented it would be really unfair to put all members at the same level. You have a point, there are many members which occurs to be shitposted since the beginning, and this is going to be really difficult for them to rank up now (which is what the merit system was seeking). Of course, they are also legendary members with zero quality posts and tons of activity. Of course. But most of them aren't shitposting!!
There are too many respectable members here with tons of information, they are sharing all this knowledge at no cost to anybody, and they deserve each merit of their ranks. My example: I have a limitate number of sMerits  and I love to give away them in order to help and encourage people to make good posts. But I have to earn my own merits too if I want to give smerits to the people. So I try to work harder, much harder than before. To all ranks the merit system means a challenge.

The only thing I ask to those desperate newbies is tfor them to show some respect and to not be so obvious in their only goal: earn money. The forum is much more than a few coins or a place where you can earn a couple of dollars: is a community working on sharing their knowledge freely, and, between this knowledge, there is much information about how to earn some money by using crypto!!! Is not enough?? No. The people prefer to, instead of reading, to beg and beg and beg. They just seem to can't understand this is nor a charity website. If you want your place here, work. If you want to understand crypto, read.
If you just seek for people to give you something free, keep waiting and begging, for this is not going to happen.
6883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get Merits on: April 06, 2018, 07:45:01 PM
I've been looking into your post history with the will of giving you some merit (because you said you made good contributions) and find anything of use. So just improve your contributions, try to make useful posts and to write properly (as much as you can) in English.
The forum is not a place where you can come and beg for something that implies true effort.
What I recommend?? Well, take a look at the most merited posts, and try to understand why are they succeeding and you not. Of course, you will find many merits unfairly given, because they are many farmers around here (cof cof ), but you will also see very remarkable posts from you can learn a lot.
Do not stay just in one section, explore the forum, for God's sake!! There is too much to learn in here, you've been here for a really short time, so just be humble and learn well how this works before coming and asking for rewards you don't deserve at all!!
Looking into your profile this is clear all that you want from this forum is earning money. Well, then you should know this is a really competitive place and you need time and constant effort to become someone in here (years!! like all of us have needed!!).
Before the merit system you needed years to become a legendary member, now it is going to take the same time and more discipline in the quality of your posting activity. Look around you, all of us have been here for years, years of effort, years of learning every day new stuff about the crypto.
Can you just appreciate it?? Our effort?? Our sleepless nights??
6884  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-27] Twitter Confirms Ban On Cryptocurrency ADS on: April 06, 2018, 07:14:59 PM
Given the big amount of scamming projects surrounding the cryptoworld it has become necessary those kinds of implementations. As far as I've seen, the platforms banning ads are not against the blockchain itself, but against the fraudulent use of it, as a scam, fraudulent ICOs, and not confidable investing sites. To me, this is a necessary evil, and I do not agree with the idea of good ICOs having a problem with that: if you have a confidable project you will not need to say "Ey, free money here!!! " as many spam sites do every day.
Besides, it will help for the people to take seriously the crypto world, for what kind of asset is announced on the internet as a sort of miracle?? None. And if everyone is, for instance, trying to sell dollars with "great profits", it will be treated instantaneously as a scam. So, what's the difference with cryptocoins? Again, none. There is no difference at all. If we want for crypto to be taken seriously our first move is to stop that kind of advertisement because it damages the crypto image.
6885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why? on: April 06, 2018, 05:02:52 PM
You can escape from reality.
This is really sad how many people feel depressed nowadays. Many teenagers can only feel important inside a fiction as a video game, where they can be heroes, they can fly, they can rescue the princess and they can stop thinking for a while on the bullying they suffer at school, for instance.
In many ways, the increase of the video games use can be related to the society we are building, tied to a feeling of immanence and pointless style of life. There are not challenges enough for smart people surrounded by stupidity. For instance: a brilliant young man loving maths in a normal high school with glasses and quite fat, probably will feel really alone, for his companion's concerns are related to beauty, social recognition, sports, social media, clothes, shopping... and a big "BLAH". Imagine he's concern about the universe, about the future, about space traveling, he will be called "nerd" and become the focus of many jokes.
Then he can go home and play his video games where he receives points and recognition for resolving problems, for thinking...

Since you said you enjoy games and interesting sites I found two more for you.

https://www.coinrebates.com/
CoinRebates offers bitcoin cashback rewards for shopping on selected online stores such as Expedia, Walmart, Macys etc.

https://www.bitcoinget.com/
On this site you get paid in Bitcoins for completing small tasks  and surveys.

I have not tested them and dont know how much you can earn but they might be fun if you enjoy these things.

Cheers

Hell yeah!!! They are nice too!! Thanks, mate!
6889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is forbidden for Muslims on: April 06, 2018, 03:03:30 PM
Under the Muslim law, usury is totally forbidden. Some Muslims countries are using that as an excuse in order to forbid the use of bitcoin, based on the possibility of BTC being used as gambling and so. Now, of course, this is just another example of how religion can be used as a way of legitimization of anything, due to the several interpretations a religious book can always have. Of course, in the Coran, there is a specific prohibition about gambling and usury, if I am not mistaken, this is called "haram". Bitcoin, as any currency can be used in too many ways. But, once more, the prohibition based on the interpretation of the religious speech is nothing but a political weapon of control and legitimacy.
6890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie BTC on: April 06, 2018, 02:58:50 PM
It is better if you stay here in the forum for a while before joining a bounty, you will learn a lot and you will be able to choose those bounties suitable for you. Be careful, and choose wisely, just be patient and wait for a while.
There is never such a thing as "too late". But you neither need to be in a rush, so just wait, read, read and read; learn, learn and learn. And then you will be prepared for anything.

6892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling is not a bad thing. on: April 03, 2018, 01:34:43 PM
Totally agree with you. Of course, it depends on the point of view of the affected ones:
- For those who invested on bitcoin when the bubble, for sure this isn't good.
- For the public image of bitcoin, this is regular, for many people still think this is a bubble, the public opinion will need a while until they see bitcoin again as something stable (this point is related to the first one, but in the opposite sense: those who didn't invest on btc when the bubble, are happy 'cause they didn't lose their money but, as I can see in my friends, they don't think about bitcoin as something  stable or safe).
- For those who earn directly in bitcoin this is great, for we get more bitcoin with our salary...
- For the people that truly know how bitcoin works, its story and so, this is good. A bubble does not make any good, and, even when many think bitcoin is too low now, I think this is a good price for the moment.
Many believe this is going to happen another pump, a big one. I can't predict anything, for I'm not a time-traveler, but even when I think bitcoin is never going to be something stable, somehow I believe this is needed if we want it to become mainstream. Nevertheless, it probably won't happen any soon, for this is not the nature of the coin at all.
6893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need help on: April 03, 2018, 03:28:56 AM
It has been repeated many times here on the Begginers & Help board, so please, consider that the first step to earning merit is: Read before posting!!!! (sorry for the intensity, but, oh, man, every day we have at least ten new threads related to merits).
Do not despair, friend, as well as you can work on your English skills (something useful to many stuff in your life), you can chill and explore the boards here in the forum with the only goal of understanding how it works.
When you have achieved both pieces of knowledge about the forum and some English skills for you to express yourself freely and more comfortable, you will see immediately the results not only by earning merits here in bitcoin talk, but everywhere else, for you will learn the most important lesson in life: to be patient.
6894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your BTC knowledge for Merits. How to earn Bitcoins on the Internet? on: April 03, 2018, 03:11:05 AM
I know steemit, but I have to confess it haven't "hooked" me yet, for it is really difficult to be seen, and you need to invest too much time in order to get some profits. It works ok with you?

If a person has the time (and knowledge) to write down decent articles for steemit, maybe it is just better for him to start his own blog. Steemit will give you a very fast kickstart because you'll find your readers much faster but in the long term your own blog might make you more.

Still, having to maintenance your own website and writing articles at the same time may also become too much time consuming. If a person was writing articles every now and then, steemit might be a better solution but since we are talking about this as a job, and a person always will want to earn more from his job, which means the more he/she makes money out of blogging, he/she will want to write even more articles, it finally comes down to that, you either post lots of articles or you don't at all. And If you post lots of stuff, >> back to point 1 >> you better start your own business.

*btw this thread is great. Thanks for creating it OP.

Totally agree. To me, Steemit is a very good option but, unfortunately, I don't have for now enough time. I've learned a lot from steemit, and for the moment I consider it to be a great payment!!!
Jajaja... and regarding your advice on starting my own business, I think we can design a place similar to steemit but based on another idea, I don't know yet, I've just thought about that for a while. Maybe we can create a place based on the idea of the rewards but where the people can make contests, as resolving issues of interest, researching about something... I don't know yet!! any idea!!

Thanks for your collaboration to this thread!!
6895  Other / Meta / Re: How we earn merit ? Dont store Smerit. on: April 02, 2018, 06:48:07 PM
As a Legendary, I only give my smerits to useful post, even when the use of the language is not perfect, at least they are constructive, informative or helpful.
Obviously, it doesn't matter the rank of those who receive my sMerits ( i don't even pay attention to that but to the quality of the post I rewarded).
You seem to have two big problems: the first of them, you don't even care, you don't give a s**t about how to express yourself in English (neither it is my natural language and to me it is difficult to write in English for a single line can take me minutes... but I try to do my best, always). Your lack of care about the use of the language is just another symptom of your little interest and effort. The second one: you have received merit by doing so, by writing as a child and being pointless. I don't know if it is the result of trading with merits or whatever, but it looks dishonest and more than enough to put you into ignore.
6896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to get members in bitcointalk? on: April 02, 2018, 01:24:12 PM
The best way to rank out on the forum (if that is what you were trying to say) is to be patient, to have respect, and to read before posting, all of the qualities you don't seem to have, by the way.
Besides, if you want to post on the English boards, you will need to study the language a bit, so people can understand you.
All of them are possible to achieve, even when your English and attitude is now totally wrong, you can change it by reading carefully the forum and by being quiet for a time while improving your skills.
6897  Other / Meta / Re: Decrease the new new requirements!! Too hard to rank up! on: April 01, 2018, 04:52:02 PM
Hello sir. In order to achieve the Legendary position, you will need to pray each day at 6 to the holy Theymos. After that, take a cow and dress it as a Japanese cow, take a walk with it and then you will achieve the holy goal of earning some f-merits.
Do not despair, my dear companion, for the light is here and we all are holy soldiers in the undertaken of fighting bitcoin heresy.
After the cow goes to sleep, you will need to offer some covfefe to a statue of Satoshi Nakamoto, you can make it yourself with some paper, but it has to be holy paper (further instructions: speak to the cow).
In order to get some virtue, you will need to begin every thread with an apology, you can find many examples of the "Beginners &help" board.
If you want to achieve some karma, then you will need to trade your virtue (be aware of scammers, they only accept coins, it is better to offer yourself to the holy moderators, for they accept virgins) -further instructions: ask the cow.
If you want to rank-up faster, the best way is to become a holy soldier and to persecute scammers, you can see many examples on the "Meta" board, here on the forum.
And, finally, never forget to ask the cow. For in she resides Satoshis spirit, and all the answer you seek.
Best wishes, dear companion.
Please notice I've written it with the absolute respect towards your holy person.
Have a really nice day, sir.
6898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New rank up system? on: April 01, 2018, 04:25:59 PM
I just 2 days here and I already know the requirements to go up rank, but there is something different today with the existence of new system like fmerit, karma, politeness, etc. does the new system have an effect on raising rank or is it just an april fool's day joke?

Dear Newbie, the holy Theymo's rage is over all the heretic and unpolite users, so Behold! Satoshi's spirit has possessed our moderators in order to bring all us into the light again.
Fear not the new era, for here is the day we all be brought up into the holiness of the cryptosky.
6899  Other / Meta / Re: New new rank requirements on: April 01, 2018, 04:20:28 PM
Dear Sir, please notice I am a servant of Jesus and a God Soldier. Politely I'd like to ask about becoming a current inquisition soldier here in the holy forum, in order to persecute heresy. I will be a servant of the rage of God and will pray for Satoshi's blessing all us every morning at 6 (even before taking my holy covfefe).
Thanks, sir,
Please God, Bless all.
