6881  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: September 10, 2015, 04:29:26 PM
i also think that in the middle of next year because of the halving the price is going to rise again, something like what happened to litecoin prior to its halving is possible to happen here too.
6882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Miners' compensation in 2040 on: September 10, 2015, 04:22:50 PM
by that time bitcoin is either long gone or replaced by something else or another scenario is that bitcoin price is high enough that fees are going to cover the mining costs. besides since block reward would be small transaction fees can be increased to cover that.
6883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which bitcoin wallet is the safest and the most convenient? on: September 09, 2015, 02:59:14 PM
If you want a fast and simple bitcoin wallet then I recommend you the multibit.

you should try Electrum , then you will never go back to multibit again

they have somewhat the same functionality, but after trying out both of them i prefer Electrum much more.
6884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: September 09, 2015, 02:54:50 PM
it might fix your life but only on some rare ocasions i guess though thats just my opinion

i doubt if gambling can ever fix anybody's life! maybe in some extremely rare occasions there is one person in the whole world that won a big prize just one time and that changed his/her life but it is not happening for  the rest of the world. we are getting #rekt Wink
6885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 09, 2015, 02:49:46 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

for me gambling had only one outcome and that is losing my money.

as a result i try to keep the amount that i gamble to a minimum amount to prevent any horrible loss that i end up regretting. because most of the time i know that i am going to end up losing.
6886  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptopoker.io | Earn Rewards on: September 09, 2015, 02:44:11 PM
do you have any promotional giveaways for people who want to test the site first and see how things are working?
as others have mentioned, including some screenshots can be nice.
6887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 09, 2015, 02:38:20 PM
surely bitcoin won't last forever, but itll certainely last another ~100years or so. bitcoin is life

~100 years sound like forever to me Cheesy
not only because i am long gone by then buy also because i believe if bitcoin can survive and still be around and strong, then i don't see any reason why it should not be around even more (literary forever).
6888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If *someone* is stressing BTC... Do you support stressing *someone*? on: September 09, 2015, 02:21:49 PM
OP changed in order to edit their name out for less publicity to them.

I don't agree with what they're doing, I think it's ridiculous, we all know what's going to happen. It's not a 'stress test', it's a 'spam fest'. It's a bull shit, spamming, self promoting waste of time.

I don't know why they think they have the right to do this.

Well anybody can do anything they want, specially with the Bitcoin network since it is decentralized and let's you do so with it.

It is not that I approve what they are doing. I think also there is some hidden agenda behind them wasting the amount of BTC that they said they will use. It might be very well for self promotion. If this thing will last as they said, 30 days, I am sure everyone in the Bitcoin world and many outsiders will know about Coinwallet.

i agree with LFC_Bitcoin, it doesn't matter that bitcoin network is open to everyone and it is decentralized. what they are doing (or planning to do) is a spam attack and they are trying to hide it behind the fancy word of "test".
since it is harming the network by delaying other users transactions then it is not right.
6889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2015, 02:09:15 PM
You could try playing games such as Dice or Minesweeper and grow your Bitcoins. Although it might be considered as gambling, you can still have fun  Roll Eyes

Smiley gambling is good way if you sure have more lUck  Grin

Lol what a way to earn bitcoin, but what if you don't have luck, you will get depressed

If you always rely on luck in gambling It is not good, you must have the skill for it. I think gambling is not a good way, one day you will lose big

well said. if you want to earn money through gambling i have to tell you that you are delusional because you are losing money. and if you have a gambling addiction or simply enjoy gambling with your bitcoins i think it is better to look for games that require some skill instead of pure luck like dice.
6890  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 09, 2015, 02:03:23 PM
so the stress test has officially started. huh
shame on you for trying to use other people's greed for your evil purposes by spreading the stress addresses to fill the blockchain with your spam attack.
6891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: September 09, 2015, 01:58:16 PM
Just go for bitcoins. You can earn a lot from it

Where is this bitcoins? You should provide a proper site url otherwise how one can guess what you're are thinking.

I think he meant mining bitcoins, if you got good equipment you can earn a significant amount of it.

But let's not forget the altcoins that can be picked up at cheap price now, and sold later at higher price!

I have good and bad experiences in new altcoins, it's true that cost cheap but it can go cheaper and you loose.

Not necessarly new altcoins, old ones can be cheap too. Burst for example is only 32 satoshi and its already established.

LTC is pretty cheap now, and its through the halving period.

NXT is also cheap considering the earlier price levels.

etc.

@smith coins
when you enter altcoin market you should always expect the risk of losing your investment because of the nature of the market which is so volatile and being pump and dumped by a lot of people.

as for litecoin it looks like after the previous pump, it went back to being dead again. so far the price was going consistently down. but it might have a little bounce back
6892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: September 09, 2015, 01:55:03 PM
Obviously that would depend on how much the pay was.   Are we talking about just a few satoshi or are we talking about a decent level of pay?  I would do just about any task if the price was right.

That's fair. Me too, depends on the price i enjoy the the task and the payment Smiley

usually the payment of such tasks are very small. and worst of all is that some of them require you to put a lot of effort in completing them and then wait a long time to get paid for it.

Well as i said it really depends what task you do, there are lots of that doesn't pay much or near to ~0, but "selling" your skills gets you good income.

i agree but selling your skills is different that doing online tasks. these online tasks are usually consist of searching, filling out forms, surveys, signing up and all sorts of work like that.

but selling skills is something like doing web design or for example coding or i have done some graphical design myself which pays way more that the first group.
6893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about starting new type of btc gambling game on: September 09, 2015, 01:38:22 PM
as for investing i think either you have to come up with the money yourself (from your own pocket) or find someone who knows you to invest in your idea.

as for coding you can easily find people who are capable of coding and designing a website everywhere. do a google search or you can start a new topic in services section looking for hire.

p.s. this topic might belong in gambling section.
6894  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's about to drop on: September 09, 2015, 01:10:43 PM
It's dropping right now.

If your in btc for long time then you should have understood that few dollar variation in a day is common in btc trading ever day. Do not worry much about day trading. Invest for long term and have patience to get more profits. Some time these news will come out from day traders so that they can make a profit. But keep eye on your investments to avoid big losses.

most people here are very short term minded. if they see the price go down a few bucks they start to get worried. as long as you don't sell you won't lose anything.

and people like the starter try to take full advantage of this short mindedness of people by spreading fear and try to fill their buy orders at lower prices to gain a quick buck.
6895  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many BTC I need ? on: September 09, 2015, 01:00:40 PM
Ok, so how much BTC I need to store from now to be millionaire Smiley in 3-5 years when Bitcoin grows mainstream ?
10 ? 50 ? 100 ? 1000 ?  Share Your thoughts.

it depends on how much you think bitcoin is going to grow or fall. there are so many different opinions that i am sure soon you will see in this thread.

if bitcoin goes back to its high price of $1000-1200 then you will need at least 1000BTC to have at least one million which won't make you a millionaire.

6897  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there so many new dice sites popping up? on: September 08, 2015, 04:54:22 PM
They say more competition is better for business

i totally agree with that but i don't see any competition. copying the same script over and over and just giving it a new name would not create any sort of competition.
6898  Economy / Gambling / Re: Reliable gambling sites on: September 08, 2015, 04:52:18 PM
Hello,

I've started to be interested in gambling with BTC. Smiley I haven't seen any topic like this in our forum (if I'm wrong just send me a link and close this one Smiley)

There are a lot of adverts. And I would like to create here some database with checked services. I mean services where you have been playing, you know that there are fair rules, good rates etc. Because for me it was impossible to go trough all these topics with recommended services (mainly by their owners).

So let's start! Where are you betting? What kind of games have you checked? Have you earned a lot? etc. etc.

PEACE Cheesy

i have tried many of dice gambling websites, i've tried most of them because they were new and they were doing some sort of promotion with free starting amount, but so far i find PrimeDice best of all of them.

but dice gambling is the worst way of gambling and i am looking into some new ways, can't leave feedback on them yet, gotta get back to you on that part.
6899  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's about to drop on: September 08, 2015, 04:47:01 PM
This pump that started this weekend is about to fizz out. Time to exit. Now.

i don't see any bad news on the way that can reverse this upward motion of bitcoin price.

it is somewhat stable and going up.
6900  Economy / Speculation / Re: quiet before the storm. $18000 coming! on: September 08, 2015, 04:41:37 PM
$1000 is in the dream of everybody who uses bitcoin, but i don't see $18000 even  in my dreams. Cheesy

honestly i think there is a lot of obstacles on the way to go that high, besides a large number of bitcoin holders would start selling if the price goes even to $1000 which will stop any pump.

EDIT: it is funny to see this topic side by side of the quack's topic of doom Cheesy
