The Bitcoin dominance dipped by 2% (from 57% to 55%), due to the crazy bull run by BSV. I got rid of my BSV as soon as Blockchain.com decided to end its support. Back then, I sold them for 0.009 BTC per coin. And look at the exchange rates now, they have risen by almost 200%. It was a very poor decision by Blockchain.com and a lot of their users may have lost money.

Both Woakes and Archer started well. But if England want to win this match, they need to get at least 2-3 wickets during the first 15 overs. If they could get rid of de Kock, then that will put Amla in a lot of pressure and the run rate may go down quite a bit. And in case the required run rate get to 7.00 to 7.50, then the Brits can go for the kill.

I think this is not bad. Therefore, the more the competition in the market, the better for us. The more exchanges there are, the better they will be for us.
Competition is good. But you need to remember that there is only a limited number of cryptocurrency users who are active right now, and therefore the total revenues that can be accumulated every year is limited. In case the number of exchanges increase beyond a certain point, then the revenues will fall to a threshold which is below the sustainable level. Very good. But also diversity and having the choice between exchanges based on your location and if you want DEX or CEX exchange. Competition is good or otherwise, exchanges take advantage of high fees. I have seen some very high btc withdraw fees which is why I withdrew as doge coin instead. Eth can be 0.01 to withdraw. This is so much. If thousands of people move crypto each day think of how many fees the exchange is collecting just for nothing really. We can't do much about the high withdrawal fees. If the exchanges don't get enough revenues, then they may fail to take the proper security precautions and in the end ordinary users like us will end up losing our hard earned coins. Personally I don't mind paying $5 or $10 for a single withdrawal, as long as the exchange remains as a trustworthy element.

Get ready as the World Cup is about to start in around 12 hours from now. What a match to start off with England v South Africa, its hard to pick which team will win but I think we have to go for the home team to win. I just hope we see a high scoring match with many runs scored as both teams have the batting power to score big runs. The wait is over and may the best team win!
I was expecting a high scoring match, with England batting first and scoring above 400. But they managed to score only 313 in their allotted 50 overs. Now they are in real danger of losing their very first match in this world cup. There was hardly anything in the pitch that supported the bowlers. But the English batsmen threw their wickets away.

An exciting match is going on between SA and England. Imran Tahir picked up the first wicket of Bairstow in first over.England looking to manage runs in the board.Root is playing well till now. After 8 overs England is on 49.I believe 350 runs is a decent score to defend against SA because SA have a long lists of Batsman.
England has managed 311/8. Since England has scored between 300 and 350, the game will be evenly placed and both the teams will be having equal chances. A lot will depend on Archer (who seems to be in top form). For South Africa, the performances from de Kock and du Plessis may hold the key to winning this match. But they need to make sure that Amla doesn't waste too many balls in the beginning.

Okay ladies and gentlemen. Imran Tahir takes first wicket of this world cup 2019 and he got the big fish "Bairstow"
Game is on!!
Poor England, bad start. Bairstaw is a big loss although they have enough to back it up. I don't want England to lose the first match of the world cup in their ground. I had predicted a victory for England and it looks like they are about to lose the game. After 49.0 overs, they are at 300/8. Any score less than 340-350 is going to be very difficult to defend... but to England's credit they have a balanced team and good bowlers such as Jofra Archer. But the collapse of the English batting department during the last 9-10 overs was amazing.

Honestly speaking I am not liking the pitch in UK. These pitches has nothing for the bowlers. If they keep doing everything for the batsmen then some day like someone said, we will not see fast bowlers instead we will see the bowling machine and the captain is selecting in the machine which ball will have which length and line.
That was me ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I was mocking the shitty pitches and used this bizarre example ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) if 350-400 runs target becoming norm then everything is possible. and think what would happen if any team scoring 500 runs in ODI. finger cross if English batsmen come up against any weaker bowling side and every batsmen clicks on the same day then 500 target look easy very much possible target. If 481 is possible (England vs Australia, Nottingham, 19 June 2018), then definitely 500 is also possible. There was a time when any total above 300 used to be considered as an exception. But now if a team scores below 350 in 50 overs, that is considered as an exception. And this has destroyed the quality of bowling. We no longer see bowlers of the calibre of Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne, or Alan Donald.

Having a bad feeling about HitBTC right now. I think something is not right with that exchange. Just saw another thread (in another sub-forum), in which an user was claiming that the withdrawals are getting delayed. And it looks to me that they recently increased the withdrawal fee. For example, they are charging more than $6 for Litecoin withdrawals. This is just crazy...

Finally Good come back by India. on the first power play I thought that the score will not cross 300 and it will pack between 270-280 runs. But after Dhawan,Rohit and kohli Rahul and Dhoni changed the match total. And now Bangladesh already lost their 8 wickets to achieve 220 more runs.
It was a good match for India, but they need to shore up their game before the group matches. Openers have failed for consecutive matches and Vijay Shankar looked quite useless out there. Rahul's form is good news for India, and I hope he will be able to relieve some of the pressure from Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. India still depends on these two a lot in the batting department.

I haven't used HitBTC for quite sometime, so I can't confirm this news. But a number of exchanges are showing distress signals right now and it will be better for us to withdraw all of our coins to safe wallets, before they end up like Cryptopia and Wex. Nowadays I don't think that there is a single exchange out there, which we can trust.

A lot of the new entrants in to the world of crypto-currency are getting confused by BSV. There is a lot of propaganda going on in the social media that BSV is the original Bitcoin and some of the noobs therefore purchase BSV along with BTC (or BCH). Even if someone purchases BTC using 90% of his funds and BSV using the remaining 10%, then BSV will be getting a boost because its market share is less than 1%.

^^^^ Very surprising that you have England on the top. IMO, I would rank Australia as #1, followed by India. England may look strong on paper, but I don't think that they have a very balanced team. The home advantage is there, but then teams such as Australia and New Zealand have also performed very well in the English soil.

There is a very difficult question some of us are facing right now. In case Bitcoin is illegal in a particular country, are we liable to pay taxes on any profit that results from the trade of BTC? I asked this question to one of my friends (who happens to be an advocate). He told me that we need to pay the taxes on any profit, irrespective of the legality of the act.
But how practical is that? Paying taxes in a country where Bitcoin is banned. How are you going to define it in the tax returns?

Other Posters already posted stats and arguments but Vishnu bhai let me know if you want more stats in details. Digging more information takes time but will bring it out for you ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) having said that I am not surprised that you are criticizing Sachin. it happens all the time and nothing wrong with it, you are entitled to your viewpoint and Sachin's critics use similar arguments all the time that "he plays for records or he's not match winner" etc In Indian Cricket Sachin is Feeling, I am sure that Virat Kohli can break all records of Sachin but he can't replace the feeling and TBH we should never compare 2 players from a different era. game has changed so much, you and me both know that. OK... I would agree with you when you say that these two players can't be compared. They played during different era, and they faced different set of bowlers. Even the conditions were different. Two decades back, the game of cricket was not this much biased towards the batsmen. The bowlers at least had a fighting chance... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

~snip~ My finalist- Australia vs England
What's your?
My Favourites for this World Cup . 1. England 2. India 3. Australia Not sure about finalist atm because everything can happen in the Semis. In case India reaches the final, then my bet on India doesn't matter who their opponent is. I would add New Zealand and South Africa to your list and I don't think that the remaining five teams have the capability to reach the semi-final stage. West Indies and Pakistan can be the dark horses, but they are too inconsistent. On top of that Pakistan is going through a lean patch right now. The last team I am going to mention is Afghanistan. They may not be able to reach the semis, but they are capable of an upset or two in this edition. BTW, I made my first bet in favor of England for the opening match.

I'd personally go for the good ol' Ronnie O'Sullivan. If youve watched snooker, youll know that he's got it all. Dominant in the world of snooker for the longest time possible and he's got the style as well. Trick shots and angles that one wouldnt even imagine.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is my choice as well. But I think BBC would go with the most popular option, and that is going to be either Lewis Hamilton or Raheem Sterling. Ronnie is not very popular outside the snooker world. Also, being a cricket fan I would be rooting for Joe Root and Eoin Morgan as well... as they are also rumored to be in the list of probables.

Thailand is one of the countries who treats their death penalty seriously and Chad Elwartoski would be lucky if he gets away with a slap in the wrist. That's the bad thing of getting carried away with their ideal life they tend to forget that they have certain responsibilities and obligations with the law before they even continue living the life they want. With Chad being a foreigner fishing food in Thailand's EEZ I think the Thai government would be easy to point fingers on him since he is really guilty of doing it.
Unfortunately you are right. Thailand is among the few countries in the world, where the death penalty still remains as a valid form of punishment. And worse still, it can be given to individuals accused of treason and Lèse-majesté. And another piece of bad news is that the new king (Maha Vajiralongkorn) is rumored to be very conservative as far as crime and punishment is concerned.

No need to get ballistic about the 10K level. We were there some two years back, and I am not that excited thinking about it. The only thing that bothers me is whether Bitcoin will manage to survive above the 10K level or not. The last time it breached the 10K level, it could manage less than a month. Hopefully this time the situation will be different.

As bitcoin rising, many newbies will get excited on investing in bitcoin and some people will take this opportunity to make scheme just to scam newbies who don`t have enough knowledge about it.
Depends on media coverage. There will be more coverage about cryptocurrency in the mainstream media, if there is a big fluctuation in the prices. And this will result in a large number of new users investing their money in to Bitcoin. The problem is that a lot of these people will make their investments before making a proper study of the cryptocurrency. And such people are very vulnerable to scams.

If they understand the risks, then there is no need to discourage them from purchasing Bitcoins. Only two things to remember here. First, no one should expect Bitcoin to make him a millionaire in two weeks time. And secondly, those who invest their savings in Bitcoin must be aware of the fact that BTC is highly volatile and there is a real chance that they may lose all of their investment if something goes wrong.
