6921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 02, 2020, 05:02:51 PM

I doubt neither Messi nor Suarez is related to Barcelona winning all the time, of course having them on the team is really important and changes a lot of stuff but when you lack them on the squad you can't just say they are the reason why you lose neither. At the end of the deal Barcelona is a great club and they are still second in la liga so lets not act like barcelona is some 10th in the league and doing horribly they are still barcelona and some times Real just gets the league , barcelona doesn't become champions every single year, they either win it or stay second or at worst third even on the worst years.

The thing about messi however is the simple fact that dude is getting older and older, you can't expect messi to be great for another 20 years right? So maybe that decline already started, he is still one of the best players in the game but that doesn't mean he is not the messi we know 5 years ago or so.
In fact Barcelona without Suarez is struggling to keep its performance and without Messi i doubt it could hold one of the 5th first ranks in La Liga with its actual team and tactics... If Barca started without Messi and Suarez then the results would be more catastrophic...
I am not saying that those two players couldn't be replaced but changing the strategy is required for Barca without them!

Atalanta dominated this match easily.
Huge score by them as they scored 7 goals. Now they can and should focus on the Champions League game which is very important to them.
Atalanta in fact humiliated Leece, badly. 7-2...this is a training mode somehow, feel sorry for Leece since it will cause a psychological trauma..
BTW Roma is leading now 2-1 after its comeback

both matches today are 7+ goals, which is rare and strange, Atalanta is totally strange team, they could score five goals with ease, but also conceive many goals on the other end, but with number of goals it is great to watch matches
Yeah that is rare. Didn't continue watching Roma game since i was pretty sure Roma will win but ending 4-3 was awesome and luckily Roma did it finally lol!
I wonder how and when the rest of the games will take place? Many teams still lack 1 or 2 games, with Corona spreading more and more, playing with spectators or not?
6923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 01, 2020, 11:10:16 PM
Honestly, Real was stronger today and deserved to win. It's very difficult for me to say these words as hardcore Barca fan.
In first half Barca played dolid and had few chances to score. But second half was totally dominated by Real. High intensity and very active pressing gave result. It can't be justified how much freedom Braithwaite give for Vinicius when he scored a goal. And unfortunately, it wasn't day of Messi.
Real is again on the top of table by 1 point. 12 games remains and end of season will be very hot.
Barcelona's performance is at its lowest this season due to injuries, manager(s?), bad tactics based mainly on whether Messi is on his best skills that day or not...but 2-0 is a little bit harsh for Barca psychology!
BTW I think ATM draw VS Espanyol is more shocking since they lost the opportunity to tie the score of Sevilla...
6924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 01, 2020, 07:43:10 PM
I just realized today the El Clasico match. Really surprised today, I hope Real Madrid doesn't lose points in this important match. Because this is a great opportunity to take back the first position of the Spanish league. even though Real Madrid have had poor results in the last two matches.
Same didn't pay attention that El Classico will be played today, in fact i was focusing on Italy serie A reported games due to Corona Virus and EPL chaotic games this weekend..
Better for Real Madrid to win tonight so they can keep a chance to get the first place in La Liga

Damn, Spurs got behind 2-3 meanwhile United draw 1-1. These two clubs seem like bettor's worst nightmare. So unpredictable!

Anyway, the title race is over so that I feel less entertained watching this EPL. Does anyone feel the same?
Not only these two clubs are Bettors' worst nightmare but barely all games this weekend were atypical!
Starting with Liverpool loss VS Watford which was a catastrophic failure, Leicester fail, Chelsea draw, in a little degree West Ham winning VS Southampton then today games were also miserable for them... Man United tied to Everton 1-1 and missing a chance to get closer from Chelsea, also Wolves comeback VS Spurs after 1-2 in the first half to 2-3 at the end was quite unpredictable...
Points getting stretched and the battle for 3rd to 5th ranks is getting warmer, nice Wink
6927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 29, 2020, 11:16:29 PM
I do not think Arsenal invincibles are the premier league greatest, this should be given to manchest united quadruple winners, who won 3 consecutive league titles.
Every team record is great in its own way.
Just like the Barcelona Sextuple or Real Madrid's consecutive Triple conquer of Europe. You can't say this one is the greatest and the other are not because we get to see such things once in a lifetime in most cases.

Liverpool should break the points gap i suppose.
They should, thou legend has it that when an unbeaten run goes crumbling, the opposing teams sort of get confidence to play against the originally unbeatable team leading to more losses. Let's see how Liverpool plays out the remaining matches.

Arsenal seemed quite relieved that their Invincibles record stayed intact  Grin

Unless Man City decided to follow the trends of this weekend and lose their game VS Arsenal (which is delayed BTW) then VS Man United
6928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 29, 2020, 09:38:24 PM
Wake me up... Cry
I didn't watch the game since i supposed it will be an easy one-sided game for Liverpool. I take a look on it, saw 3-0 and said the board isn't showing right the score, they switched Liverpool by Watford. I had to verify who scored to convince myself that Watford is actually leading Liverpool with 3-0. I left literally at this point.
What a horrible day... Wonder know is there anyone won something from a bet?
6929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 29, 2020, 05:50:44 PM
I believe Chelsea will win tonight with Bourneouth and will pursue Leicester points that continue to suffer if Chelsea really wins tonight then the difference in points will be a little hopeful that Chelsea to overtake Leicester will be even easier.
I have bet on this match that hopefully on the weekend there will be luck with the right score and I have placed it in the gambling.
My condolences for your money and the money of everyone placing a bet for Chelsea in this game...
Chelsea scored then a comeback from Bournemouth then they are lucky to get out with a draw!!!
Now we are not talking about Chelsea threatening Leicester position but about Man United, Tottenham, Sheffield +/- Wolves threatening Chelsea fourth position!
Losing such opportunity to get close from the third rank is a big waste and Chelsea will regret it for sure..
6930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 29, 2020, 05:41:33 PM
I think it is not only that they do not want players to get infected (which I am sure plays a big role) but it is also probably if even one infected person goes to the game there could be THOUSANDS of people who got infected there as well because of how quickly it could spread out in a closed space. So I think there is a good reason to close the games.

Now, do not forget that I am not Italian and I do not support any of the teams so maybe I am just too impartial and only care about the possible virus outbreak and I don't care if a team has a home court advantage or not, I don't even care about who will be the champions because that is not as important as compared to getting a whole coronavirus outbreak in the nation.
They cancelled Venice festival too to avoid having thousands of people infected also. And if the number of people getting infected will continue jumping then they will limit the use of public transport or close factory if necessary not only football games.

Anyway Lazio is doing well, they are the first in the rank temporarily waiting for Juve missing match!
6931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 29, 2020, 08:44:05 AM
When will you be competing like this? if it continues to drag on, Serie A won't be liked anymore to watch.
Don't worry, if Corona Virus will continue spreading like this, Serie A will be suspended or cancelled this year. If it spread across Europe, like what happened to Italy, then other series will continue playing without spectators and risk being postponed/cancelled...
Football is in critical situation nowadays..
6932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 29, 2020, 08:39:05 AM
Arsenal really didn't have luck.
I really doubt that greek team can make new  surprise against another English club.
Getafe really surprise us all but I'm sure that Inter will pass.
Sevilla - Roma I think chances are 50/50 and Manchester is favorite now not only against Linz but also to win EL.
Surprises may occurs in every competition for sure but Arsenal didn't have a stable performance more than luck. Same goes for Man United, it may have a chance in games with two matches but that doesn't mean it can pass if it will face Roma or Inter for example. Their performance is laggy too.
6933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 28, 2020, 11:04:06 PM
I read up this news on official juventus[1]. "Juve-Inter to be played behind closed doors" and was confirmed by Lega Serie A.
I wonder what the odds were before the news came out. Currently Juventus to WIN @2.26 and Inter @3.45. I'm asking because now that the we know that there won't be any fans in the stadium, the psychological advantange (home advantage) won't be there, it'll be kinda like a neutral ground now.

And after watching Juve versus Spal and Lyon, i honestly feel like Inter are the favorites, they're just playing so bad lately :/

For now, 4 games will be played with no spectators.
This number can increase till we reach Sunday.
Juve vs Inter is one of those games, what about the other three?
Total of 5 games AFAIK:

Juventus VS Inter
Udinese VS Fiorentina
AC Milan VS Genoa
Parma VS SPAL
Sassuolo VS Brescia

He ain't playing tonight, i'm not exactly sure why but it's probably an injury. Good thing the Majestic7 promotion didn't have this game on the list 'cause i would've gone with Vardy as goalscorer.
I would do the same if Leicester was a choice. It seems he has a calf injury.

The first half was boring but in the 2nd half Leicester is playing better but could not able to score yet. There was one by VAR saved Norwich I guess.
To make things even better Norwich is leading with 1-0, as expected from this game...
If Leicester will continue like that, its third place will be questionable
6935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 28, 2020, 08:58:37 PM
tomorrow Leicester will face Norwich
Not tomorrow but in this evening. I am going for 2 - 1, Leicester to win. Vardy might find a goal since he has not scored in the recent times. Imagine a player has 17 goals from 25 apprentice but last goal was on December 12th against City and before that he has at least one goal in every match.

Vardy has not scored in last 7 constitutive PL matches and all together (including all leagues) it's 9 matches excluding the 4 matches he did not play.
Indeed Leicester is facing right now Norwich but the score untill now is 0-0.
I think 1 goal in this game is the best thing that could happens, Leicester has slightly better chances but Norwich could surprises us too. Not very promising game imo

Guys, Arsenal had a bad season but in 2020 they were actually back on track, kind of... I think they didnt lose a single game in 2020 until yesterday?! I think Olympiacos can still beat anyone, especially at home. Lets see. Smiley

Lol, on a more football note arsenal did not lose the match
Because literally, the europa league knockout stages was recorded in  aggregrate score.

i.e ARS 2 VS OLY 2, OLYMPIACOS goes to the round of 16 on away goals rules, after a 2-2 aggregate draw.
A draw against Olympiacos is equivalent to losing the game for Arsenal.
Even if Arsenal made it, they will not go to far with such a team for sure...

They lost 1-2 after extra-time didnt they? Thats literally a loss in my opinion - not that it matters anyway. Smiley
Yes they lost but he means the total score (first + second matches) was a draw 2-2

Round of 16 draw will be tomorrow, in case someone wants to know.
I just want to know whether Arsenal name will figure on the list or not. Also I want to know if they ever get ashamed from their fluctuant performance or not...

Edit: Arsenal scored, Aubameyang hopefully as usual. Few minutes to go!
Last minute goal from Al Arabi so Arsenal is also out of Europa League with this lost good fight back by Olympiacos Piraeus after losing first league at home.
Yeah, unbelievable. Wonder know how many is saying beautiful words about Arsenal from fans and bettors. I had to quit when the other games finished but I ruined my night thanks to Arsenal...

6940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why the market is still bearish (nothing to do with the Corona virus) on: February 27, 2020, 10:15:17 PM
I agree with OP in regards to how the price isn't related to coronavirus. But i disagree on how it's all in the charts. Charts only show past data, and at best a current ticker. There's no way to forecast prices with accuracy simply from that. In fact, many argue that price forecasting isn't possible in general and especially with how bitcoin is unregulated, its markets are purely responding to demand and supply...
Corona virus, at the opposite, will make people very sceptical about papers, gold and every materials, so they will push them to use non-physic money including bitcoin. Actual price drop is related to traders trying to grab some profit from the high price lately..

Coronavirus will be good for bitcoin as long as the truth about it wont come out, and people buy the panic promoted by the media. With the avoidance of paper money and even debit cards, some people might run to crypto, injecting new money into it.

Problem is, the lesser whales will keep gambling with futures, trying to push the price down, like the greedy bears they are.
Pushing the price a little bit down in the actual world crisis is in fact good.
Now we have a profitable coin, that has actually a "low" price and this price will increase soon especially after the halving + people are getting afraid from physical materials = more people joining the wave  Wink
