6923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Jose Haro on: September 11, 2020, 01:56:07 PM
Sorry brother wasn't able to see your thread,  Grin.

I think this is an easy fight for Mark here, probably KO in the mid to later round. He has all the tools, power in both hands, tough chin, although needs to polish like his foot work, but I don't see Jose Haro beating him at this point.

But I don't think that Magsayo will be next on the list for Gary Russell. Him and Devin Haney has been going on social media, lol. I think this two will likely fight next.

Added trivia: Did you know that Jose Haro almost killed someone in the ring? He fought Daniel Franco in 2017 and it was a brutal knock-out (that's his first KO in his career). It was so brutal that Franco went into comatose after the fight and needed surgery to stop the brain bleeding.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCf-sur8N4Y

Although Daniel Franco survived and alive today but he can still feel the effects and has stop boxing already because of the accident.

6924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz on: September 10, 2020, 11:59:53 PM
Odds are already in guys, as per Nitrogen:

Davis odds? Not attractive, but it's obviously that Tank is the favourite, so it you wanted to get huge returns, you need to get as much money that you can bet as you can.
6925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Inoue vs. Moloney - October 31 on: September 10, 2020, 11:31:13 PM
So a couple of you mentioned a few bucks, I tried to find PPV prices for this match but couldn't, how much will it cost to watch it ? I found other matches that cost 65$ or even 80$ (Wilder vs Fury), not exactly "a few bucks" in my view !

For hardcore boxing fans, I would say that they are willing to shell out that kind of money just to watch a good fight. Yes, I understand your concern, in this pandemic that is already huge amount. But just like in gambling, you can't stop them to gamblers isn't it. They will always find a way to continue with their habits, regardless of the amount they are willing to lose.
6926  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Missed Opportunities During The Defi Boom on: September 10, 2020, 11:21:13 PM
6927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 10, 2020, 10:52:57 PM
Of course, when we gamble, we always wanted to win some money, well there are players that says they play to have some fun, but I do believed, that in order to have fun enjoyment, you have to win. I also been gambling even prior to crypto, and I will say that I have a lot of ups and downs that really affected me financially. But I have matured from the years of playing, I just stick to sportsbet now but sometimes I do play my favourite game of slots, but that's just it.
6928  Economy / Service Discussion / {Warning}: Exodus phishing website in Google on: September 10, 2020, 10:24:55 PM
Similar to what @ScamViruS posted here, Atomic wallet's phishing website is being promoting in google's ads, Google ads are being hijacked by cyber criminals now. It is obviously unranking the real website because this criminals are willing to pay money just to get their phishing website on top of Google's page. Not just Exodus, but you can see there is another entry for Atomic Wallet again.

So combination of human and automation evaluation? Of course this criminals, can hide or cloak their ads, but at least Google should check it again once they are going to displayed it.
6929  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto Friendly trading app Robinhood being probed by SEC for Civil Fraud on: September 10, 2020, 09:42:19 PM
I don't like to used the world "crypto friendly' because that is subjective, imo.

Going back to the subject, every crypto related services has already attracted the attention of SEC obviously, and just months after the suicide of one of Robinhood's customers, here come SEC suing them. Let's see what will be the initial pleading of Robinhood, as they might settle this out of court if permissible.
6930  Economy / Speculation / Re: If market crashes, BTC will crash twice as hard. on: September 10, 2020, 09:21:21 PM
For the record, bitcoin drop to as low as $3k in March, wiping out more than 50%, so yes it is technically a crash. But it has recovered nicely, even getting as high as $12400, however the price is not sustainable. And recently we have around 15% crash going into $10k. But remember this crashes, like in March was due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and we could say the oil wars.

However, as I have mentioned, even if bitcoin crashes, if had recovered to more than x3, so it crash twice as hard, but rebounded while traditional markets is still on the recovery and majority of them are underperforming.
6931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 09, 2020, 11:59:08 PM
Two blockchain security firms have warned that the creators of a DeFi contract on the EOS network may have fled in what appears to be an exit scam.

https://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-security-firms-eos-defi-locked-crypto

What do you expect? This is 2017 repeat of ICO pulling an exit scam here and there. Investors should learn their lesson from the past and not repeat it. It's good that a third and independent party has warned us, but it is already too late as the website is no longer accessible, (first sign of an exit scam). And then those who lost their money will blame crypto currency as a whole for their foolishness.

6934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Inoue vs. Moloney - October 31 on: September 09, 2020, 10:41:03 PM
What about the money ? Is it possible to earn as much money for the promoters during these difficult times of a global COVID19 pandemic ? Do people have the spare cash to spend to watch a boxing match ?

There are still money to make in this pandemic, but unlikely that it will still huge as compare to no virus and fans watching the fight live, PPV, live gates, promotions. I'm sure there are fans that are going to watch Inoue, regardless if we are in a pandemic or not, because he is fun and exciting to watch.

@Ryker1 - this fight is next month, maybe you are talking abut the Casimero vs Micah in about 20 days from now.

Very uncanny resemblance isn't it?

I would like to think that maybe they hire https://worldbranddesign.com or Pro IT solutions, but I can't find any that says they have such a customer. Wanted to give them a tweet, but thinking, I'm not going to wait my precious time with this criminals, this is obvious ponzi scheme.

Siyempre nandyan parin yung paborito nating MEW at MyCrypto.

6938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz on: September 06, 2020, 11:17:09 PM

So he knows that Santa Cruz is a volume puncher and he is prepared for it. So volume vs accurate and hard puncher. A classic brawler vs technical fighter here.

The problem is that Sta. Cruz doesn't have a pop on his punches and I don't think it will be enough as Davis have shown that his chin can handle it. If Sta. Cruz could have that sting, similar to Pacquaio during his prime and hitting you at any angle, then he has a chance against Tank. Another thing to mention is that he is not that fast at this weight, Davis is, so Tank can elude and escape and he is too technical as well, with Floyd as his trainer or at least giving him pointers.

Agree, if Leo's punch has just enough sting then maybe he will be an elite fighter by now. But he turns out to be the usual Mexican brawler. Pacquaio is very different though, it has power and the angle.

Tank and Floyd is not even comparable though, and for sure fans here like Tank's style more than Floyd. Again, not to take away anything from Leo, but he doesn't have the tools to upset Davis here. Volume punching will not be enough.
6939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something unexpected needs to happen? on: September 06, 2020, 07:52:24 PM
A quick and simple analysis on how YFI situation could recover bitcoin believers to get back in the game and ride bitcoin to the new ATH just like what YFI did yesterday.

Strong message. There's a lot of space to grow!

Definitely, a lot of leg room to wiggle again.

$50k or even $100k isn't something taboo now.
Bitcoin is a place for believers isn't it?

Yes, just like when predicting $20k is taboo in 2017, (no one actually believed) but it seems investors is now seeing a major price in 2021, ranging from $30k-$50% estimates, which is conservative numbers to 6 digits figure, based on stock to flow model.
6940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: September 06, 2020, 07:27:31 PM
I have seen bounty hunter doing well, I have also seen people who do not participate in bounty and are making it well with trading alone, but I have never seen anyone around me being involved in mining, I learnt mining is more risky and cannot just be done alone, and if you even attempt it probably with your android, you may end up wasting your time and not even making it as the traders and hunters. It tend to take a massive effort to be successful in mining, you need good electricity, good mining wallet, computer with good capacity, and some other gadgets. Considering all this, which of all the participation do you see as least demanding and easiest?

Bounty hunting could have been profitable in 2017, when all the hype around ICO thing. Mining through cellphone? as you have said it's just a waste of time. And you are late if you think you can solo mine. Almost everyone here trades, because that's the where the money is. Of course, you can try staking if you wanted to get yourself into alt markets, but there is a huge risk. So I will prefer trading, at least you have total control, it might take some time for others to learn the tricks and trade, but it's gonna worth it specially if you seen money coming in.
