How about poor people? They don't have anything to buy their stuff, and can't be hired to work by any companies because the job had been done by robots.

This is a wrong argument. Technology (indirectly) helps to create more jobs, than taking them away. Look at the United States and the European Union after computers were widely introduced in the 1990s. The unemployment rate actually went down, productivity increased, and the average wages increased by many times.

Yes because in 1900s the computer need a human as operator. But, what can you do if the operator is changed to a robot? All of humans job will taken by the machines. I'm not talking about science fiction movie like "Terminator" or "I, Robot", but it's possible to happen in future.

Is he the gangster leader?
How could an ex cop became a cop's enemy?
It's can change people's perception to police.

It's good news for customers, bad news for McDonalds employees.
For customers, the service from McD will be faster, cleaner, and tidier. Yeah McD has served us so fast with the employees, but customers feel better with quicker service.
For employee, it's bad. There are so many work that have been done by machines. And we can say, robots fired employees.

These types of jobs are going to become redundant over the next decade so people are really going to need to acquire other skills. I actually think the technology will be better overall and will save money for many businesses but that's just bad luck for employees. All industries evolve and some become redundant or next to redundant but that's just the nature of commerce. Look at taxi drivers. They're going to become wiped out by uber and even they will become wiped out by robot drivers or driver-less cars http://spectrum.ieee.org/transportation/advanced-cars/meet-zoox-the-robotaxi-startup-taking-on-google-and-uber

The technology maybe give more profit to the business owner, because the business will run constantly with automatic programs than had employees who could get sick, tired, or lazy. Yeah, bad luck employees. Maybe the future world will be lived by rich people that can had so much money to buy technology for their life and business. How about poor people? They don't have anything to buy their stuff, and can't be hired to work by any companies because the job had been done by robots.
6944  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: May 21, 2015, 11:35:44 AM
I use my bitcoin to trading with alt coin and fiat exchanging.
Sometimes I use to gambling in sportsbet  Grin
6945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin to you??? on: May 21, 2015, 11:22:40 AM
For me, bitcoin is universal crypto currency. You could do any transaction with that, like gambling, fiat exchanging, and buying something just from your computer or smartphone. Be rich is not the main function from bitcoin, it just one of the benefits if you have skill in trading.

6949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: May 20, 2015, 06:21:12 PM
I’m from Australia. A lot of my acquaintances have hear about BTC, but almost no one use it because they think bitcoin is a scum or they don’t understand it.

I once told my Economics teacher about bitcoin and she ended up asking me whether it is a scam or not. I told her about the coin's price volatility, the ATH that happened on November 2013, and the bad stuff about it among others. She couldn't comprehend to the technical stuff about bitcoins so I went on explaining it the noob way. Different stuffs, concepts, pros and cons about bitcoins and in the end, she'll end up asking if it's a scam or not. Sad Maybe people aren't ready yet on accepting new things and concepts that are against the norms of this society.

I think there are too much easy money out there like ponzi and everthing that come out suddenly or if they havent heard before they will relate it to ponzi so nowadays people is lack of believing things like bitcoin too. I ever asked my friend about this bitcoin since he never heard it before and he started to say this scam and everytime I play or post something he will force me not to play this again. So I think we need to change their mindset about what bitcoin is

yeah actually i was liked that before know bitcoin. My friend always told me what the bitcoin is and anything we can do with that, and I just say nerd nerd blah blah. And now, here I am with whole bitcoin users.  Smiley
6950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 20, 2015, 06:14:07 PM
bitcoin is a digital currency . it is money in the digital world. inorder to make it stable currency it should be utilized by many number of people for a longer time. when something becomes famous it is automatically used by several other people. the government will recognize its value when the whole world starts using it and hence it will be stable.

When the government has recognize bitcoin, he will ask the high tax for that. Government always make a tax for anything from his people. I think bitcoin doesn't need intervention from government.

Well we might be losing the truck drivers but that will open a new job up again... Full Service gas stations.  Unless they make a robot that pumps the gas into these automated trucks  Undecided

yeah all of your work will be done by machines. you just sitting, playing, watching, eating, and sleeping. Or maybe you will get in a robot that do all of yours and you do nothing, just sit and get fat liked people in Wall-E movie.  Grin
6952  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Waco Biker Shootout - 9 Dead, 170 Arrested on: May 20, 2015, 03:31:31 PM
There was a huge shootout between rival biker "clubs"- namely the Bandidos, Cossacks, and Scimitars - this past Sunday in Waco, Texas. 9 dead, 18 injured, and now 170 arrested being held on $1million bail:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/waco-texas-biker-shooting-caught-video/story?id=31143743

Quote
Texas authorities issued a bulletin to law enforcement agencies earlier this month warning of increasing violence between two rival biker gangs blamed for a shootout outside a restaurant in Waco that left 9 people dead.

The May 1 bulletin, obtained by ABC News affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas, said there had been skirmishes and talk of war between the Bandidos and Cossacks for months.

The bulletin was issued by the Texas Joint Information Center run by the Texas Department of Public Safety. It said the conflict might stem from Cossacks refusing to pay Bandidos dues for operating in Texas and for wearing the Texas patch on their vests without the Bandidos' approval.

Waco police said today that 170 suspected gang members were arrested after the meeting between the rival gangs at a restaurant Sunday turned into a deadly brawl, and many are being charged with engaging in organized crime.

They were ordered held on bond of $1 million for each suspect.

Eight people died at the scene at the Twin Peaks restaurant and one at the hospital, in killings Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton characterized as capital murder "because of the number of victims that were killed in one episode here."

Eighteen people were taken from the scene to hospitals, mostly for gunshot and stab wounds, Swanton said at a news conference. Everyone involved was a gang member, police said.

"This was a true gang fight that occurred at this location," Swanton said earlier Monday, adding that the people involved were using "bad-guy weapons" such as brass knuckles, knives and guns.

Police originally reported that 192 people were arrested, but Swanton later said the number has been revised to 170. Swanton added that the exact number of arrests still could change.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/dead-150-detained-biker-gang-gunfight-waco-texas/story?id=31117791

As a side note, Sgt Swanton of Waco PD said: “...one of the most violent scenes I've seen in my 34 years as a police officer in Waco...”  Ummm, what about the David Koresh/Branch Davidian ATF/fed bloodbath? Guess he missed work that day...

I think this issue has not finished yet. The biker clubs still can't decide who the winning side is because "interrupted" by police. The battle maybe can happen again when the gang members be released from jail.
6953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China Plans First Ever Landing on the Dark Side of the Moon on: May 20, 2015, 02:58:46 PM
I don't think that they have the technology to do all this. Most of their space technology is stolen from various countries, especially from the former USSR. Right now, only two countries are capable of conducting manned missions to the moon. They are the United States and Russia. China is a long way off.

You're right, US and Russia could do that. But don't underestimate China just because it often imitates technology from other countries. Chinese is one of the most genius man and China has made many space mission before.
6954  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Woman Attempts To Smuggle 8-Year-Old African Boy Into Spain In Suitcase!!! on: May 20, 2015, 02:43:40 PM
Most probably it's the boy's father itself who sold his son to this woman. Shame on him as a father.

Don't know how many children are sold daily in different countries and when parents do it to their kids, it's far more worse than when the kids get kidnapped.

I don't think so
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the news said his father live in Canary Island, Spain. How can he sold his son to the woman, and brought the kid to Spain where the father do live.

6956  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Commandos Kill Senior ISIS Leader on: May 20, 2015, 05:20:19 AM
I don't think the war between ISIS and US can end easily. Aren't you curious where ISIS get the weapons?
http://www.pri.org/stories/2014-06-17/where-are-islamic-militants-iraq-getting-their-weapons-answer-surprised-us

Code:
Many of the weapons used by the Islamic militants known as ISIS were simply captured from its enemies in Syria and Iraq. But ISIS also has foreign backers — some of whom are "friends" of the US.

If ISIS lose, so the "friends" lose a customer. Is there a conspiracy behind it?
6957  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Self-Driving Trucks Are Going to Hit Us Like a Human-Driven Truck on: May 20, 2015, 04:58:00 AM
I'm just wondering if one day this self-driving trucks will be developed more and change human-driven truck, is there human who can drive a truck? Or if there is a self-driving cars in future, so will humans don't need to learn about how drive a car again? I'm curious  Grin

If every bakers in the world convert to islam they will NEVER lose any business or pay any fines. That's simple.

I think this is can't related to religions matter. It's just about professionalism. I think there are some Christian people who never discriminate any other community or society. In Australia http://www.australianmarriageequality.org/a-majority-of-christians-support-marriage-equality/
