You do realise that almost every online game online is based on the concept of "RNG picks a number" and spits it out as your result right?

This is the same for blackjack, roulette, slots. How that RNG works out is different, but everything else is visualisation.

Shall we stop calling these blackjack/roulette, slots etc.?

Getting a digital visualisation of a 100,000-sided die shouldn't be a problem at all, if you ever become boss and insist on such things.

Now, if I put six 10-sided dice next to each other as a visualisation for you on a 0-100,000 "dice game", will you be satisfied?

No because you will get 1 000 000 numbers(000 000 to 999 999), not 100 000  Grin Moreover OP was speaking about 10 000 numbers games like freebitcoin, not 100 000  Grin  Grin

First of all thank you very much for all the comments! Grin Grin Grin

This is the first time I have published a poll here and although the topic is exciting, I did not expect to develop such an interesting discussion.

I saw a lot of comments to about  not mentioning enough games, right! But I specifically chose the ones I love the most.

I saw a lot of talking about making money in gambling, let's just say that impossible in my opinion.

There is no such fun and excitement like gambling in the world! But making money?

At least I can attest that I lose it all Roll Eyes, but the fun is just worth every penny.

Some love to smoke, some love to fuck I love to gamble!

So finally I promised to tell you what my favorite is, so Crash is for sure !!!

I also wanted to post a website here that I usually play and tell me what you guys think about it, maybe there are better ones I don't know.

I shortened the link: https://bit.ly/3giA9zL

 Kiss

Thank you for the link of your favorite game, but what is the house edge there please?
Moreover you should be careful because I don't think it's provably fair : they only provide hashes after the game is over and they don't provide a "final hash" of a generated hash chain to compare with like the classical crash games.

6946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you pick slots? on: May 29, 2020, 08:49:03 PM
For me these are the main points that I look up to when choosing slot games.

  • Trusted site that has many users
  • High jackpot prize but with not so big stake
  • Game ambiance and graphic quality, which you are gonna enjoy it aside from the prizes and rewards
  • Got a lot of bonuses and enticing free spins
  • Highly intuitive and less glitch and error

So far these. I am currently playing coindragon games but soon I'll check out Bitcasino line up slots as thus platform is highly trusted. Heard a lot of promotions too.
Highly intuitive games are often for noobs and less interesting for elaborating strategies and exploiting inefficiencies. BTW you didn't mention house edge in your criteria, it's not important for you?

Plus, having more money usually brings in more money as well. For 20 bucks interest per day I need a lot more money (I don't how to calculate it honestly) but I feel like its a reachable and believable amount.
The daily interest is 0.0109589% of your balance. For earning 20 dollar (=0.0021 BTC) per day, you need to have (0.0021/0.000109589) = 19.16 BTC.
A little bit less than that in fact, since interests are compounded here : you earn 20$ more of BTC each day delivering interests in turn.

If you haven't seen, a black man named George Floyd was detained by Minneapolis police and died while an officer had his knee placed on the back of his neck.

Please mention that's a NSFW content. Thank you

You forgot to check out what they were doing. They were doing police-like backup for some guys who were protecting a store. Why were they doing it? Because the police couldn't get there. In America, this is common... help the police and your fellow people. You sound more and more like a deplorable everyday.

George Floyd Worked Security At The Same Nightclub As The Officer Who Killed Him

A bizarre twist in the murder of George Floyd was reported on Thursday night, as a former club owner in south Minneapolis revealed that Floyd worked at her club as a security guard, alongside recently fired police officer Derek Chauvin, the man who killed him.

Club owner Maya Santamaria says that the two both worked the same security shift at El Nuevo Rodeo club on Lake Street, before the business was sold a few months ago.

"Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open. They were working together at the same time, it's just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside," Santamaria told KSTP.

However, Santamaria said that she can't be certain that Chauvin and Floyd knew each other, because often over a dozen security guards working at the club on any given night.

Still, they did work overlapping shifts, and the fact that one man ended up killing the other should justify further investigation into whether or not the two had a prior relationship.

If Chauvin and Floyd were not meeting for the first time in the moments before Floyd's death, that could potentially mean that there was a deeper motive behind the murder.

If true, this could make the difference between a manslaughter charge or a murder charge.

As of right now, no other evidence of a prior relationship has been revealed, but this is an extremely strange coincidence, which would be cause for serious suspicion in any other circumstance.

Is there any way to prove house edge is 1%?
Yes! RHavar has just explained it in another thread :

Thank you very much for these very precise and clear clarifications RHavar.  Smiley

But now, I don't understand why you're dividing "97" by this number :
crash = Math.floor(97 / crash);

I'm sorry for these questions but I'm trying to understand how that works.
TYVM RHavar

So the first thing to note is that a final outcome of 123 means a multiplier of 1.23x. So `123 / crash` is easier to reason about if you think of it more like `1.23/crash` in maths terms. And as we already discussed, `crash` is evenly distributed between 0 and 1. So if you wanted to simply turn it into a multiplier you'd do:   `100 / crash`  ... but no casino is going to do that, as they need a house edge for themselves. I know bustabit effectively uses `99 / crash` to make a house edge of 1%, but rocketpot is using `97 / crash` which is going to result in a significantly higher edge (of which some will be used to fund the bonuses/jackpots/other benefit thats bustabit might not have).

It's the "99" of
Code:
// 4. X = 99 / (1-X)
  X = 99 / (1 - X)

You should have added the part on the house edge in the comments of your code IMHO, in order to allow people to easily compare the house edge between the different crash games "clones"   Wink
6952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 05:05:52 PM
So my question here is, if you are a person who is willing to donate, what choice would you rather use:

  • Participate in special charity programs or
  • Have a permanent possibility to donate straight on the casino site?
You can create a poll just by clicking the link "post new poll" instead of "new topic" at its left. It would be more interesting to get the opinion of more people than just posters IMO.
6953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop calling it DICE. on: May 29, 2020, 04:45:15 PM
I am amazed why it is called DICE gambling when it has nothing to with dice. RNG picks a number and thats all where is the dice in that. Normally  you have to choose in between 10000 numbers not like dice which has only six sides. Apart from that there is no visual animation corresponding to dice throw still there is picture of dice and it says ROLL, and I say LOL.
It's a good comment but when you play dice in real life you are absolutely free to roll as many dices you want.
Playing with 10 000 numbers as you say, is just virtually rolling 1 666 dices at a time.  Smiley
10 000 / 6 = 1 666
6954  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot Seed Event on: May 29, 2020, 04:31:15 PM
Hello
I'm sorry but I don't understand that part

       // Step 3. Calculate crash = r / 2^52, uniformly distributed in [0; 1)
      const twoPower52 = Math.pow(2, nBitsToUse);
      let crash = r / twoPower52;

I don't understand why we need to divide this number by 2^52?
The result will always be <=1, no?

I think I'm the original author of this, as it appears to be copied from bustabit. I was just trying to convert a sha256 hash into a number between 0 and 1 (and then turn that into a multiplier). The most obvious and correct way to do this would be simply get the hash (as a number) and then divide by 2^256. But as the original bustabit was written in javascript (both the server and client), I wanted to approximate that in a simple way. Javascript's only number type was a 64 bit floating point, which means it can only represent integers accurately up to 2^53 - 1. So the cleanest number less than that is 2^52, which is the max number if you read the 13 hex characters of a hash.

So basically the logic is "read the first 13 hex characters from a hash, parse as a number, divide by 2^52" and now you have a number scaled between 0 and 1.

But it's really just an artifacts of the limitations I was working with at the time (e.g. python if i was working in python, I would've just done divided the whole thing. Or if i was working with a language with proper 64 bit numbers, would've done that, etc. )
Thank you very much for these very precise and clear clarifications RHavar.  Smiley

But now, I don't understand why you're dividing "97" by this number :
crash = Math.floor(97 / crash);

I'm sorry for these questions but I'm trying to understand how that works.

6957  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Coronavirus on: May 28, 2020, 10:06:52 PM

6960  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Coronavirus on: May 28, 2020, 06:50:50 PM
