6961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I have learned from my arbitrage experiences with cryptoassets on: June 09, 2018, 06:08:13 AM
From your blog.

Quote
Most of the arbitrage opportunities disappear after considering exchange fees and transaction commissions.

Most of the arbitrage opportunities appear between exchanges where wallets are on maintenance, which makes deposits and withdrawals impossible.

Transaction times between exchanges cause arbitrage to become a lottery due to market volatility.

Arbitrage is better used when you have another user working with you on the other exchange. In arbitrage trading, transactions should be done within seconds. Moving Bitcoins from one exchange to another would be inefficient and a waste of time.

In the financial markets, a broker in an exchange from one country take advantage of arbitrage opportunities by working with other brokers in exchanges of other countries.

#WorkTogether

You are right, but having a partner increases the risk of being scammed by that partner.
That`s why people are developing arbitrage trading bots.I can`t say wether they work or not,but it`s better to rely on a bunch or software, inistead of another human.Sad but true.
6962  Economy / Economics / Re: How to scam people for money on: June 09, 2018, 06:02:18 AM
It`s like 50% of all Youtube channels are going to same thing.Look at Jake Paul and some other idiots.
They are bragging all the time with money, lambos and fancy cribs. Why they do this?Because it works...unfortunately.All this "look at me,I`m rich and I`ll make you rich, just buy my $49 product ot invest all your savings in my project" type of stuff makes me sick.
6963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency boost: Slovenia creates first bitcoin city in the world on: June 09, 2018, 05:54:00 AM
SLOVENIA is set to open a bitcoin city in its largest shopping mall in Ljubljana, where customers can pay for goods simply using bitcoin and cryptocurrency, operating via blockchain technology, in a world first.

Good news for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world !

I invite you to read the full article from here:
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/971527/bitcoin-news-slovenia-bitcoin-city-Ljubljana-cryptocurrency-btc

How come those news are good for BTC and the crypto world? This is Ljubljana, not New York or London.
What happend to the idea of an crypto island,or a crypto state?Nothing, because nobody was interested.
I really doubt that people in Slovenia are hardcore crypto fanatics. Grin
6964  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-08] Poland affirmed that cryptocurrency trading is legal in the country on: June 08, 2018, 06:27:13 PM
This situation in Poland regarding cryptocurrency trading is similar to 98% of the countries in the world.
It can be summarised in one sentence:"Cryptocurrency trading isn`t prohibited,BUT DON`T DO IT!" Grin
It`s kinda like smoking and drinking alcohol. You are allowed to do it,but just don`t do it. Grin
6965  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Trading BTC/Crypto for real assets/ FIAT on: June 08, 2018, 06:16:35 PM
I don`t understand the purpose of this thread. Are you asking a question?
Are you trying to explain the taxation process to other people?
Are you saying that crypto taxation can be avoided, when it comes to buying real estate in the USA?
I`m not familiar with the US laws.
6966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the word PURSE not used a lot in cryptocurrency world than WALLET? on: June 08, 2018, 06:11:17 PM
This is because Purse is feminine while Wallet is masculine. Do not forget that the globe is a Man's World. Whether we admit it not, malechavenism rules the world.

And that`s why cryptocurrencies might fail to conquer the world.Because females don`t use them.
They are too much NERD stuff and a little bit complicated for the ladies.
By the way,the word purse is used in purse.io,which is a popular platform, that can be used to buy amazon products with crypto.
6967  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5900 by late June. on: June 08, 2018, 11:29:31 AM
Hi guys,
Maybe you have noticed that we are in a bear market.
I have first predicted that BTC will hit 5900 when BTC was at at 12000. That time we went to 6400 only. Then late April I have predicted once again that btc will hit 5900 by late June due to the market conditions. People has laughed at me. However when the price decreased constantly they have forgot to laugh. They have blamed me for that. A random guy from the net. Isn't it funny? Well they banned me from cryptocompare. Hope this forum will let me to predict the reality which is 5900 by late June. Even if you like it or not. Also from early August we can expect a good bull run which will last until Middle of December.
Regards Daniel

I can`t say that we are in a bear market. The btc price actually increased from 7400 to 7600 USD,which isn`t a serious price growth.I would say that we are in a frozen market. And yes,the price might go down at the end of June.Perhaps many traders will sell their BTC holding in order to buy more EOS.
6968  Economy / Economics / Re: What factor influenced the development of cryptology on: June 08, 2018, 11:26:38 AM
The value of the cryptocurrency depends of the mining costs that were paid to mine one coin of that cryptocurrency+market supply and demand+the level of defence the blockchain has against hacks and 51% attacks.I don`t think that the term "cryptology" exists...
6969  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-08]BITCOIN WILL APPROACH THE $15,000 MARK BY DECEMBER 2018 on: June 08, 2018, 11:21:52 AM
Bitcoin will hit 15K by December?Everyone knows that. Please tell us something new.
EOS is the next big altcoin bubble in the crypto world. It will complete it`s main purpose(to make it`s developers millionaires) and it will just pop and become an ordinary altcoin, just like all the other altcoins.
6970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has now gone 173 days without a new high. on: June 08, 2018, 06:30:48 AM
The December 2013 BTC price ATH is no longer an ATH.All the older all time hights are no longer ATHs.
The only ATH of btc price we should talk about is the December 2017 price. That  1,176 days streak isn`t important at all.People are analysing the btc price movement based on historical price movements, which is wrong. The new btc ATH might happen after 20 days,or it might happen after 2000 days.Who knows?
6971  Economy / Economics / Re: Gregory Mannarino: Going to be an Awful Price to Pay for Propping Up Markets on: June 08, 2018, 06:23:52 AM
The goverment bonds market will a face a sell-off only if there`s higher inflation, that will make holding govenment bonds unprofitable.Sooner or later, this will happen, but I think it will be after a few years.
The central banks still have some instruments to use in their arsenal,in order to lower the inflation.
6972  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpanda Mandatory Verification Requirement -- What the F***? on: June 06, 2018, 11:54:59 AM
All those "mandatory verifications" will make many people to cancel cryptocurrency trading and investing.
The worst thing is that it will stop many people to enter the crypto market and invest.
About your issue,as long as you don`t have your private keys, the crypto exchanges can do whatever they want with your coins.Get a good attorney and gather more information about the owners of that exchange,so you can sue them.
6973  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency should I invest in, in 2018? Why? on: June 06, 2018, 11:47:59 AM
This thread belongs to the "Trading discussion" forum board.
OP,just make your own technical and fundamental analysis and don`t ask other people about what to do with your own money.I see that you have some sort of a trading strategy, which is good, but nobody can predict what altcoin will skyrocket soon.I like Vechain and GRAFT,but that`s just my opinion.
6974  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-5] EU Terror Funding Study: Crypto No Greater Threat Than Tdtl Currency on: June 06, 2018, 11:43:49 AM
That myth is busted. Now all the crypto haters will have to shut up about this topic. However, they will continue
crying about the money laundry and HYIP/ponzi ICO scams with cryptocurrencies involved.
The world terrorism isn`t funded with cryptocurrencies. It is funded by pertodollars, coming from Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
6975  Economy / Economics / Re: One Firm Is Way Ahead of Wall Street on Bitcoin on: June 06, 2018, 03:56:33 AM
It`s good to see more crypto investing projects being developed in the USA,however their method of keeping the private keys can be compromised.Bitcoin can be recognised as a security by the US authorities, but the BTC haters still have big influence and they won`t let it happen.
6976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Central Banks? on: June 06, 2018, 03:49:47 AM
This post belongs to the Economy forum board, not the Bitcoin discussion board.
In the beginning of  modern capitalism, central banks were private companies, who have the government`s permission to create paper money. They are created by a bunch of bankers, who were giving loans to governments.
They were created as a some sort of financial monopoly.Later, the private central banks were taken under the government control and became public institutions. Now,we don`t need them, but we can`t destroy them.
6977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent Creator Bram Cohen Attacks ICOs on: June 04, 2018, 12:31:04 PM
Because of the greed in this space, ICOs have been turned into a get-rich-quick scheme. Their value as a crowdfunding method is undisputed, imo. Regulation needs to be imposed, to allow ICOs to be the future of investments.

All the ICO devs have to be forced to invest their own money into their projects first, and then try to gather
funds via ICOs.This will be some kind of a guarantee that they are really involved into their projects and they are not creating and promoting ICO only for the money. The funds gathered from ICO have to be held by a trusted escrow and released only after the reall identity of the project devs is revealed.
6978  Economy / Economics / Re: Wage Theft is a Much Bigger Problem Than Other Forms of Theft on: June 04, 2018, 12:18:49 PM
Sometimes, the employers just don`t have enough cash liquidity or revenue to pay their employees and they have to bankrupt. Is this wage theft? Not getting paid for your work is horrible and it will become a bigger problem ,because online freelance services are growing.I know that it`s easier to get scamed by a employer, when you provide freelance services.
6979  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-04] Cryptocurrency Exchange Hitbtc Suspends Services in Japan on: June 04, 2018, 12:12:15 PM
It was bound to happen, and I am ready for plenty of more exchanges to follow.

Japan is trying to set up a firm regulatory framework that will benefit its own lovely BitFlyer, and very likely eliminate the competitors that aren't willing to go through a lengthy legal battle. It's a classic but yet very effective way to keep a market centralized.

On a more positive note, these firmer regulations help weed out the least capable exchanges, which in the end will only benefit the end user. Hitbtc is as trashy as Yobit is, and it's actually good to them exit the Japanese market. It's quite funny that Hitbtc is the world's eight largest crypto exchange, and yet it's one of the worst. Tells me a lot about how much restructuring we need to go through as industry.

Wow,this is the new crypto nationalism.Every country will protect it`s own crypto exchange platforms and ban all the foreign platforms.I remember that HitBtc is located in England.Perhaps the english govenment will forbid the british people to use Japanese crypto services. Grin
6980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Trends Analysis (or How to Predict?) on: June 04, 2018, 06:17:50 AM
From where did you get those stats about Bitcointalk forum activities and traffic? It`s pretty interesting.
What you are trying to explain with all those charts is just a normal price bubble.
The more people get interested in BTC and buy,the higher the price goes up.Price goes up,which leads to more newbies entering the market and buying btc. This is showball effect and it`s perfectly normal for price bubbles.
