701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 06, 2023, 01:18:10 PM
I'm 47 years old, and I see and hear a lot of young people talking about bitcoin, and when I asked 2 young people and I asked, can I be the same age as me to invest in bitcoin? and the young people answered, 1 of them said they could, and the other said no, and the people who answered no, they explained the reason, namely because I was old, whereas if investing in bitcoin it had to be long term.
and the other young man gave me a hint, namely for me to join this forum to ask about me, who is old, is it worth investing in bitcoin or not?

but I personally will still invest in bitcoin because in my opinion there will be no loss in investing in bitcoin even in the long term, that is because I have children, even if I may have died I think there will be no loss, because I will tell my children when I invest in bitcoin .

and I will inherit bitcoin to my kid if I die first.

I want to ask what do all my friends think about this problem?
Even though we are mostly will want you to invest in Bitcoin, you should first know more how bitcoin works. Do not be hasty. Try to learn about bitcoin as much as you can before you invest big, you know, just so you are aware about what you're investing at. Do not be too hopeful, but personally I would say that btc still has a great future ahead. That's it. Assess if you are really into investing with Bitcoin. By the way, the age part does not matter.
702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 05, 2023, 08:35:21 PM
<snip>
The arguments will be better supported and will make more sense if the person has the experience of using multiple internet forums. I'm not, one of those peopls but I have experience participating on 2 or 3 more forums in the past.
What makes Bitcointalk the best? For me it's the regulation. Next is the fact that you can earn real cryptocurrency here.

To demonstrate how irrelevant that field is, you can put in 1234567890 and it will go. Feel free to sign up by entering any information you are willing to share. The original post has been updated to clarify some of those concerns.
I can confirm. I just tried and had a successful registration.
Also, about the location-related text fields, these are not required so you we do not have to enter anything there. For the name, I just entered my account name lol, I guess it's fine, correct?

I would like to try your offer, where can we see the contact form? Would be better if you'll provide the link or the details for us. TIA.
Welcome to Bitcointalk!

Honestly, there's a lot of room for your site's improvement when it comes to design and layout.
Is Christmas really your default theme? If not, I'm surprised it's still active... It's already 5th day of January.
On games, try separate live games from slots.

Welcome to the forum!.

Hello, the business name "CoinSlotty" seems familiar to me... Are you a new casino? Or this milestone is a re-launch?
Either way, welcome to the forum. I hope to see you compete with big established brands here. More competition could mean better services. Goodluck.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 04, 2023, 03:34:13 PM
If there is a small amount I can spend? instead of buying cigarettes ? i am using the money to buy lottery tickets  meaning as I don't wanna ruin my life from smoking(that i use to do for more than 10 years) at least putting this to try my luck is a best interest and that stands that it isn't a waste of time at all instead it is life saving in my case.
That's a good scenario however it's not the same with the main reason why people try their luck on lotteries.
For that case, it became reasonable because it potentially eliminates smoking (which is bad for health and can somehow can have a negative effect with people's money).
Above all, I agree and support this.
So id you guys have to choose between lottery and smoking, forget about cigarettes.
707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My goal for 2023 on: January 01, 2023, 04:06:35 PM
Sorry but I can't help laughing 😂
It's a pretty fair analysis -- and a little wild, witty appraisal to begin the year with..... quite satisfying but seems you're exaggerating too much for a start in turns -- or atleast for a new year resolution.
Why don't you just keep calm and observe the reaction of the market towards the new year? That'd really help as you'll be able to figure out whether or not to BUY... What if the market switches by tomorrow?? You see the point... HODL as much BTCs as you wish, that's cool but I'm not really a party to altcoins( be it worthless or not).

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
I cannot see the funny part from the OP.  Haha.
I think he is aware that bitcoin might not reach $100,000 this year (2023), he has his main goal which is to accumulate bitcoin and hold them until it reached 100k. What do you mean by "what if the market switches tomorrow"? I can give an guess answer for you about that... If you mean that the market reached or surpassed $100k, then he will sell. On the other hand, he will not sell.
708  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 01, 2023, 02:38:59 PM
<snip>
Your choice. But as far as I know, you should base it from the player's wager(s) in relation to the house edge of the games he/she played.
I thought of this formula:
Bonus = {(Wagered Amount) * [(House Edge %)/ 10]}
Since games has different house edge, just classify them and get the summation afterwards.
I'm not sure if this can be applicable though. I'm just guessing base on my experience as a player.

People say that the chance for you to win from jackpot lotteries is smaller than the chance of you getting struck twice by lightning on the same spot. Odds are really stacked against you however, reward is high (that's why a lot of people are still trying even though they are aware of that).
I was also planning to do that, but probably will try it once the jackpot prize becomes higher.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you don't get the merit, the ranking won't go up? on: December 31, 2022, 05:18:52 PM
To be honest, I'm still a beginner here. and I want to ask if our ranking will not go up if we don't have merit?

please explain, and thank you
The higher the rank, the more merits you need. Also you need minimum number of activities and merits to attain each rank... So, merit is not just the thing that you need for ranking up.
You can have maximum of 14 activities every two (2) weeks (please correct me if I'm wrong), meaning if you have more than 15 posts on that time frame, only 14 will be added to your activity count. This is also the reason that most users here has more post count than activity count.
711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: December 31, 2022, 02:34:20 PM
<snip>
I'm sure not everyone wants to trade.
A lot wants to trade probably because they want to earn, but are not initially aware that trading is more complicated that what they thought. Potential profit is the peak reason why everyone do wanted to do it. On the other side, those people that has not a good run on it probably already stopped.
712  Economy / Gambling / Re: SVIP9 BC.game any value? on: December 31, 2022, 01:47:38 PM
Just wondering if my account has any value

Daily wheel gives a 2 minimum
 $1000 locked bcd
 always a few hundred here and there giveaway
20% cash back
even hitting coco gives me just under $2 every time
a bot would realistically collect you about $7.50 a day

Just wondering.
Thank you
Most of the time (if not always), selling an account is prohibited. You should be aware of that. Also, for those who are interested, you should keep that in mind.

<snip just claiming the bonuses in the casino without playing.
Is this even possible? As far as I know, you can only be continuously eligible for bonuses if you play and meet the minimum requirements.

Beforehand, I will make confirm if he/she is really serious and is open to whatever happen during the session. I will explain to him the odds from different games (e.g., slots, live games, in-house games, etc.)
If we proceed, I will play in both slots and live games such as blackjack and bacarrat. Might also try playing roullete.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 30, 2022, 09:19:15 PM
I am surprised no one is talking about this here yet, I guess it's probably because no one really knows who DK Yoo is(even I don't know who he is).

<snip>
Woah, this was 2 weeks ago already? I was not even aware that this event happened. I suppose because it's only an exhibition match.
I am watching it right now. It's a great experience for an amateur like DK Yoo, not everyone can have this opportunity. Manny could have ended the match on the first rounds, but I believe he chose not to so the game can be more entertaining.

1. I agree, but we does not have any evidence that he owns or has any connection with the  website. But to me it really seems that he actively shilling it.
2. I am well knowledgeable of how the betting with a wallet works, but I think it's not the same with depositing. What I understand is that with this process, the winnings will be directly credited to your wallet (e.g., Metamask), on the other hand, on deposit process, you need to request a withdrawal first (remember that some casinos are fraud).
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 30, 2022, 03:19:21 PM
<snip>
Gambling is really addicting. It's hard stop actually. But always try to keep yourself reminded that you should be discipline. Set boundaries. Do whatever method that can help you not to be too attached from playing. Gambling can take away your not just your money, but also your other time for other things that you also must give attention. Because of that, gamble in moderation. If you lose, it's normal to be affected, but before you play, make sure that you are well aware and you accept what and how much you can possibly lose.

It's a good feature. It's also related to a balance wherein your deposit of any accepted cryptocurrency (e.g., Bitcoin deposit) can be withdrawn with another method (Eth, Xrp, etc. or debit/credit card etc.)

Hello , Most crypto casino use Betby sportsbook like Rollbit , 500casino , bc.game , chips.gg, roobet but there are different websites that use other sportsbook provider like Altenar , Digitain or softswiss new sportsbook you can check them. I have tested most of them and i think ( Betby is the best )
I am familiar with all casino that you mentioned, except Betby how long have you been aware of them and how you discovered them?
718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the difference between bitcoin and crypto? on: December 29, 2022, 03:29:03 PM
hi friends everyone? This is my first post, and I'm not experienced in the world of crypto. I want to ask, what's the difference between bitcoin and crypto? I hope all my friends can explain to me,,?
Bitcoin is an example of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a digital currency/money, it was created so people can transact with one another away from banks or any financial entity. One objective is for us to be freed from the chains of these governing bodies.

You sure that you're not the owner or any representative of this site? I'm not saying that you are lying, but in case that you're the owner or anyone from them, you can just tell us  Grin
Anyways, no deposit needed, and directly betting using Metamask... Does it mean that the winnings will also be directly credited to our Metamask Balance?
