701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 03, 2020, 04:02:37 PM
but at least you count before take profit.
because opportunities will not come very easily, even though we know that market conditions can change at any time, so at least maximizing results is also important.
Happy new year, too.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: January 03, 2020, 03:00:04 PM
and now their prices are rising, come on this is a pure market situation you do not need to panic or overreact, even in the stock market the price has increased / decreased even though not as big as crypto.
so think calmly and start analyzing the market in case you can benefit from it.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 03, 2020, 05:16:59 AM
lack of knowledge might be the main cause if they know they won't be susceptible to scams, so no one can blame or you can't say why they are always scam.Yes because the scamer is targeting new people in crypto with their assumption that these beginners do not have much knowledge so it is easy to be incited / influenced.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: January 03, 2020, 04:24:13 AM
if theymos and moderators have to guarantee the safety of investors' money then how much should they provide lol.
here the forum where we discuss educating ourselves with each other, it might help you get out of the scam.
and regarding bounties I hope that hunters do research before joining to promote a project, stop promoting scam projects so that their space is getting smaller.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: December 27, 2019, 12:07:39 PM
just listen to what is necessary, it is not possible that everyone will listen even though there is a name experienced in the crypto world.
I don't really agree with this, it's like they indirectly ordered us what they said.
for me arghh it's very annoying.
none of them knows for sure how crypto will develop, this is just my description, no offense.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: December 27, 2019, 10:35:15 AM
bitcoin volatility will decrease when it reaches the max supply and it is still very long.
at least from the annual chart that we see even though the value is very unstable, but shows a significant increase.
yes even though the chart dropped dramatically after a severe dump in early 2018 but bitcoin is starting to show an increase again.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Holiday Merits] - Post Your Favorite Altcoin Post of 2019 on: December 26, 2019, 02:34:00 PM
this is maybe correct, because we see the function of bitcoin as only a currency or payment instrument, and there will be no further development, because satoshi makes bitcoin to make decentralized payments, so the other development will be carried out by altcoin.

708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: December 26, 2019, 12:32:22 PM
the only one? come on don't be too upset after the fire at the end of 2017.
maybe ETH is indeed one of the best alt projects, but there are still others you just need to look deeper into, I admit you might be disappointed because the bubble is very high in alt 2017.
but it's over. You should open your gaze to other projects, maybe some of the top 50 you can try.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or Scalability? on: December 26, 2019, 12:19:26 PM
if asked to choose between the two, I prefer decentralization because that is the main purpose of bitcoin made by satoshi, yes even though developing blockchain technology, but still the main goal is to decentralize everything.
there are also many cryptos that use blockchain technology that is still centralized.
or there are some countries that intend to make their own digital currency and be controlled by them.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: December 23, 2019, 06:14:46 PM
What if they are working on that but have decided to keep it as a secret? You never know.
So with all these creating their own cryptocurrencies, does that mean stable coins are taking over now? What about volatile coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, what will then happen to them when the time comes? Every country are planning on creating a digital version of their own currency and these digital currencies are mainly going to gain mainstream adoption, which will make them surpass the first cryptocurrencies we have now.

There are lots of people right now that are not interested in crypto, but when these comes, they will all start to be interested. I guess Bitcoin will just be seen as a digital gold and nothing else.

yes many countries are competing to make their own currencies, can be seen from China and may be followed to other countries if it is smooth, but yes the difference will be clear, because the average coins made by each country take the basic of stablecoin namely coins that are based on fiat currency itself such as USD, YUAN, KRW, and others depending on the country.
so bitcoin and other alts will still be there because the value is volatile.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: problem sending ETH token to exchange on: December 23, 2019, 07:45:05 AM
Make sure you have enough gas to send your tokens and review the contract and compare it with the correct contract of the token you are suppose to be sending, there are a lot of scammers out there who are selling tokens with similar names but different contract, that's something we need to careful of also.

dude, he has 1 eth in his balance so I don't think the problem is with the gas but on the contract he might have entered the wrong contract, has asked for his brother's help but always in the same situation, I think indeed on his smart contract he entered the wrong address.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Any Crypto Question - A Thread By a 6-Year Crypto Vet on: December 23, 2019, 07:31:13 AM

The market will eventually correct itself. People will also eventually keep projects in check. Self Regulation & filtering of projects is occurring, at a slow pace, but it is occurring more so than ever.

As long as there's money to be made, projects will continue to launch to the end of time. This is an industry in itself, just like the clothing industry brands and etc.

so maybe now is the time for the market to improve itself, after the high rise in 2017 and the large number of projects that came out that year until now, and now is a position of improvement where people are starting to stop investing in new projects for a while, but what if this continues, what about projects that are really good and can't be funded because people think it's a scam, is this the reality of the current crypto market where it will be very difficult to get funding for new projects.
and also some of the bounty projects that I have participated in have completed and paid their tokens and well the price was very disappointing, dropping 90% I am not surprised because it has happened for 1 year.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: December 23, 2019, 07:16:08 AM
my advice for now, do not buy alt which is under the ranking of 50 for safe 100 for the short or medium term.
or you can invest in bitcoin then you can leave it for the long term as when you left this forum for a long time.
but if you will be active and see the market situation you will surely realize what coins you have to buy.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many projects is bad on: December 23, 2019, 06:54:06 AM
still there are some investors who are determined to invest in new projects, might have thought this project was good and would succeed.
the temptation will always be there for those who are impatient and greedy.
if this method continues to be applied maybe the scam project will decrease because no one else will invest in new projects.
but what about a really good project?
I mean if everyone considers all new projects to be a scam,
then how will they develop?
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 Cryptocurrency Marketplaces on: December 23, 2019, 06:45:53 AM
thanks for the advice, i have never heard of this, maybe because i just follow airdrop and bounty so i don't focus on others.
for the payment of each article we make will be directly paid? or have other conditions to do, I want to try joining it looks interesting.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stock markets on: December 22, 2019, 03:59:08 PM
my opinion remains crypto because it can produce in a short time yes of course with a higher risk, so each has its own advantages.
stocks have increased in the long run, crypto is also like that.
it looks like crypto will be one of the most desirable investment sites in the next 5-10 years, although its application is still a little in the real world and most of it is focused on exchange.
but I am sure this will booming.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: finding investors on: December 22, 2019, 03:48:27 PM

I kinda like the idea of inserting an effort of investors not only by supervising their investment but rather taking good initiative for project development because that is their money. We're done seeing investors cry and complaint when they got scammed by unsuccessful project. This might be the solution to this existing problem, investors as future shareholders should also participate in project development.

how do investors oversee the development of the project, while on average the project is online based it will be difficult to monitor it while the investors just don't know about the team as a whole.
Your idea is good but it will be difficult to apply.
and need good results, so other projects can implement this method.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: December 22, 2019, 03:02:56 PM

My question is - will launching Libra change the statement 'cryptocurrency is not money' in better way or it'll make worse?

of course it will be money only in digital form, from the many rejections in Europe and acceptance in other countries, this will be difficult to predict, whether the launch will be no problem or European countries continue to press libra so it does not come out.
they say libra does not offer a decentralized currency but rather is centralized and controlled.
so they oppose this for this reason.

719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: December 22, 2019, 11:48:58 AM
they go in at the right time, when the market goes down is the best time to buy, don't say you will buy when the market conditions suddenly go up, because there will be a decrease after that, just remember this buy when it goes down, sell when it goes up. dont do the opposite  Tongue
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 05:06:01 AM
Things should change according to the need of time. Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash implemented different techniques to solve the (same) problem and are working on independent ways.
As an open source project, there was no ownership of the coin. So to decide which chain would retain the name Bitcoin, it was the one with the highest hashrate, larger number of miners and community.
You can fork a open source project but you can't have it's original git or claim your fork is the original one.

nah this one is right, because bitcoin is no longer being developed and will be stuck there, then bitcoin cash or other types will make new developments which will certainly advance crypto and blockchain, no matter people say imitation or something, the longer people will adapt to these conditions.
