701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Progressing adoption on: February 15, 2019, 02:25:37 AM
Lately, I have not been hearing much about Bitcoin, other than media mentioning that the value is decreasing. In addition, the transaction volume processed by payment gateways is also decreasing. I feel that adoption has come close to a standstill. What is your opinion about this?
I think we should look at benefits of Bitcoin for merchants, to increase the active circulation. For example, bitcoin is a cheaper alternative to debit- and creditcards as merchants have to pay less interchange fees. Therefore we should contribute as a community by helping merchants to implement this system in their store. Merchants could possibly attract customers by giving discounts for paying with Bitcoin. What is your idea for progressing adoption of Bitcoin?

Until there is no progress in the price of bitcoin and even the market are now down. But, now there are progress in adopting just like what I hear in the Philippines where there a bank who will launch cryptocurrecy ATM. So because of this the demand of cryptocurrencies will might increase and the market will start to rise again.

We can not force merchant to accept bitcoin as payment, its depend on government regulation. Merchant will accept bitcoin if government regulate bitcoin. Adoption will happen step by step and not too fast because bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency.
I am glad that philipines will have their own bitcoin ATM and hopely this make people more have knowledge about bitcoin and crypto

Thats good to know that many countries are now slowly adopting cryptos . whats even gooder is that they are now building bitcoin powered atm's for more easier trades  . btw ive seen alot of merchants online that are now accepting crypto as a source of payment and they didnt care at all even if cryptos are not centralize or regulated because they knew that cryptos are too useful and can boom in the future . thats why its good if they are first to suport it because their costumers can easily trust them in the future .
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Expert Opinion about Cryptomarket 2019 on: February 15, 2019, 01:23:46 AM
I will not distinguish the prediction said by an expert or even a newbie Because it's just a prediction, there is no element who will make it come true.

prediction is the same as speculation both are unreal and dont have enough evidence that their statement can come true , so you are right mate and i frankly i agree on you but i can somehow believe on an expert than on a complete noob its because experts are more knowledgeable . they already have an enough  experience about how technical stuff works  .

Back again, in 2018 how many experts said that the price of bitcoin would be soar? 50k 100k or more than that, but are there any predictions that come true.

Its cool because experts believe more about the potential of cryptos as much as an average joe . i guess they are also investing on crypto because they dont have any doubts based on what they speak  .  not only on 2018 but even today ,  many news are popping and experts are predicting that crypto can rose above 20k and above . to good to be true eh ?
703  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: February 14, 2019, 11:53:14 PM
I feel BTC  is still undergoing correction before the bull run, stability of Bitcoin will still take a while, the change in price is a norm and it is base on the law of demand and supply of  Bitcoin, we have nothing to fear the bull runis sure.

Correction is done because the price are now starting to recover and all cryptos are now in green mode  . lets hope youre right that this can lead to a bull run because we never experience it on the past 1 years ago until now , ever since we hit the year 2018  .

Quote

Price change can also be caused by the manipulation of whales , not just by the demand and supply . but yeah there is nothing to fear because all have  endings .  a bear can end  and it can soon replace by a bull  in which all of us can now harvest our gains .
704  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: February 14, 2019, 10:39:19 PM
I don’t think anyone should still be talking about spreading word about Cryptocurrency, it is already popular and a lot of people around the world already knows about it.

No its not.  Crypto is not yet popular . some countries still bans it  and some people didnt recognize it  . some have doubts of using it even if they are already aware of its existence   . we need to spread the word crypto to them in a good way  , so that they can understand its importance .

Only investors/businessmen are the ones that shows interests in it, but others don’t.

Thats not true . im not an investor nor a business man but im attacted towards crypto and as a result , i try and use it . now im verry addicted with it  .  that is the same with other people , they are also interested with crypto even if they are only a common people .

705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are traders born or made? on: February 14, 2019, 01:24:22 PM
For me most were made.   ...

so you are thinking that some really good traders are actually born ? i think no  .  because what i know is that skills and knowledge cant be inherited  . only face , appearance , health condition  are the one's that is possible  but we tend to follow what we see from our older brother , family member or to the people around us . that's the reason why sometimes people mistakin that a hobby can be inhereted .

Personally, I’ve already  visited several trainings and webinars, but i haven’t even understood how they market functions. Perhaps, I just have no talent.

you dont understand them because maybe you are not paying attention properly  on what they are whinning about . you are bored and cant foccus  .  or maybe you just need more simple explanations but dont give up too  easily . if you really want to learn it , you can learn it  . it takes some time and dedication  .
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: February 14, 2019, 10:11:47 AM
Ive heard  from other people lately that bitcoin will likely to reached 25,000$ within this year. Well i guess, because of the good news about cryptos its not possible to reach that price

same here . i oftenly see alot of news notif when i open my browser . is see that experts are predicting that the btc value could reach over 20k usd . some even predict higher than that .  i feel good and motivated after seeing those but i dont really think that those predictions can happen this year because btc value couldnt even move in its current state , how much more reaching a new ath ?
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: February 14, 2019, 09:08:30 AM
The design of the project is certainly an important condition for a good ICO. But it is not the key. It is more important to have a quality product and community support passed by KYC.
I agree with you. although that is not the main key, all aspects of a project are very important for their development. however, a good design will make many people interested in seeing, and reading it.

if thier project or product is purely made online or only accesible online ( like for ex. exchange ) then it is . design does really matter but if their product is about real world application (ex. food , hardware wallets )  then design is useless because what more important is how the product was made .

but no matter how good their design , products , team , etc..  if thier ico was known to be scam or will be end up on scamming , all are still pointless and wont make sense at all .
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: February 14, 2019, 03:46:05 AM
The way to get passive income from crypto is easy but the return is small,

the return or the profit will always depend on your capital  . if you have alot of coins in your purse then you can also expect a larger income but if you only have less coins on your balance , you cant expect to earn huge profits  .

safe way to earn passive income from crypto is by join lending in margin trading platform or buy POS coin and staking it.

i wont agree on trading but i do agree on staking .  trading is active because you are trading your coins  . staking is pasive because you are only hodling  your asset to gain interest .
709  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: February 14, 2019, 02:13:26 AM
Just letting you know that today the bear market ended for me. When will it end for you ?

woah really ? good for you then   .  for me  , i still feel the bear market .  i will only say that the bear market will subside if btc can return to 6k to 8k usd level .  bear market wont end because the bull market wont also last a long time .  they just switching positions after a designated time  .

It could be better not to think of its end nor to think for the bull runs cause it only contribute stress to our mind. We don't need to worry cause everything will be fine soon as we never know whats coming trend we might gambled. We can still make profits for now even the market price are in the declines, only we need to strategies and be smart.

that's a nice advice brother   . your correct ! we must not think of the bears or bull because these things can only make you worried  .  you cant think and decide properly if your mind is full of unhealthy thoughts . why cant we just foccus on the present as it is more important than the past or the future .
710  Economy / Services / Re: 10$/BTC for the honest review. on: February 14, 2019, 12:11:24 AM
I can't pm you as you are a newbie, your account was freshly made so it's much better to show your Bitcoin address fund and tell here the instructions  to be transparent instead of private message.

go here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=917822;sa=pmprefs   and tick the allow newbies to send pm's  .

You should pay the reviewers first, that way you can be certain the review is genuinely honest.

that is risky . how can he know that he wont  be scammed ? paying first wont guarantee that the given review is legit and honest  .
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can REGULATION Really Be Beneficial to Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2019, 11:44:30 PM
It will be depending on how strict will be the regulations, the regulations could attract more adoption, and in some case it could make the investors feel more secure about investing in bitcoin, to be honest we don't need any interference from the government, but bitcoin popularity already so big, so in order to grow bigger we need the government permit, actually bitcoin will grow better without any regulation

It will be depending on how strict will be the regulations

whenever i hear the word regulation , the first thing that comes thru my mind is strict rules .  im sure that other's also feel the same .

the regulations could attract more adoption, and in some case it could make the investors feel more secure about investing in bitcoin

yes i agree on this but many users dont also like regulation and that include's me  . i guess other's will switch on unregulated crypto's if ever btc could finally be regulated  .

we don't need any interference from the government, but bitcoin popularity already so big, so in order to grow bigger we need the government permit, actually bitcoin will grow better without any regulation

given that bitcoin popularity is already big  ,then why would we still need a regulation?  bitcoin can still grow on its own without these help of governments .  it just need to take some adequate time .
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It seems luke-jr is ready to make his own shitcoin forked version of Bitcoin :P on: February 13, 2019, 01:05:13 PM
Free shit coins again.

free money is good all the time .

@op , is this the luke jr that you are talking about ?   > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3318
713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2019 the new 2015? on: February 13, 2019, 10:00:18 AM
looking at developments in 2015 and 2019, I think that is quite far. well, I'm starting to think that this year will probably be better than 2015.

indeed .  year 2015 is where bitcoin is getting started . its not yet popular so its normal to see a verry low price that time  but today we are now on the year 2019 and bitcoin is slightly recognized by the masses  but its not exempted from the market correction . thats the reason that we still see some lows .

I will just hope for the acceptance of the ETF products as part of Bitcoin development for this year to trigger the bullrun.

bullrun can come with or without etf's  but etf can help speed up this process . the the problem is will etf finally accept bitcoin this time ? lets hope so . in the meantime  , we can also do something to help the price to recover and that is to continue buying and hodling  .
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: February 13, 2019, 08:35:21 AM
"Buy low sell high"
Just remember those phrases and you'll understand when to buy and when its not.
Now  that most are very much low, it's buying time.
After remembering this phrases, better to know what is the low/cheap prices, this can’t be done as simple as that you have to put more effort. The market is down right now because we already hit the peak, but no one knows what is the bottom price. Its a time to buy for me also but reserve some money for the dip.

agree on you crzy that buy low sell high cant be easy to initiate because we dont have an indication to tell if the value of the coin is on its lowest form or not . all what we got is a price chart to see the coins price history but this can be helpful  because we can compare and decide if the price today is lower than the price last time .

What token/altcoin you want to buy? if you will buy any from the list;
  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Litecoin
You are doing a good job.

the op said  he wanna buy tokens but the coins you list above are btc and altcoins . anyway , those cryptos were good and can be a better alternative to tokens because tokens are verry risky and cannot guarantee that they will prolong thier life span  ,.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reasons for Satoshi's anonymity? on: February 13, 2019, 07:24:04 AM
That's right, if Satoshi Nakamoto gives his identity and many people know who the mastermind behind the founder of Bitcoin, it seems that it will only make the price of bitcoin easy to manipulate and certainly Satoshi Nakamoto's life will not calm down, it is better to remain anonymous and leave nothing who knows who is actually satoshi nakamoto.

bitcoin is already maniputable and it will be the same even if satoshi reveal himself but i agree that his life couldnt be calm down because he might be recieving threats .

Why such topics are created right now, when bitcoin has some value. Why weren't you interested in Satoshi's anonymity before?

this topic isnt new .  it is already been discussed for a few times before when bitcoin is not yet popular  . its normal because people are also curious about the real identity of satoshi nakamoto  .

but it seems to me that Satoshi Nakamoto is just a fictional name

we dont confirm it yet . some says it is a code name of popular brands today . some says satoshi is a group of people  .
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: February 13, 2019, 04:22:45 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?
The rise in price has already begun, and this is the first sign of investment, and after the fork, in general, everyone will start to give new forecasts.
the market goes up only a few percent doesn't look so good , there is no sign at all that the bull run is coming, I'm sure the market situation rise just a few moments
The bull run will come but people are letting their feelings get in the way of their predictions, ethereum will go through a hard fork in just a few weeks and that will be a bullish sign to many in the market, in fact I will not be surprised if many important players are already buying all the ethereum they can to take advantage of this when the price begins to grow up during the next months.

its not just a sign but it is actually a bull run that will happen if ever eth will be undergoing on its hardfork because people could buy hundreds and thousand of eth in order to obtain the equivalent amount of fork coins on their wallets   but after this , the bull can be easily replaced by a another new bearish market since people will imediately sold all thier fork coins along with thier ether's for a profit spree .
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What aims have you lost your funds so far in crypto? on: February 13, 2019, 02:48:22 AM
Mine is exist scams ,yes i was a victim and also I like mining coins too but yet I fall victim of pump and dump coins ,so far I can boldly say if I don't go through all this I won't know better ,that is that cos its never going to happen to me ever again

you mean mining ? there are two types of them . one is cloud mining and other is normal mining   . i believe cloud mining you are refering with , because almost all of them are doing a scam exits  . popular cloud mining sites are also getting shady because many users do have alot of complaint to them  but if you will be mining coins all by your self i think you will be more safe because no one can scam you  .  you are the one that make your profit   .

For me,i have joined several ICOs but only few of them have paid well.I've realized it is very important to know the ICO well or else it will only turn as a scam and all our efforts will only be worthless .

yes . you cant just joined any ico's  that you see online because not all are legit but most of them frauds  .

For now,i'm still into some good ICOs because they are still giving me some profits

oh good for you because you still manage to choose a good one and you do continue earning on them despite of the dump market condition .

Maybe i'll do trading once the market turns green again.

this is the best time to do trades because the coins are still cheap and that does not also mean that thier sell price is cheaper . of course you can still sell them for a higher price  after doing some tricks's
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy says crypto ruined his life but he spent it on a high risk lifestyle on: February 12, 2019, 06:51:49 AM
I literally don't see that crypto has ruined his life.

crypto cant ruin live's  because its only a currency . us people are still the one that decides for our selve's , that is why we are the one to blame if we did something wrong .

With 1.66 million usd, I would have retires at the age of 30 and dedicate my entire time to my family. This fellow just spent on useless things. If I was at the same place, I would have invested it in some government backed schemes where I would earn monthly interest and pursued my passion for cooking exquisite dishes for my family.

that may seem too easy to say but it is actually hard to apply if you are on his situation  . if we have a lot of money we cant instantly forget our important plans and we only spend the money on unimportant stuff's

Now, it's always so simple to prove that you were rich at some point. Just sign with a wallet that has moved large amounts.

yeah . his post can be more belevable if ever he manage to sign a message from his multi million transaction . too bad he forgot to do it . what if he is a phony
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One year celebration of my prediction!!! on: February 12, 2019, 05:43:03 AM
crypto experts predict that if at the end of years 2018 the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 10K and they are wrong, I don't like it.

you are not the only one that see's it .  me myself do already see alot of good new's lately in which experts claim's that btc can explode in a massive growth .  unfortunately those prediction did not happen  . yes they are wrong but atleast they are helping us . they are helping the people to stay motivated in this game .  you should start loving them .

There is nothing to celebrate about. I don't why should we celebrate a mass losses.

lol yeah . its so inapropriate to celebrate and be happy about your losses  . you must feel sad and depresed at the first place  . not unless if the guy was numb or emotionless .
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 12, 2019, 04:44:52 AM
Prediction can not make us excited but will bring us doubts

whenever i hear good and positive predictions posted by users , i feel motivated and excited despite the fact that there's no assurance for it to happen  . im not doubting tho . i guess i will only  feel doubted if a prediction is negative or purely composed of bad news   .

indeed it is better to learn the market that occurs rather than having to predict

yep reality is more better than dreaming  .

Government regulations will hurt the prices more,so if there is some regulations from your country's government for using bitcoin you may need to pay more taxes to government so which causes you to leave it and just use centralized currency.
But keep asking yourself why we need regulation for bitcoin?

if you will leave crypto's because of the tax then why would you use fiat when they are also have a tax  ? you didnt know that when you use crypto , you are already been charging a fee and that is verry simillar of being taxed

Quote
But keep asking yourself why we need regulation for bitcoin?

i dont like reguation but others love it because they think this can lessen the frauds .
