701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 14, 2023, 05:32:48 AM
Sanju Samson continues to fail, despite being given numerous opportunities at this level, while Hardik Pandya also disappointed yesterday. And for yesterday's match, India had four genuine tailenders (Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mukesh Kumar). Therefore the lower order also didn't contributed much.
Yeah. Samson fans need to chill now since he is inconsistent as usual in all formats. Also, the tail-enders continue batting like crap.

Anyhow this T20 series defeat may badly impact the Indian cause in the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup as the team morale will be down after this defeat.
Agreed. It's crazy to see so many bonafide IPL superstars failing against a weak WI side. The future of India is definitely not looking bright in literally every format. They need to step up their game.

Can a balance of several hundred dollars be called huge?
I haven't seen a single claim over $1,000.
Logically, it would be much easier to block one account with $20k or even $50k than to block dozens of accounts with several hundred dollars and create an avalanche of accussations. Simple logic
Didn't have the patience to read your wall of text except for this last part which cracked me up. Did you even bother doing your research before posting these absurd statements shill? I doubt it.

Go check their negative trust ratings carefully and you will understand(If you have a brain) that several victims were scammed of thousands of bucks.
703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: August 12, 2023, 12:04:11 PM
Here's my theory. I don't know if you have seen a Black Mirror episode, "Smithereens", but what's happening here with Betnomi might be similar to the events in that episode, namely: you create a big and very profitable business, make a lot of money, and decide to take a rest in some remote place with no mobile or internet for 2-3 months. Unprofessional? Very much so. But humanly it can be understood. It may be a lifetime opportunity to spend couple of months like that. You are making big money, but you've noticed that you can't rest peacefully, you are always getting phone calls and messages needing your attention, even on holidays. So, one day ypu decide, I have to do it at least once in my life. You put everything on auto-pilot, take your family and friends, and disappear for a summer.

I have to say, I am not a businessman. I'm just a regular guy trying to understand this world. Smiley
Lmao. This is one crazy theory. I have never seen that TV show, but I heard about it and my interest in it has risen thanks to your example. Anyway, I don't think the same happened with Betnomi.

Why would some of their employees delete telegram messages if that were the case? They just bolted plain and simple.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 12, 2023, 06:17:30 AM
I wonder which of you will dig up the last complaint here on Bitcointalk..  Grin Grin
There could be another reason dumdum. They probably lost a ton of gamblers thanks to all the negative criticism that piled up over the years which is why there are very few victims translating to fewer complaints.

I know they have an awful reputation so I don't doubt that but has anyone here had any recent problems? I'm not trying to promote them but I'm just wondering.
I talked about this in my reply above which is a plausible explanation if you think about it.
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: August 11, 2023, 05:03:28 AM
If Betnomi wants to return, we shouldn't discourage them. Let us allow them to open withdrawal first and people withdraw their money before we talk about reputation.
Which world are you living in? A single mistake is enough to screw hard earned reputation in this scary world which is why Betnomi is done. Do you have any idea how much money some of the victims lost? Think!

If you follow the threads, no one is discouraging them, the forum is encouraging them to return, urging them to solve the issues, where their [in]action itself has spoken for them and their reputation.
The only thing that Betnomi can do now is to release all the funds that they stole and ride off into the sunset.

Is Shikhar Dhawan really playing against Ireland?

Didn't check the squad or any announcement but it would be pretty dumb from the BCCI if they include him after keeping him out for like 2 years, it would send a mixed message to youngsters and seniors which is not good in the longer run.
Found this information from this particular site.

https://cricketaddictor.com/cricket-news/shikhar-dhawan-to-announce-retirement-from-international-cricket-along-with-these-2-indian-legends-after-ind-vs-ire-t20-series/

I guess they included him and some other old players as it's his farewell series which is why these are just temporary changes. Am waiting to see Bumrah on top of his game again at some point in the future.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: August 09, 2023, 06:45:39 AM
Bruh, mine got both of these and it just sucks for me to somehow limit my expenses and somehow be bombarded with annoying bills and yeah, taxes. Can't do anything about it anyway even if ya blame the government. People have been doing that kinds of stuff already in here, but nah. Wish it kinda gave effect, but it's just the same as always.

We can only hope. Good thing I hold Bitcoin though. Kinda somehow adapting to what's going on around me. It just sucks when you work 9-5.
Damn! That's tough. The silver lining here is that the global economic issues are decreasing slowly and steadily which implies everything will be back to normal in a couple of years hopefully.

Crypto does help mitigate these issues to some extent, but the annoying governments are taxing the heck of it too.
708  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: August 08, 2023, 12:38:27 PM
Inflation hasn't really hit me hard these days despite the global economic slowdown. What truly hit me hard is the plethora of taxes that my government has increased in recent times. Trash government!

Am just hoping for a drastic change in the upcoming elections which could potentially reduce the tax burden.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 08, 2023, 08:12:37 AM
All we can do is try every strategy to find out which can help us win. And don't forget that we also need luck and a good strategy, but we must remember that luck may not always be with us.
You are clearly missing the point. Strategies are effective only in the short-term because it's possible to defeat the house in such a short period while they are completely ineffective in the long-term thanks to the house edge.

They are useful for improving the fun factor, but they won't increase your winning chances. It's 100% luck basically.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 07, 2023, 06:37:38 AM
Pandya seriously needs to improve his captaincy. Why the heck did he not give Axar any overs when we all know how well he can bowl? Also, replacing Kuldeep for Bishnoi was a weird choice.

India have been pretty mediocre throughout this series. Their T-20 performances have been really bad so far. Their tail-enders keep batting like crap as usual.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: August 06, 2023, 11:30:27 AM
Having 4 to 5 accounts at a trusted casino can provide a different gambling experience. The trouble is that we have to deposit money that may vary for each gambling account. It's okay if we have prepared a certain amount of funds to be used to gamble at each of these casinos. But if we don't have these funds, we may only play in 1 or 2 casino accounts while the others wait for the next money deposit. And it is normal to have more than 1 gambling account because we are never satisfied to play in only 1 casino so we want to get more experience.
Agreed. If you are wagering high amounts in multiple casinos, it's definitely worth creating multiple accounts in order to take advantage of their bonuses etc. However, if you are wagering low amounts, it's better to stick to one or two sites instead.

Most gamblers are small-scale gamblers which is why they usually stick to one or two sites that they personally prefer.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 05, 2023, 09:16:20 AM
That is opposite from my experience , because mostly i am winning in my first few bets but the problem is when i continued playing because those are the time that i am completely losing but since of my previous wins? i chase my losses ending me losing everything.
I hate my attitude after but that is how gambling comes to me.
so yeah we have different experience mate.
Your username perfectly suits you. Honestly, everyone chased their losses at some point of time in their lives, but only few openly talk about it like you for various reasons which is pretty gutsy.

I chase my losses now and then, but I stop myself from crossing certain limits in order to avoid bigger losses. It all comes down to self control at the end of the day.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 05, 2023, 06:07:46 AM
It is not particularly because of climate change that we are seeing rain at this time, usually in the past matches wont be conducted during rainy season but now a days there is a tight schedule irrespective of the weather forecast because of the high remuneration they are charging for media rights and hence they are forced to conduct the matches. Apart from the weather conditions most of the Test matches having results in the past few years compared to the past.
Makes sense. I just felt that more and more tests are getting washed out recently which didn't seem like a major issue several years ago. Can't really blame the ICC much here due to the other issues that you mentioned.

Retractable roof could mitigate these issues, but it comes with its own set of problems.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 04, 2023, 05:50:00 AM
There are theories of every kinds in an attempt to find a pattern on the game, but after all none of them work, because it's everything about luck and randomness.
It's because gamblers are usually desperate to find the so called 'winning strategy' in order to earn big money, but end up getting disappointed later on when such strategies fail in the long-term thanks to the house edge.

Yolo gambling and fixed unit betting are way better in comparison if you ask me.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 03, 2023, 01:12:15 PM
It's impossible for him to do that for popularity but he is indeed unconscious or insane, maybe there is also a certain reason he does that if he is indeed unconscious due to heavy drunkenness, but it is a free spectacle for everyone around there even though it is dangerous if the drunk is carrying a sharp weapon, no need to be arrested it's just that it needs to be secured so as not to harm someone.

We never know how strong he controls himself to harm other people, for that it is only enough to be secured by a security officer because it can help prevent unwanted things, reading this thread we still wonder why he did that, but I'm sure it's not because popularity because in my opinion it is impossible in such a way to gain popularity let alone embarrass himself.
There are so many people out there who crave negative popularity and don't really mind it since they seek attention in any form. For example, some youtubers do all sorts of crazy shit for fame and money.

This is why there is a small possibility that this dude wanted everyone to learn about him without really caring about the consequences.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 03, 2023, 06:37:49 AM
Now a days most of the Test matches are having results unlike a decade ago.
I have to disagree with this part. More and more tests are getting screwed by rain as time passes thanks to global warming, climate change etc. I feel that this issue will continue getting worse sadly.

One example is the first match where the team announced early declaring of the innings and lost on a narrow margin. Those are decisions from England team in an unexpected moment.
Everyone makes mistakes. Stokes messed up, but some of his teammates didn't really help much either which is why they lost the first 2 tests.
717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: August 02, 2023, 06:40:22 AM
For the sake of promotion  Wink and also some review in my part, one of the only reasons someone would be trying to find alternatives to Stake would be users getting excluded or banned for some reason.

As it stands, Stake is a very good casino, I have gambled myself there and their system and art style is very good in their Stake's originals, perfect to anyone to wishes to gamble at their own pace, not even mention the fact their withdrawvals are very fast and they care to use a high enough fee, so people can see the money in their wallets as soon as the next block is mined.  Tongue

Stay safe, stay on Stake. ™  Wink
Wrong. There are plenty of reasons why a gambler would want to avoid Stake. They enforce KYC on deposits and withdrawals, freeze funds sometimes and don't release them despite providing KYC again and again, bad odds etc.

It's a good site for sure, but it's not as great as you are making it out to be.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 01, 2023, 05:44:03 AM
Lol! That's hilarious. He embarassed himself like an idiot and he should have been reprimanded seriously, but he doesn't deserve to be arrested since he clearly wasn't in his right mind.

I doubt he did any of that intentionally since very few people crave negative popularity. This kind of stuff is pretty common in Vegas.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 31, 2023, 12:36:47 PM
Yes, it depends on the person but those that treat gaming/gambling as fun activities do so because it's the only way they can put their buzz in check to prevent addiction or unnecessary gambling.
If you know any of the gamblers that treated gambling this way ask them and they will tell you they are still hoping for a chance of good winning.
I disagree. There are plenty of gamblers out there who primarily care about the fun factor and don't really care about earning money. They are happy regardless of whether they win or lose at the end of the day.

One of the best examples in this case are elites who are 100% financially free.
720  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: July 31, 2023, 05:33:10 AM
Good stuff op. So many crypto investors don't properly do their research and end up blaming BTC and other cryptocurrencies for their losses when the truth is that they are the ones who are actually at fault.

HODLING BTC in the long-term is always extremely difficult for most investors which is why you should be prepared to invest only what you are willing to lose.
