It might also have been more helpful to include a link to those reddit users which I'm not sure was done?

There's potential for a mod to see that as you jus twisting something to add to the your post count and look vaguely constructive (as a guess).

https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/comments/7w8e20/coinbase_vault_is_a_scam/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body

Here is one of the tread which I remember, where yiu can clearly see that he is talking about their helpline and how much it is going to cost for the one who needs help from their support.

Honestly I don't have to frame something like this to build the post counts. Cheesy which can be done in a way more constructive with less efforts.

I have the impression that in the fight against spam, sometimes the righteous pay for sinners. I'm not saying that this is the case, but it's not the first time I see someone complaining that they have had their posts deleted and when I look at the posts I don't see that they are clearly shitposting.

Anyway, OP, don't give it more importance. I've seen your post history and you seem to be a good forum user.
Well, this is something which I need to express there or else how people can understand the discussions? Grin Thanks for the appreciation even when though I am not really a one. I mean the merit hunter. Wink

I didn't handle it but looks like someone reported it as low value.
Thanks for clearing it. But is it really looks like a low value post?

but why this one got moved even when I asked not to do so with appropriate reason. Roll Eyes
The reason why you dont want the thread to be move is to get the assistant you needed from people which i understand you but the moderator have the right to move every thread thats not post in the appropriate section cause it one of their duties and about post deletions you are not the first to experience that but i think the moderators need to check every reported posts very well.
But this thread may fit into under the Help criteria in my opinion but anyway I respect the Mods decision if they feel it should be moved to wallet section.

Some reddit posts recommended this suggestion as well but the user who tried this faced bitter experience most of the times because we have to stay in the call for hours to get connected to one of their service staff which is really annoying and can drain lot of money if someone calls from different country, that is why I didn't tried to call them.

This is on topic and more over it is about what is my experience and opinion about the suggestion for my help seeking thread.

And also I posted this thread on beginners &Help section because my previous thread didn't got much exposure to forum members so I tried to create new thread after a year on help section which also may fit for these kind of queries right? Where normally lot of irrelevant threads are accepted and not moved to off topic or respective section but why this one got moved even when I asked not to do so with appropriate reason. Roll Eyes
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now the 20th Biggest Asset by Market Cap on: November 13, 2020, 02:10:49 PM
About Bitcoin being compare with payment processors companies just like Visa and Mastercard, it's kinda  far from Bitcoin if we only talk about transactions, since Visa got around 65,000 transactions per seconds while Bitcoin got only around 4.5 transactions per seconds.
But I am not being negative on Bitcoin, there are just some part that these payment processors are really different with Bitcoin.
Bitcoin isn't perfect system but it has its own advantage which maybe preferred by the users when they realize the importance of it.But top 20th spot is something great for the crypto community to give more confidence for them while holding bitcoins.

Bitcoin's market cap is very unstable. It rises as quickly as it falls. So while I don't agree in calling Bitcoin a seasonal bubble, its entering in the top 20 biggest assets by market cap is probably not as consistent as the other companies mentioned.

It is hard for Bitcoin to maintain a rank in this list which is predominantly composed of traditional markets. It's not like companies whose market caps basically reflect their overall performance. In Bitcoin's case, it all purely depends on the demand.
Its not about reaching the first rank or higher rank from 20th place but we can say that bitcoin is not something which can be eliminated from the global economy from now on. Well value of bitcoin is more accurate and transparent compared to other companies because the value got from demand and supply and easily accessible for everyone.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Is Now the 20th Biggest Asset by Market Cap on: November 13, 2020, 08:18:10 AM
Yes, you heard it right now Bitcoin becomes the 20th in the biggest assets by marketcao vakue which crossed $300 Billion due to the recent bullish trend on the crypto market. And more importantly bitcoin's market cap value is over the PayPal's market cap value. This analysis was made by the site called Assetdash which keeps tracks the data of global assets.

But bitcoin yet to cross over the two biggest payment processing companies like Mastercar and Visa which are at 18th and 11th respectively. Next biggest crypto in the list is ethereum at the 199th place.

So what is your view on these guys? Do you believe that this increase can change the global economic structure and convince the traditional investors that Bitcoin is nit just a seasonal bubble?

706  Economy / Web Wallets / Funds in my coinbase vault stuck for very long time on: November 12, 2020, 01:24:45 PM
In the past I am using coinbase and their vault features to store bitcoins in my android which I later switched to electrum due to the problems facing with their wallet.

If you take a look at this thread : Coinbase Vault query! - delayed for 24 hours then you can find that my funds in the vault stuck for more than a year now and their support also not giving any response for a very long time but recently I tried my luck to get the funds out of it.Which I mentioned in my one of past below.

Update after a long time:

Since we are in bullish trend in the last few months I remembered that I got few hundreds stuck into my coinbase vault over a year so I just wanted to give it a try is there any way to get them out.

I tried to delete my coinbase account when they asked me to enter desired bitcoin address to withdraw all the funds left which includes the vault amount as well and entered 2FA code then clicked withdraw. But again I got the same mail which asks me to approve the transaction but received another email at the same time as follows
Quote

As a security precaution, your withdrawal of x.xxx BTC on November x, 2020 at xx:xxpm PST has been delayed for 72 hours to make sure you authorized it. You can view the withdrawal at Coinbase.com.

If you did make this withdrawal, no action is required. The withdrawal will automatically be completed in 72 hours.

If you didn’t make this withdrawal and believe it’s unauthorized activity, you have 72 hours to cancel it. You should also disable sign-in to your account to prevent anyone from accessing your account.

So do I have a chance now to withdraw the funds successfully without approving it?

But nothing changed and still, funds are pending status even after a week later, and also their customer support also not giving the solutions to delete my vault as they said to my one of my support ticket.Like they asked me to complete verification and they asked me to reach them.

Here is the summary of my issue, I have some bitcoins in my coinbase vault which is similar to multisig wallet, to access the funds there we need to give authorization from two emails which we had given at the time of vault creation. But why my funds are stuck because I am not getting the authorization email to one of my emails. So here is no way to get the funds back until the support moves the funds on my behalf.

PS. don't report this thread to be moved to the exchanges section because that is where I am bringing the discussion here to get help from other members.
707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can escrow service on bitcointalk be trusted? on: November 10, 2020, 07:51:07 PM
If you ask escrow on bitcointalk can scam you? Then yes because they are also human so possibility of scamming is there when we trust people.

But there are reasons why they are not going to scam you like they are doing escrowing funds as common practice and for that they are charging certain amount from the total escrowed amount so this is kind of earnings for them and also their reputation will increase here with such kind of services done based on only trust.

Mumbai Indians win their fifth IPL title, congratulations to become as 2020 IPL champion. Truly very deserving, Mumbai Indains is the strongest team in the IPL franchise so far and best combination ever. Sorry for DC, good try but next time.
The fun aspect is that DC let go of Trent Boult and MI were smart enough to grab the opportunity with both hands and ironically he is the man of the match in the final and along with Bumrah they formed the best bowling line up in the absence of Malinga and it paid off big time.

Overall, it was one of the best seasons and was very entertaining through and through.
This was the most competitive tournament as every team had their off days and some played brilliantly and some came back and stamped their authority in the play off.
DC got the best bowling line up as well so I won't say letting Boult from their team doesn't cost them much in this season but their inexperience is the only reason for their loss in my opinion but for DC this is the best season of all so they can cherish about that later on. MI looks much stronger in overall so other teams also need to find the right combination in the upcoming seasons to get such kind of performances in their team as well.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 10, 2020, 05:18:03 PM
DC came back in the game with Iyer and Pant half centuries else it would have being a low scoring game. But still 157 to win should not be that difficult for MI unless they lose couple of quick wickets in starting few overs which can just add a bit of pressure since its final, else possible they will take the cup for 5th time.
After the disastrous start they got Iyer and Pant took them to a total but with the batting line MI have it is not a competitive score as they bat really deep and DC failed to pick any wickets to put the pressure back to the batsman and they are on their way to another trophy.

MI just need 44 runs from 41 balls and with 8 wickets in hand it is an impossible task for any bowler.

10 runs from 17 balls , likely the champion side won this match again.

Congratulations to MI and their fans.

Edit: they won this match by 5 wickets.celebration started there.

Time will tell but I think chances of getting your money back are so low. Isn't the coinbase vault feature like Multisig wallets but this time instead of private keys, email addresses are used to approve transactions?

If yes, then I don't think they might help you but let's wait after 72 hours and see. The rules involving multisigs or in this case coinbase vault are pretty much clear. No approval, No transaction.

As you said nothing changed after 72 hours, the transaction stays still pending and waiting for the approval.

But coinbase replied to my another support a week earlier to complete KYC and get verified to help me to change the approval email from their side. But I completed as they asked but after that there is no reply to that ticket, surprisingly I received an response like

Hello xxxx,

That's the end of the response, but they are supposed to change the email right. I am kind of annoyed with their support again that is why I left the funds even if worth few hundred dollars earlier this year.

MI hasn't back in the match yet.. Hetmyre is still at the crease. He is one of the best finisher in t20 format. If S. lyre and Hetmyre are at the crease till 20 overs, DC will be able to give a much bigger target to MI.
Hetmeyer lost his wicket when trying to hit but still they have got Shreyas in the crease two over remaining so I feel anything over 170 will be a good total to give a fight back because they have got the bowling to defend such kind of total and also this is a big match so definitely there will be an extra pressure on the team who are chasing due to score board ticking.

Delhi Capitals having the advantage here. Scoring anything above 160 can be very difficult in Abu Dhabi. 180 plus can be almost impossible to achieve. And on top of that, they have two of the best depth bowlers in Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada. In all probability, the final of IPL 2020 will be between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals, unless SRH can perform some miracle.

Only hope for SRH now is Williamson and if he gets out now then mostly DC enters the final . Required rate is rising quickly and 34 balls 70 runs . Some one needs to play here quick innings if SRH has to win it else till last over it would be a huge task and in pressure SRH  can lose the game.
For the first time ever Delhi entered into the final by beating SRH, Kane Williamson keep the hope alive until last 3 overs but once his wicket fell then everyone starts to give their wickets away by hitting every ball. Shreyas will be a happy man now and they are going to face MI in the final but the important point is they faced MI 3 times in this season and they lost all the three matches.

As you said Delhi looks to win this match s they started of their bowling as well with their good momentum from the first innings which helped to take the wickets of Warner in the second over itself and they lost two more wickets in the same over which put SRH under a great pressure situation. So their winning chances are getting slim but anything can happen as long as Kane Williamson and Holder is in the crease.
715  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX trading platform on: November 08, 2020, 04:07:06 PM
What's the best DEX trading platform which can compete with centralized platforms like Binance,.
Why not choose Binance DEX?

All good DEX's was mentioned above like Bisq but have you tried Radar relay?  This is also a DEX that mainly supported Ethereum to trade and it has advantage features that almost the same as CEX.

Like,
  • High liquidity
  • Crypto Trading options
  • Security
  • Customer support

However, I still prefer to use the CEX exchange. Good choice for Binance and for quickly purchasing cryptocurrencies, BestChange is the best for you.
But binance isn't actually completely decentralized and also they limit the traders from going into popular coins since they choose to have binance chain for trading that is also the reason why the dex from most reputed exchange hardly have any good amount of trading volume compared to new dex which supports ethereum chain.

Someone have to do this from time to time, I believe that many newbies are still victims to scam projects till this days, we gotta keep warning them, not all can be safe but as for those who want to learn, here you go

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do
3. Do research on exchanges as there are many bad eggs among the good exchanges
4. Follow the crypto investment rule, don't invest more than you can afford to lose
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the way of winners in crypto space

All the best.
We need to educate the newbies with the updated things because scammers are getting more intelligent than the investors that is why still there are people who are losing their money to scam traps and also by making bad decisions at the wrong time.

At the end of 10 overs, Delhi Capital scored 102 runs by losing only 1 wicket. Hopefully today they will be able to give SRH a target of more than 200 runs. If they can score more than 200 runs, it will be a very big target for SRH. Chasing more than 200 is very difficult for SRH. I think it is almost impossible for SRH.

Does srh have the ability to win by chasing more than 200 runs? What do you think? I think they SRH will lose if DC will able to score more than 200.
My prediction score is DC-214/5
Change in DC batting order gave good results to them and now they are scoring over 10 runs per over at the end of 10 overs so possibly they can reach 200 to 230 even if they keep playing as now for the remaining overs.Rashid khan also going to exhaust his overs so they are good to go with hige runs at the death overs.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 08, 2020, 01:48:34 PM
DC won the toss and they decided to bat first, but not sure that they took the right decision according to the pitch report.SRH captain said they would be bowling first if they won the toss, and they are playing with the same XI from the eliminator because Saha hamstring still continues. I guess today also SRH will be in my favorite to win this game, any thoughts?
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 08, 2020, 06:32:57 AM
Jason Holder is a major part for the resurgence of SRH as he is bowling brilliantly, i never considered him a great all rounder but he proved that he is a much polished player bowling at good pace and the awkward bounce he gets is troubling the batsman and he is a handy batsman as well.
Jason Holder gave SRH a balance they were lacking but the worst part is that they are forced to sit out Jonny Bairstow who is one of the best players in the T20 format to accommodate the quota rule and hopefully Saha will be fit in the next game.

DC is having their issues in performing consistently and they rely on their top order to perform and their fast bowling combination is not effective like they were in the start of the tournament.
Even though he is one of the best player he should be dropped to get the balance in the team and cricket is a team sport so individual performance won't carry much weigh.Saha gave extraordinary performance to fill his spot so SRH is not missing Bairstow to be honest.DC lacks form which may continue on the qualifier 2 as well because they are playing terribly in the last 3 ir 4 matches.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain based mobile voting App on: November 07, 2020, 06:17:35 PM
I read the tweet from cz binance he said
"If there is a blockchain based mobile voting App (with proper KYC of course), we won't have to wait for results, or have any questions on its validity. Privacy can be protected using a number of encryption mechanisms."

I am wondering if it is possible that a presidential election in a large country like America or other countries will use the system blockchain? with the advancement of the blockchain the election results will reduce voting costs and our final results will not be waiting much longer.
Vote polling can be one of the best utilization of blockchain technology even though the App is not necessary or possibly in future there are countries which tried election polls with the help of blockchain but they never wants it to be on the major election due to the fear if losing.Because it is impossible to change the results into your favor even if you are the ruling party but the ruling party never wants to let that power to go out of their hands.
