This will never stop. I suggest you field questions from the board and focus on getting the miners back online. Thanks
Great suggestion.

us shareholders arent trying to hold you to ransom here, we are looking for some clarity on what has happened to date & what the plan is to move forwards.
Agreed!

Is there anyone else really defending Labcoin at this point? It's so clear that this is not the project that people bought shares for in the IPO. This has become something extremely shady, and is almost 100% clearly not a legitimate mining company.
I dunno about "defending" them ("Sam"). but I only have like 2 BTC in this thing, bought at just over the IPO.. I could care less if I loose it (I've already considered it gone to be honest), but would like to see something happen. And besides, this whole thing is like a crazy tv series!  Drama, drama, drama..

But yes, this is CLEARLY not the project that people invested in at the IPO..
705  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Labcoin Official Thread - Self-Moderated on: October 17, 2013, 04:42:47 PM
Correct. We are currently bringing up more hardware.

Awesome, thanks for the reply!
706  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 17, 2013, 04:41:50 PM

"Sam", you can keep deleting my questions and I'll keep reposting them here.

I'm amused that you're clueless enough to think this is to your benefit.

Deleted by "Sam":

Why is the hardware consistently added late night in China?
While it is amusing that he keeps deleting your posts, I think that we already know the answer to this one.. Labcoin isn't his only "job". So my guess is that he does his daily gig.. Gets home then works a little on Labcoin.

Just wondering. It looks like when you add to the total hashing there is a drastic dip for a little bit.. I'm guessing you are re-arranging, etc? If so I'm guessing we'll see more than 3 TH shortly...

Hashing rate is up again. Probablu just temporary setback in luck or equipment.
Actually, it's down to 1 TH now..

[edit]Actually looks like it's averaging around 1.5 TH now.. I just caught it at the bottom when I said 1 TH[/edit]

So the average hash rate dropped suddenly there a while ago.. I was thinking that perhaps Sam was working on adding another TH like he said (cough cough) but now it looks like a chip (or a few) failed..

Sam still deserves some pitchforking. He's done an awful job.  A minor success doesn't erase all that.

Or on the contrary keep these stock until the warranty is essentially no good, then boost them ....  I suspect there is a decent chance that BFL may come out with a like update which won't void the warranty...
THat's not a bad comprimise.. How long is the warranty good for anyway?
716  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 15, 2013, 05:34:28 PM

So, does this means something, or normal variation?
It's much higher than their normal variation.. They've been peaking around 800 Gh/s averaging around 500 / 550
717  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 15, 2013, 05:28:20 PM
I just saw that myself!
718  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | NASTY POOL on: October 15, 2013, 03:32:50 PM
It definitely voids the warranty. Perhaps I'll hold off and keep my eye out for any steals on a Dragon that may present themselves. If our Monarchs arrive soon I guess 30GH/s won't make much of a difference anyway.

If BTC ever goes to $10,000 then 30 GH/s at the current difficulty will still be worth something nice.

I've discussed this at some length with a fellow Fan and we lean towards opposite sides of the fence.. Me being a little too ready to accept the risk, him possibly being a little too cautious.

Perhaps if you find a deal on a Dragon, maybe we could consider doing 1 and monitoring it for a week or so - see how much difference in temp there is, etc. Then revisit the issue once we have that knowledge?
719  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | NASTY POOL on: October 15, 2013, 01:09:58 PM
I understand the points about longevity / life span of the boxes.. I guess my only question would be, would that void any warranty from BFL?  We already had one go down and they took care of it..

Anyway, if it doesn't screw up a warranty, I'd say that more hash power sooner is better than hashing longer... With difficulty climbing and KnC delivering their products, well, I'd rather see us hash stronger sooner.

[edit]And if it does void the warranty, well, then we should still weight the option carefully[/edit]

October 13 Update

Monday we will start deploying the first batch of finalized hardware, amounting to 10 TH/S.
According to our estimations, we will reach 3 TH/s on monday, and about 5 TH/s  within Saturday.
Within Saturday 19, full hashing speed of the first batch will be deployed.
We will receive more batches of hardware in the following weeks and deploy it accordingly.

This week dividends deposit on btct.co has been "confiscated" by Burnside, thus we were unable to push it to shareholders.
Given recent developments at bitfunder we are again looking for a platform to move our shares.
Well, it started out looking interesting for a moment there with that .3395~ payment.. But nothing since..
