701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 05:44:09 AM
It provides a way into the crypto coin world for those who like popularity versus ingenuity.

The concept of how crypto works itself is ingenious. I'm not sure if I would be so definite by saying it provides vice could provide a way into this world. For some, it's enough to discourage. To each his own, so we'll never know for sure.

We shall work on our English comprehension skills when you master the English language and stop grammatically murdering it.

Best regards.

Is this what you have to come to the table with? Seriously? You're confirming what he's saying with this pseudo intelligent statement.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 05:29:37 AM
While I wouldn't necessarily call the Doge community retarded... I agree with the overall message here.

If I were on the outside of the crpyto-currency scene and ran across the majority of the alt coins nowadays, I'd have no confidence to invest. Even better, if my first exposure were to coins like Coinye and Doge (keep in mind I don't know anything about nothing yet), I would think it's a total joke and my entire impression on crypto would be forever tainted; bitcoins wouldn't have a shot in hell in my book.

But as I am on the inside... I'll secretly collect the alt coins I think I might make a buck or two from... but I'll be damned if I'd run around promoting them. Imagine me: I'm mining Potcoin - my colleagues' imagination would run wild. Just sayin'

You guys are looking at this all wrong! Don't you know that 6 is the first perfect number?   At least that's how I see it Tongue

Sometimes I dig holes in the back yard only to fill them back up again.

Haha! Wait until you try to measure how much dirt is in one of those holes Wink
706  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinRoyale.com • Provably Fair Blackjack & Baccarat • Instant Play • Free BTC on: February 12, 2014, 04:35:11 AM
If you starting to play here it is one big sam,be careful.
Provably unfair.

Are you able to point to any issues in our Provably Fair system or your game history? I'm happy to address it.

You say it's "unfair"  I say it's the ONLY place where I actually WIN.
Thanks, ar8003! We love having you at CoinRoyale.

And publicly I might add. This is different and rather interesting. I can't see many casinos having this much confidence.

Too bad I don't play card games. But I'm subscribed to this thread so I must've created an account for a freebie... is there anyway to find out? My usual username was available just now.

EDIT Found it! Looks like I did Smiley

So I totally forgot my password and can't access the site

Username: tranquil-snail-251

I signed up again (this time password wrote down).

New Username: tranquil-snail-252

Am I still able to get it?

Thanks!

Only .12 out of the possible .2 up for grabs claimed.

Definitely not an easy freebie by any standard; required too much thought. I suppose I should lock thread just in case this comes back to bite me one day when coins are worth 10k!  I'll really be in a pickle.

To all those who received a bounty - thank you! Best bitcoins I've spent in a long time.
708  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which bitcoin casino is your favourite and why? on: February 12, 2014, 04:02:51 AM
....every online casino should have some sort of certification from a 3rd party. All those provably fair solutions that you guys praise to the skies 24/7, don't really say that the algorithms are not rigged to give a certain order for the cards or that the odds cannot be influenced. All that provably fair stuff happens on the casino's server, so unless someone verified the games and stated that nothing like that ever happens, provably fair doesn't exist. See this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1frm4x/

...there are many provably fair casinos, but provably fair doesn't mean 100% fair. For me, fair means 100%. What is not 100% fair, is not fair at all. Just read the reddit post I gave. This basically reduces your selection amount to just a few names or maybe to 0.

Couple of days of rest from the forum - what's my welcome: I get my ass slapped back into reality! There is not one thing I disagree with. Matter of fact, I'm sure I've experienced just about all of the exploits in that reddit thread. I've yet to play at a bitcoin casino whose slots don't take advantage of them  - I DARE ANY OF THEM TO CHALLENGE THIS - we can definitely let the forum members to be the judge of it.

Thanks a lot for this. Hope you are sure by now that you are sane and there is nothing wrong with you. Well if there is something wrong with you then there is something wrong with most of us. If you stood up for the right thing, even better. If others are calling you crazy because of it, then you must have hit a nerve, or did something right, because if you were wrong they would most likely just ignore you.

lol, I hear you. This is the first time I've ever been actively engaged in any type of online community; I don't even do Facebook. So just trying to acclimate is all.

no only this thread and i havent played slots beside free spins so i dont know

I just sent their tech support an email. Looks like they're having the same issues that coinbet did with their slots. I requested that they review my logs. So we'll see how it goes.

Hello Lucky Cris, the slots at www.BetcoinCasino.com are provided by a high end service provider that provides slots to some of the top online casinos.  The payouts are much higher than our original casino that you enjoyed very much.  We have no influence or input on the outcome of the casino games and each game undergoes rigorous testing, certification and licensing.  You can play the same games at www.bovada.lv formerly www.bodog.com where they are also very popular.

We are having no issues with our slots, nor or any of the other several thousand players who continue to play our slots and games.  As with every casino there will be individuals who will be unhappy at times as we cannot please everyone, however we will always attempt to do so.  We are looking at your logs through the weekend and will be back with you shortly.

I understand the business, after all casinos couldn't in business if everyone could walk away with something in their pocket, right Smiley  But it's not about that here. And I really appreciate you taking time to review them; much appreciated!

Does BetcoinCasino have a thread here, or do they share this one?

Has anybody had any issues with the slots? I know I'm not the only one.

As a man of my word I will say I just received my full withdrawal as was promised.  I guess i got confused when i saw the -10 credits it was apparently just a glitch.  I got everything I was supposed to and even won a little.  All is well, play with confidence.  Sorry for all the confusions.

At least you're actually winning. What do you play, poker? Unless you luck up and hit a few high paying rounds with their slots, it's impossible to win. I've played enough there now that I can say with confidence that something isn't right with their slots.

Site's been down a while huh? I keep checking in every so often in past few days .. still down.
I have a few coins in there at the moment, with no way of getting them out

Just hang tight. They won't take them - I can attest. I must have about 20 personal links with them. Few weeks ago I was going through them all (signing myself for the monthly draw Tongue and I found .5BTC in a circle I hadn't visited since last year. First I thought it was an error, but I checked the blockchain, and yeah, back in Sept I deposited that .5 and forgot about it! It was a nice little surprise.

.03 Bounty Awarded

how did i do with my last response cris i tried to explain as much as possible.

Yes, you did DrHerbSmoker. Tell me this, though... why do you think I was justified in calling in them out? Do you think I did the community a favor, or did I blow it out of proportion?

i would say you did the community a favor by showing the casinos true colors. some may say its not a big deal but i think that is up to how much the player knows and wants to know to begin with ya know.

and u were justified in calling them out because its a public board where things like this are supposed to be questioned and brougt up

.03 Bounty Awarded

Well after going trough your posts for a while I see  you like to challenge everything. What I mean by this, is that whenever someone posts something they have to give a good reason to why they did what they did. I noticed this because I'm sometimes like that. This also shows that you most likely have a high education, that is you are a smart person, because you are not afraid to challenge everything and find out for yourself why is something the way it is. Sometimes though you think that you can accomplish more by insulting someone other then by explaining to them your opinion politely (have to say you sometimes do this).
Do I think you are a crazy person? No, most of us are like that these days. Frustrated. Challenging. Want to learn more and so on. So if you are crazy then I suppose most of us are.
Yeah, you're right; pretty clear in this thread, lol. But is this necessarily a bad thing? I suppose I could choose my battles a little more selectively? What do you think?
I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Well I just don't think some battles are worth it, since some people are so stubborn that no matter what you say and no matter what evidence you present them they will not change their mind. They think they are right and that's it. Those battles are not worth it, since you just lose time and get mad because the other people is so stupid and can't understand or doesn't want to understand what you are saying. To sum it up I would say it's okey to say your opinion and to discuss something but those you met in the past that were unwilling to accept anything you say and couldn't tell you why, time shouldn't be wasted on people like that. There are plenty of open minded people who want to listen. I think I may have gone off topic a little. Smiley
Fighting and saying what you believe is not a bad thing overall.

Yeah, I've spent some time here trying to prove a point over and over again, probably a lil too much in some cases. But I'm not so sure I'd exactly say the time was wasted. Even if who ever I'm beating a dead horse with at the time didn't get it, maybe something I said during the convo gave further insight to someone who was just reading it. If that's the case, then at least the time spent wasn't for nothing, right?
I have to say I didn't think about it that way. Yes you are right, even if it is not possible to convince some in something it might be someone who is reading that, if they are open to critical thinking and think that you have presented enough evidence. That makes it more of a long run game. Sadly usually not that many people read, especially if there is too much of text and pages, then you have to add that something gets buried beneath all the other new threads. Maybe knowing that it will be available for them trough search is enough, so those who are interested in it will find what they are looking for.
