701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL Initial Coin Offerings are Trash on: February 24, 2019, 11:53:57 PM
I am beginning to see more reasons for research and more of it mist especially.
You do not just invest in a project by looking at it in a shallow way or because you see others investing in it.
So many projects are turning out to scam investors, which is why we need to device ways to identify the good ones.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: February 24, 2019, 11:51:53 PM
Projects are coming in new forms, which is another strategy to overcome the market situation.
Even if investors are not investing when the market is down, some project team will source for fund from private investors.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: February 21, 2019, 10:30:24 PM
Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.
I have not for once thought that the position belongs to XRP and it is so evident with what is presently happening in the market.
Although, a some traders seem to be getting their bulk from it. Well that should be the whales, whose part should be coming from the team.
If you are a retail investors and you are investing in it, you have to be careful while doing that.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With Low Trading Volume? on: February 21, 2019, 10:23:56 PM
If a coin is still very new to the market and it is having a low trading volume at the same time, I think it is a good time and avoid opportunity to acquire more.
Although, this is not applicable to all coins. Based on what I have seen so far, a coin that has a good product, perhaps actively under development and has such experience while listed, investors most times make good use of the opportunity, by acquiring more.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 21, 2019, 10:19:46 PM
With me, what I believe and love about crypto is Bitcoin, and when I was born was a new concept that nobody knew. After that Bitcoin gradually gained trust and became bigger and bigger with many proofs that this is an advanced technology. Bitcoin is growing stronger over time
We are both on the same side. Bitcoin is driving its way to becoming a generally acceptable currency and looking at the way it is being adopted, I believe it gas got a future that no one is yet to fathom.
Apart from the  fact that it is the first digital currency, which is known to be coming a long way, there is another driving force or forces behind it, part of which is its community.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I stop using some exchanges on: February 20, 2019, 04:53:15 PM
If you are never selective with the type of exchange you use, you might end up losing a lot of money.
Aside that, when it comes to trading, some skills are required, which if you do jot have, you might get frustrated with it.
Then start trading with the amount you can afford to lose, which is also applicable to investments.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOLTON STO IS NOT SCAM !!! on: February 16, 2019, 06:27:07 PM
OP, why don't you allow them to come and defend themselves, instead you doing that for them. Perhaps you are paid to do that, or you are one of the team.
I believe they will be in the best position to do that and this is not the best section for that. Use the right place, which is scam accusation section of the forum. Bolton claims to be an STO, so they should be able to provide the right documents to back that up.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some good Valentine's Day promotions? on: February 15, 2019, 04:19:09 AM
I think the Valentine's celebration is now over, which means I might be late for the offers.
Well, that is not even my main concern for now, rather I am more concerned on seeing the market recover and for us to tend towards the bull run, even if it will not fully come now, at least let's see some positive changes.
The ethereum hardfork is another development that is expected now and the effect it will now have on ethereum, seeing that the present break point is $120.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 15, 2019, 04:13:44 AM
https://blocktribune.com/why-i-fell-in-love-with-crypto/

In the spirit of Valentine's Day today, I came across this article and had a good laugh. What are your reasons for falling in love with cryptocurrency?

My first reason is nothing other than the fortune that one is likely to make out of it. Although, at first, I was not expecting to make much, not until I got into it and discovered the vast opportunities in it.
I also believe in a good thing lasting for long. I believe in longevity. The future prospects of this technology is one of my soft and attractive point.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: February 15, 2019, 04:10:07 AM
Most bounty hunters sell their tokens as soon as they have the opportunity to do that on exchange. Only little percentage of bounty hunters understand the principle behind holding.
There are some that, despite getting that huge amount of token. They will not think of any other thing, other than to sell immediately at even the worse price.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New design MyEtherWallet. Easy or Difficult to send tokens? on: February 15, 2019, 04:06:47 AM
I have been using MEW for quite some time now. My first and the most ethereum address I use, was registered on MEW. So I know and understand how the firmer version of it worked.
In all sincerity, this new bone is much preferable. I believe it has been given a careful thought before the was lunched. Even without accessing the whole content, the interface itself is very inviting.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: February 15, 2019, 03:57:33 AM
Most of the results we have in life, come from the steps we take and before taking any step, it must have been informed by a decision, which is either self made or assisted decision.
If you are given advise by someone, that does not mean you should take it as raw as it is and apply directly. Also think of the advise you are given and make use of the good part of it.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help - bounty problem on: February 15, 2019, 03:44:37 AM
No one will be able to solve the problem here, except you contact the bounty provider himself. Some of those who have similar issues like this on a bounty platform I know of, bountyhive, had to contact the admin of the platform and their issues were solved.
As regards using stellar wallet to receive your tokens. You would need to add the trust line of the tokens to your wallet, which means that you are telling the stellar blockchain that you trust the source of the token you are about receiving. For that, you would need between 2-3 xlm.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: February 15, 2019, 03:19:53 AM
ICO experienced a boom at the end of 2017 - early 2018, which was followed by failure when prices dropped and state and federal regulators cracked down on projects that were in conflict with securities law.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/most-digital-tokens-will-go-to-zero-says-digital-currency-group-ceo

The majority of digital tokens will not have long-term value.
The CEO and other experts were saying the fact at that time, but the bull run might have been a little prolonged had it been it was not pronounced. This alone caused fear in the mind of so many investors, which in my opinion is FUD. Just as we have today, the major reason for the prolonged bear are the FUD, being spread around. It was also good that the market plummeted, else scammers would have continue to siphon more money with their scam projects.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC or ForbesCrypto? on: February 13, 2019, 11:44:42 PM
Which one do you think is more reliable, CMC or ForbesCrypto?
I would say CMC
I do not totally trust marketcap sites. They might be very useful in some areas, but when it comes to the price of coins itself, I usually prefer to go directly to the exchange, because that is where the real trade is and that is where to get adequate information on the buy and sell order or market place.
I use CMC more and I am not that aware of ForbesCrypto.i
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 13, 2019, 11:40:01 PM
Of course, I know that many people do not want to hear about regulations, but this free market is more and more dangerous for investors, more and more scams are created to get quick money. Is that right?
Those who are trying to avoid regulation at all course should be checked. Such might be involved in some ICOs that are scam.
I am not surprised that so many projects are not able to reach softcap easily, despite how good they appear. So many of them are sourcing fund from outside the online space.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 13, 2019, 11:34:30 PM
If an altcoin is following after the price of bitcoin, that does not mean it is not a good coin to invest in. Also, the dominance of bitcoin on coins has not stopped some altcoins from experiencing significant growth.
If the altcoin has a good use case, there is no reason why it should not attain a height, much farther from any form of dominance.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this a good sign for ethereum on: February 13, 2019, 11:28:21 PM
There might be so many news, lots of updates, but they might not all be relevant at that moment, to cause a significant growth in price.
Some updates are just distinct, that no many how awkward they might seem, there will surely be an uptrend in the market.
Some other news will definitely still come and that might make a lot of great differences.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please give some light on XRP on: February 13, 2019, 11:24:25 PM
XRP is not a ponzi, but the concern is that, it is subject to lots of manipulations.
Apart from the fact that it is a centralized coin, there are some sets of people who are part of the team, that are holding the highest amount, which are huge in number.
That dies not mean you cannot invest in XRP and get your profit, but that i t is not advisable to hold for long.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 13, 2019, 11:20:56 PM
Some investors are beginning to pick interest again in the crypto market and there are some who despite what they heard about year 2018, have summoned the courage to also invest in some coins.
Considering the trend of the market at this time, it is likely we continue to have a steady growth.
There is improvement and this is likely to bring about some attractions.
