701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 07, 2022, 04:10:02 PM
One of the fastest way to know how serious a project is after release is by watching it's roadmap closely, this is after you've make sure the project has good utility, many projects come into this space with empty words, they create good roadmaps but they won't follow up that roadmap, you will see updates of this month in roadmap happening five months later, that's a big red flag.
Yeah, utility is the ultimate motion in the project's success, for a coin to keep it relevant in the market the project need to have a high user base and community support, and some ico project has the underdeveloped utility concept that was forced to stop at some point because of external forces and market conditions. Those are the project I want to see reactivated to meet up with present demands in the cryptocurrency industry.

Yeah, OP. You might be overthinking it too much. Sadly many altcoins now are seen as shitcoins due to how short some coins last in the market and sometimes you just gotta suck it up and accept it. It is an unpredictable market in the end plus it is the nature of it so there ain't much we can do about it.
Expect the same for the succeeding years, like another carbon copy of these NFTs claiming to be the "NFT killers".  I even remembered some user in the other thread claiming that those coins he mentioned are "Ethereum killers". Cheesy
You are right with the development of NFT so many new projects that meet the demands of their users and give the industry some of the services that make cryptocurrency usage acceptable and flexible, I may have not been overthinking things but then again we could still find some good ico projects that can be rebuilt and transformed to fit into the current dispensation.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 06, 2022, 12:46:43 AM
Ypu are thinking about it too much.  Most every coin or project fails because they were never meant to succeed.  Most of the time it's the same people cash grab and start a new one.  People need to stop chasing greed and these projects will go away.
Maybe I should give it a break and stop thinking too much, but again we must know that not all altcoins are shit coins and not meant to go far, yeah we have seen so many recycling teams coming up with scam projects but then we can scrap out the legit few among them who suffer similar faith with the scammy one but in different ways and mostly because of no fault of theirs, should we now neglect their development. I don't have any coin in mind anyways.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Modernizing old projects on: June 05, 2022, 10:00:09 PM
Project fails because:
1: team failed to follow the whitepaper
2: a member of the team harms the project development process by making an exit scam
3: external attack from hackers
4: bad market forces etc,
Ethereum blockchain came as a savior to the scalability problems faced with the Bitcoin network, and ever since then a lot of coins have come and gone. Going through my old wallet today I stumbled on some old and dead coins which at a time promised to offer so many good features and solve real-time problems but at this moment their nowhere to be found and are dead and gone with all the good ideas behind those projects. Some of which can solve some services issues faced in the industry today and this made me ask this question, which of the old projects will you like to see coming back again to achieve its original project idea to solve some issues facing the cryptocurrency industry at the moment and why do you want to see them back identify the real-time problem that coin can solve.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 04, 2022, 10:00:25 PM

I really start to think that Saylor reads the WO...
[...]
Saylor is just trying to catch up with us, we are only 30844 pages ahead of him.

I wonder, Remember from the beginning Michael Saylor said Bitcoin had no chance,
all of a sudden he became Bitcoin ambassador,  one very thing I have known about Billionaires is that they will only tell you half the truth.

In several interviews Saylor explained very precisely why and how he changed his view on BTC.

Actually, he understands Bitcoin and its implications on a deeper level than most other public figures.

Saylor is no ambassador.  But he puts his money where his mouth is and sacrifices a lot of his time educating other people about BTC.

He wouldn't have to do it... he is super rich... he could just enjoy life fucking models all day long until he dies.

Saylor acts on conviction, because he gets how important BTC is for the world.  And that's what many Bitcoiners value.

Saylor got in very late, the Bitcoin party started long ago while he was busy playing the public critics role against Bitcoin most other figures in the Bitcoin community were busy accumulating more, now the music has changed and Saylor wants to join the party by all means. Anyways he is welcome on the list he can still fill some bags just left over anyway. The best pizza was served long ago.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 04, 2022, 03:30:57 PM

Real Madrid now win of lot of money to sign a top star after the many bonuses paid out in the UEFA Champions League. Mbappe not coming and Haaland going to Manchester City, Vinicius Junior is currently the third most valuable player. I just looked at Barcelona and they need a Gavi like that at the age of 17. Wow!
Alot of transfers coming up in the coming weeks ahead, in preparation for next season and Real Madrid haven't won alot of prizes this season will have enough money to go for good players that will make more impact on the club in the next season. Let's wait to see the club's decision in the coming days.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: June 03, 2022, 11:02:03 PM
I don't think a country will become the richest country just because their legalized Bitcoin, but the revenue of El Salvador will only increase if their get directly involved in Bitcoin related ventures, and the Bitcoin bound and building a nationally own mining farm that will help increase the level of awareness and involvement in Bitcoin processing this are the only way the country will be ahead of it critics.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto bubble popping is a good thing? on: June 03, 2022, 10:12:39 PM
In 2014 the presence of altcoins was not this popular and then only Bitcoin was making the market wave with steady ups and down in price, yes the altcoin market have hard impact on the Bitcoin market but for the long term the purpose holds only Bitcoin unless you are willing to gamble with your money only then you should buy altcoin for easy 10x market in whichever directions.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: June 02, 2022, 07:21:20 AM
The news coming out from El Salvador after this adoption are not positive.

We know how the role of fake news could go to an extent especially in cryptocurrency, this was not from Nayib himself making the claim, it's rather fabricated to entice people, why is because i so much believe in news that was utterly presented from the involved personality, i see no reason when there's no official statement from El-Savador that it's regret taken the step on adoption of bitcoin as it legal tender and people and news all around were busy inflicting the media with fake news and articles amd not untill only if we consider them as feebles of bubbles in a thin air, they will continue to deceive people on media just to their own personal interest unknowingly to crypto enthusiast.
The only survey we should be concentrating on is the one from government institutions and not some private institutions, this is because government institutions will be open to more information most especially to official documents that may not be available to a private institution. We all have to wait for government-approved documents that will contain all El Salvador Bitcoin information and position.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: June 02, 2022, 12:43:56 AM
I have been following Bitcoin price for a while now and within the last couple of weeks back, Bitcoin has struggled to resist the $30k region after the price slid down to $25k some time ago before reclaiming back to 30k. This has been correlated with the traditional market movement and conditions.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin on: June 02, 2022, 12:29:08 AM
Congratulations on this new development this is going to be a good thing to look back upon in the next 5 to 8 years coming, your shop will be among the early shops to accept Bitcoin payment and this will also help build your business capacity with modern innovations that will further promote your business within your region most especially if you living among a small community of unbanked people.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the criteria for choosing altcoin on: June 01, 2022, 06:07:31 PM
Choosing altcoin is not that hard of a task, since the coming of the alternative cryptocurrencies with the introduction of the ethereum blockchain, it has given birth to several projects and one of the easiest ways to pick some of the viable coins is in its long term goals as other comments suggested, look for a coin that has utility base because those are the coins that will exist in the market for long. But in doing that you need to put the risk factor into consideration, because one can not 100% predict the future of any coin, not even Bitcoin.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: June 01, 2022, 01:57:41 PM
If you have being following the market right from time, prior to the altcoin boom of 2016 to 2017 there have been a lot of coins that have behaved in this way Luna did and most of them never recover, so personally I will not put so much into Luna unless the amount I just want to gamble with to.make quite bulk from the market volatility.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 01, 2022, 10:06:50 AM
I never expected anything different from the final result of the champion league, Liverpool has not created enough history in the championship to be compared to Real Madrid. Going by past analysis and records Real Madrid is known for their ownership of the champions league Crown and haven't taken the trophy multiple times Liverpool only have a few championship trophy on their record, so with records, Real Madrid is more experience in the champions league than Liverpool.
715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: May 31, 2022, 08:03:01 PM
This is the ultimate advice ever imagine if one has put some good amount of money in Bitcoin since 2011 till date, the profits will be huge by now despite the market reduction recently but 32 thousand dollars Bitcoin price is not a joke, compared to the time of purchase. I will put whatever amount I can into buying more Bitcoin looking away from it for the next 10 years to see how far that could have gone.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie choose a better stable coin on: May 31, 2022, 11:43:12 AM
Just buy Ustd since you said you want to use it to buy when coins prices drop in the future since Used is pegged with the United States dollars. But I will advise you to make good use of the market volatility in the sense that you make more profits from your money rather than just holding a stable coin that will not give and increase. Hold Bitcoin that is the only sure way to. make good profits in the long run since your motive is an investment.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: May 15, 2021, 10:25:30 AM
the vaccine will not make you immune but only to reduce the effects if you are infected with the virus. we can't see the effects of the vaccine any time soon, it will take a while for us to draw a conclusion. I hope this is the end of this pandemic  Cry

You are wrong on multiple fronts. First of all, the vaccine prevents you from contracting the disease (with up to 95% efficiency). And even in case you are infected after the vaccination, the symptoms are likely to be very mild. And secondly, you are wrong when you claim that the effects of the vaccine won't be seen anytime soon. Because we have already seen the impact in countries such as Israel, United Kingdom and Seychelles where the vaccination program has progressed well.
This man does not know anything about vaccination. Dont you ask yourself why people believe so much in vaccines, even the governments? Because it is a gateway helping us to escape the virus forever. There are many good results with vaccines but we should not put down our guard by lifting the medical masks regulations.

The world will soon defeat the virus. Human never loses any battle against mother nature. But we will win with respects
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IT’S ALT SZN!!! Shill Me Your Bags!! on: May 15, 2021, 10:10:11 AM
Thanks for the informative index. I cant believe we hit the altseason so soon. I do not have much money right now but I hope I will be able to earn more than 10 times before the alt season end. And as you say, the scamiest projects can give us the most profitable ROI

Good luck everyone
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has become the rich man's playground... on: May 15, 2021, 09:51:13 AM
Just ignore those billionaires and you will never be affected by the consequences. They try to manipulate the price of cryptos because people like us (not actual like us, they are easier to be affected, trapped in FUD and FOMO) always follow their tweets or any sign they can find

I will keep holding my bitcoin without selling a penny
720  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone here use blockchain.com? on: May 15, 2021, 01:31:36 AM
Apparently their support system goes ignored. I have used them for a long time but now i keep getting a message "Pending buy, once your verify your credit card information the order will complete", if i click more info it will say pending buy again. I deleted my card and tried to re-add it but I get the "pending buy" message in a box instead.. im stuck on this damn pending buy and they have absolutely no help for this
Regard to this issue, you have to wait for at least a day so as to be approved to buy again. Everything is in pending so it is apparent that you can't do anything to make it faster

Personally, I feel that blockchain can't not have a good service like other exchange or wallet providers such as Binance and Coinbase. Gemini is also a good option because it has a high secure app with lot of advance features
