Definitely. I have used international wires for many years and I have never had one take more than 24 hours. Most take a few minutes to a couple of hours. Hi tiptopgemdotcom, You've definitely been most fortunate. Depending on the bank and the region combination, wires can at times take between 2 -4 days to arrive. ANX.HKI don't feel fortunate in this case. Still nothing from Bitstamp. |

I don't get why anyone still has money in MtGox. Why wouldn't you get the hell out YESTERDAY? Someone please clue me in. I agree and never keep much money or coin there. However, Gox remains the most volatile of all of the exchanges. Best way for traders to make money. To "make money" you have to be able to cash it out, don't you? |

You can buy a Moneypak for cash at CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, Walmart, 7-11, etc. No need to put it in anyone's name. I need to see the code from the card along with the receipt that shows you bought it. I am not going to pay coins for a code that you scammed someone out of, in other words.

I have used blockchain.info for at least 18 months. Since I read this thread, I have clicked around and I don't see such a price anywhere. I do see a "market" tab on the top of the site but the link has been down for at least two days.
I WANT you to make a profit, and I understand that nobody is getting money out of gox. That is the whole reason I am here in this section of the forum.

What good is escrow? Will you let the escrow agent hold the coins for 90 days? Chargebacks are the problem.

I don't understand how I could buy a $500 moneypak for $547 one day, and the next day a $500 moneypak costs $650. I saw that the OP refers to his rate being "close to" preev.com, but this doesn't account for the difference.
Right now Preev is 111.40 and Mtgox is 111.42. Where is this "blockchain last" price?

You are 19% below MtGox for a $500 Moneypak. Any plan to adjust to your previous rate?

I remember bitstamp often being higher than gox before the bubble burst.
I expect the BitStamp price will move closer to the MtGox price in a few days. But, being a smaller exchange, BitStamp is inevitably going to be more volatile than MtGox. Still huge gap between Gox and Bitstamp: https://cointhink.com/ Bitstamp nearly $10 cheaper all the time..... If you buy fast at bitstamp and transfer the bitcoins to MtGox and sell the coins there, you can make lots of $$$ You can't cash out of gox. So much for that plan. |
