701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 07, 2019, 12:22:35 PM
There are thousands of altcoins listed on CMC. We had a little bit conversation between my friends. He was saying, only 30-35 altcoins can be useable in blockchain industry in future. Rest of them will be dying for sure. What do you think? What are the points to choose of a coin that might have a bright future? Only use case is the main thing or you will add other? Thanks

I do not agree with the number your friend mentioned or discussed with you. There is no doubt, many altcoins are not even worthy to be created but saying just at most 35 of the entire cryptocurrencies will survive in the long run is not right, in my own opinion I think 85% can be justified as being worthless while the rest have a good chance of long term survival if they keep improving of course.

702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 07, 2019, 12:17:29 PM
To start with, a good number of altcoins are just useless and only used as either for pump and dump or as a means to exit scam. Also, most are just rebranding already existing projects thereby failing to solve any issue at all. Therefore with all these and many more, most people are now more than careful with new altcoins. You asked why there are still investors, investing in these altcoins; I see it as this, they are doing so for their own gains and not for support of the project. That is, buy and dump once trading starts. For your last question, developers who are willing to contribute value develop good projects and vice versa.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 07, 2019, 12:07:53 PM
People will say all manner of rubbish just to gain unnecessary attention. If this is directed to all the useless coins coming up everyday, then it would be a good case but saying trash about ETH does not only show signs of lies but also that of lack of knowledge of what ETH is all about. In this space, everyone knows that ETH is the second top coin and saying contrary to it is just trash and should be discarded.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things to know about ICOs before you invest in them on: December 07, 2019, 11:45:39 AM
Thanks for pointing these out, but on a more serious note, I think the era of ICOs are gone and forgotten, they served their purpose wherein only few projects were legit and a greater number scams thus paving way for IEOs. The fact is, ICOs aren't worth it again as no one is willing to risk their funds in the hands of any team; even if there is an upcoming ICO which looks good, the chances of succeeding is slim because investors are now wise.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bites The Dust? on: December 07, 2019, 11:30:20 AM
Does anyone have any news on Ether Delta? It seems that it hasn't been fully operational for a while and now it's coming up as a 502 Gateway Error. Any news let us know.

It has been long I checked or heard anything about that exchange owing to issues like being slow etc, also I doubt if there are projects still listing there as forkdelta seems to be the best choice. Etherdelta has served its purpose, but since it's finding it hard improving on its shortcomings I think it's best to move to another.

708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are getting smarter but why not developers???? on: December 02, 2019, 06:38:50 AM
investors are invading some exchanges why not developers? i know listing fee can be huge but few exchanges are just scam practitioners, developers should take their time to check out scam accusation thread on this forum and see how many people are been ripped off by these so called exchanges e.g idax p2pb2b among others

Some developers however can't do that, because even they aren't genuine; check this out, how can you develop a project then watch it die? It means there wasn't anything good about the project in the first place. Now on the part of investors, once they try participating in a project and realized it is getting listed or doing IEO on bad exchanges they will just take their leave because they have had past experiences with those exchanges. Like you also pointed out, listing fee can be an issue but there are still good exchanges that doesn't require huge listing fee.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: December 02, 2019, 06:33:55 AM
Recently, I noticed that all the platforms are just like pausing launching new IEOs, If you notice top IEOs launcher platforms like Binance, Okex,Kucoin or Huobi, you will see a gap between 1-1.5 months. ICOs, then IEOs, then What next?

What choice do they have than to give enough space for investors to have enough breathing room, but yet it shows that the zeal investors once had towards IEO is going down faster as most the IEOs nowadays aren't what they used to be. On the other hand too, IEOs will continue to be slower untill eventually it stops because investors are fade up too, imagine holding an exchange token and not able to participate in the IEO and the token dumps on you; also no new thing other than pump and dump.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a gradual process on: November 30, 2019, 07:23:01 AM
It's true, it's a gradual process as good things takes time. Bitcoin has survived many storms and phases yet here it is, breaking boundaries and attracting huge attention from anyone in the world. On most websites today, there is one ads or the other about the crypto, this shows the world is coming to understand that fact that it can only get better with crypto. Although mass adoption might take time because of the sad events in this space as well as scam projects, but it will surely come one day.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: November 30, 2019, 07:18:28 AM
I think it is a bit more legit if an IEO is launch on bigger exchanges. Because they know that it can be very hard to enter big exchanges and convince them that your project is very useful and insight of having a very solid future to get funds using them. What's you opinion on this? Do you think there are other reasons if they choose other small exchange platforms?

I think otherwise though, most of these exchanges cares less about whatever any project is offering or what lies within the project, what they care after is the funds they are to receive from the projects and nothing more. The only thing top exchanges has is hype; most of the projects that did IEO on top exchanges, how many of them are really on the right path? So therefore, being legit doesn't mean the type of exchange rather it means the idea the team is selling.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: November 30, 2019, 07:12:01 AM
What is your take on the dwindling of the prices of cryptos? What do you think are the factors behind its fluctuation? What is your percentage (%) backing on crypto investments? How about your investment portfolio, is the return on your investments (ROI) encouraging? What is your advice to crypto investors now?
Let us discuss.

The dwindling prices of cryptocurrencies can be attributed to fake news or fud which leads to market emotions etc. The market took another shape when China released a news and that's what I mean. Also, talking about my portfolio and ROI, it's not looking good at the moment but am hopeful owing to the type of coins I stocked up. Furthermore in the aspect of investors, the only person who can advice you, is yourself, investors have seen that most projects aren't worth it therefore it would be good if they stick to trustworthy ones and forget hype etc.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 30, 2019, 07:08:11 AM
Currently, in this day and age, all governments around the world have adopted fiat currencies as a means for its citizens to trade with one another and to trade with other nations around the world. However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

I can see that fiat currency has many flaws as all types of currencies before it, but with the new “government cryptocurrency” would it be able to solve the problems that fiat currency has and make a better economy? I’m not really sure myself as I can’t really predict the future.

Considering that fiat currency replaced all the previous currencies before it, would cryptocurrency replace fiat currency in the future?

The government loves control and fiat gives them that power to do so, blockchain and cryptocurrencies are hardly controlled thus the term decentralization. Because of this control, removing fiat and holding on to crypto might be a difficult thing to do, even if they should, it will be a centralized cryptocurrency that will still give them power to do whatever they want. Who knows, in years to come it might be a reality but for now, I don't think it's possible.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: November 30, 2019, 07:04:17 AM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.

No they have taken the glory of this space, if they have I don't think anyone will be interested in the affairs of this space again. Rather I will say, scam projects are drawing this space back, because the funds that would have been used to invest in valauble projects are been taken by scammers. Also, another thing holding us from moving forward is all these hacks and bad news from exchanges. But even at all these, the crypto space has come to stay it's only a matter of time.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam attempt? Or Nothing to panic? on: November 29, 2019, 10:06:05 PM
This is a clear picture of exit scam nothing more nothing less to say on it. The CEO really planned all these and took off, but I think he will be caught; wonder what have him the mindset to do so. This is sending a wrong signal that most CEOs might think of this, nevertheless let's endeavour or implore the habit of storing assets off exchanges, because none is ever safe.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signal Premium?? on: November 29, 2019, 10:03:27 PM
Is it profitable to join the premium trading signal ??  I was offered by my friend to join him on the note having to pay a few dollars, I am still doubtful about this but I want to get into the premium signal once to find out the trade in it.

Why would you like to get involved with such when you can learn about trading. The simple truth is most of these signal groups are not worth it. In year past I was in most of these groups and I ran into losses ever since then I have learnt my lessons. The best thing is to learn trading and therefore when you see the so called premium signals you will know if it's correct or not.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 28, 2019, 10:12:29 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

This depends on how the hack tool place. If the hack takes place in the exchange affecting many users, then it's the exchanges fault and not yours. It has been proven many times that these exchanges aren't safe thus saving funds on exchanges isn't a good idea. Then on the other hand, if you visit a phishing website or didn't secure your details well and your details gets stolen thus you get hacked, you are to blame.
The best way to secure yourself is save funds outside exchanges. Set up 2fa security. Also, visit CMC, search your desired exchange, access and login from there.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 10:03:04 PM
A friend from my street came by today to tell about a coin named LCC (Litecoin cash) and he told me he has already invested on the coin, i asked him what makes him invested in it, like what is the real use case of the coin and he have no straight answer, after a while i found out he invested in the coin because of what a analyst said about the project, are there people like this on here? after so many scams since 2018? i decide to do few diggings and i see that LCC is not that bad but my point is why invest on a project because someone said they are good?

This single act of listening to whatever people say whether on the internet or otherwise has dealth with many people.  During the ICO boom many projects were said to be good etc but ended up being the reverse. Let's learn to be careful of what is being sold to us as information about a project and endeavour to make our own research, it will save us from many headaches.
Educate your friends and families who have interest in the crypto space to be careful and learn to invest the right way.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CONSISTENCY PAYS on: November 28, 2019, 09:57:54 PM
Yes, never say never right? That's it, the world belongs to risk takers but also it's good making or taking calculated risks. What am driving at is, owing to the nature of the market it's wise for one to trade carefully and ensure he is grounded and armed with the neccessary knowledge about trading. However I trade but not like I used to, as am holding some of my coins and buying BTC the little I can.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 28, 2019, 09:52:53 PM
This is the truth most people are yet to know or already know but chose not to follow it because they are only after immediate profit anticipated from a project and nothing more. It's high time we start understanding this and thus giving high reference to these types of projects. An example is BTC or ETH, both are the most valued coins because they have an issue they are solving, and anyone holding them hardly panics unlike others with no use case.
