701  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia loses billions of USD to crude oil sabotage on: May 09, 2019, 11:42:12 AM
I doubt this was a mistake, it could have been a angry business who did this, am ruling out a possible external collusion. Anyway, the Russian government ought to have a back-up fund to cover for the losses. I hope this won't affected their economic and currency.
702  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela on: May 09, 2019, 11:28:18 AM
I think the major sin of this troubled Maduro is his allegiance with Russia and US government don't want to see Russians calling the short in this South America country, and Maduro decision to stop accepting dollars for oil trade, can't tell if this was fully implemented. US government will hunt any top oil producing countries that are not super power, that plan to drop the USD for crude oil trade. Maduro has not helped his country economically.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: May 08, 2019, 01:41:15 PM
The prolonged bad situation of the market has been a major setback for all coins in the market, and traders are currently very careful not to play too, as they are always at alert to any news. Litecoin will be fine, it's going still feeling the market heat. Traders will trust bitcoin more than any other coin in the market, so major funds are always flowing to bitcoin.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Fraud Hits 1.2 Billion on: May 08, 2019, 12:20:22 PM
What happens in crypto does happen too in real sector. People should stop been greedy with a quick gain mentality and they should avoid HYIP, and they should well to safeguarding their wallets. Avoiding a phishing project is key. Participation in  ICO and IEO should be very discreet and minimal.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance hacked. How can this affect altcoin market? on: May 08, 2019, 12:13:27 PM
The cash that was stolen is just $40m and this is negligible to the altcoin market. Besides, the CEO of Tron has pledge to deposit 7,000BTC on binaance in support of CZ to purchase BNB, TRON and BitTorrent. So others stake holders will likely same line. No issues, the hackers are the losers.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ventilation - Is this going to work? on: May 07, 2019, 02:32:44 PM
The room humidity is poor, it needs proper ventilation and the temperature of the ambient has to be further brought down. I understand that an air-conditioner is an additional cost on the electricity cost, there are power savings air-conditioners. The equipment must be protected from overheating and damage for utmost performance.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: May 04, 2019, 02:58:37 AM
For me, it has been a tale of woes, my last bounty paid just about $12, which I had to just convert an altcoin that later dumped because the CEO and his workers had a dead lock. I limited my participation in bounty program and when I want to participate rigorously, I prefer an automated platform, it makes things easier, transparency might be lacking though.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 04, 2019, 02:50:36 AM
Your listed points are the ultimate goals of the blockchain. nevertheless, I believe having one's password stored offline is most safer and secured, anyone can be careless online and can be spied upon. The use of middleman in handling records can be very expensive and even may lead to breach of trust.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can lost Bitcoins be traced? on: May 04, 2019, 02:45:56 AM
A stolen bitcoin can be traced, using the transaction hash, although it may not be tied to the thief name, but with the increasing KYC on some wallet providers, tracing might be lot easier. While stolen bitcoin can overly be tracked to its end point. If such a thief wishes to offload the stolen bitcoin in an exchange, the exchange can be alerted for a freezing of the account and demand a compulsory KYC before withdrawal to unravel his identity. All these are cumbersome. There some full blown Privacy coin that may never be tracked because they leave no trace.
710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Exchange Coinbene - be careful on: May 03, 2019, 09:46:38 AM
I traded Howdoo there, and just before it was hacked I withdrew my Howdoo, I have never have to return back to it again after they resume their operations. Had to sell off my tokens on Idex market. A freind has been trading on coinbene he hasn't had a bad experience, once you present your proof, I will show him in other to avoid losses.
711  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Doctors lie? on: May 03, 2019, 09:39:04 AM
A doctor was once asked "why do you smoke, since you do advise that smokers are liable to die young?" his reply was that "Something must kill a man and that himself has chosen to die through smoking". Well the medical doctor was only expressing his human addiction nature that although it's medically not good to smoke, but since he himself is addicted to smoking and he has find no way of stopping it, he may as well die off it. The doctor didn't lie but succumbed to his weakness,.
712  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy Yes OR No ??? on: May 03, 2019, 09:31:15 AM
Someone once stated that the problem of democracy is that "It's a majority vote that decides the leader and majority can be wrong", this I read from one of Dr Myles Munroe publications. While Sir Wilson Churchill inferred that  "democracy is the worst form of government apart from the rest". Democracy may lead to sycophantic leader been elected in a multi ethic country, this way, the best may never get to power, sometimes they just sell lies to the people. Although most world population think and believe democracy is the best form of government.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: May 03, 2019, 09:23:22 AM
When one doesn't understand a project and know less about the team and the ability of the team to deliver on promise. It's always best not to follow the bandwagon syndrome of following the crowd to avoid avoidable landmark error. Stick to what you know best and understand this way, you will always play safe.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: May 02, 2019, 01:39:36 PM
Projects that offer paradigm shift will impress me, And not a project that aims to chase another from the market or the one that comes condemning  technology but after crowdfunding, they go to sleep lamenting the bearish state of the market for their inactivity and developmental pause. I still admire projects that are self-funded like the veil, polymath and offer superior technology and not shitty cheap projects.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: May 02, 2019, 01:21:50 PM
Someone that doesn't know basics of how things work, will be frustrated with the technical aspect. I think it will be fair to distinguish between fiat/paper money (what they already know and bitcoin(what they want to know), teach them from the known to the unknown. This way, the knowledge should sink.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I Turned My Rigs Off... on: May 02, 2019, 01:12:35 PM
I guess you should have continue instead of turning it off and smoking cigar to cry a little. You said you are making little decent money, and your electricity seems to be cheap if I get your electricity submission conversion. Maybe except for the heat generated which can be moved to a better location with a coolant.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 02, 2019, 01:03:48 PM
Since I don't have mining equipment yet, trying to raise fund to jointly set up one with a long time crypto partner, ever since our first mining rig project failed because of fraudulent builder, we have been actively involved in trading and teaching others about crypto. Once my Veil wallet is done synchronizing, I will have to participate in Proof-Of-Stakes (pos). The Proof-Of-Work (pow) mining may be started later by my team.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Scottish people choose Bitcoin rather than a "Scottish Pound"? on: April 30, 2019, 03:36:21 PM
They will not choose the bitcoin. The bitcoin market is currently too small to be adopted by a nation that is not an economic power house of the world, this is due to the high volatility of the market, and the scalability of bitcoin network needs improvement too. This can be adopted as a national currency in the future, it won't be a bad idea if any government invest in bitcoin market to boost their economy.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: April 30, 2019, 03:23:07 PM
We only know of bitcoin the one created by Satoshi Nakamoto, and BitcoinSatoshi(BSV) is nothing but controversy. It's just another shit coin like BitcoinCash. I wonder how many people use BCH now after all the misleading information from the community that BCH was bitcoin, they failed and here comes this imposter called Wright with SV, dead on arrival.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade on: April 30, 2019, 03:05:12 PM
Even without any network improvement on the ethereum network, $200 is a price too small for a coin like ETH. I can't say the upgrade you are talking about, I thought the Constantinople was already done. The proof-of-stake, am not sure if they will be switching to it from proof-of-work.
