701  Economy / Digital goods / Re: The Collapse of the Bitcoin Generator Bot on: March 12, 2015, 07:42:14 PM
"Bitcoin generator bot" sounds like a total scam, have fun with your virus's!

Please refrain from posting here if you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Clearly you're just posting to boost your post count for your sig campaign earnings. Roll Eyes

The bot did not contain any viruses or anything, not to mention it was designed to be set up on a completely remote machine, a VPS.

I would like to ask if my post is what the script did. If not, I would also like to ask what it actually did do.
702  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scam for steam gift cards on: March 12, 2015, 07:41:21 PM
I'm waiting for the followup reply stating that it was just a misunderstanding and you got your code(s) and that the site is totally legit...

Sneaky marketing technique Tongue

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

Unless they turned into a scam in the recent weeks, I believe they're legit as I've personally bought a few steam wallet codes from them not too long ago. The wallet codes seem to be legit since I haven't had them reversed from my account.

LOL! That's exactly how I would have seen it. Seeing as this member is a newbie and first post, I'm pretty sure that's the tactic.

I'm pretty sure the generator was that there were multiple accounts on separate proxies being able to click on ads over and over. That's why it was a generator.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What effect will Ethereum have on Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2015, 07:35:49 PM
The main effect will be the Ethereum employees having a good time with the investors' money. They'll make some excuses for why nothing of value was accomplished and move on to something else.

Hopefully they're not the next Butterfly labs. This is a lot of money we're talking about!
705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Paying Bitcoin Faucets list for newbies :) on: March 12, 2015, 07:33:42 PM
Useful information,

Thank you!

Thanks, just updated the faucetbox faucet list with 5 brand new faucets that pay +20% more than the general average.

Also all faucets either pay to faucetbox or microwallet, so you only need to keep track of your 2 accounts at faucetbox & microwallet, and can easily use 100+ faucets in the meantime because all of the income will go to those 2 wallets.

The problem with such lists is that they are outdated EXTREMELY fast. So how often do you plan to upgrade those?

They are updated weekly or even faster if 1 faucet goes bankrupt. They wont get outdated faster than 1 week, nowadays faucets are more stable, besides only established well paying faucets are on my list.

So don't need to worry about that  Wink

Faucets are definitely not stable! Most do get outdated very fast because faucet owners don't think of the long term gains from their faucet or they dry out.

You may be paying up for a bit of time, but when you get big (probably never), you will run off with all the money.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dire warning inside on: March 12, 2015, 07:30:01 PM
Most of you guys here are too hopeful for the price. Remember that Bitcoin could easily crash 500 bucks in a single day due to some catastrophic bitcoin event. There are many more variables to be seen.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could 1 satoshi become worth $1? on: March 12, 2015, 07:28:15 PM
By the time a satoshi becomes a dollar, the USD would be worthless leading to a price that high. That's the only thing I can see.
709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dire warning inside on: March 12, 2015, 07:08:08 PM
Bitcoin is too undervalued right now! It cant go below beyond this! Thanks for your warning.

It can go below this. In fact, it can go to pennies if it wanted to.

The lowest I've seen within the past year is less than a hundred.

Interesting that you come here only now. The last transaction on that website was 8 months ago.

If possible, would multiple people be able to get a script for a site like this and rebrand it?
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dire warning inside on: March 12, 2015, 06:53:21 PM
Don't you just love it when people decide to look up the definition of things?

Your warning is pretty meaningless. It's extreme speculation.

Whoever won the US Marshall selloff would probably be able to bring down this price.

Bitcoin doesn't work like the stock market.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: What if the necessity of use outweighs the desire of gold? on: March 12, 2015, 06:40:26 PM
Essentially we need to encourage people to spend and spend so that it becomes a norm. Eventually one day when the mining reward is gone and the network will depend entirely on fees alone to survive, it will become a big problem, because people will continue with similar trend and hold it idling in the wallet.
But Bitcoin feels too much like gold. When you own some you value it too much to spend it on mundane shit, when you have fiat for that.

It does feel like gold, but it does not work like Gold.

Gold is meant to maintain its value. It usually can't fall more than 20 dollars a day and most can't afford buying even a gold coin! Keeping your money in gold for the long term insures your investment.

You can't really do that with Bitcoin. It's 6x cheaper to buy and the prices could change in a second. One moment it could be less than a hundred and then you see it go up to 500. It's mostly a pump and dump or some media fluff that makes it really move.
713  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] $300-$700 PP [W] BTC on: March 12, 2015, 06:31:34 PM
Since paypal is reversible, no one will want to go over this trade. You're also a low rank and have no trust to back up. I would suggest a better method like Walmart to Walmart or another non-reversible payment method.
714  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NSA vs CIA ? Reason behind a break down between the two? on: March 12, 2015, 06:07:19 PM
NSA is a cyber spy agency and the CIA is a physical spy agency. They should actually work together to gather intel before targeting someone. I see no reason behind a breakdown between the two.
715  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islamic State says it has killed two men for homosexuality on: March 12, 2015, 06:05:24 PM
They just killed 20 innocent, non homosexual people just a few days ago. If they're saying that like it's a big thing, they've been mostly targeting journalists. This is like saying they've killed all these men for doing freelance journalism.
716  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is the most powerful politician? on: March 12, 2015, 06:03:40 PM
I don't think Obama is the most powerful politician.

He's the biggest target but can he really persuade people to do whatever he wants? No.

Well? Isn't he the guy just dropping drone strikes all over the foreign countries?

He may be able to persuade some people, but not Iran or North Korea.
717  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] is also responsible for AMHASH on: March 12, 2015, 06:01:36 PM
Yes Havelock is responsible, but for now, I see more speculation against ASICMINER itself. It's they who have not sent the payments in which is why a lot of people (including me) have not got their sig payments.

Forget it, they have us running around circles until most of us will tire and move on, this is not the first fiasco HL is involved on and acted the same: they profited from this, they took our money and they have to return it

Who can really prove that HL is not involved in a really complicated scheme to paint all this impossible picture?, they did the same with N&B.

Now, i use the principle of FOLLOW THE MONEY, the only thing for certain that we know is that some of us gave our money to AMHASH and some to HAVELOCK, besides that, everything can be lies, who can proof beyond any doubt that HL and AM are not accomplices?, or not?.

We need to center in what we know for sure, that in this case is that we gave or money to HL and AM, now, realistically, AM is unreachable, HL is reachable by being in the western world which is much more regulated and also HL has some target that they cannot hide like its website and online business that we can put a lot of pressure over.

Frankly i think that the Bitcoin world will be better off without scammers like HL so we will bring that site down, should they not come to honor their compromises.

Based on what I read from your past posts, you want to get your money back, but you talk about these insane amounts of money without any proof of sending that amount. I see 20-200 btc.

Though, you can keep going on for quite awhile before you ever get your few btc back, and by the time you do get it back, btc would probably be too low.

719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Everything Be Decentralized? on: March 12, 2015, 05:41:01 PM
I would actually like everything to be centralized, but by someone who could insure everything when using their services. In that, they charge you a fee or a monthly invoice for somewhat of an insurance.
720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Selfie Trend’ Officially Declared a 'mental disorder' on: March 12, 2015, 05:38:28 PM
This is quite possibly the stupidest mental disorder. The disease revolves around people who are self centered or think the world revolves around them.
