thanks for the tips.
i stoped today with gpu mining. It makes no sense in my case.
I cant get better than 1,95 Mhash per Watt with my 7970 from Powercolor,
which is not enough.
I will sell the 2 cards on ebay, and buy the coins directly.
I already daytraded (or weekly) some coins in the past (1-2 BTC per coin, 2k€ atm). That works for me.
Unless i get free solar power i will not mine again.
(Solar investment ROI from mining, maybe i will think about it :-)

I tried everything. The card has good Asic Quality (87%) but i cant go under 1.000V.

Habe mir auch schon überlegt was zu basteln wenn ich wirklich mit GPU's heizen würde  Isolierung mit Styropor So ein kleines Peltiermodul oder so + thermostat. Müste man mal testen und ausrechnen. Ich denke man muss die ganze Heizung verkleiden damit es effektiv ist. Von welchen Marken sind die Karten eigentlich? Auf wieviel Khash kommst du pro Karte? |

Ok thanks i will try it. i set the memoryclock from 1900 back to standart (1375). it saves 8-12 Watt, and i am still at the same 710 Khash. I will undervolt and see what happens.  |
