I know we are correcting now, but is there some explanation /theory/news for the last 24h rally?

People purchased based upon the expectation of the great news from coinbase.

The fact that a FDIC insured and regulated exchange in the US with over 1million usable accounts to start has opened with 0 trading fees instead of 1% like before is a big deal. The fact that we will be able to use coinbase to set limit orders and trade at 0-0.25% instead of 1% is a big deal. The fact that no other exchange offers FDIC for usd balances is a big deal.

Thank you, Trust  Wink

We need this guys engaging with BTC to achieve the mass adoption. Also sony, xbox and whatever technology you can imagine of. Letīs launch ideas, donīt mind if it seems improbable or absurd, just launch it to the table. Maybe it can make click in the mind of other reader and connect the dots. This is how brainstorming works

You mean free bitcoin with every nintendo device you buy ?

I didnīt mean that, but I like the idea

Originally writed this post in the wall observer, but I think the whole idea can work better as a separated post. Also the wall observer is full of trollnoise.

Idea no 1: Generate a kickstarter campaign to develop a game that uses cryptos, ala Crypto Kingdom, but in a more engaging/graphical/action/mainstream/3D fashion. Real BTC/crypto is involved in the game. You can win real money if you are a good player. What could possibly be the mechanics of the game?

Can someone launch a speculative cypher of how much money has bitstamp done in his history and in a standard month?

I you were the hacker, how could you use the BTCs in a way to not get cached? Maybe buying monero and disappearing in the ring-signature hyperspace?.

Even that would be extremely dangerous... to me it seems the stolen 18k are almost unusable

In the US, you have Coinbase monitoring your transactions and cancelling accounts if you spend BTC at a gambling site, buy cannabis seeds, or do whatever is deemed unacceptable by the gov.

Is this true? If it is, are they just monitoring transactions out of Coinbase (Coinbase->dice) or further (Coinbase->wallet->dice)?

I can confirm with 100% certainly they monitor what you are doing and ask questions not just transactions out but also transactions in.

I don't know specifically what blockchain analysis they are doing, how far down the chain it goes, etc.

There are reports (which I can't confirm) of false positives on allegedly suspicious BTC activity which suggest they are looking more than one hop.

Cool news

This is how I would expect the bitcoin price to move if it were to die a slow death...

Totally agree

We are on 18# in coinmarketcap. Cheers.

Still 8th when you take out all the nonminable-premined shit.
same place as has been for a very long time.

So 10 nonminable-premined shit have more marketcap than XMR, fantastic.

Pls note Im not blaming nobody. I just wanted to express some frustration... I guess itīs hoarding time, again.

To certain cabal calculations, BTC should be at least in 2-10k range and XMR around 120USD.

Reality is recognized in its improbability
