Hello everyone, we are looking to add people to our team.  We would like to start with another Developer and a PR/Social Media person.  Please shoot me a PM with qualifications and references.  Please be familiar with our products.  We can discuss all the details offline.

Thank you

So they could give you all their personal details (real or otherwise) then 'scam' and those details are still locked tight? If you give someone a 7/7 for example and they bail with everyones money what would the situation be then?

Curious about that too. I mean, great, a dev has been checked out and is shown to be using his real name + address + email. Dev then abandons a coin or runs an ico scam and bails ... then what?

First off, even if he provided real info to you, and you shared it, how does that help anyone? What are they going to do? Form a mob and go after him, or start a lawsuit in what is probably some out of the way foreign country?

And if you do share the personal info for said developer, wouldn't that basically destroy your own trust system, meaning no devs at all would ever sign up with you again?

I think this is a great start and I applaud Coinsource for taking a step in the right direction.  In my opinion, they should seek out some legal council before setting anything in stone.  What if information is released and the developer get attacked, harmed or killed?  I think there are a lot of serious questions that need to be looked at from all angles.

Keep up the good work guys.

Please could you confirm than after registering and validate the email, no other proof like ID or something will be asked for withdraw coin ? ( as i saw there is USD trades too)

Anything exchange related you would need to check on their website.  As far as USD, there is always special circumstances for conversion to fiat (AFAIK).

It's better to open an thread for trading under marketplace until Ultc is on an exchange. Smiley

Agreed.  You can link this thread so they can see what you are offering.

Question:
What is CDIC? Is it Canada Deposit Insurance corporation? If yes, then they ensure "deposits" in a bank:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Deposit_Insurance_Corporation

" The CDIC insures Canadians' deposits held at Canadian banks (and other member institutions) up to CA$100,000 in case of a bank failure."

not some random company like Umbrella is showing itself to be. So yeah good try.

No affiliation with the Canadian company you mention.

Ok....  you  have a great coin here dev if  this...

Example: John owns 1 BTC and an equal amount (in value) of Umbrella-BTC.  Bob owns 1 BTC.  Both are held on Exchange XYZ.  Exchange XYZ fails and declares bankruptcy protection.  John opens up a claim to the CDIC and gets his Umbrella-BTC returned to him.  John is still out 1 BTC, but not completely wiped out by the exchange collapse.  On the other hand, Bob has lost all his money and has no where to turn for help.  He posts a sympathy thread on reddit hoping for donations :-(

...becomes truth all people eventually will get in , on this coin.

but we nedd marketing, a IRC channel for the comunity and some "trustable"  exchange.

well lets see tomorrow!

More FUD on the thread?  That should be moved to our unofficial thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=689836.0

Anyhow, Yes we need more people involved.  Anyone who is interested in helping please shoot me a PM.  Lot's of work to do from this point on.

We are working with two exchanges at the moment.  Already have pentests scheduled.  Will post more information when things become finalized.

Thanks everyone,

i have r9 290 + (2)r9 290x, i've always ran TC 32765 without any problems, but it's saying my scrypt settings come to xxxxxxxxxxx and decrease TC or increase LG, idk what LG is, but i dropped TC even more and still not working.

i was getting all the HW i think bc i remove TC from bat

Odd, I run a couple R9 270 and didn't have to touch any settings.  Kept them the same as other scrypt coins.

720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ʉ Umbrella | The First Insured Cryptocurrencies | Umbrella-LTC | ULTC on: July 28, 2014, 06:04:17 PM
A portion of the premine to insurance, half the rewards to insurance, a new account/developer, plans on releasing/maintaining multiple coins instead of focusing on one, merged litecoin block chain not released merged, 99% of hash on one pool (decent pool btw), 3rd launch, ..... ?? ....

Read the Ann thread again.

No premine used for insurance.

We are only focusing on ULTC at the moment.

We have no control over pools, we could create our own but that would piss people off..right?  We tried FDC, no pools responded.  We reached out to several MM pools but they are slow to respond.  They are coming...

2nd Launch only because everyone was complaining about it being raped by solo miners.

So what is the solution?  Impossible to please everyone.  So far HC Miners seems like a good pool.

Maybe this isn't the coin for you?

Thank you for looking.
