701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T-20 World Cup match Predictions and Players performance thread....!!! on: March 31, 2016, 05:04:31 PM
So England won , And Black Caps are out of the tournament . By the start of the match that Black Caps are going to score more then 180s but everything went wrong .

I would put money on New Zealand to win the world cup this year.
They are a power house of a team and no other team can beat them when they go to bat first.

Hmm but interesting fact is , in this World cup they haven't chosen to bat second at all . Maybe it would be tuff if they loose the toss? and I will go for India to win this cup .
That is what I am stating. They haven't, they choose to bat first that is if they do win the toss.
India are favorites but I think I will stick to New Zealand to win it all. I would put money on it  Smiley

I wouldn't call India favourites at all. It has been a one man show so far.
We know that Virat Kohli can't succeed all the time.

Yea , I agree with you its not about one man army its about all team members they all need to perform well .

Sometimes, it is not sufficient even if Kohli performs.
India manage to lose the match.
It will be West Indies vs England.

What is the major difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum?  And also bitcoin is worldwide accepted there are so many other altcoins but are they even 10% of bitcoin used?

Ethereum is a platform for "smart" applications -applications which run exactly as programmed. It is supposed to eliminate the need for lawyers, judges, etc in the enforcement of contracts. Others may be able to throw more light on this.

Is Ethereum, a new virtual currency, the new Bitcoin 2.0?

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/business/is-ethereum-a-new-virtual-currency-the-new-bitcoin-2-0/articleshow/51582644.cms

A new virtual gold rush is underway.

Even as Bitcoin, riven by internal divisions, has struggled, a rival virtual currency — known as Ethereum — has soared in value, climbing 1,000 percent over the past three months.

Beyond the price spike, Ethereum is also attracting attention from giants in finance and technology, like JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft and IBM, which have described it as a sort of Bitcoin 2.0.

The new rules the FSA is promoting on virtual currency exchanges could make Japan one of the first countries to regulate Bitcoin at a national level.

"Japan hasn't previously been enthusiastic about fintech," said Sato. "But creating these rules this fast could gain the world's attention."

Bitcoin entrepreneurs, often reliant on investment for growth, have called for clearer regulation and will welcome the latest changes, said Yuzo Kano, founder and CEO of Bitcoin exchange bitFlyer, and head of the Japan Authority for Digital Assets, a lobbying group.

"The establishment of the law is extremely surprising," Kano said, referring to how quickly the FSA had drafted the law. "It's set to be very successful."

I think pakistan would need a couple of miracles to actually qualify but they should do the thing they have there hands on right now i.e winning and beating a top AU team.. They do need other things but that's what they should at least try doing.

Pakistan need to defeat Australia. That would indeed qualify as a miracle.
Their run rate is pretty okay, because of the big defeat of Bangladesh.

Bank of England Works on Rival to Bitcoin Currency

http://www.newindianexpress.com/world/Bank-of-England-Works-on-Rival-to-Bitcoin-Currency/2016/03/15/article3328219.ece

Computer scientists have devised a digital crypto-currency in league with the Bank of England that could pose a devastating threat to large tranches of the financial industry, and profoundly change the management of monetary policy.
The proto-currency known as RSCoin has vastly greater scope than Bitcoin, used for peer-to-peer transactions by libertarians across the world, and beyond the control of any political authority.

Some good seems to have come out of all this.
2 matches at Dharamshala have already been rained out. Looks like Mr Virbhadra Singh's intervention has ensured that we will indeed get a full 20 over Indo-Pak T20 match.  Smiley

And now there is rain in Calcutta as well!!
Rain seems to be determined to be present at the venue of the India Pakistan cricket match.  Grin

The government has reduced interest rates on PPF from 8.7% to 8.1%. This will hit retirees and small investors hard. The government seems intent on making fixed return investments attractive.  Grin

Hi guys, I want to let you know about my 1st bet so far for tomorrows match  !

This is for the hotly anticipated india vs Pakistan match and will be a single for now.

The event can be found here : https://vegascasino.io/sportsbook/pre-live/event/c3p2Fhe6exFiurBp8?ref=n6Z5masjimyNmEc5j

Match date :
Saturday March 19th 2016
Play Starts 19:30 IST (14:00 GMT)

Match : India VS Pakistan
Betting Option : 1st Over Total Runs: Over 5.5
Odds : 1.9
Stake : 15 mBTC (0.015)
Return : 28.49 mBTC (0.02849)

Reasoning :
India vs Pakistan has always been a heated match due to the rivalry between the two teams. The sheer fanbase surrounding the two teams and the past performance given by india especially has made me choose this as my bet for the match. India have always aimed to start of strong in a match even in the match against new Zealand scoring over 5.5 runs in the first over even though going on to lose sadly. Hopefully you enjoy the match and don't forget to bet at vegas casino for the best odds !

it was a amazing match tho Cheesy but tommorrows match is gonna be bigger lol Cheesy ind vs pak Tongue

Nothing can rival an India - Pakistan match. Hope it doesn't turn out to be an anticlimax.
If India loses, they are virtually out of the tournament.

Bitcoin Finds Room in Small Funds; Large Institutions Still on Sidelines

http://gadgets.ndtv.com/internet/news/bitcoin-finds-room-in-small-funds-large-institutions-still-on-sidelines-815449

Digital currency Bitcoin has found favor among smaller investors, thanks to the availability of funds designed to invest in it, but remains a niche among the larger investing community.

Investors at some family offices, smaller mutual funds, and traders at hedge funds say Bitcoin has helped returns and demonstrated a low correlation with other asset classes.

Microsoft Says Still Accepts Bitcoin, Apologises for 'Inaccurate Information'

False alarm, everyone. Microsoft isn't dropping support for payments via Bitcoin currency from the Microsoft Store. The Redmond, Washington-based said on Monday that it conveyed inaccurate information over the weekend.

Bitcoin community took a big blow last weekend when a support page on Microsoft website said that the company won't accept the cryptocurrency on Microsoft Store, and by extension, the Windows Store.

Microsoft Pulls Bitcoin Support From Windows Store

http://gadgets.ndtv.com/internet/news/microsoft-pulls-bitcoin-support-from-windows-store-813500

Microsoft no longer accepts payments in Bitcoins on the Microsoft Store, a limitation that stretches to the Windows Store. The company updated its support page to note that it has dropped support for the aforementioned virtual currency from its app store on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile platforms.

The company's decision to pull support for payments via Bitcoin currency comes over a year after the company first implemented it for apps and other content on the Windows Store and Xbox stores in partnership with BitPay for US users.

You can send poop on your behalf to people you hate. Some startups also offer the ability to accept bitcoins (digital currency). For many like me, this is the first reason to get a bitcoin. Critics, however, say that a box of poop is the same as a box of bitcoins - both worthless.

So with Bangladesh having a comprehensive victory over Oman, the teams for the next stage have been decided. Bangladesh would hate having to go through a qualifying round and will want to play well against the other test teams.
