701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: October 04, 2023, 10:25:51 AM
Sorry to say, but at this life cycle of Bitcoin, it has already become very hard for an average person to become successful with Bitcoin, take it or leave it, but this is the truth, the higher the value of Bitcoin, the harder it will always get for poor people to join the train, today if I have to advice anyone to invest in Bitcoin with the hope of making life changing money, I will advice them to go hard on bitcoin, they need a lot of money, for that hope to work in real life.

You need a full BTC, 15k, 17k, etc I don't care, but you need one Bitcoin to make 80k or maybe 150k in the next bull market, see how much you are investing again? Even if you are going to achieve this through DCA it's still no child's play, it's a lot for this gain.

Which is why I invest also in Altcoins, it could sound like a bad idea but people are doing this to get more Bitcoin, and also it won't cost you a fraction of 15k to invest in good altcoin so as to bag more Altcoins.
702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful were you put your hard earn money on: October 04, 2023, 09:02:34 AM
Few people are able to figure out that Bitconect is scam, I can't remember how many posts I've read about Bitconnect been scam and it eventually turn into a scam, many people are too lazy when it comes to doing their own research that's why they are caught in this scam.

The same thing was going around with Luna, even on YouTube, some people are saying it will end badly for Luna, some smart fellas took out their profits and those who don't believe get wrecked in the end, but I will like to say something about this alts.

If you invested $50 in Bitconnect and Onecoin and they turned out to be scam, how will this ruin a life when it's two out of fifteen altcoins you have? It's a gamble isn't it? Because this us the way I view all altcoins, not all your picks will be a successful one, some are going to meet a cruel end.

Also, even before Bitconnect turned scam, many people are lucky to make a profit out of them, the same thing with Luna, it was one of the most profitable projects of that year, the problem was that many didn't want to take their profit, they got married to their bags.
703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc.game not honouring deposit bonus on: October 04, 2023, 08:13:02 AM
I don't believe in high bonuses from small online casinos anymore, I've become a victim myself and I am not doing it again, but there is a possibility that the big bonuses are for few numbers of gamblers for a limited period of time.

Some new crypto exchanges are also doing something like this, I could remember Bitget and Bybit doing the same thing too, but they should be more transparent about it.

When new casinos are doing their bonuses and offers, always have it in mind that not everything will be as they are saying, it's a great loss for them too when they don't have enough money for free campaigns and advertisements, yet they have to promote themselves one way or the other, this is why they might not keep their words.

If you want to participate in bonuses from online casinos make sure its from the big daddies in the space, because they have the money and also the reputation to protect, they don't want any bad-mouthing, there is one thing you might not like, big casinos don't have high attractive bonuses, it's always smaller compare to new casinos.

704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin millionaire: Lucky or possesses more qualities that we don't have. on: October 03, 2023, 09:48:28 AM
Always have money to sustain yourself, it's not just holding your Bitcoin, tough times will come and it could steal your Bitcoin from you if you are not prepared, Billionaires understand how to survive the tough times without touching their investments, this is why they are different from small investors like us.

Since you are not a millionaire or a billionaire yet, it's not going to be a easy journey and the only tool you have right now is patience, a lot of patience, that is the only way you can grow, it's just that having a lot of money will make the journey more smoother as an investor than someone who is managing to catch up.

Also, all what these Millionaires and Billionaires think about is investing more and more, they found new companies and they invest in them, they find new stocks and they become a part of it, if there is a hope that the company will become a success, they go for it, this is the mindset of most rich men, they take part mostly in growing their money.
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 03, 2023, 08:36:21 AM
This is a common marketing strategy and I’m not suprised. Reason they may have done it so is because certain people are skeptical about winning and may feel there’s no need to give their KYC on a platform they just signed up on. And then when they win, then they can see the necessity of providing their KYC. For someone like me, I don’t like KYC so I would always ensure that whichever platform it is fully allows withdrawals without KYC (by reading the. T&C).
This kind of scummy thing is what other scam casinos do to justify that they can't withdraw your wins or your money because you didn't comply to their KYC, these sneaky operation is being tolerated too much that this kind of thing exist, hopefully we see some changes because a lot are getting away with all of this. That too, always read the T&C of a casino you're planning to put your money in because you might be in the wrong and you don't know it.
The only way a casino can get away with this is if you decide to walk away because you don't want to pass KYC and I believe that decision is a stupid one, though it depends on how much we are talking about, you won't walk away if its 100k available for withdrawal after KYC verification.

It's delusional to believe that you can gamble on any casino and win a good amount of money without them telling you to pass KYC verification first, I even fear casinos that won't ask you to get your KYC over with first, because they are not to be trusted to me than those that ask for KYC verification.

If you understand the rules of operating a casino you will understand why important KYC compliance is a must for a legal casino, since you now know about this it's better to verify your KYC first before using any online casino, it's easier this way.
706  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I got from my Friend about Bitcoin on: October 03, 2023, 07:47:49 AM
Nice, happy to have you on here newbie, I am not so sure you already know much about crypto but I can tell it's a better choice for choosing Bitcoin, my advice is let Bitcoin be your biggest holding, since you are talking about other altcoins as well, because altcoins are not as reliable as Bitcoin.

Do your own research on other coins apart from Bitcoin, majority of other coins are scam, and also I do hope you know which crypto wallet to use for storing your assets, some are bad choices, stay away from any closed source and custodial wallets, they won't give you access to your private keys or recovery phrases, even if they do they also have access to your fund and they can steal from you.

If you have the money you can buy a Trezor hardware wallet, if not, you should download an Electrum wallet from their official website, and make sure you keep your recovery seed to yourself only.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 03, 2023, 06:22:20 AM
I made a mistake of getting paid for signature campaign in gambling platform accounts.
When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal. But I quickly lost control of my emotions and ended up blowing the entire balance of my account. This happened more than once, it happened about 5 times as I received money from different sources.
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .
That's a bad practice mate, some people are able to control themselves from gambling because they closed all the temptations that could make them do stupid things, emotions are very hard to control, you must not give it a chance, this is one way to stay ahead.

Using credit cards for gambling will drive your emotions, you could think of gambling on debt maybe you will win and before you know what you've gotten yourself into, it's already too late.

It's a bad practice to also deposit money that's not meant for gambling into your online casino profile, you will be easily moved by your emotion to try your luck,  in this case your money is better in your crypto wallet.

Give no room for gambling to take over your mind, say no to credit card, say no to big deposits into online casinos, some campaigns pay participants directly into their platform account, this is a different case and even if this is it, I would immediately move my balance out of the casino, before my mind think about something stupid.
708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always ask questions, it doesn't make you a fool. on: October 02, 2023, 10:17:27 AM
Exactly, I would rather be called a fool to gain knowledge than to remain a fool forever, it's easy as ABC, I have been on Bitcointalk from for some time now and when I was new I usually get some annoying responses, sometimes I find them to be hurtful and some are hilarious, making jokes out of me, but my father always said that pretending to be a fool to gain knowledge is a great wisdom, one shouldn't be ashamed in this case.

When I was new I don't even bother to use the search engine on the forum to find answers to my problem, and most members on this forum have reacted in a unpleasant ways for asking questions that have been discussed over again, and some members still answer my questions even even when they knew its not a new topic.

We are not all created the same, some will react in a very good way and some will get on your nerves and probably even insult you, do not mind, you are here to acquire some knowledge so, keep doing your best and avoid breaking the forums rules, you will be alright.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Before you take sides on: October 02, 2023, 09:37:30 AM
We all know how people used to be protective when trying to explain how someone treated them badly, they always want to be the winner and if you are not smart you can fight the wrong war for them, later you will find out that they are the problem.

Gamblers are telling stories about how they got banned because they are winning too much, I will like to tell you not to believe everything people tell you, these stories typically have another side of the story, there is a high probability that these gamblers have broken some rules along the way.

For reputable casinos, banning players that have won a lot of money legally is bad for their business, the casinos knows that the word of the mouth spreads faster than anything, so I believe that a reputable casino do their strong research before they use their ban hammer.

Before you take sides with gamblers claiming they get banned for winning too much, remember that casinos are good at monitoring and preventing fraudulent behaviors, you break some rules you are out, and no cheater want to admit that they cheat.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 02, 2023, 08:51:31 AM
I've earned about online casinos that place ban on a person if they keep winning, but I've not seen or heard about people winning endlessly from bonuses and tournaments, this is crazy, I do like seeing casinos losing a lot of money to lucky gamblers and that shit really pisses them off.

It's pure truth that casinos don't like losing a lot of money to people that win over and over, they will end up placing a ban on you, and some will say that you are a suspect, for using a professional advantage strategy or some kind of phantom computer.

There is a man who won a lot of money from casinos and the story is well known over here, it get to a point where they believe this man have a betting patterns that just works, and they ban him from every casinos, the funny part is he is like a unwanted guest in every casinos, they have his name and picture, when he turned up they won't let him.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ID requirements for Gamblers in Australia on: October 02, 2023, 07:02:16 AM
How about those who are living in Australia who will signup on a casino as U.S citizens? The government doesn't understand how desperate gamblers can be, they are able to monitor gamblers in that country because they are using credit card, now that crypto is popular, they can easily abandoned every casinos that only accept Fiat through Credit Card payment.

After reading through the website, this do got me

By asking for ID before allowing consumers to play, companies will effectively prevent efforts to circumvent their social responsibility protocols. As a result, operators will be able to identify underage individuals or self-excluded players, stopping them from placing bets.

Like it seems that they want to stop their people from all gambling activities, what do they mean by self-excluded players? Anyways I doubt it's ever going to work, there some badass proxies and premium VPNs that people can use to create accounts on online casinos right from the heart of Australia.
712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plz help trust wallet haked on: October 01, 2023, 10:11:01 AM
I got a lot of scammers on Twitter tagging my name to a fake airdrops, I know they are all fake and that's because I have been a victim two years ago, it's easier for newbies to bmfall into these scammers traps because they lack some knowledge, I believe you have learned from your mistake now, if somehow you have passion for airdrops make sure you create a different wallet for airdrops only, do not use your main wallet to hunt airdrops.

I don't even use my main wallet to connect to Defi platforms for buying coins and tokens, I use a separate wallet for this, after buying through pancakeswap, uniswap, and others i always move the coins and tokens into my main wallet, so my main wallet has never been connected to any website or platform before, and I've also never use it to claim any free coins and tokens before.

Connecting a crypto wallet here and there gives permissions to whoever is at the end of the other side, if they are evil people they will be able to steal your assets from you, unfortunately, keeping private keys safe isn't the only thing to watch out for when investing in crypto.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: October 01, 2023, 08:27:28 AM
Since 2016 that I have been learning about crypto, Bitcoin has never hurt me for once, I have a few bad stories but all the faults are mine not Bitcoins, I messed up choosing the bad crypto wallet and I also messed up making the wrong choices like selling too soon and few others but so far Bitcoin have given me positive results than anything in crypto.

I do gamble too but the results I am getting from gambling isn't as good as my Bitcoin portfolio, gambling isn't something I do everyday, I only use some spare money to gamble and that's when I can afford it, most times I've lost money in gambling and only very few times I've win something good from gambling.

It's better to be in both if you can protect yourself from turning into a gambling addict, because the biggest problem with gambling is people having this thought of making big money from gambling and start living their dream, gambling isn't scheduled to work in such a manner, you will lose more than you will win.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: October 01, 2023, 07:12:00 AM
First of all, the government doesn't care if you lose your home and properties to gambling, and becoming a responsible gambler is your responsibility, no one cares if you turn into addicted gambler and you start sleeping on the street, and you named the government? They are the last people who want everyone to stop gambling.

Do you know how much the so called government are making from casinos? You need to do your own research, casinos are one of the country builders themselves, they contribute a lot to have a location and their business running in a country, it's left for every individual to think straight and be smart with gambling.

Gambling is not going to affect the countries economy, those people who own casinos are paying some good amount of money into the government's pocket, even if people start committing suicide due to gambling, the government will never eradicate casinos from the country, they know that casinos is playing a big role too. Do your own research.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 01, 2023, 06:18:02 AM
I believe that rich people fit in better with this category than people who aren't rich because there's nothing that's far from luck with gambling, each and every facet and corner is 100% about luck, so there's nothing that's far from luck with gambling. Since gambling platforms favour the rich even more, yep, VIP accounts, I believe the rich will be willing to spend some money without hurting themselves.

In addition to people talking about how a strategy worked for them because it was your lucky day, I believe that a small amount of money to gamble is the only strategy that can keep people save from turning into something else as a result of gambling. I'm sick and tired of people talking about how a strategy worked for them.

The only way that gambling can be enjoyable is by using very small amounts of money, there will be no panicking, it's all about you and the fun you are having, either you lose or not, how can you possibly lose?
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: September 30, 2023, 04:06:47 PM
If you are bored and you have no place to go because you want to remain at home, you may decide to spend some cents on gambling just like you are spending some cents on beers.

You can decide to go to land based casino to have some fun.

The advice has been repeated countless number of time, that gamblers should have gambling budget and they should not spend beyond the budget. My gambling budget is 5% weekly if I gamble and lose in that week.
There are many things one can do when they are alone at home to kill their time, they don't have to pay to have fun, they can watch movies, play free games, or invite a friend and have some fun, it's only addicted gamblers that feel like always been alone is the right call for gambling, it's a slow attraction into gambling and that leads to addiction.

I have said this multiple times before and I will keep repeating it, gambling will mostly not work in your favour, that's on the house, casinos are most favoured by their business, because it's gamblers that lose more and it's the house that wins more.

Lack of discipline and lack of accepting the truth about gambling is why many people will still become useless because of gambling, they can't accept the truth, gambling definition is everywhere online, and in that definition, it has everything that's there to understand about gambling, it's all about luck, and humans don't get lucky everyday.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 30, 2023, 12:51:12 PM
The first topic I just created few minutes ago is similar to what you are saying OP, the harder things get the more people will keep falling into the wrong things, lack of jobs in my country has affected too many people and guys are now into this mindset of using all means necessary, they don't care about the consequences anymore.

Gambling was never created to enrich people , it's created for entertainment purposes and making money on pure luck, but people always think they are different, until they have a taste of it's bitterness.

When crimes are committed, if investigated properly gambling will be related, there are many arrests been carried out, and most of them are related to having debts to settle, from burglary, forgery and fraud cases, they do this to pay back their debts, gambling debts for that matter.

Gambling was never meant to be harmful if done properly, I do believe that anyone can develop gambling disorder if they are too focused on making money from gambling, it will be very hard to treat a problematic gambling behaviour, and that's why people need to seek for help once they start losing themselves.
718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoiding Faucets and Airdrop Scams on: September 30, 2023, 11:12:32 AM
I expect this to keep happening because each and every day, crypto keeps getting popular and we will keep seeing newbies in crypto space, those mistakes that people like us have made in the past we still be repeated by newbies and there is nothing to make it stop.

This is why some beginners believe that crypto is scam, as there are too many unsafe steps anyone can easily take in the crypto space.

Airdrops and Fauctes are not even making money anymore I don't know why people are going this route in 2023, it's over for Airdrops and giveaways, you will possibly end up getting scammed if you follow this route.

Zealy is the only legit airdrop website that still pays right now but the payment isn't even worth your time, the last airdrop I joined was SuiSwap off this website, and after all the daily points gathering they gave everyone 1000 tokens and the value is 0.0002$, how is this profitable? The only thing still left that's worth your time is testnet activities and also not all will pay their testers.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: September 30, 2023, 10:32:48 AM
When the situation of the country is too hard to comprehend, youths who are supposed to be the future leaders will start turning into criminals in front of us.

This is the third case that have happened to someone very close to me ( not family ), and they all have one thing in common, SPOUSE ABUSE and CRIME.

I knew this gentle soul growing up in my street, who just turned 24 years old and now he was into gambling without anyone knowing at home for the past 1 year, the only point that I hold unto from his mother is how he maltreated his junior brothers and sisters and he also have anger issues.

I have come to understand that having a negative impact on people close to you or your family could be a sign of compulsive gambling, to the extent that this boy start maltreating his junior ones, I mean inflicting pains on them.

The other two cases that I knew about gambling addict ( one in the family ) also have something similar to this behaviour, anger issues, criminal activities like burglary and disrespect of parents, I think countries with high rate of struggles and hardship will always have this type of problems.

Is there any effective way to make sure youths stays where the are told to stay instead of looking for quick money? Gambling isn't the solution to poverty it will possibly drown you deep into more poverty.
720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another post cautioning you of influencers on: September 28, 2023, 10:38:15 AM
Don't blame that influencer, most of they are paid to talk about any project or casinos, it's all about the money for them, only few of them cares more about their reputation than money and this man might not even be aware of the atrocities that 1xbet and 1xbit have caused in crypto and gambling space combined.

I am used to listening to influencers about crypto projects, I use them to get information as it makes things less stressful for me instead of doing the deep research myself, I have made some good and bad decisions following influencers and I have removed a few from my lists of trusted crypto influencers.

The thing is, you don't have to make decisions based on what an influencer said in their video, do not forget that they are also trying to make money, I remember Luna before the collapse, many YouTubers shilled the hell out of this project and after it crashed, some don't even bother to say sorry and some never talked about it again.
