can anybody help me?
I've installed the wallet and I press "engage miner" but it appears as if nothing happens, how can I check if I am mining? Sorry for being such a terrible noob, I normally don't mine but thought this could be my first.

You can either:

Press win + R
notepad %APPDATA%\axiom\debug.log

Hashrate info is there. Also you can right click your taskbar, choose task manager, see cores used.

If you want to use more you can go to Help > Debug > Console type:

setgenerate true #

# = # of cores.

Thank you, I got it running. According to the debug file im mining with 42 hashes. Final question, where can I see if I have succesfully mined some coins? i.e. get them in my wallet?
Thanks for your time

Im out of this shit.

The dev said on Sunday the first things will be done, on sunday he write he need a few more hours.

But for what? For a website? Every scamcoin has a website, and you need days and weeks for it?

Now 3 days are gone, the dev is missing and disappear.

Where is your "team"? you said "Whe have a TEAM of 3 guys"?

Nothing make sense here.

You will cry yourself to sleep within 7 days, I guarantee it. Bunch of schoolboys who need to have their hands held. You are far too emotional. Don't invest money you cant afford to lose. High risk high reward or total loss, that's the name of the game. If you can't handle the heat go back to shooting dice for nickels and dimes.

I was wrong and I apologize. I deleted my posts. I got scammed bad sometime ago and now I am like hypersensitive to anything that looks and feels not legitimate, even when the basis is just my perception.
713  Other / Archival / Re: NEW COIN- Local Family Owned on: July 08, 2015, 06:44:21 PM
Must be all those that love the coin that are selling for pennies, or micro pennies. Most of these people, i have seen them scream bloody murder, all while mining, then dumping. its part of the dna here at btctalk imho.

We will be here when the dust settles, and our reputation speaks for itself.

I truly do understand those that wave scam flags, i mean they prolly all are victims of other scams, so i have empathy, or is it sympathy?
Either way, i dont have time to engage here anymore, nor the effort. Too much to do to make this coin work in real world applications

Lol seems legit. Come back when you have a working product without a premine ok?

The owner of the project "drachmae.money" or "drachmaeconnect" (http://www.drachmaeconnect.com ) is a known scammer.

He was an employee in a company named TXTcoinsNow, said he is the CEO, issued an asset and sold shares. Got much money, traveled to every conference in Europe. His boss see this bullshit and fires him. Shareholders are left with nothing.

why the dumps??

Because the devs abandoned this shit. They took thousands of dollars in ICO money and ran away.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Checkcoin] Explore the world using Checkcoin [PR PHASE] on: June 11, 2015, 05:16:02 PM
It looks like someone accumulating in cryptsy, this might be just another "dev leaves for months, accumulates low, returns and announces new development, pumps and dumps all the cheap coins" scam, be aware.

Here it comes
Nice possibility to dump and I did.

Funny thing, the devs of this shitcoin started to log in on these forums again. They can't be bothered to post though.

i wonder why this coin still traded on exchange
with a lot of transactions

That's easy really. It's Bitsend keeping the volume above .20 BTC to prevent delisting. They're accumulating coins for the "soz guys we took so long, but we're promising this and that" message to bump the price and then dump their stash on noobs. It's part of their exit strategy. They're probably down $20k at the moment so they need to get that back. Just watch, in some time out of the blue a message comes that they found a dev or made some business agreement and magically the price will rise. Then at x5 they dump all their shit.

Yes as an investor its possible to ride this wave as well, but I'd stay the hell away from this.

By the way, even IF they return. What good does it do? GEO took their place and is still in early days. There is no reason for ckc to exist. I will be here reminding noobs to never invest in this shit, Bitsend fucked us and there is no way they should be allowed to continue this scam.

Edit: By the way Bitsend I screenshotted all my entries in this thread. If you delete them that will make you look even worse. I'll open another thread and just post them again, so don't bother.

Yes maybe, but will us sheep follow a company that already raped us? Or will we all just dump our bags for a few more peanuts.

I dumped my bags a long time ago, got out at 1100sat, right before Bitsend made their infamous "sorry bros, we haven't got jack shit" message. Call it luck or a hunch but I'm glad I got out of this train wreck. Others were not so lucky and are still bagholding lots of these worthless coins. So at the very moment for whatever reason the price should rise there will be an instadump of millions of ckc. Also don't forget the unrelenting rape by miners should this coin become profitable to mine again.

The amount of smoke and mirrors, unwarranted dev hype and fuckups on this coin can be compared to paycoin. I realise I am fudding this coin hard and being a dick about everything checkcoin related. But in my opinion the stunts Bitsend pulled to lure in investors are unsavory and should be highlighted until Bitsend comes forward and apologizes and offers a satisfactory solution for the people they fucked over.

Pardon my French.
