701  Economy / Gambling / Re: Reel Crypto - The Best Online Crypto Casino on: November 24, 2023, 10:45:44 PM
Welcome into this forum  Reel Crypto!

Just like been said or advised above that it would be nice or better if you do purchase up some copper membership on at least having some fancy ANN thread.
Checked out the site and it isnt really that looking bad and really that nice rather. Games offered are those common in todays standard though.

I did check about your No deposit bonus terms.
Please note that to be able to withdraw winnings from a "No Deposit Bonus"* you will first need to fill in your personal information under "Profile and settings">>"Account info" and provide KYC documents (identity document and proof of address).

https://www.reelcrypto.com/en/bonus-terms

I do not think they already have that kyc option to be verified through the customer profile dashboard, as I inquired about it and was told that kyc for the moment should be forwarded to "support@reelcrypto.com" for verification, and the dashboard option to upload kyc documents is not available, as said by the customer service.

This aspect of the customer care response got me a bit confused and made me think about the credibility of their casino. They encourage customers to play without registration and would demand verification for active status. I really do not get this. Can their representative please come up to give or make further explanations on this?
Basing up on the response on which their support been saying is that you can play into the site even without having that "registration" not literally that sign up thing but for sure he do talks about
sending out those documents or simply being fully verified. I do agree that if you would really be trying out to understand on what the support say then it would really boggle up your
mind on what kind of registration that pertaining into unless if you have clarified it out but basing up on the sentence then it would be registratioin = KYC.

I agree on how their support do really respond on which its not really that something clear and english isnt really  that well composed ?
Or it is really just that me?

Possibly, it might be some language response error I assume because after I had finished chatting with the customer care service, I was not really okay with the response not until this last update given which made me sceptical about the casino.  I had a second thought about it and I became more curious about the casino based on my enteraction with the casino customer care and here we are their representative have not been online for some days now to reply to questions and inquiries about their casino which makes it more difficult to deal with.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024 PROGRESS REPORT on: November 24, 2023, 09:51:58 PM
I will start by congratulating you on the success you have achieved in putting this material together. I know what it takes to work on things of this nature when it comes to academics or something that involves research, the compilation of different materials, and writing to achieve the goal of publishing a book. I must say that you have gone a long way in putting things together for the sake of the bitcoin community, especially the newbies to having a material of this nature. As you have said, this would be a very good legacy you have left here, and the community would forever be happy about what you have done. This book would serve as enlightenment material which would educate bitcoin enthusiasts more about bitcoin and its inception, the founders, and how they began the bitcoin journey into the world. It is remarkable that a book of this nature has finally emerged.
Congratulations once more.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The love in football on: November 24, 2023, 08:25:36 PM
Football, in general, is a popular game that stands as a symbol of unity. It was created for fun and to relieve stress, with moments  worth noting. People do love football for its entertaining nature and the vibes it gives. I believe you can attest to the fact that whenever it is time for football season, their is always unity amongst groups, individuals, etc., irrespective of ethnicity, tribe, religion, and lots more. People tend to unite while watching football matches in support of a particular team as a result of their fan base and the players involved. Although not everybody likes football and it is only those who have that love for it can say it much better.
704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have anyone heard about a platform called Adswage? on: November 24, 2023, 07:05:22 PM
"Prevention is better than cure," as the adage says. OP, that name sounds strange here, as I have not come across it before. I had to do a search here to verify for myself, but nothing of the nature here. Just like other members have said here, I will also join them in giving you such advice as well. Run away from that site for your own life; otherwise, you stand a chance of being scammed by scammers. You should count yourself lucky to have knowledge about this platform to make inquiries about them. This was a smart move by you to safeguard yourself from stress.

I will request that you make that website known here so we can see for ourselves and take every necessary step and caution to stay clear of it.
705  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Winz.io confiscated winnings after a sudden change in terms and conditions on: November 24, 2023, 06:37:16 PM
Hello again.
I wanted to inform you that, as announced by winz.io on CG, all amounts due have been refunded.

I would like to thank the forum members for expressing their opinion in this post, because the casino representative was certainly also following this thread and both the topic on CG and here on bitcointalk made the casino reflect.
I think that without you we would not have been able to resolve this matter positively.

Thanks again  Wink
Regards!

Congratulations on getting back your refund! A problem shared is a problem solved. You took a bold step by bringing your complaint here for fast attention, for which you were given a good and excellent treat. This platform has been able to resolve many cases between casinos and their members, with both parties present here as registered members too, and the casinos here know the relevance of this platform in the online casino industry and, as such, would want to maintain their relationship with the platform and the registered members here.

As we all know, there are other aspects of this platform that you would find interesting if you made the time to go through them for yourself. Nevertheless, as your case has been resolved successfully, it would be nice if you locked this thread to avoid spamming.

707  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: King Ping @SportsKingPing scammer BEWARE proof inside on: November 24, 2023, 02:09:06 PM
I think you just fell for a scammer here as I finished reading through to see for myself. He probably had played you to test but his assumption on the game prediction did not work. If you had known you should have demanded for an escrow services at first to be very sure that the funds as claimed by the scammer are readily available. Only that would guarantee the genuity of the deal. I must say this is a lesson learnt the hard way.

Proper verification was not done so as to ascertain the genuity of the scammer at first. If OP had taken his or her time to verify the account holder to knowing how genuine what he is saying is, I believe OP would have noted some lapses and taken proactive measures to protecting him or herself.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Yas.bet refusing withdrawal after verification on: November 24, 2023, 01:46:19 PM
Yes, and we will share the information and reasons here for other users to know whats going on so please wait for results Thank you.
It's now over a month again and this guy has never come back here to update on the situation. If they were so confident that OP is a scammer, it should have taken about 24 hours to bring up an update. Something seems fishy here. I don't like to mess up people's accounts with negatives, but It looks like I may have to update my feedback from neutral to negative.

I expect they just letting this blow over, but I'm going to keep the thread updated.

It is obvious that the representative have not been online for over a month now which shows how neglecting they are and notwithstanding, this is a clear evidence that they are guilty of the accusations against them for not coming forth to defend themselves. I would not be surprised that this is the end of their response to this case a raised by OP.

It would be in your own interest to keep pushing for your justice by constantly updating this thread with necessary information that would require reputable members who are are interested in helping you to resolve your problem with them. I believe you will get a positive results as time goes on.
709  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account Frozen Due to Suspicion of Money Laundering on: November 24, 2023, 01:17:00 PM
My account with  Bitmart amounting USDT 74k was frozen due to suspicion of money laundering.
I was trying to withdraw $4k and the withdrawal was rejected. Then I received
an email from customer support that my account was suspected for money
laundering.

I was given 72 hrs. to deposit a 100% equivalent of my assets ($74K) to verify my account
which is obviously a scam. Instead of asking me to provide proof of source of income, they
want me to add more money.

Going by this report, it is likely that you have been scammed, but we cannot conclude yet until we verify and know if truly your accusation holds water, as there are lots of scams out there claiming to be the real one. Such a demand from the exchange looks more scammy than we could imagine. In situations like this, what should have been demanded by the casino is likely proof or evidence of the source of income, not requesting for the OP to top up his account with 100% of what he has in his account. What if OP has any issues and is banking on the amount of money for rescues?  The exchange would be expecting OP to refill again, which is not making any sense.

Amy exchange that could make such demand should not be taken seriously as they are scammers who want to ripp investors of their assets and do away with it.

710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Winz.io confiscated winnings after a sudden change in terms and conditions on: November 24, 2023, 12:22:43 PM
Winzo casino so far to the best of my knowledge have been a good casino and there have not been any complaint about them in the past so I am curious as to why this happened. If it is the reason that they got OP country restricted from their casino based on regional laws, then i must say that is the right step they have done by restricting the country so as to safeguard their casino from legal actions and announcing and making a refund to members from those affected countries with their casino was a good move to have been done by them.

As I checked the previous posts I saw some comments with captured clause from the terms and conditions of the casino as to change of policy. That section is quite alright if they had done accordingly to what they have said  by sending email across to all their members for immediate actions as it bother their membership of the casino. Maybe OP had no knowledge about their email or possibly he did not check his or her junk box for confirmation. It is nice both parties resolved amicably to settling their scores and differences.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Seed Phrase. on: November 23, 2023, 09:00:30 PM
Ever since I lost my previous seed phrase and wallet, I learned my lesson the hard way. I began to keep a constant check on my seed phrase so as to be sure they are where they are so that if anything happens again, I can be able to recover it easily. Actually, what happened that made me lose my wallet was a result of my phone crashing one night while online trying to download an app. All of a sudden, my phone went off, and I had not backed up my seed phrase anywhere in the meantime.I had some bitcoin in that wallet, and that was how I lost my bitcoin and wallet that night. Ever since then, what I do first after downloading and installing a new wallet app is to write my phrase or keys so as not to encounter what I had gone through again.

I think this aspect of your topic is not really taken seriously by some account holders. People do not bother checking on their seeds because they are too confident that their keys are where they have kept them for safety purposes. Possibly, if they had shifted from their initial place where they are kept, you would have no idea since you are not constantly checking on them, but if you do check on them, you would be able to detect whenever there are changes in the location of your phrase from the initial place where they are kept. So therefore, it is advisable, in your own best interest, to always backup your keys and save them where only you have access at any given point in time.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is\will Bitcoin become unaffordable to use? on: November 23, 2023, 08:16:07 PM
I saw recently that a transaction was done where the transaction fees were 83.65 BTC to move 139.42btc.

With transaction fees like this, and traffic inevitably going up over the years, will Bitcoin become unaffordable to use?

I would say that such a transaction might have taken place out of error. On a normal basis, the value of such a fee of $3 million is enough to do other meaningful things in the current state of the world economy. Maybe, just like other members have said, this could be a syndicate trying to launder money, and these are what paint bitcoin a bad image in the eyes of the government.

Nevertheless, OP, there is another thread that has this topic already in existence before yours. So I would suggest you lock this thread.

713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something you don't have to forget on: November 23, 2023, 07:53:26 PM
At first, every new innovation takes time to get accepted into society. Although there are some people who are good at first adopting a new technology and becoming early adopters of that technology while watching to see how things unfold about that technology, that was the case with bitcoin. Some were skeptical about it; some watched it from afar. While some just tried it to see how it went, although people never believed that it would be this important and sold off at the early beginning, while some lost their phrase just as the previous reply stated, and some holders are already late without passing their keys to their loved ones, these lost bitcoins would actually make the available bitcoin more scarce and valuable. And in time to come, the price would be higher than it is now, and the adoption rate would be very high enough to trigger a global and massive integration of bitcoin into the government system all over the world.
714  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchange Binance punishes Russians for the war in Ukraine on: November 23, 2023, 07:22:35 PM
Banning or no banning, we all know that crypto is all about decentralization and anonymity. Even if Binance gets Russia banned from their platform, it does not affect them because there are other platforms that are ready, willing, and open to welcoming Russia to their platform. This is all about their profit and traffic, so they want to make many gigs for themselves, and mind you, Binance already has gigs and a name for their brand, which is well done without Russians patronizing their platform.

Aside from that, the decentralized platforms are very open and free, and that represents the real purpose of crypto and blockchain, which is for anonymity. I believe Russians would improvise to do their crypto deals without any issues to face, rather than bothering themselves with a Binance ban on them.  So therefore, i think the ban on Russians from Binance platform holds no water.

715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone just paid 83BTC for transaction fee, on: November 23, 2023, 02:00:38 PM
I will assume that the transaction occurred as a mistake; otherwise, I was wondering what the nature of the transaction could be that would make one pay such a volume of BTC as a transaction fee. People are that wealthy, though, but looking at the monetary equivalent of the volume of BTC paid for the transaction, it is too real to be realistic. Such a mistake is very grave to make. Although people would make such mistakes, not in that tone.
716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to avoid as a beginner on: November 23, 2023, 01:39:00 PM
For the time I have been on this platform I have not really received any message from Amy newbie account or even established member asking me for merit or anything of such nature. From what you have said OP I believe you must have had such messages and I hope you don't mind quoting it here for us to see if possible.

Climbing up the ladder is not that easy here but with commitment and focus it would not be too cumbersome to achieve. The issue of burst posting I think should be left for managers to decide otherwise there are quality posts out there which might emanate from such and  if we are to go by that measures, those post are good enough to earn merit which they eventually does.
I think the major thing we need to avoid as a member of this forum is not just avoid merit trading and burst posting, we also need to avoid plagiarism which is the major reasons why many accounts are been ban from the forum. If we get an article from a particular source, it is good for us to drop the link so that it is going to be obvious that the article is not actually written by us and it not our own work. Many people especially the newbies make this mistakes and finally see their account getting ban. Plagiarism are always been report by people that know how to catch those that like calming other people's work.
Plagiarism creates the biggest offense in the forum because its clearly a sign of dishonesty, owning the woks of others and claim it to be their own. Obviously, those who are caught doing this should go straight to banning permanently so they won't be able to deceive in the future. However, burst posting is not actually done by beginners since they are still not allowed participating in any signature campaign, but with merit trading, well there are actually number of members who are apparently resorting doing that which for me is very inappropriate and should be given proper sanction once proven in the forum.

Burst posting is likely a general issue, aside from the old members who are very familiar with the rules and policies of the platform. It is not encouraged but sometimes, some posts that comes in that nature seems to be in tandem with the subject matter which needs urgent attention in most cases. Also those posts can be as educative as we could imagine but the manner at which it was posted is more of a burst post.

Plagiarism is more of an intellectual theft, which is against the laws of intellectual property ownership, and this platform is strongly against it. Plagiarism is a crime in the eyes of the law and is punishable, and anyone found wanting would go in for it. This platform is more of an educational platform; in that course, banning accounts was deemed fit for punishment.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: November 22, 2023, 11:11:31 PM
There are bad debts and there are good debts. Bad debts- loaning money to buy a car that won't be used for business ( Uber, Bolt). Loaning money to buy a pair of shoes, clothes, a piece of furniture etc.

Good debts - loaning money to purchase something that would appreciate in value over time. Real estate, precious metals, commodities etc.

They say poor people have bad debts and rich  people have good debts.

One of the popular pieces of advice you'd hear in the Bitcoin space is to never borrow to invest in it.

Despite the volatility, our hope is that Bitcoin will appreciate in value.

Would you classify borrowing money to invest in Bitcoin as good debt or bad debt?

OP,  as far as I know, a debt is a debt, and it would still be whether it is a good debt or a bad debt. As you have said, a loan that does not generate income to me seems like a waste of resources because it is expected that debts are to be serviced, and this means that such a loan must have been able to generate many returns so as to service it properly. You talked about bitcoin and why you should not get a loan to invest in it. I believe you should have had knowledge of the volatility of bitcoin and as such, one is not advised to get a loan for bitcoin investment and also should know that investing in bitcoin with loan is highly risky and not advisable to do because the bitcoin market has no control and can swing to any direction at any time.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: The Thailand government will distribute money to its citizens. Economists critic on: November 22, 2023, 10:50:03 PM

The policy of mass cash transfers was one of the campaign slogans of the centrist Pheu Thai Party (For Thais), which came to power in the Asian country in the summer. The aim is to stimulate the economy by giving the equivalent of over a thousand Dollars to 50 million people, encouraging them to spend more and thus helping local producers, shops, and small businesses. Under the influence of opposition criticism, Prime Minister Srettha slightly reduced the initially planned scale of the program, which was originally intended to cover 56 million people. Income limits and savings limits were introduced. Ultimately, anyone who is at least 16 years old, earns less than 70,000 baht per month, and has less than 500,000 baht in their bank account will be eligible for the transfer.

The money is intended to reach the broad masses of the population exclusively in electronic form, through an e-wallet available via the government application used by millions of Thai citizens. Citizens will not be able to convert the virtual wallet contents into cash, and the funds will need to be spent within six months of receiving them.

The authorities also want to control how the money is spent. Recipients of the government program will not be allowed to use the received funds for debt repayment, bill payment, tuition fees, gas and petrol purchases, gold or gemstones, internet products and services, alcohol, cigarettes, or marijuana.

-------------------------------------------

Question : is this a planned experiment regarding money supply manipulation and full control over society? Is this an attempt before implementing "temporary" currency internationally? A test on the population? What are your thoughts on this?

I feel this policy is one-sided because not all citizens benefit from these types of policies. The government manipulates the process just to control how people spend. This policy gives the government the upper hand in the control of the citizens, but the same government would steal from the process to enrich themselves.

The idea of controlling the citizens on how to spend their money is another factor that is not feasible, as not everybody would want that, and as such, nobody would want to be controlled up to the point of their personal life and privacy being breached by the government. This would be worse than one could imagine.

The manager hasn't announced an opening slot yet. Please have patience and wait until the manager opens a slot for the new participants.

If you don't know the campaign culture, then how do you expect the manager to accept you on the campaign?

For info your last post was made on August 08, 2018, 03:28:36 PM. You suddenly wakeup and applied here. Looks suspicious to me.

She has had no merit for over 120 days to qualify for a campaign, yet the rule was ignored, which makes her possibly ignored by the manager for not reading the rules before applying for the campaign.

After over four years of being inactive, the first thing she could do after waking up from sleep was to apply for a campaign. I was thinking there is a possibility of an account abnormality here.  This really looks suspicious to me as well.

You made a point here, mate. This aspect of plagiarism is what I initially thought the OP should have mentioned or included in his or her post so that newbies who come across this thread would see for themselves and know what is obtainable on the platform. The issue of plagiarism has cost many accounts here, and I must say that even after all this awareness, some would still fall victim to plagiarism. You cannot just copy an article from elsewhere and post it here for no reason without acknowledging the source of the writeup. It is termed intellectual theft, and it is punishable by law. This platform is also an educational platform, and there are scholars here too who might not like it if their work is captured without them being acknowledged. Plagiarism is punishable by law, so in that case, if accounts are banned here for the offense of plagiarism, I would not hold anything against the moderators but rather the poster who copied and failed to reference their copied work.
