701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found my Bitcoin books from 2016 on: September 28, 2023, 12:35:45 PM
If I can gamble on online casinos every now and then why can't I take little risks on altcoins? This is what my mind used to say to me, but after learning my lesson I now take risks with well built altcoins like Cardano and bnb, if Bitcoin creates a new low I believe Bnb can shake up some dollars and go lower, maybe 40$ per Bnb again, then that's when I will take risk on altcoins, but for now BTC is my main conclusion.

It's such a shame that to make life changing money from Bitcoin now requires a higher amount of money, this is why most of us still decide to buy altcoins to get a better boost on our ROI when the bull market arrives.

You can! Just like I do!

But then, you have to start accepting the fact that it is shitcoins, not some new revolutionary creation, and you have to admit that it is gambling.

We are total opposites it seems. I learnt that all my time spent researching and being part of great communities means nothing because my "investment" into altcoins are just gambling. You switched the other way Smiley

Just be careful of expectations. When you gamble you expect to lose so it's ok. But if you invest time and future hopes, shitcoins losing will harm your personal wellbeing.

Investing money on Binance coin is far better than visiting the casino or gambling online, you called bnb shitcoin and I don't say it isn't, but taking risks with these shitcoins is more safer than gambling I repeat, because you can analyse how or which project can bring you good return.

You can gamble on 20 altcoins like someone I knew did, with $2000 and he made over 100k in 2021, I don't need to prove anything to make this looks real, but all I am saying is it's a better chance that you will make money than gambling in casino.

I made most money from altcoins too, even than Bitcoin, but many people don't want to believe this, I can gamble with $2000 and get nothing on casinos, but it's near impossible to slit $2000 among some good alts aka shitcoins to you, just one project is enough to give you all your initial investment back, with better ROI too.

After Bitcoin investment and mining, trading follows, after that it's altcoins investment, and gambling online is the last online money making activity I get involved with, and so far, gambling as the lowest returns.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing Out Thousands of Bitcoin on: September 28, 2023, 10:40:34 AM
You don't want SWAT team breaking down your door on you while you have some good looking bae with you enjoying some movies together, don't withdraw all your money from Bitcoin into your bank account, the next thing that will come to mind is you are into fraud and you will be taken in for questioning.

Even whales don't do this, they only move money into their bank account when they need it, and they will not move millions that could raise some suspicion, I won't dare move more than $20,000 into my bank account, that's if I ever need that much money instantly, anything more than this will raise some suspicion over my account and I could be on watch.

If you have something you want to build that will cost a lot of money, intentionally slow it down, build it with time, and do not prove you have all the money in the world by doing it instantly, you are endangering your safety too, off the bank record, they have your home address and they know how much you have in the bank.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have a clear understanding of what DCA means on: September 28, 2023, 09:15:02 AM
The exact amount that is big to you might be small to me, it depends on the person that wants to DCA, plans are different, the salaries of everyone on here are also different, you can be able to afford using $500 for weekly DCA into Bitcoin and I might be able to afford $3000 every week to DCA every week, our results will never be the same.

Either it's weekly or monthly, price actions of Bitcoin will also not stays the same, but honestly, it's just an unnessecery discussion, DCA is DCA, evwnry one knows their capacity, and how long they want to DCA for, to me it will work eventually no matter what strategy you use to accumulate your Bitcoin.

The only difference will be amount, how much you are able to DCA into Bitcoin on the long run is what will determine what you will real when the bull market is here, some investors have no fixed price, this week it could be $200 and next week it could be $400, it doesn't matter, but your commitment will bring you the best results in the end.
704  Economy / Economics / Re: Is academic pursues enough to get incomes? on: September 27, 2023, 07:31:01 PM
Believe in what you want and shape your life around it, you can see a door through something that I see only through walls, you don't have to confuse me that there is a door through the walls, I will call you blind but do not listen.

If you believe that academic pursuits will do great for four life what's holding you back? My opinion doesn't matter, as there are still many people who pursue degrees and they end up creating a good career for themselves.

I know that many popular people around the world aren't in education and they still become top millionaires and billionaires today, but that's them, you can do the same thing and end up with nothing, they believe that degrees won't do shit and they follow business and investments, that doesn't mean you should too, this is a matter of choices and goals, whether it's going to work for you or not is unknown to anybody.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 27, 2023, 06:08:13 PM
You can start a business because you like the idea behind it or you love doing it and on the long run it still doesn't favour you. Like you will feel you wasted your time, I mean what is there to love when after a few years you aren't getting nowhere?

The thing about starting a business is you will never know how things will be, not until you try it, there are people who venture into business that they don't even like doing and they adapt and they have good results from the business.

Business is like looking for a new recipe that the world will love and accept, it's not that simple, you are at a risk of failing or succeeding, but you will never know, the reason why we do business is to make money, if you love what you do and you aren't making good money it makes no sense, you sit with the business because it's what you love to do, you might never grow.

Try and see, adapt, and always open your mind to new ideas, millions of people are planning to make money, and if you plan things the way they do, your result will not be great, be different.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Chase Bank New Policy On Crypto - Users Beware !!! on: September 27, 2023, 11:27:56 AM
I read a news this morning that an important figure ( US Law makers ) in the world is trying to force the SEC to start approving Bitcoin ETFs immediately, I don't know how true this news is and don't bother asking for a link to the news because I don't have it anymore, I do read this news from OP again this morning and I was like, what is going on?

One thing is sure though, I have been here longer enough to know how crypto bear market always feels like, I won't be manipulated by these news, either good or bad I am ready to stand my ground, they are doing this to kill the little courage left on some holders, if you fall for it that's on you.

The fear index is showing 39/100 this morning, it is not enough for them, maybe Bitcoin will dip down to 20,000 we don't know but it's better to avoid these news and focus on if the dips happen will I be able to DCA into Bitcoin again? You will do good if you prepare for any possible future events, it's way better than letting news affect you.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 27, 2023, 09:35:52 AM
I know people who have bought their first Bitcoin ever without knowing much about bitcoin, they are so into Bitcoin because their friends made a lot of money through Bitcoin, learning first is like wasting of time at the time, this was in 2021 bull market and they are able to make small gains.

I am not defending them on the rout they took but it's sure not a safe one, becauSe what if the market crashed on them? At that time they are already buying the tops. I believe knowledge should be the main focus for everyone, not only about Bitcoin investment but everything else.

Yes it's easier to download a wallet and start sending and receiving Bitcoin, but you will lack knowledge about the risks that are present while using your wallet and you engaging in some other activities online.

Some risks aren't about the wallet alone, what about the exchnages we send Bitcoin to for trading? There are many things to learn about Bitcoin and crypto first before doing anything else but these days people are too impatient.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 26, 2023, 05:20:10 PM
Bitcoin been a decentralised digital currency is why I will involve myself with Blockchain technology even if it's not legalized in my country, I don't care what the government says but they can't force me not to own anything I want, they can only block the access of acquiring Bitcoin the easy way like Banks and centralized exchanges, I will just switch to the decentralized platform and p2p platforms if I have to use Fiat to buy Bitcoin and there is no way they will know.

Years back, Bitcoin was banned in my country and it doesn't bother me, at first it does but I found the right peer to peer exchange and I keep doing my thing with Bitcoin, the only way I will respect ban on Bitcoin is if there will be stop and search of every citizens in the country law, passed down by the government themselves.

I believe that's never going to happen, so what will stop you from having Bitcoin even while it's banned in your country? The government hates what they can't conquer and Bitcoin is what gives me a head over the government control, I will choose Bitcoin over Banks every time.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 26, 2023, 01:31:37 PM
The man is at fault for using domestic violence instead of learning from where things went wrong, now he will probably be jailed for this, meaning he is suffering from two losses and charges due to his impatience, it is normal for your partner to walk out of your life if they see that a new big failure have strike their partner, meaning they start living a very hard life before things start going back the way they used to.

His Violence solution makes me think he gamble the money away, I could be wrong but gamblers result into violence when they lose a large amount of money, there is a possibility that the woman already warned him about using such an amount of money to take risks, I found women to be more cautious when it comes to taking risk to gain more money, and they are there to help men as their partner, even when it comes to financial decisions.

Now this man lost all his money, and now he hurt his woman for leaving him, he will still have to face the law again, now everyone knows that he is involved with crypto, imagine is crypto is banned in this country, it will be an extra charge for him, he made the wrong choice and I hope he learn.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: September 26, 2023, 12:28:29 PM
Liquidity is already bleeding out, money is out of crypto right now it seems and normally it's expected that after Bitcoin halving there will.be massive adoption, it's possible and it's expected but halving can't do this alone, there must be new money coming into the space after the halving, or else it will remain a FOMO and it will expire.

Miners will make less Bitcoin per block and that's not good for them but on the other side it's scarcity by nature, yes it makes sense, but recessions are still possible, not until money printers start working fully back again I don't think new money will come into crypto but we can always hope for the best.

I think it's best to prepare yourself past the next halving, things could still get slower after the halving, and many assets will go even lower, set your mind on what will happen after the halving as pumps won't instantly happen after the halving.
711  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Scrapped S19XP on: September 26, 2023, 11:44:44 AM
There is one thing many mining beginners don't understand, when it comes to warranty, you can't escaped a tampered hardware that's under warranty, if something bad happens to the hardware you are to return and believe me, they are the engineers, they coupled that thing up themselves, you use screwdriver, they will know, you do anything on the board? They will know it, so do not think you are smart, next time return it immediately.

When you hear no warranty applied, it's either the warranty expired or you have become the upper smart engineer yourself.

As for the picture, was this before or after you sent it back for checkup? Anyway, if you want to fix this I don't know the level of your skills with such hardware and if you don't have any please don't add more problems, send it to a qualified repairer that's not too far from your country.

There are valid repairers in China that I used to send dead GPUs and miners back to, I think you should just ask around, if you are qualified you will still need extra parts and that's going to cost you some money, whatever you might be looking for is available in China. Good luck.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: September 25, 2023, 05:35:55 PM
When COVID strikes the world I started thinking about my future even more, I used to be care free but later I started to feel worried about my family, some people died because they don't have the money to go for a doctor, many people lost their lives at that period of time, it was a disaster.

It get to the point where I started fo feel like it's the end of humanity, because if God was tired of use he would have used COVID to erase every human from the Earth, I finally concluded that this life is nothing, we came empty-handed, we will leave empty handed, I braved up and decide to work even harder and not think too much about the future.

I do trading and I mine Bitcoin too, so I am making a good amount of money, I don't want to expose myself to more businesses because I won't be able to handle it, instead, I plan to add more Bitcoin miners to my farm soon, though profit wise is down since we are still in a bear market.

If I have to wait till mining profit gets higher it will be too late to buy new asic miners as the price per miner won't be the same anymore.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Bought More BTC on: September 25, 2023, 03:46:50 PM
Michael Saylor bought around 5,445 more BTC.

The amount is not that much, but still, if it will be used for holding purposes then the demand will increase oversupply. Simple as that. How many of you found it a good news?
Micro Strategy won't buy Bitcoin forever, they will sell it to take profit or just to take part of their investment capital back when they need cash for their business.

More details of Micro Strategy investment history in Bitcoin.

They got more new capital from investors and they used part of those new capital to buy bitcoin. If their new capital flow is broken, they will stop or reduce their intensity of Bitcoin buying and they will sell in either of possible scenarios aforementioned, taking profit or needing cash.
That's stupidity at it's core, do you know that many companies have grown bigger because they are build with Bitcoin as their backbone? As Bitcoin grows they also grows, they will take profits but they will always have some Bitcoin, if not, this whales of today won't be whales in crypto space, many early Bitcoin buyers still holds Bitcoin till now, and that's why they are multi-millionaires.

Micro Strategy is too smart to dump all their Bitcoin and they aren't the first Bitcoin whales, there are so many Bitcoin whales that the world doesn't know, that's because they aren't running a company like Micro Strategy and we only know them by their Bitcoin addresses.

Forget about Saylor, there are many Bitcoin Jesus out there that wants every piece that they can get their hands on, it will be harder to buy Bitcoin at this prices in future, Saylor knows better than this, you forever dumps, your chances of buying back lower is slim, look at the past history of Bitcoin, I am sure these people are doing the same.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep safe the mnemonic phrase - Whats Your method? on: September 25, 2023, 01:05:05 PM
I am someone who likes being alone, I don't have visitors and I live with my spouse only, my room is private to me only, so I don't have a problem writing down my recovery seed into a ledger book and also carving on a stainless steel in locked away in my safe, I've been doing this for a few years now and I don't have any problem about losing funds.

Let's try not to forget that its not about keeping your recovery seed safe only, some people are very good with this but they still lose their assets to scammers, what we interact our wallets with exposes us to more danger than keeping our recovery seed safe.

Most funds are lost due to connecting crypto wallets to unofficial links and websites, some links give access to the hacker, exposing your recovery seed, while some are because of our own greed, we are sent tokens that we don't buy with money, yet we want to claim and sell them.

It's wrong to memorize your recovery words, anything can happen to you and you won't remember the words anymore, it's a lot safer to have a hardware wallet or keep your recovery phrase written in a safe location.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gives the poor an Opportunity. on: September 25, 2023, 11:09:11 AM
If it's this easy like you've said, everyone would have invested in Bitcoin right now, it's true that Real estate and stocks requires more money to make profit, but money is why many aren't into Bitcoin yet, apart from the haters that believe Bitcoin will fail one day, there are still many people that can't afford to invest even $10 into Bitcoin, the condition of your country can be easier than the condition of other countries, people are really lamenting in today's world.

I was a poor guy too, I came from a poor home, my parents are not completely poor but we are rated average, we eat twice daily while some families eat three times daily, I slowly get myself up with crypto and that through airdrop, mining and claiming faucets around the clock, today it's hard to make money free from crypto.

Now it's better to learn a skill and use that to progress online or offline, everyone conditions are different, poor people can't come near any investment idea, to them they only want to survive and eat some food every day, if you talk to them about investment they won't listen to you, it's the least of what they want right now.

Investing money is still very risky and to play such risks you need good capital, that's why many are advancing people to only invest what they can afford to lose, the poor don't have the money that they are ready to lose.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 23, 2023, 01:27:11 PM
Since you know about the dangers, I am happy for you, gambling can turn a good mind into a twisted f**k and that's why gaming is not for everyone, since your father is unfortunate enough to let gambling consume him, I am curious why the need to create this warning on the forum, you are here for bitcoin investment or maybe trading, we don't need to know about what happened with your dad, it's sad hearing this honestly, mind keeping such off here?

The sad truth about gambling is it was never created to enrich people yet it's easy for people to become addicted to gambling, if you are the type who have dreams of making millions through gambling you will become addicted, I am thinking that's what happened to your father, he wants the best for his family, but he used the wrong source, gambling is very bad if you can't handle yourself physically and mentally.

If you want to make money, do not think about making it from gambling, choose the harder parts because they are the best ways, gambling is like a short cut to success, but was programmed to ruin your bank account.

The only way to be a good gambler is gambling for the fun of it, use small amount of money that you are willing to lose and do not create any obsession with gambling.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: September 23, 2023, 11:42:28 AM
The government owes no one, they are not the ones to set your lives right, the funny thing is even if a president of a country decide to change the lives of his people, there will always be people who will fail to grow from the help the get from the government, because some problems lives inside people, not the government, if the government release a large amount if money for people to do something with, the government won't be the one to help you monitor your investment, many people don't know what to do when it comes to making decisions, they lack financial knowledge, is the government the one responsible for this too?

People are blaming the government for nothing, the only thing I will ever expect from the government is security and good roads, and maybe stable electricity in the country too, but when it comes to people turning their lives around, that's not on the government's neck, it's left for you to stand up for yourself and do something, learn a skill maybe and turn your own life around.

Also the truth about the government is they don't have poor people in mind, they want you to remain the same, so that they can be in control over you, do the harder jobs for them and get paid, if you look at the whole picture carefully, the government never had the best interest of the people in mind.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Earnings on: September 23, 2023, 10:08:26 AM
You are coming from casinos and gambling games? What have you learned so far from that? If you are getting good results I am pretty sure you won't be here today.

There are some important things you should know about Bitcoin, it's different from casinos and gambling, there is no fast way to make money with Bitcoin, everything about Bitcoin takes time and your courage to keep learning nonstop.

Now ask yourself, what do you want? Passive income? If yes Bitcoin is not for you, because the best advice I can give a newbie is to take things very slow, Bitcoin is good for long term holing, so if you have nothing else you are doing that's fetching you money, do not look at Bitcoin as the solution.

Bitcoin investment is long term, so get a job that pays you monthly if you don't have one first.

There is another way to get money with Bitcoin, maybe weekly, depending on when the signal comes, that's Bitcoin trading, and it's not easy to be a good trader, sometimes you will lose money and sometimes you will earn, but way better than gambling because trading is all about how good you are with market movement and analysis.

Do not rush, and believe me, there is no short cut, everything takes time and practice, and stay away from anyone who says there is a shortcut to making money with Bitcoin, it's either they are trying to scam you or use you one way or the other.

719  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 22, 2023, 05:37:58 PM
That's ridiculous, what are they buying that costs that much  Cheesy

For those of you saying that they don't know the calculation, I doubt that, because every wallet, I don't care which one they used, always show the dollar value.

Maybe someday, they will look back at that number of Sats they sold and realize that they wasted that tinny amount of Bitcoin because its value is way higher than before.

We all want to see people spend their Bitcoin on food items and other things, use it as a means of payment, well to the world now, Bitcoin is better kept as gold than use as money, it's only those that knows not much about Bitcoin spend their Bitcoin, majority of people will prefer to hold for long term and use something else for payment.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the selling pressure in Bitcoin a return signal? on: September 22, 2023, 04:07:41 PM
Be careful what you read online about Bitcoin, from popular people and analysts combine, the only place that this people has power is by using social media to spread rubbish and cause some panic into the heart of investors, whatever the selling pressure might be, which ever the whale that dumps Bitcoin might be this still means nothing, you need to understand that water happens with Bitcoin has happened before in the past, if you are into Bitcoin investment for the long term you don't need all these.

Be focus and avoid all these distractions, let your accumulation goal be the only thing you care about, I have panicked in the past and it was why I made some silly decisions, apart from Buying low and selling high, every other thing doesn't matter.

There are too many factors that affect Bitcoin price, if you are keeping tabs on them all you will end up stressing yourself out.
