I dont think bitcoin is under attack maybe the reasons why its because of heavy traffic or congestion. I also encountered this too long to be confirm in my wallet, blockchain problem that took 2days confirm in my wallet. I think its trhe volatility price of bitcoin that most encountered this problem.
The attack is the traffic, someone are doing a lot of microtx just for increase the traffic. I don't know who or why but it's real. For now, the best solution probably would be increase the blocksize.. |

Dead since 2 years ago? haha Litecoin will not die, there's a lot of mining power on LTC. Somehow for them it is profitable, so.. Spoiler: LTC will continue there, now let's check how it will perform with SegWit.

Most of your suggestions seems a bit exotic, but the last one is fine: to trade Forex with bitcoin. I am doing it and has proven to be a good way to increase my coins, perhaps it is even better than trading other altcoins.
Which broker do you use to do that? and what pairs? i'm interested on that, i used to do forex a couple years ago. |

Who cares if Monero and Dash are scams when you can make good money on every pump and dump..This is endless lovely game of whales were once completely outsider can make really nice money. And imagine what he thinks about them?! I love Monero and Dash , and i hope one day i will say same and for Cloak coin! yep, there is an spam transactions attack right now. I don't want to sound crazy but i think that someone declared war on Bitcoin. I don't know who or why but we as a community have to do something. SegWit it's taking a while and lighting or BU seems to be a lost cause.

I use Bitcoin to avoid the foreign currency control in my country, also to save my purchasing power against the inflation (>600% in 2016). So everyone uses Bitcoins as they just need to use it, otherwise people just "use" bitcoin to make profit.

Even with a trusted escrow, the developers (or big investors) will find the way of benefiting of the project. It's called pump&dump, they hype the project and when the value it's nice, dump!

For now the Bitcoin wil not be a country's main currency but, it can be the main currency for you as an individual. For me, Bitcoin it's the main currency (because my local currency it's garbage), i save my money on bitcoin and do my monthly budget based on BTC. I compare the BTC->LocalCurrency Tx to going to a ATM to have some cash.

So, what could be a short-term solutions? Me as a Bitcoin user i'm getting tired of the time. Right now i'm thinking about moving my BTC to an altcoin but i have a fear of a dump, Monero is the real option for me. What about you?
