I own and run a miner farm consisting of S5,S4 antminers and SP.
I have experienced serious problems with S5.5 of them are problematic.They have bad boards and controllers.I have contacted with Ms.Sherry who is customer representative of Bitmain.She is very friendly and caring.However, they want me to send broken parts (boards and controllers) with UPS, and they say THEY ARE GOING TO DECIDE WHETHER IT IS DUE TO IMPROPER USE OR NOT.
Is it ethical? The manufacturer will decide if it is due to improper use and if it is her fault she is going to replace it.This is really immoral.How can someone can judge and give decision for himself.This must change.Bitmain must select someone for each country or territory to decide.Bitmain must pay to these guys but they must be independent.
Have you had such an experience?What are your customer experience with them?

Your approach is very complex.The generals do not decide a date, they decide the target and to attack or not.
If you decide tower1 and attack.The generals majority have attacked to tower2.There are more soldiers attacking to tower (chain length is longer).Being the part of army you quit your position and attack to tower2 to take part of the victory.

I have exactly 100 pcs of S5.
2 of them has problems with boards.
1 of them is unaccessible.
2 of them is running, but not hashing.
Beside this I had 1 notworjing fan.
I also have 40 S4.
5 of them has burnt PSU.Many (more then 10) not working fans.
Action:Bitmain sent PSUs without any cost for S4s.For S5 , I have sent a board and we have been writing to Bitmain for control board and not working board.I will send you a feed back about my customer experience and their attitude as soon as we have conclusion.
I used to have (I do not for the moment) 20 pcs of SP20.I have run them for 6 months without any problem.

Every miner you buy from Bitmain is used.The miners they sell now have been used not less then 4 months.Is it a problem?I do not think so.
Would I buy?No.

I think it is not about firmware, but bad control board.

It does not hash a any frequency higher then 100.
|

I have bought a Enermax Platimax 1000W PSU.I have tried it with the S5 miner.No difference.It only hashes (between 3 and 50) at 100 frequency.
There is temperature value at only one board.All chips seems to work (ooooooo).
I have also checked the cables.
Should I try to upgrade the firmware (I have resetted) ?
Any suggestions?

I have a similar problem with S5.I have sent a board to Bitmain.They will check.I have never over clocked.
I have measured the voltage of working and not working board.I have found the problematic chip by this way.If a chip is malfunctioning the board does not work.
I recommend you to measure the voltage of first and last chips.
Today, I can not access to the miner.I am suspicious of a virus which effects miners.

If you can not access to a miner (S5), but miner seems to work with blinking green light.What may reason this and how can I fix it?

Yapılan iş mining değil, ona bağlı türev enstrümanların spekülatif alım satımı.
Sonuç türev enstrümanları ben ve benim gibi yatırımcılar kullanabilir ve risk dağıtabilir.Küçük yatırımcılar ise kaybedecekleri kesin ama sadece ne zaman kaybedecekleri bilinmeyen bir oyunun içinde bulurlar.
