701  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 01, 2021, 03:42:32 PM

Erm... Sorry, but I guess I would have to contradict here. Do you really think banks are not interesting in dealing with assets that are easy to bubble? Seriously, they are very interested in dealing with such assets. The reason is quite simple: if they facilitate credit to get the housing/real estate market to bubble, and then see the whole market crash and real estate owners can't supply sufficient collateral anymore because of the decreased real estate value, banks are in a perfect position to now get the collateral at lower prices back than they initially were willing to finance it for.

I don't think it will be as simple as what you say because even though the bank can take collateral for the credit given, the bank will still have problems turning the assets they take.  Like the case of a bank in my country, default on the credit given has a bad effect on the bank.  Bank health is very important for a country because 1 bank in trouble in a country will usually attract other banks.  The financial sector is the most sensitive to the country's economic stability.

I also feel the same way because why keep panicking when the price drops and immediately sell and then when the price goes up immediately sell for take profit even though if you look at the long term chart, BTC is very promising.  We often do panic buy or sell.  Whales on the other hand continue to make issues in their favour.
Bitcoin is not for all people. It's only good for people who have some characteristics like: brave, patient, determined and strong mentally.

You can practice, experience in the market with Spot trading or HODL. You should not and won't have too many chances to practice if you do it with Margin tradings. Your account will be liquidated with Margin calls and you will lose both your capital, your confidence and perhaps your family.

Yup, I also use trading and investing as learning materials because there are many life lessons to be learned.  No matter how difficult it is for us to start investing in crypto, it's not much different as we open a business in the real sector, it's even more risky to invest in the real sector because the failure factor is not only on one side but on various sides.  I feel that people who invest and trade in crypto are quite grateful for getting better financial literacy.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 31, 2021, 05:38:39 PM
Sure, if it breaks $45K, the BTC price will go to retest $50k as the next target. But we don't know a certain time to reach $50k. It can be in a week, two weeks, or more. Well, first of all, the current price is about $40k, and try to survive. Let's see if BTC price can survive and go to the next target $45k. Then, we can talk about the possibility of $50k and $60k.
The Stock to Flow model is validated and $100k is even the mid of this bull run. If you don't want to take risk and are fearful of losing profit by not taking it when price rises to $50k, you can sell it.

But be aware of the Stock to Flow model and prepare a feeling that you won't regret if Bitcoin has price higher than $65k. I am sure we all feel happy when taking profit but the feeling of regret when don't take profit at top is hard to accept.

704  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Digital currencies will make monetary policy more difficult on: July 31, 2021, 04:29:44 PM
I dont think so, as the regulator even if they created CBDC as a respond for existance of Crypto especially for BTC they still keep their positioning in monetary regulator. They will keep CBDC to be centralized and will be covered by decentralized design. This is just manipulated the market, they dont want crypto take revolution for new financial system.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: July 31, 2021, 03:27:44 PM
After the unlocking of the last batch of GBTC, the continued discount of Bitcoin Trust is undergoing a sharp reversal. This significant reversal may be a signal that investors are confident in the recent recovery of BTC.
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/gbtc-discount-sees-a-sharp-reversal-as-the-final-unlock-clears/

I don't think the decline in GBTC will have a significant effect on the market because even if it is sold by investors, what they sell is the grayscale stock itself and even if there is volatility in the crypto market it is only the speculators themselves in creating issues over the unlocking of GBTC. We all know that Grayscale has its own competitor such as ETF BTC and we know GBTC is more expensive than BTC.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 31, 2021, 01:39:39 PM
I feel the same too, because my investment position is just as my saving. I dont think to make realize gain and even I got lose until 50% of my portfolio, I dont do anything. In my mindset, as saving I dont need do anything because there is no urgent need for short term.
We all know that if dont have trading skill its better to choose as investor in long term.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 30, 2021, 03:17:34 PM

his problem is that why should we bomb china since they are the enemy.

actually there is nothing wrong about china getting richer everyday. they are innovating and have not stopped but also tried landing on mars too. disputes to neighbors is always happening, leave it for both parties india and china to settle. its their business.

stop watching the news that feeds hate to your heart against china, it will jiust make the the Asian hate worse.

China didn't start any war their focus is to make their country more richer thats why we see them doing anything just to maintain there economy strong,

There's nothing wrong with china doing that but the problem there attitude towards the disputed island maybe they should learn to give up that area so that people will not hate them towards this issues.

However, the Chinese government will take various ways to defend it, this is not easy because it has a very high population, even close to 1M after this pandemic.  Conditions with a large number of people in it already feel congested so that the government twists its mind so that they can keep their economy stable because in fact they are very vulnerable to political turmoil during this pandemic.  Wherever the Chinese population is, their status is immigrant but working in the country as a result the people of that country now feel anti-pathy with the Chinese.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin price Benchmark on: July 30, 2021, 02:03:50 PM

Whales is our important key to achieve bullrun to success, following their footsteps is the best decision to make. Hopefully btc will really got a positive effect on what level it was right now, lately it went up until $40k then saturates a little down to $39k. Next week, it will be expected to at least surpass $45k or better. Beyond from that is a big surprise for all of us.

I hope that will come true, because there are some people who said to me that the BTC price will not stay at 40k USD in long term then the price go down to 38k. They put 35k as the resistance for BTC Price. You have a different view about the price for next day if we compare to my friend point of view.

For me, I guess that BTC price will have a new resistance because of some positive news that is spread in the media. If the next day there is no positive news, I think that will be hard to reach 45K USD because now the price is downtrend.
709  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 01:10:00 PM

710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 29, 2021, 05:33:25 PM
Why does Indonesia have such a low sports achievement at the Olympics as well as at the SEA Games? I mean, your capital, Jakarta, has almost triple the population of my entire country, and we've already won two golds and a few bronze medals. We're also very good at the Winter Olympics.

Do you really want to discuss that ? Having high population isnt enough to have a future Olympic champion. I might be wrong, but Indonesia was never counted as super rich country. Even if there is a future Olympic champion somewhere in the country, a lot of money must be invested in training process, support and etc. Frankly, I have never heard about any famous coaches from Indonesia. That means athletest most probably need to train abroad, or hire a coach.

In my country, all the expenses on sport (training, uniform, coach, renting a place to train and etc) are paid by parents. There is almost no support from country. The country or the government involves only when you get a medal and money price - they immediately ask to pay the tax.

It does not matter where you live. What matters is money. You can live on the moon, train there and be the Olympic gold medallist. But money is only 50% of the success. For example UAE has all the money of the world, but they are rarely seen on the pedestal.

Yup, thats really make sense. We cant be the champion in the Olympic just based on the lucky Without full support for training for athletes.  Their abilities will be measured based on training, flight hours, and facilities.  How can we win in the Olympics where the opponents are all over the world without ever thinking about the quality of sports education in schools.  It's simple, to be a champion of the asian games is difficult how to become a champion in the olympics.

712  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 29, 2021, 03:37:25 PM
After the epidemic, I do think that there will be major changes in the medical field. There will be companies developing accordingly, usage of internet would be more widespread and I do believe that countries who are able to adapt to these changes and get their major population vaccinated first will be winning the whole thing.
There are countries who are right now leading the blockchain development area, these countries will be benefited a lot for the time being, the countries who are not only able to sustain themselves but also export, mainly focusing on production and import/export, they will be making huge amount of money. Also countries like China are dealing with making medical equipments and supplies, they will see a huge economic boon soon.

As additional, The country which is full supported by every sector not only the government but also the society will be the winner after this pandemic. Togetherness will bring us to the better world, when hoax is covered by the society and the government dont have any solution, they will be the mess country. From national debt side until security side of this country will be mess when there is no togetherness.

As far as the whales didn't said any bad things such as EM who really like to do anything what he wanna do. I think BTC will get its new level for the end of this week. The price movement today is supported by the fundamental positive issue from EM, Jack, and Cattie meeting. This is one of the examples for BTC Price that really need positive news to pump the price and control the bad news from China.

715  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: July 28, 2021, 03:49:03 PM

Why do we end talking about the price everytime that one of the CEOs of large companies talk about adoption? I believe that future growth by use embedded in these platforms is not a great strategy for bitcoin. Yes, I do agree that they would represent a great backing but they are serving the people and that is were adoption should be focused. All large platforms are unlikely to use anything that they do not control and if they do, eventually, they will try to effectively control it.

If I try to catch what you mean it seems like every crypto adoption will have an impact on centralized control. I feel that if that's what you mean then it would be better if crypto doesn't need to be adopted by anyone. Does this make sense? Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration because the character of BTC is much different from other assets, even fiat even though the function is the same. Wouldn't it be great news if many companies adopted BTC and other coins?
716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 28, 2021, 02:12:10 PM
over the weekend bitcoin recovered back to $34K after going below $30k and early this money the market jumped to above $38k breaking the $35k market bench mark, a move that many will see as a bull market movement. am very optimistic that in the coming days of the week bitcoin market is going to make a significant upward movement that will make it price recover back to it all time price of $64k and there after recording a new all time high.
what are your takes on the current bitcoin market movement.

The market strategy should be be used to get some profits. It should not hold for the longer period then a spectated one.Further holding will leads to the loss for sure.People should do good analysis to get some profit in trading. Most people fail to analysis the market and just keep for longer period blindly and may lose some times. It should be carefully watched to escape from the loss.
I know it seems like bitcoin is weak and can't pump too hard now, but I think it's due to the fuds that China were releasing day after day, the fud caused panic and made most people sell their crypto even at losses, because they thought the ship was going to sink soon like it did in 2017, instead of selling now, why not accumulate more bitcoin? so that when China run out of fud and crypto related things to ban you will be flying high, because bitcoin is still pump back to $64k eventually and even break the ATH.

We can't have the same view of the market, most of people will feel worry when they got loss for their investment. We can be stable when We have been experienced investors  but all we know that everyone have their own level experience for example me. Im not expert in trading or investment but I try to understand the market. I got 50% loss but I dont sell any BTC because I trust that one day the bullish will come. The way to cover my portfolio is buy back at lowest price and avarage down my asset.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 28, 2021, 01:29:34 PM

The Japanese are fortunate to have such a ratio between gold medals and the total number of medals won. In this spreadsheet, Germany's 10th place surprises me, they have few gold medals and few won awards in general. It's too early to talk about the final results, but the intermediate data is very weak, I wonder if Germany can seriously improve its position?

Germany just made it into the top 10 yesterday because of 2 gold medals won, before that we were even much further behind 2 gold medals mean a lot in the lower region of the table. There are only a few sports where Germany is very dominant and a medal, or even a gold medal, is pretty much assured. Off the top of my head, I can only think of dressage, where the team won the gold medal again yesterday and where they are also the favourites for the gold medal in the individual classification today. I think Germany needs to host the Olympics again so that the focus is more on mass sports again and it also gets more support from politics and companies.

In 2016, Germany confidently won the 5th place in the overall standings and the gap from the 4th place was minimal. I think this year they should not perform much worse. And I do not think that holding the Olympics in Germany can change global trends - most likely, young people choose other areas in order to exert their efforts and sports, due to supercompetitiveness, are not a priority now.

Thats quite interesting when another country try to guess what position they will be, meanwhile my country I dunno and I dont have any guess for their position because another teams are better than our athletes. We are just waiting for the badminton players go final. Until now they show a great performance and we hope they will get 1st position as result for their workhard.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: July 27, 2021, 05:53:00 PM
Am I the only one who thinks that the strengthening in the crypto market is motivated by Jack's recent conversation with EM and Cattie?  Initially BTC, which was stuck at 32k USD, slowly rose to 37K USD, and this was quite awaited by investors and traders even though their conversation could also be seen from various sides, whether it was pure without any other agenda or there was another meaning behind the conversation.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: July 27, 2021, 04:57:35 PM
Primary reason for this is the government regulation towards cryptocurrencies. Banks are fully aware of sanctions being thrown to institutions practicing unregulated form or medium of exchange. Unless they see concrete laws and guideline on how government would handle cryptocurrencies, Banks would not touch this.

It is just what you say. It is highly dependent on the country you are living in, but in many countries there are laws that prohibit banks from dealing with unregulated assets, whatever that may be. In several European countries banks even froze accounts during the early Bitcoin days just because someone received money from someone else for selling Bitcoin on an exchange. That is no problem anymore and the banks I know allow for Bitcoin trading and sending and receiving fiat via their accounts for Bitcoin related activities.

Banks holding crypto themselves and even transacting with it is becoming more and more popular. Although platforms like Corda show that banks are interested in co-developing the platform they are ultimately going to use. Ripple also always worked very closely with banks. Whether they ever will be using Bitcoin on a large scale, I don't know.

My wild mind says that they don't want to deal with assets that are easy to bubble just because of a pump, I myself said it would be very difficult for Crypto to be trusted to become a legal transaction tool in all countries because of the concept it has.  How can the government want to relinquish their authority in managing fiat while in crypto there is no centralization of currency in crypto.  All are free without interference from the central bank and any country.
720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 27, 2021, 04:07:24 PM

hahahaha

You opportunist...    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I will agree with you, that there is a need for BTC prices to stay above $35k for several more days.. more than a week longer in order to show another example once again how uie poo-ie, aka the wannabe sorcerer who happens to be a diptwat, happens to be wrong yet another time - even though you had been right for a decent amount of time (was it two months so far?) and hardly can even credit you with that level of happening to be right either.. because you don't know shit.. you just happen to throw out some nonsense, and every once in a while you happen to be correct. takes a lot of talent for those kinds of maths and sciences, no?
As far as I know that BTC price movements are based on fundamental issues such as countries that legalize or not, regulations on BTC, networking and mining, and many other things.  Regarding yesterday's conversation between EM, Jack, and Cattie, the next day the falling BTC price slowly started to rise, I suspect it was just the effect of their online meeting yesterday.  Have I misjudged the basis of this price movement?
