701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HaoBTC? on: February 17, 2017, 10:27:19 AM
Using Bitcoin is like owing your bank. Why should we rely on their service as a bank just for tiny bit of interest. Keeping btc in our wallet and wait 10 years to see what will come!
Most users are using online wallet to store their bitcoin. Running 'your' wallet requires you to download node and keep it updated and I don't really see point in that since services like blockchain.info are really trusted
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: need help with what mining program to use on: February 17, 2017, 10:09:35 AM
i just have one MSI Radeon HD 7870 2GB gpu what is the best mining program to use and where can i download thanks

you can tryour pool to see how much you get hash all detail is there in pool ..i mean monero pool
Maybe read what he asked before you comment ? lol..

@OP
Claymore's miners are best for almost every algorithm. You can find them here in Mining (Altcoins) Section. They are free to download but there is fee if you are using them. Setup and everything else is explained in their thread
thank you i am just having issues getting windows finding the card was not sure if it may have been something to do with wrong mining program this is my first attempt at trying to mine and it is driving me crazy cant seem to find the right drivers for the card

Claymore recommend using 15.12 drivers on his thread so have you tried that ? If you had this issue it's most likely not due to miner software since you say even windows cannot recognize your cards.
703  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining? on: February 16, 2017, 01:46:29 PM
Genesis is scam.
May be we can't call them scam right now, but it is true that mining contract with them may get terminated if it doesn't earn enough to cover maintenance expenses. Also they don't have transparency about total mining power they actually own and amount of contracts they have already sold. May be they are selling more than what they actually have.
What is most untrustworthy is that they don't show address they use for mining. I mean it's not like they have anything to lose, when you go to any pool you can see all the big miners and how much are they earning but you are no threat to them
704  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GTA:O SERVICES / PAY AFTER / price start at $2.50 / 3500+ happy clients / PC on: February 16, 2017, 01:43:26 PM
Isn't Rockstar banning modded accounts ? My questions is what will happen if you do your service and my account gets banned afterwards ? Are you offering some sort of compensation for your clients ?
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining Motherboard on: February 16, 2017, 01:39:58 PM
I had Asrock H97 anniversary board and it's really good. It's the same socket as H81 Pro Btc and it have 6 PCIe connectors too so see if you can find it in your country and you should be good to go there
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Ethereum Miner With Reduced DevFee to 0.01% on: February 16, 2017, 01:38:09 PM
There was already a thread where some retard did this. If you pay a bit of attention there you should've seen comments on that thread. You are thinking oh shit great I'm earning another 1.975$ a month, fuck ! But if claymore didn't make his miner your hashing speed would be much less and you would loose much more than that fucking 1.975$ a month
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie Hardware advice requested. on: February 16, 2017, 01:35:19 PM
Hi guys.

I think I have sorted the idea for my 1st rig. In my head at least. Can someone tell me if this is a sensible rig to start having a play with?

ASRock H81 pro BTC
4GB DDR3 RAM
Intel Celeron G1840 Processor 2.8 GHz LGA1150
Samsung 250GB SSD
3x Radeon RX 480 Nitro+ 8192MB GDDR5
Custom case
Riser cards and cables etc
EVGA 1000 W GQ Series ATX Modular PSU

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
You don't need SSD for miner. It does help when you are setting it up but if you are on a tight budget you can save some money there. Also if you plan to stick with only 3 cards 1000w Power supply is a bit of overkill, if not it's fine then
708  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinpayments.net shutting down on: February 16, 2017, 12:06:51 AM
Sorry for raising this thread from the grave but does anyone know what is this all about?
Site looks live today, is the service working?

I'm asking because i might use it in one project.

Could be fake, Could be that coinpayments.net just changed their company location so they don't have to comply with those laws we don't know now. I used their api few months ago for some project and If you want to use it I think it's pretty safe
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Data Center Mining Garage and Man Mining Cave on: February 15, 2017, 11:59:34 PM
I love what you did with server racks. I mean it does impact cooling performance a bit but for the big time miner much more efficient to manage a shit load of rigs and direct heat where you want.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: February 15, 2017, 11:51:06 PM
Everyone talking about this one case. I mean there are thousands of bets that gone trough successfully and now service is a scam because they took some time to resolve one problematic bet ? I understand that guy didn't have his money for 3 weeks but this is a bit of exaggeration
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Zen CPU's: Ryzen and Naples on: February 15, 2017, 11:42:38 PM
You are forgetting about new gpus. CPU mining will never be as good as GPU mining due to CPU to GPU cost comparison. If you invest same amount of money into CPU and GPU mining you would get ROI much faster on GPU rigs.

There will always be new CPU's and GPU's

CPU mining rigs are not so convenient but I figure that GPU shack setup exist for a reason. Looking at this page there are CPU's that can mine a decant amount on XMR and there may be future coins that do well for CPU's. CPU's also have the chance to really farm up some early alts and sell on the pump http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/
if coin can be mined with CPU and GPU both, I don't really see the future of CPU mining there. And for CPU only coins, they are usually forgotten by traders in few days. Fact is that GPUs are just better than CPUs at mining for same invested money.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a detailed overview of the better known altcoins? on: February 15, 2017, 10:19:57 PM
I am looking for an overview of altcoins, that not only shows me the name, but also the important technological differences like
- max. number of coins
- which mining algorithm is used
- which prove of work system is used
- confirmation/block time
- special features/properties
- and many more...
Is something like this already to be found somewhere? If not what should be added to my list?
You basically described coinmarketcap. I guess they don't have confirmation/block time but I think if you want to create new coin tracker at this point it would be really hard for you to stand out of the crowd and really succeed
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Earn upto 0.001 BTC per day on: February 15, 2017, 10:17:16 PM
Wtf ? So what you are doing here in Mining section is explaining what is mining ? Are you somehow retarded or what ? I understand that you want to promote your pool but please, with taht fee (yeah 0% like you say lol) it's just scam. when reading this I feel it's like 2012 and now I just feel that my intelligence is insulted

716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining? on: February 15, 2017, 11:06:44 AM
Genesis is scam. yeah they are paying to users but what they don't tell you is that they have rights to terminate your contract if it's no longer profitable for them. So all that "forever" and x years contracts with small hash will eventually be terminated. And even if you purchase x amounts of hash (larger) it will take years to hit ROI

i think they are not scam, i am with them since 2015 until now and i am getting ROI for almost one year and now i still got paying from them but i don't have much of hashrate. if the OP wants to select cloud mining, make sure that you have the info about cloud mining itself and read about the reviews from many people so you can select one with best recommended from people.
What does it mean "i am getting roi for almost one year?" Have you got the return or not, because everyone, who claims to have bought their contracts, are saying the same thing.
They aren't a scam because they are paying me, and I will roi in a year or 2 or 3 or whatever... and all of them are yet to reach the point, when GM starts sending them money.

Until you have reached the ROI point GM are paying you with your own money, so you're getting ahead of yourselves by saying they are not a scam.

Exactly. They will pay you as long as they have enough new users. If (when) new users stop appearing and investing on their website you think they will still pay you ? It's same with every cloud mining and genesis is not really different then any of them
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining monero with AMD GPU on: February 14, 2017, 05:34:21 PM
thanks, ok so any sugeestions of a AMD GPU for P8p67-mpro ?
Has crossfire capability.

Thanks alot again
Best gpu for mining overall is RX 470 Sapphire Nitro+4gb version. If you are buying it for mining I don't think you will hit ROI some time soon,  but if you are buying it for gaming you can turn few bucks
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoin Should I be Mining? on: February 14, 2017, 12:38:00 PM
First of all if you are mining for profit forget about it. CPU mining is not profitable with any CPU because basically electricity costs are going to be much higher than your profit. About gpu mining again, that GPU is very low end and I'm not even sure if just running your computer will be more expensive than what you will get. In short, if you just want to see how it will go without making some profit, you can mine Monero

Hey, thanks for the reply! I'm not expecting any profit with Monero or Ethereum, or I guess any altcoin really. I was just wanting to see (or speculate, rather) how long it would take to earn (ignoring costs here) around $5.00 or so. Just for fun, really.

Well I cannot really speculate what would hashrate be because you have well, not really popular mining hardware and no one is really posting info for that. Only option is to download miner see how much hashrate are you getting and put that into online calculator. You will see your earnings per hour/day/month...

Well, after using Minergate, for Cryptonight (Cryptonote?) my hashrate is significantly lower than what sub-par would be. I get around 100 h/s using all four of my CPU cores, and my GPU, for some reason, only gets about 45 h/s. I'm guessing it's because that it is Nvidea, which I've read is much slower than an AMD GPU.

Good coin for nvidia is zcash, well for newer cards, but you can still try. Also use claymore's miner instead of minergate. You will get some extra performance.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice on getting back into GPU mining on: February 14, 2017, 12:31:16 PM
Unfortunately, cost of electricity here is 0.11kWh. Right now I use a single 390 for sporadic mining, it does 344 Sols. A single Gigabyte 270X does 500 h/s (cryptonight) I have three  running 24/7 on NiceHash.

I'd like the idea of getting more energy efficient cards but I feel like I have to get the most of what I currently have and it seems like the market is saturated with old cards at the moment.

What type of 470s would you recommend?
Best ones atm are Sapphire Nitro+ 4gb cards. They have best cost/performance ratio and very good cooling. I personally have a few of them and I'm more than satisfied with them
720  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 🔥$25 DigitalOcean Coupon Code for 2$🔥 on: February 14, 2017, 12:27:46 PM
Why do people sell these codes when they are free for anyone with a .edu email and if I am not mistaken you get a $50 coupon when you register.

Its free? I did now know that. If I only have edu email I might just register to it.
He sure is just selling it to people who don't have .edu mail. I wonder if Dice sites using java are going to work with their hosting plan.  Has anyone tried it?

I don't have account to them yet. so if casino site works, please do PM me.
It's not only free for people with edu, but they get 50$ code. They offer you VPS so yeah you can host whatever you want there, including java platforms
