701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: How to increase bitcoin demand on: November 04, 2018, 10:23:12 PM

Contact e-commerce websites like Amazon, and request that you want to pay with Bitcoin, Ether or any other coin you like.

It can be done by using site's feedback or contact us forms.

This way we can create demand because good e-commerce sites care about their users. And they know that the more payment methods you have the higher the conversion rate (the % of people who buy something) because some users can use only 1 method of payment. For example, some americans can only pay with Paypal while some venezuelans can only pay with Bitcoin, etc. So, if the site supports more payment methods it will convert more orders on average.

To increase the demand for implementing cryptocurrency payments in e-commerce sites we just have to request that using the contact us or feedback forms. The more people give feedback to their favorite online retailers the more people will start using bitcoin as payment method (now that we have segwit).

The more people do this the more demand for Bitcoin there will be.

Thanks to those who do that.

Ideas are not new, but very good. Only in this particular case, it will not work, because while the legitimacy of bitcoin is in question and its official use is prohibited, Amazon stores will not be able to introduce such a method of payment. Maybe through some intermediary, Yes, but definitely not directly. Special permissions and decisions of the government concerning regulation of cryptocurrency on the territory of their States are needed.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 04, 2018, 10:20:00 PM
The question is very simple as the subject line says,

Do you want to see a stable bitcoin market price or a volatile market price?

Please cast your vote and give us the reasons for your choice!

I know such kind of topic can potentially attract a large number of spam so I have kept it as self moderated! Any invalid reply will be deleted!

Personally, I, as an investor choosing a long-term investment in bitcoin, of course it will be beneficial if bitcoin is more stable, in order to track its movements without strong volatility. The more stable the currency, the more accurate and high-quality Analytics, and therefore the actions taken in relation to this currency. I absolutely accurately for stability and rare racing to the moon.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: November 04, 2018, 10:16:15 PM
Keep calm and stop to see this as an exchange... We all realise that Satoshi made a wonderful economic system that's changing the world right now. More than 75% of bitcoiners is taking this like a bubble, where you should buy and go off when you earn the enough or till you "grow rich". Let´s realise the real insight of Satoshi was to make payment system method clearing the need to trust in a thirdparty and to clear the double spent in transactions. Let´s start to use the Bitcoin as it should do be taken and realise that another incredible advance is the Blockchain technology.

I am seeing many people getting worry because of Bitcoin is going down its price, this kind of people should read the Bitcoins whitepaper, and to stop to treat bitcoin as another fiat currency. This is just a thought about all I am watching in this forum and in others social sites where people is just taking this as another exchange to make trading and they are´nt watching what we have in hands. The chance to change the world literally and the opportunity to make worth the economy worldwide...

 Smiley Smiley Smiley

Satoshi created a really unique and very useful product (which is very rare nowadays). Our main task is not to fuck up what is and to raise it to the degree of the absolute, that would be our movement no one controlled and you could make purchases and any time anywhere anonymously. Perhaps it will not be bitcoin, but its improved version, but it will be for sure.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is what happening to BTC on: November 04, 2018, 10:09:34 PM
hi folks let me tell you what i think is going on right know Prices falling while value is increasing can only mean 2 things: 1. Either the price went up too much last year and is now correcting, or 2.: people don't get the value yet and we will see a strong price increase in a few months most likely is second option We will soon find out! tell me what do you think  Roll Eyes

The price that bitcoin holds now is very adequate and as we see very stable. To rise or fall needs a serious causes and conditions. In December last year they were and people who know the inner kitchen got a great bonus for the new year. This year we do not expect such a thing, but at the beginning of the next - very likely. Shop now.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 25,000 German Online Stores in Germany to Begin Accepting Crypto in 2019 on: November 04, 2018, 10:06:29 PM
25,000 German Online Stores in Germany to Begin Accepting Crypto in 2019

A Swiss startup company aims to make the use of cryptocurrencies for online transactions simple and safe just as it is with PayPal.The company’s main accusation against crypto is that it is “a currency that is hard to …

The main problem of cryptocurrency is not that it is difficult to use or understand, but that the Commission is very large and the speed of operation is extremely long. If a lot of companies that act as an intermediary and you do not need to study the theory of cryptomeria taking advantage of its benefits, but the main unfortunately, they do not decide. At least in the future, this issue remains relevant.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: November 04, 2018, 10:03:36 PM
Do you all have time to think about the future of our children and grandchildren in the future about the economy ...? if we see bitcoin in the present, it's already very busy talking about it some argue negatively and some argue positively Will in the future be the subject of conversation at the dining table for our grandchildren later ...?
 Huh Huh Huh
I can assure you that in progressive countries and progressive parents, children are already sitting with them at the table and discussing bitcoins and the crypto-currency world in General. Bitcoin is 10 years old. That's huge. I personally witnessed a child trying to explain to his grandfather how the blockchain works. Unfortunately to no avail)
707  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who pays trading fees on exchanges ? on: November 04, 2018, 10:00:53 PM
Hi,
I want to know, who pays trading fees on exchanges like bittrex, binance ? Is it seller or buyer or both will be charged ?
When binance says that trading fees will be 0.1%, does it mean that both will be charged 0.1% fees, i.e. 0.1% fees will be charged to seller and 0.1% will be charged to buyer ?
Please advice.
Thanks

On different exchanges, this issue is regulated in different ways: one pays only the seller, and the other and the seller and the buyer (envy of the greed of developers and owners of the exchange). Options that would pay only the buyer has not yet met, although based on my extensive experience I can say that for sure and this can be found in the vast Korean trading floors.
708  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: October 28, 2018, 02:35:23 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

The main question is, is it really necessary to teach all people what bitcoin and blockchain are? Not in my opinion. The topic of cryptocurrency is quite narrow and people come to it when they are ready and they have enough intelligence to study the issue and start participating. The rest should remain service personnel. So it was and will always be. No need to force and train anyone. This is totally wrong.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there's another way to pay in the future? on: October 28, 2018, 02:31:02 PM
Im thinking like an micro chip implanted in our body. This system is not out of the picture because how we discover things every year, it is not impossible that in the future this things may happen and it will boom like btc.

It is possible, however, against the background of the fact that there are so many prerequisites in cinema and world culture that chipping people eventually lead to complete total control can cause difficulties. People don't like being manipulated. Of course, this can be done under the sauce of promotions or bonuses, but still should be an alternative for those who do not want to implant a chip under the skin.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: October 28, 2018, 02:27:47 PM

As we know Samsung is one of the biggest and famous phones, smartphones, tablets producers in the whole world and now they are planning to make there own mining software. Is this a good news for us bitcoin users? I mean what are they aiming for?

For more info just read visit the link: https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-is-reportedly-making-mining-hardware-for-cryptocurrencies/

Strive to circumvent third-party app developers for mining. Mining still remains the hype and attention to mining hardware and also to applications remains high. It seems to me that Samsung decided to release its software against the background of this trend to pinch off a piece of this pie and leave smaller competitors behind. Still, they have very strong production capacity and support service, which is not in small businesses.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheers; and congratulations to all bitcoin traders on: October 28, 2018, 02:18:52 PM
Good news bitcoin  and other crypto coins taking a big u turn . In just 30 minutes a big price hike. bitcoin and other major coins having a  big jump added $20 billion to market capitalization of crypto market.  About 10% increase.  The market was suffering from all the negativeness and hence was so down.  A restart kick for upwards journey was awaited since months. And 17th July witnessed such a big kick for start of movement.

This is all amidst the positive news coming since last few weeks.
My opinion is this is the good time to enter the market and buy bitcoin or other major leading coins with the long term investment strategy.  If this momentum sustains and continues for few weeks today's surge in prices will  prove to be a strong base for big big rise in the value.  This one stroke dated 17th July may prove to be a long glorified future story to be noted in the bitcoin history.

https://www.ccn.com/crypto-market-adds-20-billion-in-30-minutes-as-bitcoin-spikes-above-7400/

Your views for bitcoin price movement in the months to follow?

On the example of this jump, which was almost six months ago, we see that the situation is completely repeated. The same jumps and throws we saw in front of all the famous pump in December 2017. Those who see these trends have long been bought and waiting (including me). I advise you to analyze the price movement and build a strategy based on this analysis, and not on emotions and signals from unknown people.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Security on: October 28, 2018, 02:06:53 PM
Hi All

What do you use for your bitcoin security, I have been looking into usb style password protectors, but don't know enough about them as to the trust that I should place in them.

Has anyone bought them and would you recommend them?

Many thanks

Airdrop291

Hey. It is always better at the moment is to create a file with all your passwords, then set a password on it to add to the archive. Next, we throw off this archive either on a virtual disk or on a USB drive. For greater security is to duplicate it at least 2 times. At the moment it is the easiest, most reliable and at the same time the cheapest way to secure your assets. If you have money you can buy cold purse type Ledger.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing can stop Bitcoin! Big News! on: October 28, 2018, 02:03:21 PM
According to Brian Kelly at CNBC this is the most positive news for Bitcoin all year: I Agree!

https://ethereumworldnews.com/bitcoin-btc-etf-might-be-possible-with-the-bakkt-announcement-says-cnbcs-brian-kelly/

Yes, indeed, this is great news for bitcoin and for the world of cryptocurrency in General. I must say that this year was very busy for all employees of our industry and now such news as a warm shower after a long cold walk through the frozen city. I hope that by 2019 bitcoin will swing properly and show stable growth.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 28, 2018, 01:59:46 PM
I'm glad to know your opinions about that...

Try to image 10 years from now...It will be comparable with 2009 "early adopters"?

Quite possible. We are the ones who use the cryptocurrency and digital money on a very antiquated level. In fact, we are like cavemen for those who will use cryptocurrency in 10-20 years. It will be a completely different level, with different speeds and commissions. Would rather have it the future is now! I think Fiat money will go into the past in 5-6 years is very likely.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: October 28, 2018, 01:54:51 PM
Well, every one want to be a millionaire, this is the dream of everyone, no harm in it. Henry Ford did not make a conveyor for the man he did to produce cheaper cars.Innovations come from attempts to bypass competition and win.
Although this is partly our own mistake. You can not always blame others. For example, I mentioned that we can not spend bitcoin to buy what you want. The question is, did we really see if it's impossible to buy this thing using bitcoins or are you making a guess? Because I've seen a lot of people who just assumed they can not afford to waste their time, but they could.but also we know bitcoin adoption as a currency is not yet great,, is also part of our error. For example, how many times have you asked the seller you are using bitcoin? We need to start with ourselves and insist on acceptance, and then expect others to follow

This is the dream of many pioneers and enthusiasts for ,long run, , but  it will be near-impossible to get the coin into the
mainstream economy short-term,but with time it adoption will increase.Even I, who started late in the game , wanted to see the Bitcoin as a currency of work, and not just some speculative assets.

Typically, sellers indicate on their resources that they accept cryptocurrency as payment and this usually occurs in the digital trading environment. If bitcoin reaches the level of credit cards with the ability to pay bitcoins at the current rate in shops and restaurants, the situation will turn the best side to bitcoin. It is a pity that the strong volatility does not allow to use this payment method now. Wait.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to prove source of funds 4 bank? on: October 28, 2018, 01:46:10 PM
After transfer BTC to banks account finally, they frezze my account and asked to provide documents, source of funds. From my crypto wallet, funds where transferred to banks account, so I transfer to my self. What documents could be about BTC source...?

No documents can not be, because bitcoin is an anonymous system! In what country did this event take place? I think you have not regulated the legislation on bitcoin, so banks freeze accounts because they do not understand the source of funds. Documents you vryatli course will be able to find, as it is simply impossible. Try to talk to the Bank Manager and resolve the issue. Please write if the issue will be resolved.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 27, 2018, 11:59:24 PM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

From fishing there are many means, but first of all it is your attention and vigilance while working on the network. Most of the top anti-viruses are now equipped with a system of protection against fishing. I use Kaspersky. It works perfectly for them. Some browsers use built-in protection to show the correct sites with icons. You can also add a site to your bookmarks to always be sure in the tab you open.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: October 27, 2018, 11:55:17 PM
I mostly see a lot of post skirting about the issue of decrease in bitcoin market price by saying hodl, hodl of which i mostly do not get them. Assuming we all decide to hodl without any transaction that means with time btc will drain and what will be the essence of the coin. We should always be a family to embrace the state of price no matter what and ensure buying and selling in order to at least have a significant effect on market price. I hodl, you hodl and we all hodl and btc will drain just like that.

It's hard to be a family on the battlefield, where everyone is for himself) it's still a market and capitalism, not an evening dinner in the family circle with a Turkey on the table. The main rule is profit. Therefore, I have always been against the fact that relatives were with me in the same business. Sooner or later, you will still have to face problems and then really unpleasant things will begin.
719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today`s bitcoin market is pretty quite slow! on: October 27, 2018, 11:51:42 PM
There are so many hodlers, long-term investors and other people who made nothing but only to wait the market grows. How stupid this people are!!!

They do not know the people that trade in bitcoin daily just only maximized the risk and the small amount of profit they have...Just to make the market green... And so this long-term hodler, seeing the market green, sold a sum of bitcoin saying " we need to maximize our loss" LOL you are not helping the market grow, you are so selfish. We need to help the market grow not just on the prospect of profit but rather expansion and growth of the market. We talk not about today, we talk about the future and what lies ahead.

This may give much debate to everyone but let us be set - we need bitcoin for the future and we need it grow starting TODAY...

I've always said that investing is a matter for the patient. Patience is half of what you need to have professionally if you are engaged in brokerage, trading or investing. Patience is the key to better understanding the market and the movement of capital within it. Just patience will always warn you against mistakes at first and you will not go bankrupt in 2 days.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: October 27, 2018, 11:48:30 PM
Hello, would love to get your opinion on this topic. Do you think there would be more regulations regarding cryptocurrency by the Government? Both now and the future? Let’s say bitcoin price rises to $100,000 per bitcoin, Do you think the government would actually let it be and function on its own without constant regulations? Well, personally I think we would see more regulations from the government down the line to a 1 Trillion Dollars total market cap and above. But I’m positive such regulations won’t hamper on the further growth and advancement of cryptocurrency. So tell me, what do you think?

I do not think that the laws and regulations of the government regarding the cryptocurrency will change somehow due to the growth of the bitcoin exchange rate. The growth of the exchange rate means only an increase in the liquidity of the product in relation to its price in the market. If it would threaten the welfare of the Fiat currency-then Yes. But while cryptocurrencies are completely dependent on Fiat currencies, this is unlikely.
