701  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Lastb.it - Check last bitcoin price on: December 23, 2015, 02:26:34 AM
Whats the difference between you and coindesk or Coinbase? Providing the same service, except with some ads along the side.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Also you don't even have options for other currencies. Site takes like 20 secs to load too.

Wow... A lot of options. I chose only 1 and that's mobile wallets. That's the most important IMO.

Good thank you for the answers.

If you are using bitcoin for something else please post it in the thread.

I use bitcoins to buy stuff at a discount price as well, like steam games as stuff. Because people don't trust Paypal these days.

706  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 22, 2015, 04:44:57 AM
The best way to save is to invest. You can save your money + get a bit of interest on your money too.

The guy who rescued Hitler really should have shot him in the face and killed him.

It has proven to be very very costly.

710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 22, 2015, 03:36:58 AM
I actually use it as a payment method instead of an investment. So no...

When I use BTC it's like Paypal, except denominated in another currency.

I think it was Wii Sports. I still play it.
712  Other / Meta / Re: Improvement in removing scammers on: December 22, 2015, 03:35:14 AM
How can we improve such steps to remove scammers from this site?
Should we add couple of registration steps or should admin of this page put escrow on each transaction?

I think with the new forum coming things will be much better for us. Right now people don't even need to verify their email before registering... They can just register as many accounts as they want.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: December 22, 2015, 03:32:51 AM
Well I voted for "As payment mechanism between friend, family, coworker".

Because I believe BTC designed as a payment gateway. I've used BTC a dozen times to transfer funds to friends overseas.
714  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens after every single Bitcoin is mined on: December 22, 2015, 01:59:39 AM
Will the price become more steady or will it continue to fluctuate as it does now?

I would assume that after every single coin is mined... Which will take ages of course, that the currency supply stabilises and the price will probably become steadier than right now because right now the currency base is still expanding.

But it'll still fluctuate, it'll just become steadier. Because right now the miners are dumping the coins to pay their electricity bills and after every single coin is mined they don't have to worry about that anymore Wink
715  Economy / Exchanges / Re: C-CEX.com - Fast and Easy to Use CryptoCurrency EXchange (BTC / USD). 100+ coins on: December 20, 2015, 03:48:06 AM
I accidentally sold 35k candlecoins for USD... At a ridiculous price(0.00000007 USD/CD). I thought that the 0.000000007 price was for BTC, not USD.

Then I bought 5 CD back with the tiny amount of USD I had.

Urghhh...

You mixed something up. Look: https://c-cex.com/?p=cd-usd there is no such operations in history.

Nope... I can see it:

719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to spend Bitcoin? Newbie's opinion. on: December 19, 2015, 05:13:23 AM
Hi guys, I'm new here and I just started reading the forum. I see a lot of advise like "invest Bitcoin", buy mining equipment etc. But I don't see anyone talk about daily life products. Food, computers, bills, Christmas shopping. The other day I was paid 4000 usd in btc and now don't know how to spend it wisely. But I ordered a pizza today and it tasted good.

Wow. 4000 USD in BTC is a lot of money. Do you work for BTC?

I wouldn't recommend anyone to start mining now. The difficulty has shot up a lot and it's almost impossible to make a profit or even ROI without some kind of special privilege like free electricity and such.

You can order and buy lots of things with BTC nowadays... Just spend it like you do with your local currency. I think you should try out some of the physical storefronts that offers to accept BTC.

Good luck and don't gamble Wink
