701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 27, 2023, 11:59:10 PM
So Fulton fighting in Japan is somehow worrisome since Japan is known as a country that has an unfair judging system.  So I think in order to win Fulton needs to KO Inoue. If Fulton failed to knock out Inoue, no matter how ahead he is in point, there is a huge possibility that he will lose the fight.

As long as the fight will turned out showing Fulton is really dominating Inoue, even he won't be able to knock out Inoue, I see the judges will be fair on their match. Aside from that, even it's on Japan, the judge will came from other countries and not Japan.

This fight will be a clean fight and I'm sure of that. This is a big fight after all so let's be positive that no cheating will take place.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 27, 2023, 11:57:39 PM
Status wise I agree with you Donaire had proven himself and may probably consider as one of the legend that dominates the Bantamweight and below weight class.  But, age matters considering the same punching power and skill is involved.  If Santiago isn't as skill as Donaire then I can say Donaire has better chance of winning.

Age matters right but as I said, in Donaire's 39 years old he has impressive fight. He's 40 years right now and I don't see any difference that will change from 39 years to 40 years old. He will surely performed the same when he was 39 years old.

Not saying Santiago is really the super underdog but I don't see how he will against Donaire which is still good at his age.

If we talked about Donaire vs Moloney instead, I might see a possible win for Moloney even I will side to Donaire.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 27, 2023, 11:55:29 PM
So in cases he lost, he can go back to 147 and defend his belt. Very wise decision on the side of Spence, and too bad that Thurman want's to be his dance partner.

That's the reason why people will want to watch the fight, to see Spence losing the match against Thurman.

I want that to happen and will wait what will be his next plans after he loses.

Although technically, I don't see how Thurman will win against Spence but I hope so.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 27, 2023, 11:54:22 PM
Ok thank you for your replies now I understand better and this reason is genuine enough to see attempts to reduce spam in the chat room, I just register on stake recently and I notice I could not send messages to the chat group because I don't have up to $500 total wager amount.
I must say it may be easier to reach the $500 wagering but then to a nub, it may be s big deal unless he continues to make deposits until the amount will be reached, but the good this is that one can read the chats.

Yes, it's not that chat is really invisible to new users. It's just that you can't chat and that is expected for new users.

The $500 wagering requirement is easy to achieve even with small deposits. We are talking about wagers and not the total amount winning.

Just enjoy your stay and you won't notice you already reach the $500 wagered amount and maybe more.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 26, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
The first game will start in 10 minutes, so get ready with your streaming platform, guys, so we can also start betting live. Phoenix is the underdog, but I think they are capable of winning, as Converge even struggled against Blackwater, which is a bad team. Remember that Phoenix has lots of veterans who have been in this situation many times, so I like their maturity over the talent of Converge. Therefore, I'm taking Phoenix to win the game."

As expected, Converge is leading the game by 9 points now. But it's too early to tell if they will win or cover the spread. However, if you are betting on the first-half result, the current situation might favor you. So far, I am seeing a low-scoring game, which implies that both teams are playing good defense.

When betting involving Converge, regardless of their opponent, I'd rather skip on the spread betting in the Live Game. When Converge is up by a comfortable lead, they are resting their key players right away and those big leads will be played in a garbage time spoiling the chances to win of those bettors who bet on live betting spread in favor of them.

Maybe the best betting option for now, for every PBA matches this conference as I have noticed, is betting on Totals.

Who's lucky to hit decent wins on that betting option already this conference?
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: February 26, 2023, 11:59:19 PM
Well, if you are lucky you can get a max win in a single spin, a $0.2 bet can win $3000 while other slots even offer 50kx to 100x max win.  Though as I said it doesn't rely on anyone's skill of analytics but rather rely heavily on luck on triggering max spins. But yeah you are right, the right term is almost impossible but not impossible at all.  Grin

For a $0.2 bet, although possible to hit around $3,000, it's a rare case and you really need a hell of luck to achieve that. Sometimes, just possible to only hit on the bonus feature. Since $0.02 is a low bet, it needs a higher tier of combination on the slots to make it possibly happen. The most realistic big wins that a $0.02 bet can achieve on either a bonus feature or a set of free games is around $500 to $1,000.

Beyond that winning amount that I have mentioned, we need tons of luck on our side.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 26, 2023, 11:59:05 PM
Stamina was always been a problem for Mark Magsayo, I even thought that maybe it was because they don't have a good place where to jog as I have always seen them jogging on the second Mactan bridge in Cebu when he was still with the ALA stable but that problem still exist even if he was there in the US, though there is a little improvement but still it is noticeable.

I have to agree with you regarding the stamina concerns for Magsayo.

But since changing head trainer in October last year, I'm sure his camp already working out for a long on how to improve Magsayo's stamina.

After all, it's not that he's really getting totally exhausted the entire fight but rather just a noticeably lacking strength of his punches. Magsayo was able to survive the 12-round fight against Rey Vargas and just needs a good adjustment on how to make his stamina last longer to be able to keep also his strength last long.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 26, 2023, 11:58:44 PM
So i wanted to share the things i have noticed before when i was regularly visiting a land base casino during weekend and sometimes after work. I have noticed several times when a person was winning more than the usual in poker, i usually approach that person after he left the table what was his secret for those wins, i was literally surprised because 7 of 10 people whom i have asked answered they play gambling trying not to win but to have fun after a long tiring week of work or business.

Does anyone of you thought that playing for fun helps you think better and win with less effort especially in poker than having the mindset of trying to win? Because when you are trying your hard to win, it will make you overthink and that your mental state will get stressed out.
I think this will work for both land base and online casinos.

That's their secret. Why should they tell you? Just kidding.

It doesn't make sense to play poker with negative mindset and not trying to win. It's more fun when winning therefore these players will surely wants to win.

I don't see why a poker player will play that game and not prepared to make an attempt winning.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 26, 2023, 11:57:23 PM
Or make sure that Fulton will KO Inoue in the early rounds to not give Inoue a chance to adjust and comeback on the later rounds.

A forced attempt to Knock Out Inoue in the early rounds might be a dangerous tactic.

Instead, just keep with Inoue at all times doing more scores and attempting for the KO punch if found a good spot.

Inoue is not that dumb to let Fulton KO him in the early rounds or in the entire match. The Japanese boxing IQ is at the highest level.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 26, 2023, 11:55:45 PM
So let's see if James can pull this one out again in history for him.

A big achievement this season for the Los Angeles Lakers is being made with that comeback win. According to the current season record, teams are 0-138 this season when trailing by 27+ points. Not just because of Lebron but Anthony Davis and their best role players and teammates do a great job.

However, that achievement will surely much make sense to celebrate if they will keep establishing more wins as they badly need it to even make it to the play-in tournament which is for now, still need a tough work to make it happened.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 26, 2023, 11:52:19 PM
Since the only advantage Donaire has is his experience, if that is nullified then Donaire will have trouble winning the fight.

I have to disagree with that. Donaire can even be considered to still have the ability to dominate most of the bantamweights.

Santiago is nowhere near Donaire's current status even though we talked about his age. Donaire is still quick at 38 and 39 and the proof of that is how he dominates his fights at that age with both 4th-round TKO wins against Nordine Oubaali and Reymart Gaballo.

Santiago can't even pass on the Top 5 rankings at those 4 recognized boxing organizations.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 26, 2023, 11:48:14 PM
Maybe Hearn advise him to take that risk to go down because he will be offered huge money in the table, in my opinion.

I think regardless, Bivol is capable of dealing with Canelo either in 168 or 175.

As long as there's a title at stake, that is already a good reason for Bivol to boost his confidence to win as in the first place, he really wants to collect titles.

According to some rumors though, the fight with Beterbiev will be the possible next in line for Bivol and that will probably happen this year. Personally, I'd rather want to see that first before taking Canelo in their possible rematch.
713  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: February 25, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
and one of the features to test the casino is by providing a faucet feature that can be claimed and used to try betting at certain casinos. it's actually one of the nice features for new casinos to attract more new customers to try or test the casino for free with claimed faucets.
but the most important thing for me is when testing a new casino it would be better to test with our own faucets and real funds with a small amount. so that we can do comparative research between betting using faucets and real funds.

Although it's good to have free money on gambling sites like faucets, seems not that interesting now to have such one and can't be used as attractive thing.

The better would be, good rakeback, and cashback loss for a weekly or monthly basis like Stake is doing.

Faucets also gives small amounts that you can't even used it for betting. That's a fact.
714  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommend your preffered slot games or game provider on: February 25, 2023, 11:59:40 PM
Hi guys, due to a demanding period during the last few months, I started to play online slots game for fun. In the beginning, NetEnt was my first try. I played their games for fun. However, it lacked various types of games to make me keep playing.

Play N Go - you can consider trying these game provider.

They have no buy-in feature that's why it's a good shot as you won't rely on game bonuses and features just to have a win.

And as far as I know, most of their games have a minimum of $0.01-$0.02 bet. Not bad for small players who wants to try their luck
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 25, 2023, 11:59:29 PM

Both have different styles and so I doubt that Brandon will mimic the style of Rey Vargas just to win. He has his own way or strategizing in this fight and fight Magsayo the way he knows it.

But for sure it will be his volume punching again, nothing will change a lot here, that's already what we call bread and butter, and that style has been working for him for many years except against Fulton who took all his best shots and received some as well.

Some versatile boxers can do the same strategy when they find their opponent is weak.  In this case, Vargas had exposed Magsayo's weaknesses, so there is a possibility that the camp of Figueroa will implement the same strategy.  It would be lucky for Magsayo if Figueroa will fight him toe-to-toe and do not take advantage of the reach advantage.

On the other hand, I believe Magsayo had studied Figueroa's fighting style and strategies, I hope his camp can find the weakness of the opponent and devise a plan to exploit it.

I have to agree on what you say but surely Magsayo also has a game plan how to counter Figueroa.

Having a height and reach advantage for Figueroa, Mark Magsayo will treat it the same as how he fights Vargas in their previous meeting.

Since Vargas is the only boxer on Magsayo's portfolio to have such advantages, he will used that reference how to counter Figueroa.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: February 25, 2023, 11:59:07 PM

I invested half of it in real estate, paid off my parents mortgage which was $81,000 and kept the rest in high interest term deposits.

Why didn't you think of investing some of your money in cryptocurrency? Congratulations to you, such stakes are very rare.  Grin
I was lucky only once in my life in sports betting, when I won the express with odds over 700.But my total bet was very small. Undecided

OP's money, OP's rule.

As he mentioned too, OP is just betting on the sports he has knowledge with. That was a good move. He applies that ithinking regarding investment therefore he chooses real estate as maybe he's not good at in investing cryptocurrencies. But who knows he will consider it someday.

But the point here is, his knowledge of that sport really paid off and as he risks a big amount on that bet, I admire his courage.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 25, 2023, 11:58:55 PM
Anyway, what I believe is that Thurman's chances is not that good because it's just hard to disregard that Spence is still on the height of his prime. What I mean is, let's just not expect too much as Thurman really did waste his time reflecting on his loss against a past-prime legendary.

In most aspects, Keith Thurman is nothing against Errol Spence. But it's a good opportunity that Thurman is having a big fight at the point of his career.

Spence is currently dangerous and I don't see how Thurman will deal with him.

If only Thurman remains super active after his fight against Pacquiao, he will be a good threat to Spence.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 25, 2023, 11:58:41 PM
Game fixing in small leagues is very rampant not specifically in one country, we have a share of that in our country
sometimes audiences can trace it, or feel that there's fixing going on while the game is being held these small leaguers are not good at hiding game fixing and the audiences are good at tracing or looking at game fixing, but if the games are very heated and both teams are very determined to win and even involves a brawl people will think that the game is real and may even think that players and managers are betting for their team which is good, than betting on their opponent and fixing the match.

Can't really be avoided especially in small leagues.

But still, there are lots of people who are being patronized by game fixing and I don't understand why in some countries, it's like there's an easy access to game fixing or related schemes.

This something can't be stopped that's why on some areas, they have to lived with it.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 25, 2023, 11:57:23 PM
Going to be a big task for him, at least he is willing to take that and not avoiding him.

Correct. Fulton is almost preparing to move up weight at 126 having a supposed rematch with Figueroa.

Instead, he skipped on that part of moving up so as to not have any regrets in his career, he needs to face Naoya Inoue.

After he wins, for let's say it will happen, Fulton will probably have big fights at 126 and a possible title fight already.
720  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 25, 2023, 11:55:39 PM
Any chance that this was just a fat finger mistake?

The comments on the importance of the total amount related to total wealth are on point
For a billionaire 1 million is just 1% of total wealth and an amount they can totally afford to lose in a bad bet
I don`t think so. This is a normal strategy when you have lots of money. You get a small profit, but with such a bet and such an odd - it may be called "guaranteed income". You can get $10.000-$50.000 from each bet and there are lots of such bets every week. But there is a chance to lose all. Like the OP told us. The main question how much he got before this bet.

Also, the fact that the man is willing to bet that kind of amount for huge odds, he might have already success in doing that and the winning rate is pretty high.

It's just on that time, he got busted and screwed and it's really unfortunate.

Based also on the said match, it's really already a sure win but the other team did some great surprises at the end. It's a big upset that happened.
