701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 22, 2023, 10:45:21 AM
Finally, Chet Holmgren gets a chance to shine since he's back to full health. His rookie season was a bummer due to injuries, but now he's ready to roll. With Wemby also have his debut, they're both bigs, so it'll be interesting to see if Chet can create his own name. They faced off in the preseason, and we got a taste of who's got the edge, but let's wait for the regular season. Chet might surprise us and outdo Wemby in the stats department.

It’s preseason though. Games of the team will be different after calibrating during regular season. I’m still not a fan of this kind of build because they are fragile and prone to injuries on physical game. I wonder how will this kid can handle player like Giannis and Jokic which will obviously play against them.

This is probably some new meta on NBA but let’s see how can they last on a more physical game because there’s a lot of player with tall build that only have a few spotlight on NBA due to the injury. They still didn’t encounter player like Pachulia who is dirty to play.
702  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAMMER] Karthik Sakthivel - Ozone Chain - Did not pay Bounty Hunters on: October 22, 2023, 10:15:04 AM
This sucks, I was about to purchased some of their token during their IDO since they some promising project with strong marketing in the forum. I thought everything went smooth in the background. Luckily I didn’t invest some of this token since I just plan to purchase when listed on DEX just to make sure.

It’s very sad to hear this. It’s really very hard to predict that they will turn out like this because they pay on their first wave of promotion here in the forum. Hoping that you will still get your pay.
703  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are chances of fraud very high on Binance P2P transactions ? on: October 22, 2023, 08:30:36 AM
I have heard that some scammers are making fake accounts on Binance for P2P and using hacked bank accounts for transfer. If we deal with them for P2P deals, our bank accounts can also get feezed. Have you ever faced this problem on Binance ? How can we reduce the chances of getting affected by this ?

This is true because there’s a story like this on our local board which one member made a transaction to a certain P2P vendor that use funds from hack bank account. The bank freeze his assets and require him to submit supporting details to back up all his transactions.

It’s really pain in the ass if you manage to made a deal on one of them since banks is centralized which means they are connected to each other that makes it easy to trace and freeze an account if tainted fiat landed on your account. It’s general rule on P2P to never trade on 3rd party account that has a different name to Binance account.
704  Local / Pilipinas / Re: When do you think is the next bull run will start, and why? on: October 19, 2023, 01:51:06 PM
This is related to my question on the thread created by @maslate. Since there's a lot of talk about a bull run, we might as well discuss it here. I would like to hear from the community about their predictions regarding when they think the bull run will start. Since the halving is approaching, and by looking at its historical patterns, it could be more likely next year. So, what do you all think, and what are your reasons for your guesses?

705  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: October 19, 2023, 11:37:05 AM

I'll advice you take this post and modify your OP to accomodate this tournament as it will be missing in between threads and the participation will be very poor and not encouraging.

Not everyone has to scroll to this particular page to find out the advert but it can be seen visibly in the OP once one opens the thread.

Part of this kind of update is why people often reserve their second post after the OP

I think the post on the thread is a good Idea as it did help the thread to come on the first page. That is the reason  you were able to see the new offer and I was too. That means more members would be able to see the new update. I think adding it on the first page would make the ANN page clutter, which is never advisable. OP did what was right for vbetFTN as the intention was to get more views.

Posting announcement post to bump the thread is really a good idea to make the thread more visible to the gambling board but I doubt the tournament itself will have a better exposure here than post on the games and round section since post here can be easuly flood by discussion.

A simple 20 replies here can me the announcement post already flooded by 1 page in this thread.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 19, 2023, 10:48:39 AM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?

People play gambling to win and have fun. I believe the simple motivation to keep playing is to stick to the main goal of winning and have fun. There’s no such thing as motivation on gambling since this not work or something that we need to work hard.

Gambling is just a leisure activity to get entertainment by winning money through the games played in the casino. I always feel to gamble whenever I have free time and money to spend it. I don’t need any motivation to play even though I loss in my previous game since I don’t consider them as connected.
707  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 19, 2023, 10:41:30 AM
Any promotion on shuffle for this upcoming weekends? Planning to spend my signature salary this week on gambling due to my temporary work vacation.

I’m looking forward to a free spin or free bet promotion in exchange for a wager on a certain games. The new game of Evolution Gonzo Treasure makes me interested to gamble this weekend. Just sharing for other guys to check out.

Suggestion, I hope you can add other network for USDT such as BSC or TRC to have a cheaper fee instead of only ERC20 while the casino accepts Tron already.
708  Economy / Economics / Re: If USA Will Be In The War - Government Can Confiscate All Bitcoins + Blockchain on: October 19, 2023, 06:27:13 AM
There are already 19 millions mined BTC worldwide, so this can be real war budget booster for weapons and other expenses. USA currently also has $33.54 trillion in federal debt, so if there are such international conflict, mined Bitcoins seizing for war budget can be really on the White House decision table.

The only flaw on this assumption is on what grounds will the US government can confiscate Bitcoin from node owner. Also if ever their government become tyrant then I’m sure they will have problem on how to liquidate that kind of amount without giving a huge impact to the price of Bitcoin in general.

Pretty sure that everyone will early exit if the US Government start seizing and liquidating Bitcoin and other crypto assets. But I’m not really sure how can they possibly do this legally without illegal charges. I’m sure USA will not be committed to become tyrant country just to fund a war of other country.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2023/10/16/bitcoin-momentarily-hits-30k-on-false-spot-etf-approval-report-leads-to-100m-liquidations/

Kung ito man talaga ang dahilan ng biglaang pump ng Bitcoin will that good indication still, kasi what if kung totoo na ngang Bitcoin ETF approval edit bull run na tayo, Ano sa tingin nyo.
Yun nga lang yung sa mga trader like sa mga mag short na dali ganun din yung mga nag long after na malaman na fake pala nadali.

Lucky wala ako position. Spot spot lang. Na meet yung sell order ko na 29K. SKL

Good for you.

710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 18, 2023, 11:36:22 AM
    • Review Campaign
Personally, I feel that review campaign brings more results to the project owners because the participants of the review campaign will surely use the project and there is the possibility than more than 30% of the campaign participants will continue to use the project if it is a good project.

The target of the campaign is not the participants exposure to the product launching their campaign but rather to give project a better exposure to the general audience. Review campaign main goal is to get feedback to the service they are offering. Review campaign and Signature campaign have different goal.

Signature is for exposure while review campaign is to gather feedback. I doubt your 30% figure is true or else project will choose review campaign as fix advertisement since 30% conversion is guaranteed. This is 2 different campaigns with different goal, you are the only one who assume review campaign as a better campaign for exposure compared to signature campaign that literally spread the brand all over the forum. Review campaign exposure is limited to a single thread.

But I believe Cryptopreneurbrainboss is good manager and he will not tolerate his participants will post anything random just for the sake to increasing their post count.

I agree on this. The concern is not about the manager handling this since post quality can’t be improve if the participants that applying are shit posters. I will not be surprised if the manager will frequently remove user on this campaign or tolerate a medium quality post just to have an active participants.

It’s very hard to find a decent poster for that pay rate while the average campaign gives that payment for a 25 post max. Even Stake that offers much higher pay per post with high post quota fails to full their campaign until now.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To protect consumers, Australia has introduced new regulations for cryptocurrenc on: October 18, 2023, 09:52:18 AM
That means consumers must be prepared for the loss of privacy from owning crypto which should still exist.
There may be no longer freedom for consumers who own crypto because the government can request reports from everyone who owns crypto.

Isn’t it already attained(the loss of privacy) with or without regulation like this once you create an account to centralized exchange?

Centralized services get our data such as IP address, transactions and many more once use their service. This kind of regulation is really good for consumer protection since there’s a lot of shady exchange like FTX that do use consumer money without any consent on different matter. I believe Binance is doing a lot of shady illegal trade that’s why they hate regulations.
    713  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: October 18, 2023, 09:19:18 AM
This just proved that Lightlord is dedicated to his marketing here in Bitcointalk with increased pay rates to motivate the participants to have a better output, we all know that having good incentives while posting here in Bitcointalk is a good motivation to post quality content, the rate is now competitive.

This improvement is good if the average campaign payout is still the same when this campaign is still active which is 60$ maximum pay for highest rank in the forum before. But right now the maximum earnings user can earn even on highest tier is just more or less 60$ for 60 post which can be earned by senior member rank with 20-25 post per week. Their current rate is still not that competitive but still it’s good that LL improve the pay rate.

I doubt this type of 60 post quota with low pay rate will improve the quality of post of participants that will max out the payment per week.

714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: October 18, 2023, 08:58:47 AM
This isn’t actually trading to be frank. We consider something as trading, when we trade assets for other assets. This is the theoretical meaning of trading. Now what these casinos are doing is just prediction games. You predict the price if the coins, whether it will go up or down. They impose housedge on these types of games too and makes good profits. You can consider this as a coin flip game where you decide heads and tails, but here you will decide price will go up or down.

There’s different type of trading and the one you are defining is a spot trading. Binary option is the one which this casino are using on their game. This same with the binary option offered by trading platform which user can bet on what will be the position of the current currency on the target date.

I would say it’s both gambling and trading at the same time. The game focus on determining the asset price in the future.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: October 17, 2023, 04:36:40 PM
Have you consider that you lose all your coins because the wallet phrase to your coins and PC burn in a war.
So what will you do if you survive after the war to start back your financial struggling and your crypto investment journey. Or can you get the coins back?

I always have digits backup just in case despite many warnings here about not backing up your seed phrase online. I always zip my seed phrase with password and put it on an online storage such as icloud. I make the name of the zip files like a typical documents just to make sure a hacker won’t get interested on it just in case.

I always expect the worst since my country is always experiencing strong typhoons every year that give high risk of physical damage on my properties. On this case of war, I believe having an online backup is your best choice since you can’t guarantee the safety of your assets physically. Just move the coins safely on different wallet once you are already on safe place.

    716  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: October 17, 2023, 04:31:08 PM
What happened to Duelbits contests which were easily some of the most popular contests in this forum sometime back? Their multiplier battles were really entertaining and attracted a lot of attention.

They should restart some of those contests and try new ones like prediction battles to retain gamblers within this forum due to rising competition.
. They focus on signature campaigns nowadays and use social media to create a contest outside the casino.
there customers base is not just only in the forum and I believe the step taken by duelbit using social media to create their contest and not in the forum is just another laudable strategy to keep their customers on the other side thrilled and engaging too.  Just as the popular saying goes " you can't put all your eggs in one basket". But somehow am sure if they feel a need to return the contest once again to the forum they won't hesitate.

I completely understand that which is why I brought it up. Social media is obviously the place which the majority of potential players hangout since not everyone have a Bitcointalk forum account while social media cover everyone including non-crypto user that can be converted to crypto user by playing in the crypto casino.

Duelbits really know what they are doing in terms of marketing strategy especially their special treatment for Bitcointalk forum since they are spending huge amount of money on their marketing here more than the social media since their social contest usually have a minimal amount prize except for major events.
717  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits scam 392$ USDT delay withdraw on: October 17, 2023, 03:25:39 PM
after They have been ignoring me for 2 days, and then I found a topic somewhere on this forum where they had not withdrawn money to a player for more than 3 months. Apparently I'll be the same?

It’s case to case basis and KYC usually took more than a week to be approved. The duration of approval will rely on what’s they are currently looking to your account. You can expect less time of approval if your account doesn’t have any violation in the ToS but expect worst if you share IP with other user that playing on same casino because your funds will surely freeze.

If you are confident that you don’t violate their terms then just give them a couple of days and weeks to verify your KYC. Asking the live support for update won’t speed up the process since there’s a different department handling verification. This issue still doesn’t categorized scam accusation since casino terms stated that ToS is required in the future so this is standard procedure which you agree upon registration unless it’s more than a week without any replies.

719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: October 17, 2023, 02:35:13 PM
Trading features in casinos are actually not just trading games of chance but all probability games to assess the risk and return of the type of game you are engaged in. Because we do not have the ability to predict even if we are more confident about everything risk always exists even though trading is a gamble and we cannot achieve 100% certainty. All of them have a common feature that is future prices cannot be predicted with any degree of accuracy by analysis alone. Even if fundamental analysis and technical analysis are combined the problem of improving accuracy cannot be solved so trading is a game of probability from start to finish when included in the casino.

This is right. Most importantly this kind of prediction game on bc and rollbit is using a shorter time duration to predict result which means it’s very hard to have an accurate prediction since there’s no pattern to rely on while indicators on this time frame often result to failure.

The only way to bhave a successful run on this kind of game is through a manipulation in the crypto market while you open a position just like what cointelegraph did recently.  Cheesy
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 16, 2023, 05:12:18 PM
Have seen a lot of threads talking about the bull market, and everyone making comments.
I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why? Knowing the fact that the next bull price will still come as bitcoin continues to grow, so I don't think selling all my bitcoin in the bull market is the best.

Selling all Bitcoin is a good idea if you knew exactly what is the peak for the bull run because you can always buy back at lower price when price corrects which is inevitable. Next bull run cycle usually take a year or more before the price starts to recover again.

Your only concern when you sell all your coins is the possibility of FOMO when the price keeps going up. My selling strategy is usually through selling by batch like DCA sell so that I can average my sell price until the peak reach. There’s always a price correction which you can use to enter again if you to trade efficiently.
