701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 02:12:11 PM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
You know I always thought that what we have experienced at the moment is just the result of market correction, and that the bear market will always have the chance to return again when there are negative news and events that would affect the market badly. And if confused why bitcoin price continues to ascend, it started with the fake ETF approval and has continued to surge high from then. The only proof that we are waiting that the bear market is already over is when majority of the crypto coins will experience a positive price increase, and it will only be possible if the real bull run starts.

For now, let's just put it this way, bitcoin market is not bearish nor bullish. Whatever its price movements, it has something to do with the current positive news in the market, and not because the bear market has already ended.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 20, 2023, 05:04:56 AM
Clarkson isn't shooting well tonight; he hasn't scored any points from beyond the three-point line. However, the Suns vs. Jazz game is still interesting because it's going into overtime. If the Jazz win, Markkanen could be the hero. These two teams have played two games, and it has always been satisfying for the fans. Hopefully, Utah would even their series.

And... there's the double OT, Sexton got the follow up shot.. Entertain yourself so much in this game because the Jazz aren't going anywhere. They are playing like a good team against Durant and Booker, let's see what would happen in the next 5 minutes. It has been so entertaining so far.  Smiley

Yeah, it went to double OT, but the Suns were still in control of the game as the Jazz couldn't stop Durant. Although Clarkson improved his shooting in the second half, it wasn't enough as they fell short against the Suns, with Durant scoring 39 points. The Jazz are now 0-2 on, but they fought well in their last two games. Congratulations to them for having a competitive team against a playoff team like the Suns.

705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Path to Profit: A Trader's Emotion & Terminologies Everyone should Know on: November 19, 2023, 09:13:34 PM
Thank you for the good output OP but  I don't think one trader should know all of these first before he decides to enter trading. If he will do that, it may delay his learning on trading. I prefer to let experience do the teaching. Once you are in trading, even if you don't study these terminologies, you will still be aware about all of these because you will come to encounter these in the trading space. And this time it will be easier for you since you are already doing the actual trading.

However, learning these terminologies prior to trading will still be a lot helpful. But we don't have to instill and force the trader to be aware on all of these because he will learn it on his own way through consistent exposure in the trading market.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wedding expenses and party celebrations with Bitcoin money. on: November 19, 2023, 08:23:10 PM
Bitcoin has done well to people, OP, you are very lucky to have made such a fortune in the short term, bitcoin as a volatile asset is an investment that appreciates and also rises in price, OP, I must congratulate you,
Absolutely OP is a lucky person because the price of Bitcoin has been going up ever since he invested. There are many investors who have to wait for a long time after investing but OP has managed to do that very quickly. I think OP is more pleasure with that. If he had to wait for a long time, he might not have been able to enjoy this time. On the one hand he has profited and on the other hand he is completing his marriage. It can be said that he got money at the time he needed it. Bitcoin has changed life for many like OP. Hopefully those who are encouraged to invest in Bitcoin as a newbie will also get the results they expect from Bitcoin.
Bitcoin investment proves its worth once again, happy for you OP. I have to agree OP must be too lucky because he had made significant profits with just a short term, something that may hard to happen to other people especially those who start buying bitcoin at its higher price. However, I just wish he had not withdrawn all his profits so he could invest again for future and reap bigger profits.  But no worries if he had spent all of it, the profits were used usefully especially in his very important event of his life.

Stories like this are very inspiring. It only proves that investing in bitcoin is worthy of our money and time, most especially if it becomes a tool to turn our dreams and goals in life into reality. Congratulations OP!
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 19, 2023, 06:59:57 AM
We've got a doubleheader today with some powerhouse teams hitting the court.

First up, it's Bolts vs. SMB in the opening game, followed by Ginebra taking on Magnolia in the second match.

I'm rooting for SMB in the first game because I want to see them shake off that disappointing loss from their last outing. And in the second game, I'm putting my money on Ginebra to put a halt to Magnolia's winning streak.

As for the odds in the first game, SMB is favored by -5 with 1.46 ML odds for the win.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Are you in profit? on: November 19, 2023, 06:37:45 AM
Let me be the first to vote, and my vote is "NO." I've already clicked on the poll too.

By the way, I'm a bit confused about the format. Is it green for all the text of my reply when my answer is "YES" and red if "NO"?

I might edit my post later, but just to clarify, my answer is no. I'm not ashamed because, like many others, I believe most of us aren't really profitable in gambling. We're still here because we enjoy it and remain optimistic that one day we'll turn a profit.

I usually bet on sports and they say it's a skilled based game and we can be profitable, but not in my case yet.  Smiley
709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Security Should Be Your First Target as a Newbie on: November 18, 2023, 09:52:02 PM
True, I see plenty questions people asking For investment, but often they have no idea of securing their investment.

We have seen already nothing is truly safe as some fiascos lately, such as ledger — it's questionable after ledger recover. Non-custodial wallets? Atomic wallet got hacked. Exchanges? They get hacked all time.
Asking how to make your investments work and become sustainable in the market will still be useless if you are not responsible enough to secure your investments. That should be your first goal and target more than anything. But since its nature for the people to only get learned after they have committed mistakes and losses, then most probably after that, these investors will only tighten the security of their wallet.

Hacking becomes more rampant in the market maybe because of these new investors who lack the knowledge to secure their investments. And the more newbies to rush investing without prior knowledge, expect that hacking and scamming will never be stopped.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 18, 2023, 08:49:50 PM
Actually it all depends on our position when saving and investing, and I do both and prioritize the investments I plan for the future and also when I really need them and use them according to my needs.
I already have a family, of course the needs of married people and single people are very different, especially in terms of their needs. And I'm not very frugal with money and I always put my family's needs first, and if it will make them happy, I will do it because I want them to be happy. Because I make money for them, and this is also important for the future and I think this should be balanced and also supported by income.
The fact that you have family to feed and provide, then the more that you will be motivated to save or invest for their future. But that does not mean that its okay to ignore the present needs and only focus on their future needs and wants. Of course it's not, you have to balance dealing with the present and future life. You might lose the chances to enjoy life at its present and lose current opportunities because you are so busy preparing for the future.

Invest in your future because its a must. But also learn to value the present and give your best as well, so you won't be regretting in the end. Life is unpredictable, enjoy it while you are capable and seize every opportunity that comes every now and then.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 18, 2023, 03:00:37 PM
You're not exactly investing in gambling itself; rather, you're investing in gamblers. It's somewhat akin to being a loan shark, observing them play. When they run out of funds, you step in to offer cash, likely with a higher interest rate given the high-risk nature of the loan.

It's commendable that you ensure proper risk management by requiring collateral. It seems like a lucrative business, especially since gamblers may be tempted to try their luck again, especially after a tough gambling session when they're eager to bounce back.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 18, 2023, 01:14:37 PM
Exciting matchup ahead – Dallas vs. Bucks. The home team is a -2 favorite, and I'm thinking of placing a small bet on it. I've got the home team at -2 because I believe Irving and Giannis have figured out how to make their tandem effective.

I'll tail you on this one, as I also think the Bucks will come out on top, thanks to the home court advantage. The crucial factor is that both Lillard and Giannis will be playing. We're in for a matchup between Lillard and Irving, and when it comes to Luka and Giannis, I'm not sure if there's anyone who can effectively halt or reduce their production, especially considering Giannis's aggressive play when driving to the basket.

Also, considering a second bet on the Warriors Money Line! No Curry and Green, I'm fading the public.

Good luck, let me just watch this game and not betting as the Warriors hasn't been winning recently.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 18, 2023, 11:53:37 AM
Westbrook starting at second unit and then joining the main team is not a bad idea to be fair. It allows Harden to be the ball carrier, allows Kawhi to focus on defense which he does so well which we have seen again, even at a close game they did alright in the end thanks to his amazing defense, and allows PG to be "look" like third option, but be the main "passed to" guy at offense anytime. I think them three would be awesome, and not like Westbrook is terrible for this team, when he is with second unit, he is better than everyone else and that allows them to dominate the second unit minutes, when other starters join, he gets to play with them like nothing happened just a minute ago, and just drive inside like crazy, and pass to many shooters they have on the team.

Finally, their streak is over, and it goes for both teams, as the Rockets were also on a winning streak at that time. It was almost another loss for the Clippers since they were trailing in the 4th quarter. Luckily, PG's 3-point shooting was excellent, and they managed to rally and beat the Rockets. I'm not convinced yet that they've found their rhythm, but that win is probably a good start. Let's see from here if they'll continue winning or if they'll start another batch of losing streaks.
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's better to provide Quality and not Quantity... on: November 17, 2023, 09:55:20 PM
The essence of creating an educative and interactive forum is to encourage each member to come up with a good and quality post so that the other members may benefit and learn valuable ideas from it.  This will only happen if all members will take their time to research first and assess the information that they have acquired whether it could be good and beneficial to others or it could create a confusion until others decide to lose interest and leave the forum.

It should be quality over quantity. It's useless to see a parade of posts where the contents are just low and sometimes off topic, than to create a powerful post that contains a very valuable and helpful idea that will encourage other members to do the same.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 09:15:48 PM
When I checked the statistics of women who are into Bitcoin and found out that they are less than 10%, it surprised me seriously. It is understandable when we see fewer women than men in sectors that require physical energy to carry out work activity like the military or in the engineering sector but when you still see this same work force difference in the tech and Bitcoin space that they can comfortably do at the comfort of there home, it gets me curious to know the reason that might have been responsible for this huge gap.

I would appreciate if we can talk about this here. What could be responsible for this?

It's because women are risk averse, which means that they decline to take risk unlike men. Maybe because they just wanted their men to do everything for them just like what you said, stay at home moms. Or it could be how they are build as compare to men, with all of our testosterone in our body, we think that we can go and take that huge risk and win the end, just like in gambling.

And if you say 10% or at least that numbers, it huge already and who knows, as the world is changing an going into a lot of phase about gender and everything what's inside of it, maybe we can see more women trying to removed that stigma, join bitcoin or at least involved themselves in crypto market and they might find enjoyment here. I think though there are women already like a CEO of companies related to crypto if I'm not mistaken.
Women are said to be weak where men are more powerful and unbreakable. And with the nature of bitcoin that involves higher risk, men mostly want to engage in it because it creates a challenge for them not just to overcome the risks but to gain a lot after. They want to take advantage where there are opportunities, which I think women are quite slow when it comes to that because of their feminine characteristics that push them to act ladily compared to the very strong and aggressive men.

But it does not mean that women are left behind when it comes to the success on bitcoin. As much as men have become more intense in achieving bitcoin sucess, women as well have become highly competitive as men.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 17, 2023, 04:50:41 AM
Warriors and OKC is currently playing, OKC up by double digit, could be another L for the home team?

Seems like it's a close game with OKC holding onto a single-digit lead. We're into the 3rd quarter, which is usually where the Warriors shine. If they can take this quarter, they've got to keep grinding in the 4th. Predicting this one is tricky, just when folks start counting the Warriors out, they pull a comeback. Anything can happen!
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 17, 2023, 03:38:21 AM
The Warriors have been up against OKC, and it hasn't been going too well. Without Draymond and Curry, it's a major challenge for them. Even with CP3, Kuminga, Wiggins, and Thompson, they're still undermanned. I think OKC might take the win, spelling another disappointing loss for the Warriors.

Just looking at the height difference, OKC has a significant advantage, making it tough for the Warriors, especially in stopping SGA.

By the way, the first game is already done – the Heat beat the Nets, and Butler scored a season-high 36 points.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 16, 2023, 09:14:41 PM
It's hard to build confidence when you are trading as a newbie. Because in reality, newbies have nothing but greed and that motivates them to trade quickly even if they know they are more prone to losses than creating gains. But through experience that enables you to overcome your losses in the long run, you start to gain trading confidence and start to manage your losses and your mistakes in trading.

However, confidence is not built with days and months but it takes even years for you to be able to see yourself as a reliable trader. But it does not mean that you are free from committing losses already, of course even pro traders have their own time of losing.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: November 16, 2023, 04:22:51 AM
Wow! Saudi again. After the successful fight of Fury vs Ngannou, they go again with an even bigger one. Familiar names, and Dmitry Bivol is included, making this fight very interesting to watch. Well, I guess we can't expect a Fury vs Usyk anymore this year, as this one are also a big matchups to excite the fans.

I'm rooting for Joshua and Wilder to win their respective fights so they could face each other for the first time.

As for Dmitry Bivol, I think he'll be a sure winner here.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2023, 03:51:27 AM
Anyway, tonight we are going to see the Suns finally playing their big 3 together. They'll be facing the Wolves, and let's see if they can start a winning streak. Currently, they are on a 2-game losing streak, but it should end tonight.

It looks like this may be an easy win for the Suns, as they already lead by 22 points after the end of the first half. By the way, Durant has already scored 17 points, and Booker has scored 18 points. The other Suns players are also performing well, while the Wolves have only KAT and Edwards, who are trying to do something against them.

Minny are probably tired due to their successive games, while the Suns have some good rest and they welcome back booker again. Actually, Beal is not on the line up, probably he was just resting as the coaching staff is making sure they'll manage their players effectively. A win is a win though, entering 4th quarter they have a lead of 28 points, no way Minny would be able to come back for this.
