702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Legit Hardware for Alt coin mining is it worth it? on: March 25, 2017, 07:19:47 PM
Hi, as said in the title I'm looking for a legit Hardware, my budget is $100-$300( CND currency ). I'm still a beginner and trying to learn mining, I have MacBook pro 2013 (Mid 2012, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB) our electricity cost 0.12$/kw. So whats the best thing for me to do. What what can I buy from my budget? Base on what I have and my electricity cost? or what alt coin should I mine?. Thank you

The next point release of the Monero GUI will allow smart mining in background as long as you keep the daemon running. You would have to try it to see if your laptop can handle the load and still give you the function you need. You could always put together a standalone one or two GPU card mining rig.

What is this Monero Gui thing will you teach me? pm me please. Thanks Smiley

So I did a quick calculation and it appears your average price will be 0.12 per kwh (I based it on low rate weekends and 12 hours per week day at high rate).   I plugged in the numbers and right now it's just not profitable for you to mine Bitcoin.  The good news is that with the recent price drop of Bitcoin, you can always buy some and hold it!

Thank you for your help xhomerx10,I was having a hard to doing the calculation of my average of our electricity. Thank you for doing it for me Smiley. What if mining an alt coin? would I get any profit? if so what type of alt coin should I mine?. I already thought I was already late on mining Bitcoin but is their an alternate way to get an income other than investing Bitcoin and selling it in high price?. Actually I'm doing RaiBlocks captchas right now but I don't think I can profit that much. Thanks Smiley

707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 24, 2017, 02:37:15 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?

Yes, experience is very important especially in gambling. As you said porker and such is required experience to know the game but for other games like dice / roulette / etc.. Its really an advantage to know what you are doing, having experience and knowledge makes you wiser when gambling. Having experience makes you think through if you are winning or losing. It gives you a boost of chance and you know your limits. So for me having experience is very important when gambling.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your bet in nba finals , GSW or Cavs? or what team is your bet? on: March 23, 2017, 10:43:06 PM
Of course no other team is better than CAVS!!!!. Me and My friend was betting on the Finals last season and I though CAVS was going to lose on a 1-3 lead against GSW. Until Lebron and Kyrie clutched the game and won the game!. It was a history in the making. Theres also a lesson behind it, that is to never give up in your dreams to win despite of the score or reason to give up if your team is losing. Theres always a chance when the game is still not over. Don't lose hope, be brave and fight on what you want.

ps. I won a kyrie shoes on our bet  Grin Grin
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: March 23, 2017, 06:28:09 PM
If today was your last day (hopefully not Cry) and you surely know that its your last day. It depends on the situation if it was me and i have kids, I will not spend everything on gamble just because you might lose it all and your kids will suffer from your mistake and they will starve to death but if I don't might as well bet all of it (YOLO Grin) and give it to my parents and donate everything/ just do anything you want.  Cool Cool
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: March 23, 2017, 10:42:16 AM
Worst mistake that I have done in gambling is that I have over bet on something that I didn't know I though I was betting a small amount but then when I play the game I just realize that I mistakenly bet more than I want. Then I lost it all  Embarrassed That was really miss fortune but in the good side I learned my lesson and will always check the balance before I Bet.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: March 23, 2017, 02:03:17 AM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.

If gambling was not introduce, yes many people will work hard and earn more money.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Than gambling all of your money and lose it all. Yes, you can win but you can also lose.  It depends on your luck and most of the time many people lose all of their money just because of gambling.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: March 21, 2017, 03:28:22 PM
How to make a decent amount with 0.01BTC  in good time? Any good strategy or any method? Or any tips please?

Making good amount in BTC in a good time is impossible ( well if you gamble and win but if you don't have luck. Sorry to say) but for me a good strategy is by doing small jobs like faucets and watching videos for BTC. It's the most effective way if you are just a beginner but if you have a higher rank in the Forum you can work and apply for campaigns which can pay you 0.0002 BTC ( the lowest)  per post. If you are more higher and higher rank you can get more.  Smiley Hope it helps.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: March 21, 2017, 05:19:16 AM
hello, I would like to try my luck from gambling.

what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?

Hi, Gambling is a pure luck game you can win or lose anything but in my opinion there is no easy way to make profit in gambling there is more chance to earn if you just save you money for later than betting it on gambling and not knowing if you win or lose but if you just to play for fun you can play and have fun not for profit. So my advice is play gambling for fun not for profit and save you money/ invest it in more legit companies/sites that would give you some profit.  Smiley Smiley

715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for dice from faucet - Non self-moderated topic. on: March 18, 2017, 01:19:25 PM
For me the best strategic way is to be patient. I'am still a newbie but I searched a lot and ask a round a lot in this forum on how to earn fast faucet/BTC. I'm doing 5 mins faucets right now and it need 13k to be paid so I'm doing that while being a newbie because  I can't do campaign yet, and I'm also doing RailBlock captchas too. so while I'm still a newbie I can try earn and be busy while waiting until I can join a campaign.  Smiley Smiley
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: March 18, 2017, 01:09:20 PM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?

For me gambling is just a sort of entertainment, either with friends or with family. Either way I don't see gambling as a profitable that because there is a high risk in it. You won't know if you will surely win it or lose everything. It's not win-win situation. Many people already have been broke/Bankrupt because of gambling. I don't wanna risk my future and what I have right for 0.1% chance of winning out of 99.9% losing. Thats why most casinos adverts have discretion. Too have limit and play smartly.

718  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: March 18, 2017, 11:53:23 AM
As the title says, do you think that you're addicted to gambling? or you just don't realize that you're addicted Roll Eyes
If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.

For me its a "NO". Even though I play in casinos and online gambling. I don't see myself as addicted to gambling thats because I can control myself when playing. I always set myself a limit and I know what I can offer and not. You know when you are addicted to something not just gambling is whenever you stop doing it, you always look for it over and over again. Addiction is an disorder a habit problem were you cant stop doing it and looking for it. Thats the time you see yourself addicted to something.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: March 18, 2017, 11:26:31 AM
Hey! Good day i really need some answers because its about gambling in your life and other people are playing for it with heart and i just thought that how can gambling help you with your life? and do you gain something from it? does it help you to be wise or worst your attitude will change.. i need answers please!

Good day Canah 17, gambling doesn't guarantee you to help your life. There are some people who bet all of their money and saving just to gamble. Gambling is an addiction or an disorder which you can't help you self from playing and that is they only thinks about. I know someone who lost everything in gambling. The guy own a hotel but he was so addicted to gambling he bet all of it and lost all of it, now he lives in a small wooden house working as a labourer. Gambling companies doesn't give you chance to win they only twist peoples minds and make you believe that you can win and this doesn't help at all when a person is trying to get over his/her addiction in gambling.
720  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Newbie trying Mining on: March 14, 2017, 04:08:14 PM
Yes you need hardware, and if you want max possible ROI DO NOT point your miner to Antpool or any of the other pools that don't give up the txn fees.  That's a ripoff.

What would your recommendation as a newbie? of course I can't buy high end hardwares right away. Where should I start? .should i get the USB type hardware?. and join in a pool mining website?
